The Right Can’t Meme

The Hat and The Hair Super Funtime Cartoon Show has been an ongoing feature of this site for almost a decade now. It, I believe, is a cartoon that attacks the ‘Right’ and the ‘Left’ from the right. The cartoon hasn’t gained me the fame I wish, because you lot are all insular and afraid to share it with anyone for fear of being verboten in ‘Normal’ society. So normally the youtube numbers and comments reflect the same 100 or so folks who frequent our small enclave. But the April 2025 episode #87 ‘Draft Dodger’ must have clicked a small change in the youtube algorithm and I got comments from non-glibs! Lets celebrate! Let’s see what these new fans have to say!

It appears this very mentally challenged individual cannot conceive that criticism of Trump can come from anyone on the ‘RIGHT’, even when said cartoon features Joe Biden’s son living in Fuck Tunnels wearing nothing more than a jock strap and a scarf, and his talking piece of crack is scurrying around in the Oval Office. I offer this poor mentally challenged man some thoughts and prayers.

This one got 2 likes, presumably from the other dudebros who commented. First of all, I’ve never claimed to be a sane person. I’ve been making cartoons about talking hair and hats for almost a decade. But, regardless of politics, how can you not find the joke about the Hair making a refence to Dodgeball and the Hat missing the reference and going on a rant at least chuckle worthy? Unless you missed the reference, then you should be embarrassed.

This one got 5 likes, group think in action. To go back to the premise, this person, ostensibly on the ‘Right’, cannot even fathom that someone even more to the right of him could have criticism of Trump. Compared to me I’m sure this guy is a gay-ass commie. But his tiny pea brain can’t even fathom that. Again, I will point out this comment was on a cartoon where Hunter Biden’s Crack Cocaine was in the Oval Office and Hunter Biden was living in the JFK Hooker Tunnels (TM SugarFree) wearing nothing but a jockstrap and a scarf. But, lets answer all his criticisms? One by one.

  1. “You are all just obsessed with this guy.” I’m pretty sure this means he thinks I’m a lefty, which you all know I am not, I’m pretty sure the pastiche of the show proves. But, outside of the show, no, I don’t give a fuck about Trump. I think he is a vehicle for funny cartoons that show up on Glibertarians.com the last Wednesday of every month, but I really I don’t give a fuck in my day to day life. I try to fucus on living a full and rich life where when I’m away from work I can focus on my family and try to find joy in all the small moments that happen. My life doesn’t hinge on what happens in DC, it hinges on being there when my niece nails her solo in her middle school production of Finding Nemo the Musical and teaching my oldest nephew how to make my dad’s honey mustard BBQ sauce. But thank you for losing the James Randy challenge to prove mind reading exists.
  2. “Why you mad bro” I’m not. I didn’t vote for either Bozo, but I was less upset that Trump won. That doesn’t mean I can’t criticize what he does.
  3. “LOL…OMG, I can’t stop…you are all too typical and predictable…” Well apparently I got Zem to Laugh Out Loud, so comedy job done. Wait, all too predictable? You expected a joke about trade policy to transition into a joke about slavery to transition into a joke about the NFL draft to transition into a joke about suicide to transition to a joke about drug addiction to transition into a joke about Hunter Biden? This fucker is some kind of Shaman or Hindu mystic if he expected that, because I wrote it and didn’t even expect it.
  4. “It’s Ok the adults are back in charge again so sit back and enjoy the next 4…sorry 16 years” I mean, it does seem like the dimwitted parents who don’t know which remote to use are back in charge. How the fuck did that Atlantic writer end up in the snapwhistlechanneltwitpariscopethingymabob? I do love a Watchamacallit every now and then, I’ll admit. GOD please give me 16 more years of Hat and Hair, as long as under the new Trump Reich that doesn’t get me gas chambered.

I think someone with this username has said something similar either on another video or on my twix. But to be honest I don’t give enough fucks to check. Maybe I have a Nemesis? I don’t give a fuck. My identity is not tied up in this, it’s just something I do for fun and marginal teeny profit. But, honestly, this is the sentiment that so many glibs have shared with me about the cartoon VS the MSM; except in those cases it was how much better Sugarfree and I do at making fun of Trump than the MSM. Maybe different people might like different things and a government, whether an (R) or a (D) is in charge shouldn’t be deciding anything other than how those people can justly interact without infringing the rights of others? Naw, that’s just Lefty talk.

A critic is a legless man who teaches running.

Rudeness is the weak man’s imitation of strength.

People who try to drag you down are already beneath you.

    • UnCivilServant

A critic is a person with an opinion. You imply all criticism is both negative and insubstantial.

Rudeness is unrelated to posturing. It is a metric of adherence to social convention.

      • Derpetologist

        “Rudeness is unrelated to posturing.”

I see this is your first day on earth.

See the beginning of Full Metal Jacket for an example.

      • UnCivilServant

Hard time remembering that movie. I know I watched it at some point.

First rule of the internet – don’t read the comments.

Why did you read this? Did you not pay attention to the first rule?

  3. The Other Kevin

This kind of mirrors what I see in real life. Anyone paying attention enough to politics to understand your work has 95% of the time picked a team and can’t fathom that someone else isn’t solidly on one team or the other.

You’re not important until you have a Nemesis, CPRM.

    I thought is was funny.

We need to make those cheap goods here and sell them at a higher price, or China wins.

    • WTF

      You’re right, that’s funny!

    • UnCivilServant

Or, we could demand quality instead of cheap crap that breaks before you take it out of the factory, but gets shipped and sold anyway (no refunds).

      • Derpetologist

“Look, do you want it done right or done fast?”

        “Well, like any American, fast!”

      • UnCivilServant

Liar. I’m an American. I want it done right so that it doesn’t have to be done again.

      Support American sweat shops!

      • Timeloose

You can make clothes in the USA. You might have to pay a bit more, but you should have some other kind of benefit to offset the price.

In this case I own a few pairs. They are well made, have custom sizes/made to order, so they are worth it to me.

31 inch inseam instead of 32 too long or 30 “where’s the flood?”

But thank you for losing the James Randy challenge to prove mind reading exists.

The James Randy reference would go right over his head.

    But that’s OK.

    I liked it.

    • ron73440

      James Randi was amazing.

When I was a kid I saw a man demonstrate telekinesis by tuning pages in a book without touching him.

Then someone called him out for blowing on the book.

He proved it by putting packing peanuts around the book, which the telekinesis guy claimed created a disturbance in his mental force.

Years later I watched a documentary on James Randi and realized he was the debunker I had seen.

My favorite moment in the documentary was when the “faith healer” Peter Popoff, who always knew the person’s name and ailment when they stood up was busted by Randi for using a radio.

He had Popoffs wife saying, “I hope you can hear this Peter, if you can’t we’re in trouble”.

Then she proceeded to tell him the name and ailment of the person he was approaching.

Last I saw though, the Popoffs were selling a magic healing water.

      • Ted S.

He went after a phony Russian psychic who claimed to get some sort of psychic aura from photograph by having the psychic analyze a photo of a smiling Ted Bundy.

Needless to say, she didn’t recognize Bundy.

      • The Other Kevin

I think I found Randi via Penn and Teller somehow. They were influenced by him a lot.

I still have 4 or 5 of his books, which are great. In my college days, before Amazon, I had to go to a desk at the local book store and have them all special ordered. Like an uncivilized barbarian.

      • UnCivilServant

        🤔

        What’s a Civilized Barbarian?

      • Nephilium

In case you were unaware, An Honest Liar is a documentary about Randi. I watched it a while back, a bit too much focus on his personal life (at the time) for my taste, but overall worth it.

      • EvilSheldon

I have an autographed copy of Flim-Flam! that my Dad picked up sometime back when he was doing a lot of card-and-coin magic and hanging out at Al’s Magic Shop* in downtown DC. It’s one of my most treasured possessions.

        * – Interesting side story; Dad ran into Muhammad Ali for the second time at Al’s. Ali was fascinated by stage magic and sleight of hand.

      • ron73440

Pretty sure that’s the one I saw.

I agree with there being too much focus on his personal life.

All my wife remembers is that he was a little creepy as an old man with a young boyfriend, not that he did a great job of exposing hoaxes.

      • SandMan

Another famous incident was when Yuri Geller was on the tonight show, and Johnny Carson had Randi advise him on how to sabbatoge Geller’s performance that night. It worked perfectly, I think Geller was going to bend spoons with his mind, or something like that, and he couldn’t do anything.

      • kinnath

Carson was a talented magician as well. I wasn’t aware that Randi was involved in that.

      • Suthenboy

        “What is a civilized barbarian?”

In today’s context a savage that shaves, wears a suit, lives in air conditioning and makes thier living through deceit or coercion. In a word ‘Us’.
Again, I hear people talk about civilization a lot but I dont see much evidence of it.

      • Not Adahn

We saw something of that nature in elementary school. We then spent the rest of the year psychically rotating pencils on our books.

  8. ron73440

    People criticize everything.

Just now one lady told another that AMC is going to have half price Wednesdays.

The other lady answered with,”They just being greedy and trying to get more money”.

If I had a wish, I think I would ask for Americans to understand free market economics.

    • Rat on a train

I loved going to matinee Tuesday’s with my father when I was in college. The price was low enough we didn’t check what was playing before going.

      • Nephilium

Locally that was the budget theater on Tuesdays (IIRC), $2 adult movie tickets. We didn’t feel bad about walking out if the movie was garbage either.

    • Timeloose

I saw TAMR on tv in the 80’s and read about him in the Skeptical Inquirer magazine back in the day. I used to read magazines in the local book stores.

Barnes and Noble had the best assortment of alternative magazines in the 1990s in my area. That was where I found Reason, on the same shelf and section.

      https://skepticalinquirer.org/exclusive/the-amazing-meeting/

      • Suthenboy

Another Skeptical Inquirer reader. Huh. Like most of the periodicals I subscribed to I had to let it lapse.

I see they recently published Bill Nye on climate change.

  9. Not Adahn

    What kind of Nemesis?

The “burns down your house and you kill them in act V” kind or the slap-slap-kiss kind?

  10. The Late P Brooks

I tend toward a very agnostic idea regarding concepts of sin. I am skeptical about God, but I think we really ought to pay attention to the concepts of wrongness and harm in behavior millennia of our forebears came up with, especially since I can see both in my own life and in the world at large how these things create misery.

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

That’s crazy talk. History started yesterday.

    • Derpetologist

The best hunters are often mocked in tribal societies, which is one of the reasons they stay primitive.

99% of human history was tribal societies.

  11. JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

I voted for the guy, but I still think he gives lots of material to make fun of, and you do it well. But as I tell my kids, opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one, and most of them stink.

    • Ted S.

Opinions in spandex highlight the asshole? :-p

  12. Sensei

Words fail me here. I want to understand why the student is paid directly here and not the college. Naturally that’s not explained.

Here’s just how bad the ‘ghost student’ crisis has gotten at California colleges

    https://www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/article/community-college-financial-aid-fraud-20325192.php

California’s college officials detected and thwarted fraud in 31.4% of the roughly 2 million community college applications last year, up from 20% in 2023.

Almost 1/3rd of applications are fraudulent? Way to go CA!

    • Sean

Do ghost students get ghost guns?

      • Sensei

        They also eat ghost peppers.

      • Sean

I’ve got some peach ghost plants in the mix this year.

    • Suthenboy

How many of those are in default? What? All of them you say?
No wonder the Dems want to forgive the loans. They are up to their eyeballs in that, whatchawannabet?

Matt Carricker (Demolition Ranch) decided he had enough money and retired. His camera crew started their own youtube channel riding his coattails called “Diversity Hires.” It’s mildly entertaining.

      • Suthenboy

Who would stop doing that? The money is kind of irrelevant. He gets paid to play like a jr. HS boy FFS.

      • slumbrew

I suspect the Trump shooter wearing one of the Demolition Ranch t-shirts brought Matt more grief than he wanted to deal with.

      • Suthenboy

Ah. I was unaware of that. Where is that tin foil hat….

  13. Chipping Pioneer

I have experienced this while trolling the comments section on a newspaper. Any criticism of the Conservatives is met with thoughtful responses such as “Well you must love Justin Trudeau”.

It’s one of two phenomena identified by Malice:

“They are only capable of thinking in binaries”

    or

    “There is no mind there”

    Electric off-roader

The ‘wagonover’ rides on the e-TNGA platform and features a dual-motor all-wheel drive system producing 375 hp (280 kW / 380 PS). Toyota didn’t say much about the powertrain, but noted the model has an X-Mode system and a Grip-Control function. The latter promises to leverage “motor drive power modulation to achieve capable off-road performance.”

The electric motors are powered by a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which promises to deliver a so-so range of up to 260 miles (418 km). When the battery is low, it can go from a 10-80% charge in around 30 minutes with a DC fast charger. Other notable charging features include a North American Charging System (NACS) port, a pre-conditioning function, and a Plug & Charge capability. Toyota also said the EV will have a 3,500 lb (1,588 kg) towing capacity.

    So exciting.

I watch a youtube channel called Matt’s Off Road recovery (in Utah) now and then. They specialize in retrieving morons from places they shouldn’t be. I can’t help wondering what they charge.

Anyway, I can’t wait for one of these massively overweight bricked monstrosities to show up in some inaccessible rockpile.

    • Sensei

Beware the source. It’s designed for very light off road and makes no further claims.

I seem to recall Matt got himself into a wee bit of trouble with some shenanigans on AAA or some other kind of breakdown insurance. I never bothered to look into how true it was.

      Unrelated bonus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmBibFdMIRU

They do it with RWD ICE sports cars on the beach too. I was busting on the website that does basically nothing more than regurgitate automotive press releases.

I was busting on the website that does basically nothing more than regurgitate automotive press releases.

Speaking of which- I saw a thing about Ford’s latest recall: something about the air intake gnawing through the front brake line (WTF?) in/on Car and Driver. A site supposedly by and for knowledgeable enthusiasts. If I were me, I’d show a photo of how this seemingly absurd phenomenon could occur. What do they have? FoMoCo PR beauty shots of the pickups in question.
