The engineers were of a different sort, long and thin, bred for space, Tuppy and Pongo really kept the ship and in fact the entire journey alive. Known jokers, Pongo likes to shit in doorways, but they always work, Tuppy just broods, but another engineering crew you won’t find this side or the wormhole.
We sent a few drones down and saw some basic industry but mostly agrarian settlements, so it was decided to land near the largest settlement. According to our radio analysis they call it Rendou.t
“Alright boys and girls its time to hunt” the captain barked and everything was ready. Our Great Danes filled the initial drop ships followed by the Terriers and finally the Dachs as sweepers, They wasted no time.
The Danes went feral on landing and proceeded to attack the local township, eliminating many souls. Discipline was harsh but no more than a decimation’s worth, and they did secure the settlement without further issues so, good dogs!
The humans often likened us to the Roman war machine of some 3000 years ago in our order, discipline and the setup of an immediate perimeter wherever we landed. So it was today. The diggers built a palisade as the rat terriers provided recon while the Danes Fabricated our Kennel of operations.
After 2 days of hunting and relaxing we approached what appeared to be their leader, a small gaunt looking humanoid about four feet tall, clothed in some finery with gemstones and such, and Del took over.
ROO!
The chief replied, roʻoo? roo.
“CapMax!, they speak fluent Canine”
Wednesday, they are humanoid. How is this possible?
Don’t know captain but they understood everything I said, bloody odd ya know?
Indeed, tell them we are to be provided with hunting grounds and space for our young to grow and any interference will be dealt with harshly. after they understand their place then we can negotiate, report your findings, Dismissed.
we entered into a fine peace with the humans and things were going well, our relationship with the humans was good and our pups were strong, then came a message.
“To Max, captain of the good ship Canidae, congratulations on the settling of a new world! We have noted your progress and are proud to say we have already sent the first 20k settlers your way, they will arrive within a year, with many more to follow, humanity thanks you”

OT I know. (Sorry Bobo)
But the first meme is in honor of all our past, present, and future Walmart employees.

Saw that no worries
It’s a confusing name because it implies that the Trojans successfully kept something out instead of letting something in by mistake.
Still a better name that Trojan Horse.
In France, they say marriage is like a besieged castle – everyone in is trying to get out and everyone out is trying to get in.
“Are Americans finally waking up to some of the scams that have been sold to us?”
No they’e not. Maybe 1% of us are, but out of 350 million?
Nope.
Nice to see the Patriots beating down on the Giants, but the Patriots are not as good as their record suggests. They’ll probably earn a first round bye and then get beat in the second round.
I had forgotten just how bad their old uniforms were.
As my oldest friend points out: “They were terrible when they wore those unis. Bury them.”
I like the throwbacks better than their current navy/silver look. However, the early 90s uniforms when they first changed were even better, with the brighter blue.
The Nor’easter jerseys were sweet. Not sure how often those will get worn (just for Thursday games?)
I think you are underestimating them.
I hope I am, but this is an inexperienced team who has been feasting on bottom-tier teams for most of the season because they were a bottom-tier team a year ago. I think teams like the Colts and Broncos could stop them in the playoffs, even if they’re playing in Foxboro, and you can’t count out the Bills or Chiefs yet. And even if they make it to the Super Bowl they’re likely going to play stronger teams like the Rams or 49ers.
I’m the Grover Cleveland of Walmart as I have worked for them on 2 nonconsecutive occasions. First time was the summer I graduated high school in 2003.
Eh, it’s a living.
Enjoy Day 2. Orientation wasn’t nearly as bad as the ones I did in ’24. Those were at two plasma centers, so that might have something to do with it. I was pleasantly impressed with Walmart’s lack of DEI bullshit.
I just woke up so I’m a bit out of sync. I’ve slept most of the afternoon away and I’m still rather tired, but I *am* eating meal 1.5 of the day. (I haven’t stopped eating, when awake and not working, but my constant nibbling is oddly mixed in content.)
Another four four inches of snow, it looks. Pretty cozy. Engine light still on and I was gonna get Autozone to have them clear the code-thing to turn it off, and a trip to Michigan for rX supplies was planned before the cold dug in. This snow may change those plans. *Contemplates*
I get drive back to OKC again, maybe to sell, maybe not. Ill be there for Christmas, and home by new years, fuuuck…
Once I leave Cali, I can open carry, which I will.
Oh, how I laughed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LWQ4Rxmboc
Getting ready for the snow….
Mittens with a connecting string?
Nah, he’s putting the bald tires on the car and forgetting how to drive.
Proper snow here for the first time in years.
Have a happy day, all you Glibs!

Don’t tell me what you do.
😠
Good morning, Sean, U, Ted’S., and Derpy!
Morning.
How are things with you?
Snowy. I don’t think it’s bad enough for the CU to close, but I’m worried about our being delayed because I realized I didn’t think to add yesterday’s new hire to our call list, and I’m having trouble connecting to our work network remotely because I can’t remember our new home wifi password. 🤦♀️
😲
You really should keep track of your own passwords.
Does 🐱👤 or 😺 know the password?
Probably, but they’re not telling. 😒😸🐱👤
😖
I think the password is “Podesta”.
Morning. Not terrible in terms of snow, but twice the predicted amount.
Got probably 5″ off the 1-2″ prediction. Dug wife’s car a path out to the street, I convinced my Cali based boss its snowmagedden
Have you tried 1234?
That sounds like the combination an idiot puts on his luggage.
Luckily, Tech Support got up to go to the bathroom, so I got connected to our work network, but only a small part of my little corner of the network is available. Oh, well – time to get ready to slog through the slush.
How is 🎸 today?
Remind me to change the combination on my luggage.
It’s cold and rainy but not bad enough to close or delay schools.
GM 🙂
“A New Jersey cop who went on a destructive rampage at her ex-boyfriend’s home and attacked him and his new girlfriend is barred for life from ever working in law enforcement in the Garden State.
Ex-Toms River Police Officer Rebecca Sayegh, 32, pleaded guilty to burglary, criminal mischief and simple assault on Nov. 17, after breaking into her ex’s Berkeley house in April, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced….
After police finally restrained her, she threatened to burn down her ex-boyfriend’s house as they walked her down the driveway, NJ.com reported.”

She seems nice.
“Despite the arrest, Sayegh was released from the Ocean County Jail under New Jersey’s bail reform system.”
Of course.
How much prison time did she get?
None so far.
“Prosecutors are seeking that she serve 180 days in the Ocean County Jail as a condition of her probation, that she have no contact with the victims, and that she pay restitution, according to prosecutors.”
“Sayegh’s guilty plea comes after she filed a lawsuit against the department and township last year, claiming former Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little and other superiors within the department sexually harassed her and denied her promotions because of her gender.”
I’m sure there weren’t any other reasons.
Not hot enough to be that crazy.
My thoughts exactly.
“ONLY COPS SHOULD HAVE GUNS!!!11!!!”
So the 6 senators are getting their ‘mission accomplished’ articles…
https://thehill.com/policy/defense/5628685-service-members-boat-strikes-orders-hegseth/
The only “mission” they have is getting more Democrats elected.
““President Trump and Secretary Hegseth have made it clear that presidentially designated narcoterrorist groups are subject to lethal targeting in accordance with the laws of war,” Leavitt told reporters on Monday. “With respect to the strikes in question on Sept. 2, Secretary Hegseth authorized Adm. Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes.””

He should be droning Americans in wedding parties.
Of course, everybody has it wrong. The actual language is “manifestly illegal”, not merely illegal. And it means an order that nobody would think was legal. The example given is the order to carry out the My Lai massacre, which some of the troops actually did refuse. There is nothing in view coming from the administration that comes close to that standard.
“A high school teacher in Australia repeatedly had sex with a 15-year-old student before trying to persuade him to lie to cops, she confessed Thursday — eight weeks after giving birth.
Karly Rae, 37, appeared in court last week with her newborn in tow to plead guilty to multiple child sex crimes, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported.
It’s not clear who the baby’s father is. Speaking softly, Rae said she had sex with the underage boy in October 2024, the same month she was arrested for her crimes, in various locations in the city of Newcastle, New South Wales, where she worked.”
https://nypost.com/2025/11/30/world-news/teacher-karly-rae-admits-to-sex-with-student-15/
I have a guess who the father is.
And if Australia is anything like the US, the kid will be on the hook for child support for at least the next 18 years.
Morning! I love the first snow panic of the season. The new Pirellis are working great. Pity they’re so goddamn expensive.
Gonna do some olde-school chemistry today. Kludging together apparatus to make a still, aliquoting fractions to generate a phase change diagram. It’s like it’s 1985 all over again!
