ZARDOZ SPEAKS TO YOU, HIS CHOSEN ONES. IT HAS BEEN SOME TIME SINCE ZARDOZ ADDRESSED YOU. LET US GO OVER THE RULES QUICKLY, THE PENIS IS EVIL,

IT SHOOTS SEEDS THAT BRING NEW LIFE, BRUTALS THAT PLAGUE THE EARTH AS IN DAYS OF OLD.

THE GUN IS GOOD! IT SHOOTS DEATH, AND CLEANSES THE WORLD OF THE FILTH OF BRUTALS.
RIGHT. NOW THAT THE RULES HAVE BEEN REESTABLISHED, ZARDOZ WILL PROVIDE ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE, MUCH BETTER GUIDANCE THAT THE BRUTAL DEAR ABBY. RECIEVE THE GIFT OF ADVICE!
BEHOLD, THIS SITUATION;
Q: I have an acquaintance, “Tina,” who I believe is fraudulently using her GoFundMe fundraising webpage. A close friend of hers set it up a few years ago to assist with medical bills related to a rare form of cancer that will never fully go away. When the page began, Tina was soliciting donations on Facebook and sending text messages to remind everyone to donate. Later on, when she and her husband went out of town for surgery, they posted about it as if it were a vacation.
Recently, she has had some legal bills for an unrelated matter, and a year after her last medical donation, she received a hefty donation that matched the amount of her legal bills. I suspect the person who donated the money was duped into believing Tina had another large medical bill, but she used that donation for her legal expenses.
On top of this, Tina has opened a new fundraising page with a sob story about her cancer returning and being hospitalized about a week before that request. Abby, I know full well Tina was healthy as an ox at the time, was not in the hospital and probably set this up to create a smokescreen to protect her malicious intentions. Now I keep wondering if I should report it, or if I’m better off minding my own business. — NOT ADDING UP IN FLORIDA
A: WERE THIS ANY SIMPLER, ZARDOZ WOULD SUSPECT THIS WAS A LEVEL 1 CHECK OF HIS LOGIC CIRCUITS. OF COURSE SHE IS RIPPING ALL OF YOU GULLIBLE BRUTALS OFF. BUT, SHE WILL BE ABLE TO PAY EVERYONE BACK, WHEN SHE IS SENT TO THE FIELDS OF THE VORTEX AS A GRAIN SLAVE.

ZARDOZ HAS SPOKEN.

HAIL ZARDOZ.
I know he provides transport, but you can’t hail him like a taxi.
HALE ZARDOZ.
I like my ZARDOZ’s healthy.
A little later tonight will be HAIL FROM ZARDOZ so I am battening down the hatches.
ZARDOZ IS PLEASED.
What an odd turn of phrase, RJ.
I’m sure you meant that ZARDOZ will be throwing the gift of the gun; many many guns, at you and your general location.
He will be throwing the gift of hail. Thankfully it is only hail the size of a wheatback penny. 8 could have been blessed with hail the size of Hulk Hands.
https://a.co/d/08ScLsBC
Maybe you’ll find this funny:. as a kid reading Hulk comic books, I thought the Hulk was saying, “Hulk smash punny human.”
Took me some time to catch on.
Don’t tell Swiss. I don’t want him get any ideas.
If the cancer will never go fully away, she’s not “healthy as an ox”.
Of course, Zardoz likes oxen as they’re castrated.
As long as they’re steered the right way.
Keep writing like that, and ZARDOZ will be annoyed.
Trust me, you don’t want to have a beef with him. He’ll sic STEVE SMITH on you, leave you feeling all hollow inside.
*narrows gaze*
ZARDOZ SUMMONS THE CHEESE ONE TO NARROW HIS GAZE.
I literally had no idea that oxen are castrated bulls until I wikipedia’ed this comment. I just thought it was another species.

The Tina account must be cleansed. I’ll take care of the munniez. Tina won’t need it in the grain fields.
I am not a doctor but it seems to me that most cancers don’t “go away”.
This is the wise choice about 99% of the time.
On top of this, Tina has opened a new fundraising page with a sob story about her cancer returning and being hospitalized about a week before that request. Abby, I know full well Tina was healthy as an ox at the time, was not in the hospital and probably set this up to create a smokescreen to protect her malicious intentions.
Where have I heard this before?
Does Tina have a newsletter I can subscribe to.?

This sounds oddly familiar.
ZARDOZ KNOWS OF WHOM YOU SPEAK…
Hey! That is a real disease I have!
Sexlexia is no laughing matter.
Sounds like a braless au pair might help to scratch the itch.
Take one at bedtime and then as needed.
Dr. Fourscore remains the best doctor.
My wife, however, may want a second opinion.
She wants to play nurse?
+2 Heidi Lenhart
Mmhm.
Hah!
It’s much like Jon Lovitz on Seinfeld, where he “never really had cancer” but didn’t tell Costanza, who’s upset Jon’s moochin’ off all the ‘I’m so sorry for you!’s he gets. Including Jerry’s lifetime sub for a toupe or ‘hair treatment.’
Such petty, and here financial, nastiness. I’m glad I don’t have it in me, and I don’t understand how it exists in others. (Upbringing.) I’m glad I’m *aware* of it, however. People used to scamming are really good at it. So fucking friendly and persuasive. I never got took, but folk in Southeast Asia and anywhere impoverished are really good at ripping off foreigners, who feel just so damn guilty about how good they’ve got it.
I don’t blame either, really, but it’s revealing. AWFL sensibilities have been taken advantage of since before the written record.
A lot of the “upbringing” stuff doesn’t become really evident until much later and sometimes after the death of the parent(s) responsible, as in my case.
I wish I could thank my mom for instilling impeccable morals in me but alas it’s too late.

Yet here you are on glibertarians.com.
impeccable-ish
I can see that. Sorry about your mom, but good on her. I’ve gotten a few “I’m proud of you”s from Dad fairly recently and I thanked him for raising me right. (For all faults, tho nothing egregious. Other than the time we both almost got run over by a train on a bridge.) He’s 76, she’s 72. He’s just starting to feel his mortality and just started openly saying it. He’s still very fit for his age, but he’s not handling it too well, but he’s very reserved.
I suppose there I was talking a lot about growing up in poverty. The flavors are different, but poverty seems to imbue certain traits. ‘Get as much as you can get’ is one of them. Powerful biological motivation, there. (We’re so comfy. Unhealthy from too much everything.)
inorite?
Mom passed somewhat unexpectedly at 72. One day we were closer than in years where I was helping her with computer shit and she was sharing a new passion with old photo manipulation, and a week later *poof*.
I have some uncomfortable memories of bitching about how “poor” we were when, well, not really, all things considered.
One of the lessons was straightening my mind out on that matter.
Mmmm. That’s rough. Sorry.
Yikes. Sorry. That frightens me.
rhywun:
and a week later *poof*
Strange coming out story
When I was in Egypt, a Coptic hotel clerk taught me some Arabic. The phrase enta kazib (you liar) was particularly useful when dealing with cab drivers.
Meanwhile in not-so-Great Britain:
Children’s drawings could be blasphemous under Islamic law, schools warned
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/children-s-drawings-could-be-blasphemous-under-islamic-law-schools-warned/ar-AA1XVLdw
I remember this from years ago:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudanese_teddy_bear_blasphemy_case
***
The Sudanese teddy bear blasphemy case concerns the 2007 arrest, trial, conviction, imprisonment, and subsequent release of British schoolteacher Gillian Gibbons, who taught children of middle-class Muslim and Christian families at Unity High School in Khartoum, Sudan.[1] She was convicted of insulting Islam by allowing her class of six-year-olds to name a teddy bear “Muhammad”.[2]
***
[head desk]
I wrote a paper in Arabic at DLI about the great Sudanese penis shrinking panic of 2003. Let’s not go to Sudan; tis a silly place. Though their dialect of Arabic is the easiest to understand. They speak slowly and clearly. Also, many Sudanese speak Arabic as a second language.
RE a teddy bear named Mohamed:
***
On 30 November, approximately 10,000 protesters took to the streets in Khartoum,[15] some of them waving swords and machetes, demanding Gibbons’s execution after imams denounced her during Friday prayers. During the march, chants of “Shame, shame on the UK”, “No tolerance – execution” and “Kill her, kill her by firing squad” were heard. Witnesses reported that government employees were involved in inciting the protests.[16] Gibbons was then moved to a secret location because of fears for her safety.[17]
…
While the two British politicians were meeting the President on 3 December, it was announced that Gibbons was to be released from prison having been granted a presidential pardon. After eight days in prison, she was released into the care of the British embassy in Khartoum and then returned to Liverpool after issuing a written statement saying: “I have a great respect for the Islamic religion and would not knowingly offend anyone.”[18][19]

[kif sigh]
My name in high school French class was Mohamed (mo-ah-med) because silent h.
In DLI, my Arabic name was Mohanned (sharp sword). I guess the teachers liked me.

How does one say
in Arabic?
^^^ Ya see? Right there? That’s precisely why I didn’t even *know* teaching in Sudan could be a thing. Fuck. That.
I chose really well. I had to teach Koreans remotely in Korea during COVID (and learn how to get ’round their quarantine and curfews); I wonder how they adapted to that. I highly doubt there’s anything like the scene was when I started in 2010. With smart phones, I almost assuredly taught in Asia during the Golden Age of teaching abroad. In the safest places, too!, though I got explored pretty deep into it.
We saw the world in remarkably different ways. *fist bump, tho I know I don’t belong up in your echelon*
HA! That’s a fantastic John. “I explored pretty deep into [Asia and more].”
I did fuck a prostitute in Russia once, though. So there.
So if I buy a teddy bear for five dollars, name it Mohammed, and sell it for ten bucks, have I made a prophet?
I seer what ya did there.
“I have a great respect for the Islamic religion and would not knowingly offend anyone.”
I would have gone with “I respected the Islamic religion before its imams and followers showed themselves to be utter retards.”
Looking for an out. Canada is lost. It is no longer a viable option long-term. JFC, we’re only 50 and 2-3 years from retirement and it ain’t gonna work here. Suggestions?
No idea, dude. I’m 56 and my profession is getting retarded and for the first time in my career I’m actually pleased to be nearing retirement or at least willing to choose it ASAFP.
My country is getting retarded too but maybe not as fast as yours is.
Argentina is going in the right direction. Maybe emigrate their?
Or there. Whatever works for you.
I’d like to retire to Lusk WY, located in the least populated county of the least populated state. Interestingly, Canada is a top retirement destination.
Going the Andy Dufresne route in Mexico is another possibility:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zihuatanejo

Zihuatanejo was notably mentioned in the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption, in which the protagonist Andy Dufresne escapes from prison to Zihuatanejo, joined by his friend and fellow prisoner, Ellis Boyd “Red” Redding.

Kuss ummak means “your mom’s cunt” and is basically the equivalent of fuck you.
yaa enta kuss ghabi = oh you stupid cunt
My favorite insult I heard was Syrian tank commander calling another yaa ghabi min kul al-ughabaa (hey stupid of all stupids)
That seems mild for a TC…
Well, calling someone a son of whore or a dirty dog is big deal over there.
I saw a clip where some guy called another a son of a thousand dogs, which on interpret to mean a deep canine ancestry rather than an orgy.
Iraqi joke
A whore gets pregnant and goes to a doctor. The doctor asks if she has any idea who the father might be. The whore replies “when you eat hummus, do you know which bean made you fart?”
It’s good to see ZARDOZ is back. I really want him to run for governor of California. This state would be glorious.
Hrm. More Israel+US strikes around Tehran. Interesting bit:
AP- “Iran’s police chief Ahmad‑Reza Radan has warned Iranians that anyone who takes to the streets to protest “will be treated not as protesters but as enemies.
…
Last week, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the Iranian people should not protest while US and Israeli strikes in Iran are ongoing, but said there will “come a moment” when President Donald Trump or the Iranian people will determine “it’s the time to seize that advantage” and rise up against the government.”
Sorry, Neph.
Happy hump day!

Morning, Sean.
Good morning, Sean, Ted’S., U, hayek, Teh Hype, and Suthen!
How goes?
I have my annual med check-up this morning, which I assumed meant I should fast before they draw blood, so I can’t have my morning coffee until afterward. Luckily, it’s at 8:00 a.m. I could have coffee if I drank it black, but I adulterate it with cream and sweetener. Can’t stand it black. 😝
The good news is that after putting my atomic alarm clock in the kitchen window, which faces NW, it has changed to the correct local time. 😃👍
How are you?
Good luck, we’re all counting on you.
😜
More seriously, hope all goes well.
It’s difficult to wake up an hour earlier than normal, plus, I’ve had to switch sleeping positions to keep pressure off my shoulder. The combination has made for less than stellar sleep.
I could have coffee if I drank it black, but I adulterate it with cream and sweetener. Can’t stand it black.
Does not compute. 😛
Nah. I have my blood tested all the time and they have never said don’t eat or drink.
Hey there, brutal!
I am once again awake unfortunately. This chronic pain is the pits.
Saw a physiatrist today. He prescribed Buprenorphine. That has some sort of legal procedure to ensure I’m not abusing drugs. So it will be a while until I get the stuff in my hand.
Anyone have experience using this Buprenorphine?
I’m afraid I’ve never heard of it.
Seems like a strange thing to be afraid of.
You learned English from an AI, didn’t you?
Good morning ‘Splosives.
My advice, for what it is worth:
I have severe RA. Chronic pain and I are old friends. I was offered any pain killer I wanted. I refused them all. I had seen people go down that road before. Some people manage it ok for temporary conditions. Good for them. I wasn’t and wont go down that road because it is potentially the road to hell. There are all kinds of legal entanglements and a very high risk of addiction. Once you are hooked they try to take you off of it and many people turn to the damned street.
I dont know what your condition is. Is there any hope of any other means of managing the pain? Getting at the underlying condition?
Basically I just toughed it out until they got me on an effective non-narcotic treatment that is so far working well and I cant tell you how glad I am that I did not take the dope. I stuck with NSAIDs. I admit I used alcohol more than I should have but now that the underlying condition is mostly under control I managed to shake that.
I know well what you are going through. If at all possible stay away from the dope. Just my two cents.
Hereditary peers to be removed from Lords as bill passes
Do you know who else has an inherited title?
If you’re not e heredetary peer, you don’t belong in the House of Lords.
Kind of cancels the entire idea of the House of Lords. Much like the 17th amendment canceled the entire purpose of the Senate.
Yeah, I don’t see anything good coming out of this.
Yeah, I don’t see anything good coming out of this.
The UK’s cultural suicide continues apace.
“The end of America’s involvement in this conflict will ultimately be determined by the commander in chief, when he feels the military objectives are fully met, and the threat of the rogue Iranian regime has been completely demolished,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
So, never.
https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/trump-says-the-iran-war-is-nearly-won-but-israel-has-other-ideas-9b7eb3fb?st=gYCKNx&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
I think it’s a bit premature to be predicting a war that never ends. It’s only been 11 days, and sure, the Dems and their media allies are giving the regime hope that if they just hang on a bit longer they turn the public and get Trump to let them survive, but within a few more weeks of intensifying destruction of their assets it will all be over anyway.
Oh, I think the hot war will end. I don’t think “the threat of the rogue Iranian regime” will be demolished.
Therefore perpetual war either hot or cold.
Well, Iran has been at war with the US for 47 years, so at the very least their capacity to continue that war and their ability to bring nukes online will be greatly diminished, if not altogether eliminated. And if the result of every Iranian attack or attack by proxy brings overwhelming retaliation directly against Iranian assets and leadership, that shit will likely stop. Punitive expeditions are usually pretty effective at stopping the bullshit or at least tamping it down to minimal levels.
To reiterate some else’s thought, we don’t necessarily need a changed regime, just a compliant regime as in Venezuela with Maduro’s VP.
Mornin’
Day 3 of DST re-alignment continues.
suh’ fam
Slept in. Did not get morning tasks done.
Yeah, I’m still waking up to the alarm feeling like I haven’t slept a wink.
“A video clip was deleted from Secretary Wright’s official X account after it was determined to be incorrectly captioned by Department of Energy staff,” an agency spokesperson said. The administration is reviewing other options to resume tanker traffic, the spokesperson added, “including the potential for our Navy to escort tankers.”
Whoops! Sorry guys!
https://www.wsj.com/finance/stocks/deleted-tweet-from-energy-secretary-sends-oil-markets-on-another-wild-ride-a40df578?st=FYey8t&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
At work I watched oil drop below $80 and climb right back up after this. From memory it settled down in the upper $80s. The Trump WH really is amateur hour when it comes to financial markets.
I think it’s a combination of the Trump White House is the first administration in a very long time that is trying to solve problems, not “manage” them, and the financial markets don’t have any idea what to do with an administration that tries to solve problems rather than “manage” them.
The Tweet was unnecessary to begin with.
Markets like stability. It doesn’t matter if the stable state is undesired by most.
I don’t mind them trying to change the stable state, but do mind the completely unnecessary volatility.
Sigh…
The Senate’s 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is a melange of some 40 bills. Call it a blueprint for a bigger Washington. It establishes multiple grant and loan programs for “affordable” housing while expanding federal power over local zoning. The worst provision is a ban on large investors purchasing single-family homes to rent.
Naturally a good chunk of Team Red is all in!
