I’m wondering if I need to rethink my strength training. I’ve been doing lots of high volume(relatively) low weight stuff, body weight exercises, and running. I’m significantly more fit than I was but I can’t really lift that much heavier than when I started training again about a year ago.
I’m wondering if I need to do more heavy lifts, or just up my protein intake. Honestly a little concerned with injury, getting too old for all this.
I guess the obvious answer is make sure your macros are good before changing anything else and see how you respond.
