Donald is officially the only Presidential candidate to ever work at McDonald’s. McDonald’s confirmed it. Also, recently Trump gave some kind of speech at some kind of official McDonald’s function and said they should put double the tartar sauce on the Filet-O-Fish, probably the only thing I agree with him on. Also, why the hell is there “cheese” on it?

Slow night!
https://www.yesigiveafig.com/p/part-1-my-life-is-a-lie
I can pick on lots of this, car costs, location using NJ etc. But the points he raises are being ignored.
https://www.yesigiveafig.com/p/part-2-the-door-has-opened
Part 2 he comes to terms that, yeah fucking Essex County, NJ was a bad choice.
MuH trains! “public transit withered under government neglect.”
He enraged AEI too, that always makes me smile.
I made it to here “To function today—to factor authenticate your bank account, to answer work emails, to check your child’s school portal (which is now digital-only)—you need a smartphone plan and home broadband”
This guy is a retard.
Guy must live in a pencil
Pushing bubble.
You don’t need a smartphone, but you need some device and internet access.
Most people if given a single choice would pick the phone as it kills two birds.
$200 device $50/month? Two to three year useful life on something that inexpensive.
It wouldn’t have been possible for me to get my gig, or the new one I’ve been looking for, without reliable, quick internet. A phone is by far the cheapest way to get that.
The QRification must be fought. Ditto with “Paperless,” frankly. We’re proudly building our own Library of Alexia and every nation is looking at ’em as the new nuclear weapon. Or new form. A nuclear EMP of some sort?
I’d rather that history not rhyme in my lifetime. That’d be pretty nice.
I can’t enter my apartment building without a smartphone.
I have actually had issues a couple times this year but eventually the stupid app started working again. The managers have not offered the keycard that is supposedly an option but I’m not staying here much longer so I’m not giving much of a shit at this point.
Jobs that don’t take physical job applications and in person interviews have been a symptom of the internet.
Ot seems to allow for gaming the application process with buzzwords that the computer system triaging the applications likes. Since unemployment often requires you to look for a job the grift is to fill out a bunch of online applications and never take the calls that may come from them. When I was looking to hire I got hit with a bunch of those from as far away as Texas.
You want a job working with me, send me your resume and show up for an in person interview.
The internet has not
Made it better for those seeking to hire. It’s made it a living for the people running the hiring process but has had a negative impact on the potential employee and certainly the employer.
WTF Rhy?!
You need an app to get into your apartment?!
Yup, since earlier this year.
It’s bananas. Includes all sorts of “features” for visitors. Thankfully I don’t get any so I don’t need to deal with that bullshit.
It’s 90% college students here so they probably love it.
$200 device $50/month? Two to three year useful life on something that inexpensive.
Can’t tell if that’s a declarative statement, but I’ll offer a counter example if so. Phone was $100, I spend ~$35/month for two lines, I’ve had the same phone for at least 6 years. It functions for what I use it for. But I do very little on it; essentially nothing that ‘normal’ people seem to find to be critical/indispensable to living life.
He’s dead right about childcare.
What he’s missing is that government is the problem, you send your kids to government schools and
Your wife can get a job. She gets a job and has to
Spend more on the kids
And gets bumped into a higher tax
Bracket.
Who benefits?
Government employees, teachers and the tax man.
He’s also on point on fucking healthcare costs.
It’s 50% why I’m still working.
And since you gave your kids to the state they are going to tax you and your neighbors more to indoctrinate your kids.
Healthcare.
Also a problem created by the government.
Thanks FDR
!40K is a lot of money, $70 an hour.
A lot of that money goes to taxes of all sorts. Saw today the deficit for ’25 is $2T. Of course, it’s all Biden’s fault. Trump needs a bigger, badder Bill with lots more tariffs to make up that short fall.
OTOH. it costs very little to add a zero onto each green piece of paper.
I ain’t watchin’ no Trump tonight, I can’t afford a new TV.
I have no desire to watch either.
Don’t discount your VA care albeit with the issues.
I don’t use VA but Tricare is essentially the same and includes the missus.
Yep. I wouldn’t like to go back to making $40,000 but not much would change other than I’d have to stop buying stupid stuff.
Whale Psychology?
What does John McAffee have to say about it?
I decided to try out my newest boating accidents and found a range not ten minutes away, sweet for in the midst of a city. Waivers signed and Ill be there Friday morning, the issue is ammo.
I have a limited amout that Im willing to spare and getting more in CA is a nightmare. My house in OK will help, but thats not til next year,
Yeah. It wicks there for ammo. How about reloading? Any easier? Most of my CA friends do that.
Wicks=sucks
I hate autocorrect.
Reloading materials are subject to CAs bullshit as well.
I can buy in Ok and import legally just no sales.
/ fuck the illegal term cali uses for a second amendment right
Next year is 2 weeks away.
Indoor range?
Indoor yes, my pistols are pricey to shoot and my shotguns, well lets say most of my shot isnt amenable to indoor shooting
When I go home to Ok. I can buy something more Ca approved so as to save my larger SD rounds
I’ve never had the Filet, but McDonalds was my first job. Worked for Mr. White, who once coached David Justice. I was just 14, I think, at the time and I don’t remember too much, frankly. I do remember the drive-thru was by far the most difficult duty. Those radios were tricky. I wasn’t old enough to prepare food. The fry-makers had to be a certain age, or something else cuz the oil dangers, as well.
Good summer gig, in its own way.
Now there is probably nobody under 70 doing those jobs.
Same at Walmart (except for Evan) and other large stores. A lot of seniors, not so many kids.
There are three McDonald’s in my area owned by the same franchise. Split between late 20 something’s and teens. The maintenance crew is a group of guys in their late 50s early 60s. Management is in their 40s now.
Yeah, I exaggerate. There is a mix. But notably, since my college career as a supermarket cashier, there are way more seniors doing those sorts of jobs.
I’ve started my ‘The People of Walgo’ sub. The branches of Walmart worker: Elderly, Hispanic (some Indian); African-Africans in back; disabled; college-age kids summer or first job. There’s much overlap, for sure.
Pretty good mix of all three, with Hispanics the biggest. The drivers are especially Hispanic. If we did the CDL “must speak English” rule, well. That’d be bad for the Waltons (but not game-ending).
I blame ‘child’ labor laws.
Bach when I was in high school one summer I went around town and filled out 36 job applications. Never got a call back. Followed up on almost every application. Got zero interviews. Even in the 90s it seems that no one wanted to hire a 16 year old because he was limited as to the hours he could work because of some stupid law.
I’m noticing it too Rhy. I don’t know how the younger set is affording to live as it seems that not enough of them are working. The local farm and garden store has a pretty large percentage of 20 something’s working there. We have a bullet factory or three and they employ quite a few fresh out of high school folks.
I notice the guys in their 60 holding down the floor at Home Depot, and grandma in her late 60s at the register in Walmart.
The seniors who supplanted the teenagers have been ousted by the Hispanics around here.
Im doing peanuts again for Christmas and the boss asked for Schroeder, so here he is, almost finished
https://www.glibertarians.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/20251217_180227-scaled.jpg
Looking good.
Ill post a picture when its finished in a day or so,
The whole scene I mean
There is? I have never had one.
That is horrifyingly wrong.
It’s not treyf…
Mercy… I cannot imagine having to suffer under those (((rules))) for eating.
No, it’s horrifying because cheese and fish ain’t right.
lol Local teachers just won “an average 7% salary increase for 2025 to 2026, followed by a 7% increase then a 6 % increase in the following two school years.”
I haven’t seen raises like that in 20 years.
Same.
I was pretty dang content with my 2.4% this year.
Teachers have an average salary of $72k. It is grossly inflated in the blue states.
When it comes to teacher’s pay, they just always want it higher. They argue that higher pay produces better results by supposedly attracting better candidates ignoring the fact that you’re also rewarding the mediocrity that currently have the degrees and entered teaching. They fight like hell against any incentive based pay by arguing that it’s unfair because so many other factors besides the ability of teacher impact student’s performance.
People are inundated with propaganda about how teacher’s are poorly paid. Polls find that in a vacuum people make this statement, but the number who agree with it declines when they actually realize what teachers in their area are actually making.
Research does not find any neat correlation between teacher pay and student success. And it’s kind of a self-licking ice cream cone as teacher’s are paid more in districts that have the advantages already.
More recent research has claimed a more clear relationship between student success and teacher pay compared to older research. Conclude from that what you will…it still isn’t a clear relationship and it’s very hard to actually control for all the factors that influence student success.
They don’t need to “argue” anything since they are not bargaining in good faith.
They run every city council. They get what they demand. What are you gonna do about it?
Even more amusingly, NYC is running full speed ahead with further class size reductions which of course have nothing to do with anything other than “hiring more teachers”. They will bankrupt the city and gee, they don’t seem to give a shit.
Rhy the incestuous relationship between school boards and teachers and their unions should be well known. They are a taxing district unto themselves typically. Like the stupid library district I’m forced to pay, the only way to get rid of it is to get a super majority of the board to vote for it and then it can come back like a bad penny on a simple majority vote.
Rhy – that’s how it works in blue states or where there are teacher’s unions, yes.
It works the same way here in Idaho Bro, hey keep shoveling increases to ed at the state level every year that approaches a hundred million. On the local level nearly every bond and levy passes, off season elections of course and with a 60% majority of the ballots cast, if they went to a 66% majority of registered voters it would get fixed. Out of a school district population of 33-34,000 they will pass a levy with fewer than 2500 people voting. I have wondered what percentage of those voting are teachers and their families and city employees.
That should make all the senior citizens happy: it’s only 2.5 times what they got in their social security checks for next year.
My wife just got a surprise car repair bill that doubly wiped out her entire s.s. increase for 2026. Don’t get me started on how many millions we’d be worth if all those years of employer and employee “contributions” to s.s. had been allowed to be placed into an S&P 500 fund.
KEEP YOUR GOVERNMENT HANDS OFF MY SOCIAL SECURITY!!1112;Q1/21
Yea if the money was in personal accounts invested in the private sector the government couldn’t raid it or “loan” it to itself to pay for other goodies.
…and had you invested it there would be an inheritance in the event you didn’t use it all.
It truly should be re-named as a Ponzi scheme
I had a professor in college who adamantly denied that SS was any sort of ponzi scheme. Made us read some bullshit on how SS was supposedly always going insolvent but fixes were found. Because they don’t technically lie to you (even if most people have no idea how it actually works – I had some boomer broad recently argue that she thought her money was just sitting there waiting for her to collect it as if it hasn’t been spent as it came in). Ignorance – it’s not just a Gen Z thing.
There’s one big pot, you see. And people will always be paying into it (because they are forced to).
Why, listen to this person explain why it’s still grand that Millennials will only get 75-80% of the “promised” benefits!
I’m fairly certain, though I’m no policy wonk, that this makes little fucking sense. Particularly with inflation finally ramping up after decades of shitty monetary and fiscal policies. The social security recipient is going to be relatively poorer in that economy than they are today regardless. And not all costs have decreased relative to pay to include the most basic thing you need – housing.
And the economy “may still” collapse or the country “may still” fall to one invasion or another.
By contrast, my collage finance prof was adamant that SS would be busted by the time we retired and we should plan assuming it won’t exist.
It was good advice.
I’ll circle back to that Vanity Fair article yesterday. It lauded Reagan’s Chief Of Staff because he convinced him not to touch the system calling it the “third rail” of politics. Fuck the reality that reforming it isn’t actually an option. Real wisdom is in prioritizing today over tomorrow in politics.
Have I told you all how much I despise the concept of democracy? The 19th amendment was a mistake, but the steady expansion of voting rights dating back to early days of the Republic were just as shitty.
Let me guess. Enrollment is down?
That ranking likely counts money spent per student as a positive instead of inversly proportional to outcome. They rank on teacher to student ratio as well. I’ve looked at the NEA school ranking criteria and it’s pathetic.
I’d rather enjoy govt schools not ‘graduating’ *more* illiterates. That’d please me.
Even pre-Incident, my girlfriends and I were sincere about not having children. I love that the biggest chunk of my money taken out every paycheck, after $SS I’ll never see, is to pay for other people’s kids to be poorly educated.
So choose to have a kid and the State will pay ya, and if ya don’t you’re still forced to for them. Uh. Huh. Might say that rankles me.
Evan that pisses off my seven year old. He was incensed that we had to pay property taxes for a school he dosent go to. I didn’t tell him that more than half of the sales tax and the income tax I pay the state goes for it as well.
I could build him and his sister a 500 square foot school house with three or four years of that money.
My kids talk about “the octopus that raises prices” all the time. Thanks Tuttle Twins!
It actually blew their minds when we read that particular Tuttle twins book about the fed, and I showed them where it said “federal reserve note” on a real dollar bill. “Whoa, the fed is real?!?”
I had a 10% bump and now a school referendum has passed that will add a bunch for next year.
The only difference between local and fed is the amount they want to spend. I checked Great Schools. Even as the high school
is rated 7/10 the skills levels for reading, math and science are all below the 50 percentile. Need more money
I dont pay my wife a dime and somehow our seven year old is reading at a third grade level.
NYC teacher gets punched in the face after sitting down next to a man who was “manspreading.” Guess the demographics.
This is a rare instance where other passengers actually assisted and stopped the violence. So there’s that.
I don’t want to blame the victim for the behavior of the piece of shit in question, but there’s a level of naivety involved here at best. Be aware of your surroundings and what sort of people you are interacting with. She was better off standing than sitting down next to this guy.
Saw that earlier and yes, that was my first thought.
I thought the same about the poor girl who sat in front of the murderer on a train in NC (I think it was?). I hate that that is what it is, but… that is what it is. Survival instinct kicks in if you have lived in a large city long enough.
Yea I had those thoughts about the Ukrainian girl myself. People can call it what you want. If you aren’t profiling the people around you either out of ignorance or self-righteous stupidity, you are doing yourself a disservice. That was a particularly brutal and less common example, but real nonetheless.
It should kick in from simply observing this kind of crap from afar.
Saw it every day when I lived in NYC for 25 years. Everyone performs those calculations but does not dare talk about it.
The Fighting Blue Hens, of my (sort of) alma mater, are playing football on national TV.
Two 6 and 6 teams playing each other would be solid evidence that there are too many “bowl” games.
I have been amused the few times I caught my alma mater on national television. The Buffalo Bulls are lucky to pull in a few hundred fans. The contrast with the more, ah, successful programs is rather stark.
The ridiculous sponsor names tell me there are too many bowl games.
Minor League Football is dumb and is stupid. A bullshit mix of the NFL pipeline and ‘academics,’ and no one really cares cuz they love their Minor League Football team. The money is ignored cuz women playing ball don’t make nearly as much as they should. Or something.
I’m torn on Trump’s tariffs. The complete inability we have to build shit here isn’t just about the blue collar jobs. It’s a genuine national security issue, maybe the greatest we face. We aren’t winning a real war with China when we’re going to be out of bullets within the first month (I don’t know the actual timeline). Part of the issue is that our massive military budget is completely misused and serves more to provide graft than to win the next war. And then there’s just the basic reality that a dollar spent here accomplishes a whole lot less than it does in China where they aren’t worried about shit like environmental assessments and bureaucratic red tape. Yes, our government in many respects is less efficient than commie-lite China’s. So when people cite how much more we spend than everyone else, it may hold true when comparing us to light weights in Europe, but it means significantly less when we really have to compare spending to China. Circling back to graft, we’re more concerned with spending our money on high-tech assets like carriers that costs billions while China just buys cheap hypersonic missiles as counters that wouldn’t even be rounding errors in our military programs.
But the reality is that this is a trend based on policies that go back generations now. Trump isn’t fixing it in 4 years. Even if he had had 8 uninterrupted years I don’t know if he would have been able to do so. This sort of shift needs long term planning and the ability to endure short to even long term pain that will be pushed off onto middle and lower class consumers. We can only have a true shift in the economy if you can somehow convince tens of millions of Americans to pursue the long term interests of the country over paying their bills that month. That aint gonna happen.
He’s losing the propaganda war badly. The metrics thus far aren’t positives for the administration and most of the pledged investment he claims, beyond just being grossly inflated, are empty promises that will never result in anything. It’s the private sector telling the administration what it wants to hear but knowing that they just have to wait him out. The Democrats likely regain power and reverse course because all this shit is going to result in stagnation at best in the short term.
And then you have the fact that Trump is trying to bring back the economy of the past. He’s not really about the economy of the future outside giving into the tech bro’s desires to foist AI on all of us. What the hell does the future of manufacturing even look like? I know one thing – it isn’t thousands of American workers putting little screws into Iphones.
Trump is attempting to win a battle and losing it while also fucking up any hope of fixing anything long term. The border will be opened back up at some point, particularly when Americans are inundated with sob stories about illegals not to mention the fuck-ups where they actually screw with US citizens. Everything he’s doing is going to be tainted by his failed economy. He’s not going to bring down prices through tariff wars.
Maybe someone else has a different view and can convince me of the wisdom of all this. But I don’t see it. Republicans are going to get trounced in 2026 despite the Dems being batshit crazy nitwits. They probably take the White House back in 2028. And any good that came out of his election will be cast aside because it’s all tainted by his inability to fix the thing Americans care about most right now – affordability.
Bullets won’t be the problem.
Artillery will be and the couple of factories that make the shells will be sabotaged and drone bombed so quickly it won’t be funny.
Military spending is dumb. What I saw when in was that it was a huge welfare program. Most of the people in should have been flipping burgers or selling crack as a civilian. The army is massively overstaffed. Housing food medical for all the dependents could be avoided if the vast majority were reserve or guard. I suspect it’s the same for every branch.
I don’t believe the military is learning a damn thing from Syria and Ukraine.
It’s drones. Drones and drones.
We’ll build them. At twenty times the cost and half the capabilities of the home brew and off the shelf stuff that’s being used there now.
Will China have enough fighting aged men if there is a war? Will they need them? Probably not to either. I suspect they will let the Islamic world flood us and Europe and then deal with that problem later.
I’m less worried about war and more worried about debt slavery and civilization ending self sabotage by immigration.
We cannot stay on this path where we export all of the value creation (or import visa slaves to undercut American labor) and retain only the red tape navigation as our part of the economic chain.
I don’t know the details of the macroeconomics, but I’m highly interested in the status of the dollar as global reserve currency and how it has impacted labor competitiveness.
Real problems, but whether libertarians (or libertarian-adjacent types) like it or not, China has set a real deadline to be able to retake Taiwan. And you may say that Taiwan isn’t worth defending, but I’d argue that the house of cards the US has built as the global super power and the place our economy holds largely depends on us being able to stop that. How much of our way of life and current government depends on the US being the reserve currency of the world? A war over Taiwan, losing Taiwan, could very well set off the chain of events that ends the dollar’s dominance.
But I’m just a crackpot on the internet at the end of the day.
It’s not just the rates. It’s bullshit like ending de minimis and requiring import paperwork for a purchase on Etsy from Canada or requiring FDA pre approval for grandma’s cookies from the old country. The regulatory/total awareness state loves it. The big retailers love it. The mega importers love it. The companies not having to compete with products not generally sold here love it.
Trump is only briefly slowing down the inevitable collapse.
IF we didn’t have a Left actively and successfully working in China’s and others’ interest in destroying the US, we might stand a chance. As it stands, we’re toast. Just like the rest of the West.
Oh well.
Sadly I believe you are correct.
All the flowery stuff about freedom and free markets was great when we actually believed it and when we didn’t have any serious competition that was completely opposed to those things. I don’t know how come back from that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Facebook inundates me with the Gender Wars posts. This one was actually semi-interesting for a few seconds rather than just some dumb broad trying to rage-bait for engagement by saying something completely retarded:
I say semi-interesting because we are just coming out of the MeToo movement where women weaponized accusations of sexual harassment and levied accusations of rape when many of their own willingly slept their way to the top.
Feminists have constructed arguments to help women evade accountability for anything and everything. Not good ones most of the time. Not ones that most people accept in their every day lives. But arguments that they will shriek at you with complete conviction regardless.
The men in these situations very often face worse consequences than the women. We just saw that play out with the Michigan head coach. The man is guaranteed to lose his job and become a pariah when caught. Women very often times concoct elaborate stories to explain why they weren’t willing participants in sucking that dick. There are feminist “intellectuals” who will proudly tell you that a women simply cannot consent at all when there is a power differential so the man is always 100% at fault.
Only a 1/2 slice of cheese for a Filet o Fish. And a steamed not toasted bun.
Morning, Glibs.
Did you wake up early or not sleep all night?
Yes.
Whichever makes you happy, Ted, go ahead and run with that.
Good morning, U, Ted’S., Bro, Sean, and homey!
How goes?
Pretty well, thanks. Got payroll all straightened out yesterday, so my goal for the rest of the week is to prod all the about-to-be-eligible employees to get their 401(k) accounts open so they can start getting the required employer contributions with the first pay in January (which, of course, falls on the 2nd.)
How about you?
You’re one of the good ones, Gender Traitor. When I implement my Final Solution for women after the robot wombs come online, you will be spared.
Ummm…thanks?
I suppose I’m alright.
I would like to get back to writing stuff, but sometimes the words just don’t come.
The words will appear. In the meantime, it can’t hurt to make sure you’re getting enough rest (ideally, on a schedule that works for you.)
I still have some Xmas shopping to do. Mornin’ you wild and crazy people.

This broad is actually starting to make my sympathetic to the middle aged football coach having an affair on his wife with his assistant who he got some cushy nearly-6-figure-salary bullshit job who proceeded to wig the fuck out and threaten to murder-suicide her.
If your first call in this situation is to your fucking lawyer and THEY are the ones who have to call 911 you are either completely fucking retarded or completely fucking manipulative.
This stinks of PR bullshit. There’s no specifics as to what the abuse entailed, but the lawyers know damn well that the accusation itself will be a headline that will make the client seem like a sympathetic figure to the easily duped.
I’m also tired of hearing about the supposed psychology of abused women; particularly from the feminist crowd who don’t know jack shit about abusive relationships outside what they saw on some Lifetime movie and read on Slate. If you are a women in an abusive relationship, even one with your boss that you never should have started, LEAVE THE FUCKING RELATIONSHIP. It didn’t take you two fucking years to realize you had him by the balls and could ruin his life with a simple word to his bosses and that your own job would be protected because you are the member of a protected class that just happens to make up 50% of the human population.
You know what I tell some guy who is in an awful relationship with a selfish, childish, narcissistic woman making his life miserable? FUCKING LEAVE. I can’t stand when people bitch about the person they are in a willing relationship with period. I get it when you are married and divorce is going to cost you half your shit (though usually there were plenty of signs of that before you married), but bitching incessantly about the person you choose to be with is a real poor reflection on you. It’s not the victim card that many seem to think it is.
There’s a whole lot of aspects of the psychology of abused women that feminists and modern academics don’t want to admit. That’s my two cents as a crackpot on the internet.
Bro, OUT.
Yes, I was up all night shit posting in response to feminists online saying retardedly inflammatory things out of boredom. My misogyny and misanthrope levels are through the roof right now.
So no different from any other day.
Not following the case, nor do I intend to.
Re leaving: not that easy, especially for women.
Re kvetching: people often change after marriage or even after a year.
I’m not interested in simplistic clichés from someone with his unreasonable partner’s unruly dog’s leash wrapped around his testes.
I don’t want to assume your arguments so I’ll simply ask why it isn’t that simple with the caveat that I don’t want to hear about manipulation or emotions beyond fear? Retribution from angry men I get as an excuse particularly when I just linked to the story of the above about the guy threatening to murder-suicide the woman and himself. When I start hearing talk about how they grow attached to their abusers or are manipulated (which is hardly exclusive to women), then we’re talking about personal responsibility at some point. Financial constraints? Most women aren’t stay at home Mom’s at this point. But I’d rather the specifics of what you believe on the subject before I go off the deep end in response.
And I allowed for that reality:
(though usually there were plenty of signs of that before you married)
The caveat there is usually. That may exclude more relationships than you would, but I admit for the possibility. People do hide who they are and yea abusive people can be good at that. There’s no shortage of stories of people who feel like their spouse changed right after they had the ceremony.
Leave Butters out of this! That’s my little guy right there.
And these criticisms I’m leveling apply to both genders. But yea I get tired of hearing people complain about how awful their spouses that they willingly decided to marry and willingly decide to stay with are. And it usually goes beyond the typical griping that everyone does about one another.
If you talk about your husband as if they are a useless child who does nothing to make your life better (this is the royal you here) and you think he’s a piece of shit who doesn’t value what you do, then why are you wasting your time with him? I’m talking about people who complain about their partner in the sense that they make clear they don’t actually respect them let alone have genuine attraction left.
Social media is littered with these posts from people farming for victimhood status when these are ultimately relationships they choose to be in with the modern world.
Abuse is the most extreme example, but hardly the only one.
Final point, because I’m not looking to talk into the void endlessly. Despite what I’m bitching about in the above, I do believe in staying together for the sake of children. The exclusions to that obviously be when the situation is clearly abusive. Extreme verbal abuse directed at the woman or the children, and then obviously physical abuse.
But then so much gets passed off as abuse these days that really isn’t.
And to put a bow on this, a lot of people never try to work on themselves or see what role their own unrealistic expectations play in their own unhappiness.
Mostly in agreement, although I’d add one of the things driving people like Bro is the propaganda drip from the elites of how the woman is basically never wrong and all men are evil. Look at the reaction to the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial.
For a less controversial/contentious example of the same phenomenon, look at the treatment of tenants as always victims of rapacious landlords who can never be good, while all of us know reality is different. See Rhywun’s comments about the druggies in the building across the street from him, or mention the words “Section 8”.
Fair enough: I was thinking only the same, about both sexes and preferences.
Maybe get off SM?
That “mostly in agreement” was with Toxteth. Bro’s walls of text dropped while I was composing my own.
Maybe get off SM?
And get on BD?
/ducking
Wasn’t following the Depp trial either, but it sounded like he came off better.
If your first call in this situation is to your fucking lawyer and THEY are the ones who have to call 911 you are either completely fucking retarded or completely fucking manipulative
Embrace the power of “and”.
More seriously, I was amazed when the “grab them by the pussy” recording came out in 2016 and I heard practically nobody use the word “groupies”. Everyone knows about sports and rock music groupies, and sees pretty young women on yachts, but nobody puts two and two together.
suh’ fam
whats goody
There’s some shit getting thrown around on social media about the Brown shooting. Laura Loomer is saying the shooter shouted a Jihadist phrase before the shooting. Brown supposedly removed this Palestinian born student teacher’s profile from their site. While having no idea if this is the guy, physically he looks like he could be.
Some people are claiming that the shooter entered the room and seemed to target a student who was one of the few young openly conservative students on campus and who ran a young Republican group of some kind.
The thing that no one comments on with regards to this story is you had this asshole walking around the campus for an extended period of time (hours?) with a mask on and no one batted an eye. The residual effects of covid hysteria/theater…
It’s rather strange that they have no idea who the shooter was or what motivated him, but they aren’t locking down. They’re telling everyone no reason to panic and go about their day with classes resuming.
This may explain why no recordings:

They’re definitely sitting on something.
No comments from anyone in that classroom? The very slow drip of grainy video? OK, then.
Oooh. Late to work but no one minds. (Just my money)
Be well, Glibbies.
Of course the Australian government is going to introduce new gun legislation.
What Australia needs is common sense Muslim control.
Change my mind.
Also introducing more “hate speech” [sic] laws.

Why don’t they just make murdering Jews illegal? Certainly that would solve the problem.
Ridiculous and predictable.
ORLY? I’ll believe that when I see it applied in a way that actually matters.
Morning! Looks like it will be an 80 degree F Christmas here in Texas.
