Like last week, this episode takes aim at pop culture podcasts, but in a separate vein. Since the pandemic every youtube (and some mainstream shows) just kept on doing the ‘lets record our Zoom meeting and call it a show’. So, that’s what I did. I sat in my bedroom studio and recorded me having a conversation with myself talking as five different characters. Of course, unlike the lazy shows it was scripted and I then had to do animation and editing.

If you had characters with a British accent, a Boston accent, and a high-pitched fast talker, you’d have the same voice acting range as Seth McFarlane, which is pretty good. Maybe try an old man voice sometime? That’s an easy one to do.
You can get a lot of mileage out of repertoire of a dozen voices. Just look at Dan Castellaneta. Getting to Mel Blanc or Billy West territory is way harder.
I bought some flat earth books by Nos Confunden a while ago. The books are less than 40 pages and that is with large print and many maps of flat earth. It reads like it is poorly translated to English. I’d imagine a 2nd grader could write a better book.
Seems like an accurate reflection of people who believe the theory.

They rolled out Windows 11 to the VDI environment and it SUUUUUUCKS.
Whoever was involved in that UI design deserves death by slow, public torture, and not the kind that hides their pain in any kind of enclosure.
Their AI spyware team deserves even worse.
My laptop occasionally extols the supposed virtues of Windows 11 to me, and wouldn’t I love to get started on it now? I will continue to disbelieve it and to resist assimilation.
Every new thing I learn makes me less interested in changing over.
Corporate is moving to 11 as 10 goes EOL this year.
