Yes, that is an Aperol Spritz and it is delightful. Go back to your raspberry/chocolate beer and leave me alone.

Links?

Apparently, Team Red likes to fuck.

Clone this motherfucker and put him in charge of every country in the world.

Next step is now in progress. I doubt Iran is going to blink. Unless someone takes the Ayatollah off the top of the decision tree.

And the answers remain consistent. Another off the rails nutter.

FEAR!!! PANIC!!!

“Damn solar flare. Sorry about your balls.”

I’m sure they’re thrilled to have an even bigger bullseye on their backs.

Okay, that’s it for me. Have a great evening. Peace out, Glibbies.

“We will operate from the United States to Africa in an FDA-approved clinical trial. We’ll be performing a robotic prostatectomy for a man in Angola who otherwise would not have access to high-end surgical care,” said Dr. Vip Patel, a Global Robotics Institute at AdventHealth.

Could this surgery be performed remotely from, I don’t know, say, India?

On fucking: Over time it has proven to be a pretty popular activity. No surprise on the fertility rates. Are we in Idiocracy?

    Yes. More Mileis.

Whatever happened to Frank? I never see him around. He is a retired B-2 pilot, isn’t he? Also, blowing up the bunker with the Uranium in it wont solve the problem. It needs to be taken away from them.

MAGA madman. They just cant help themselves.

    • R C Dean

I dropped into the comments over at Instapundit. Holy crap, are the MAGA war boners raging. Huge, throbbing, lasting more than 4 hours, should probably see a doctor.

I asked if maybe Congress should declare war before we start bombing other countries.

      Apparently not.

  3. ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

How do they know he was MAGA? Or is it just slander?

She has previously worked as a writer for Ebaum’s World focusing on internet culture, and as a contributing editor at We Got This Covered. As a freelance writer, her work has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Saturday Paper, Crikey, Thrillist and Junkee.”

I was expecting that level of writing to come from a Columbia School of Journalism graduate.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

That was my point. Saying MAGA is shorthand for saying “them”, and is just a way to slander a movement/president/ideology.

    • R C Dean

Nothing says MAGA like taking direction from . . . *checks notes* . . . Tim Walz.

The new law will allow civilians with a legal permit to purchase and own semiautomatic assault rifles, carbines, or machine guns with a detachable magazine of .22 LR caliber or above. …

This still sounds like you need permission from the government.

As with Hank Johnson I fear that the additional weight of the B-2 will cause Guam to tip over or at least start a slant that will cause things to slide off as the island tries to right itself.

Folks from Southern California flock to Mammoth’s Lakes Basin for hiking, camping and fishing — in Mammoth, outdoor recreational tourism contributes more than 70% of the dollars in the town’s general fund, according to Mayor Chris Bubser.

Obviously, diversifying the local economy must be prohibited.

Because no one ever goes skiing at a private resort.

      • Evan from Evansville

“Because no one ever goes skiing at a private resort.”

Well, I’ve never been. And I also didn’t vote for Nixon. No one else did, either. (So I’m told?) So add ’em up. No one ever has. So there.

  9. The Late P Brooks

“It bypasses existing protections, and it sells off huge swaths of land without proper process to get public input,” said Katie Hawkins, California program director for Outdoor Alliance. “That is very different from anything that we have ever experienced before.”

    Wow. That was fast.

    • Rat on a train

I bought my property next to federal land because it wouldn’t be developed. How dare you let someone develop land next to me.

    • Shpip

      Here’s why that’s a good thing.

BTW, The legislation says that land would be nominated for sale by state and local government officials in the states affected. Sales would not be made in contradiction to states’ wishes.

So the green weenies can whine to their state legislatures if they object (and they will) to “pristine” scrubland being sold off.

      • rhywun

The clear-cutting of forests by private logging companies, for example, is something that happens when land is not privately owned, or because property rights go unenforced.

        Preach.

    • SarumanTheNotSoWise

All the surviving Indian tribes should claim ownership because the innumerable land acknowledgements uttered by various government officials in recent years indicate that titles to the land in question were improperly transferred.

      • rhywun

And why not. The left would get down on its knees in support of this.

      • Mythical Libertarian Woman

The tribes in my area are based af so I’m in favor of giving them back the whole damn state.

    • Suthenboy

Anyone who has taken a quick look at a map should be surprised they dont have quakes every month or so.

      • Brochettaward

Apparently they suffer from 15 or so magnitude quakes a year and like a thousand smaller ones. So very well could be a coincidence though location and timing raise eyebrows.

Yeah it should read something like “Team Red likes to have babies slightly more than Team Blue.”

      • Rat on a train

Team Red doesn’t like to murder their offspring quite like Team Blue.

      • Sean

And we’re happier and better looking.

      • SarumanTheNotSoWise

        “better looking”

Not me. Why do you think I have long hair and a beard?

  13. Shpip

The bill does not specify which public lands would be sold, but it also does not include any public process that would allow local leaders, advocates or residents — the people who know these lands best — to provide any input in the decision.

Or… the people who “know the land best” can put their money where their mouths are and be the highest bidder when the land comes up for sale.

And if the high bidder is some REIT that’s going to build a resort / condoplex with lake views and easy access to the marina and ski slopes, then good on ’em.

    • Chafed

      So much this.

  14. The Late P Brooks

And if the high bidder is some REIT that’s going to build a resort / condoplex with lake views and easy access to the marina and ski slopes, then good on ’em.

The civic minded do-gooders should buy that land out from under them and put up an equitable housing shanty town.

OT and thanks, Spud. Will devour links soon. (STEVE SMITH LINKS GO OUTSIDE IN.) My best friend back in the day, Shayan Kashani, published his first book: ‘So What,’ a collection of short stories. remarkably well-written, but often too pretentious. (Certainly in character.)

Derp+ have mentioned me writing an auto-bio. I’ve toyed around with thoughts and a structure to it, but it’s hard to separate the ‘internally’ important from what the Reader considers to be such. I need an editor. (Everyone gets distorted in their own lens.)

A project is necessary, and I’m the only one in the way of ‘finding’ it. (I need an editor.) I’m trying to think of a series idea to help frame things. (A lede, if you will.) My ‘Lotto card’ luck has me with a medical subject I can reveal light on, a new angle. I’d be foolish to ignore that In.
Act/ Part I: My beginning, exploration and character.
    II: The Incident and rehab+
III: ?? (This part I’ve semi-thought about into a comedic caper with Munchkin, helping righteous Family Services folk get the help they actually need, spiting the moochers through some nefarious revenge, supplied by wayward blood donors I provide access to.

A tad-bit out of the furnace of financial uncertainty, I’m beginning to feel the urge to *create,* once again. It’s rather relieving, in its own way. (It also sparks further uncertainty. Unfun.)

‘Nature don’t play,’ and neither should I. Sitting on far too much to ignore. (I know we all feel the same way, in our own arenas.)

    • Brochettaward

Well, Trump has lost me. He went from being a fuck you to the deep state to their clown puppet.

      • Ownbestenemy

I like your character arc to full blown ZH commentor.

      • Brochettaward

Are you calling me an anti-Semite? Why I never!

I have generally been accused of being too pro-Israel by some. I completely support Isreal’s right to defend itself. Just not with my tax dollars. This has nothing to do with the US.

I do fully believe that Israel has dirt on our politicians and controls many of them. Call that what you will, but there’s no other good explanation for why we act as if they are, in fact, the 51st state.

Do you have any explanation why some sliver of land in the Middle East with no real resources and relatively little strategic significance is worth so many headaches to us outside religious fairy tales such as Tex Cruz was spouting off about?

      • Brochettaward

If I was Israel, I’d sure as shit be collecting dirt on our political class because their survival depends on it. It’s not a conspiracy theory. It’s actually in a roundabout way a credit to Israel and what I think they’re capable of and willing to do to survive.

I have a lot of respect for their ability to even continue to exist.

But unless you can give me some satisfactory answer to the above questions that I have never considered, I’m going to stick with my crackpot theories here regardless of what anyone wants to call me.

      • Brochettaward

Thought I was responding to Chafed, but it’s Ownbestenemy. Even better.

Another fact – I could sit here and call Epstein’s island an Israeli honeypot with little criticism here, but when you actually look for real world consequences of said espionage, like influencing our political class, that’s a bridge too far for some.

      • Gustave Lytton

Christian guilt/messiahism, Holocaust guilt, large family and cultural ties to the US, only remaining westernized country in the region, non-barbarian, etc etc in addition to deep involvement and alignment with US politics.

      • Brochettaward

I’m too cynical to believe that most of our reps give a fuck about Christianity so much that they really believe Isreal needs to be protected as the chosen people. Same with Holocaust guilt.

I could buy their “familial” ties to the US are a factor, but that’s flirting pretty close with Jews rule the world shit if you ask me. Because these people sure as shit don’t care that some middle class Jewish family’s grandma still resides in Israel. Jews are one of the smaller minorities that matter in this country at that.

Western culture? I mean, I suppose that’s something. You think that’s enough to justify our extreme allegiance to this little shred of land?

Deep involvement in US politics…is kind of another way of saying that they interfere with our politics which is what I’m arguing.

Maybe they don’t own Trump, but I’d wager they have dirt on a number of politicians. Can I definitely prove that outside connecting loosely connected dots? Of course not.

      • Ownbestenemy

See, that Bro, we can discuss. They lobby…hard. That we can see. I mean, they tried to get Massie primaried and failed cause while we can see American’s are absolutely terrible at picking its leaders, sometimes, they see through the bullshit.

      Sadly in my life.

It’s no consolation that Biden or Harris would have done the same.

      • Brochettaward

I don’t believe they would have. That’s the saddest thing.

      • Sean

Does that mean this was the right thing to do then?

      • Brochettaward

        Here’s how I see it:
        1. Israel doesn’t fuck with Iran if a Democrat is in power because they’d be receiving lukewarm support at best.
        2. Israel fucking owns Trump. He is their puppet and I don’t even want to hear denials at this stage.

      • Akira

Maybe the same exact sequence of events would have played out with whatever the Democrap option was, but the Obama years demonstrated that they have no actual opposition to war unless there’s a chance to poo-poo the Republicans over it. I think there’s a real chance we could have been in a hot war with Russia if they had won.

It doesn’t make Trump’s Iran idiocy OK by any means, but Tom Woods has been proven right: “No matter who you vote for, you get John McCain’s foreign policy”.

      • Akira

        * would NOT have played out with a Democrat in power

      • Brochettaward

It’s a Deep State, Akira, and you don’t get a vote on it.

      • Brochettaward

Best case scenario right now – Iran tries to respond, but can’t because Israel controls the air space over their shithole. Their last attack on Israel was a joke that relied on drones and missiles, and only one drone could get through to launch a pitiful attack on a house that was partially damaged.

This could be what Trump is banking on.

I see no way Iran doesn’t at least have to try and respond. They’d look so ridiculously weak after launching threats for the last week about what would happen if Trump joined in.

      • Chafed

Iran doesn’t appear capable of responding. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria are no longer a threat. The Houthis rely on Iran for their firepower. They are not getting resupplied. Russia made clear it isn’t stepping in. I doubt it could if it wanted to since it’s bogged down in Ukraine. Iran can probably organize some small terrorist attacks in the west. They don’t appear capable of much else.

      • Brochettaward

        Chafed, I’d agree.

But what’s the goal if not regime change here, and what sort of mess does that create? It’d be Libya on steroids if the Ayatollahs fall. Mark my words – what comes next will be worse if that’s the route they go.

Does Trump stop here or does he escalate, particularly if Iran tries to respond?

And most importantly, what the fuck does America stand to win in all of this? There’s nothing of note. It’s not even worth the price of the bombs dropped today to us.

Maybe we should just annex Israel and start making them pay taxes for this shit.

      • Brochettaward

They aren’t going to leave an embittered and humiliated Iranian government intact. It will now always be a looming threat if you ask me.

It’s all fucking retarded. It’ll end up another Libya with refugees and warlords right in the center of the Middle East which is already a cauldron of steaming shit.

It will be worse than the Ayatollahs who were a minor thorn in our side outside when we we were fucking around where we didn’t belong in the first place.

      • Fourscore

I remember the Gulf of Tonkin alleged incident too well. Iraq is not like Viet Nam, it’s a desert, not a jungle, 20 years later with troops still deployed.

        Same movie, different players.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYii6nxhvUk

      • Chafed

I don’t have a sunshine and rainbows answer for you. I took Islamist terrorists and their state sponsors with a grain of salt before 9/11. Since then, I believe them when they say they want to kill us. Iran has called us the great Satan since the ayatollah took over. The regime is controlled by end of the world religious fanatics. They were working towards building nuclear bombs. Some were intended to be used on Israel. Some were intended for us. What we got out of dropping bunker busters on Fordow was ending that threat for the foreseeable future.

I have no idea if Trump wants regime change. I’m not aware of a worse group than the mullahs in Iran. That doesn’t mean they don’t exist. I may be ignorant. But if the mullahs were the worst, then perhaps a new regime would be better for us, Iranian people, and Iran’s neighbors.

Fine. You’re a a little bitch, always have been. Things go wrong, well it must be that X is owned by the Jews. No other explanation. Its lazy and tired. So if that isn’t a stereotypical ZH commentor, then whatever.

I see this more as a payback for military talking heads hiding info from Trump on the Syria thing. Doesn’t make it right, I mean, we are on the same side here. Its ego. Trump is making sure he is swinging America’s balls onto Iran’s chin. Stupid – yep.

Do I think Israel called and said do it or Ill fucking spank you? No.

      • Brochettaward

Hey, I’m glad you engaged with the questions posed. That’s progress.

I find the explanation lacking. Trump never suffered for not involving us deeper into Syria. Even now, the media basically cheered when Assad fell and there was no blowback against Trump from any serious corners. I don’t see why he’d particularly care about some Neocon criticism received.

The guy just got up there and basically admitted this was to defend Israel. His only other answer was some weak stuff about revenge for attacks in Iraq that were conducted with Iranian arms.Which was over a decade ago now. Might as well have referenced the Iranian hostage crisis while he was at it.

Do you believe Epstein was an Israeli asset? I sure as fuck do.

      • Ownbestenemy

I think Epstein was an Israeli agent as much as I believe in firsting.

      • Brochettaward

        So, yes?

      • Brochettaward

Epstein was someone’s asset. The guy went from being a private school teacher to just falling into managing the money of a guy who was deeply connected to Israel who had no reason to hire Epstein in the first place (Leslie Wexler). We’re talking about hundreds of millions of dollars put in his hands. He had a serious relationship with the former Israeli PM.

We’ll never get confirmation of this, but the circumstantial evidence suggests he was someone’s asset.

  27. Ownbestenemy

God damn Rubio’s ears are huge. Lets see if its really a one and done.

  28. groat scotum

Well, thank goodness Trump did something admirable after all.

Well, not really. He took credit for a couple bombs. Israel has dealt with horrendous backlash after a brilliant campaign. America helped. Super. Trump wants credit for everything. Super. Israel is smart to feed his ego, but let’s be real, Israel has covered 99% of this non-war

    • rhywun

Which means if I am reading the entrails correctly that this is not Afghanistan 2.0.

      • groat scotum

        Correct.

  29. dbleagle

Well another goddamn war boner POTUS. You couldn’t let the Israeli who have plenty of casus belli for an expanded war with Iran fight their war without us getting sucked into offensive operations against Iran- a nation we have no to very weak reasons to go to war with. I get they were behind plenty of attacks on US attacks during Iraq 2.0, but when that war ended that cause for war ended. Yes, their aligned militias have attacked US bases located in Iraq and Syria, but we have been responding against those ineffectual attacks proportionally and have killed many time more of them. Ditto for Huthis.

By attacking the Iranian strategic assets with non-deniable means you just initiated a war you dumb asshole. If you wanted to do that you MUST go to Congress and get permission BEFORE you do it. Something you failed to do. Even if doing so would have sent a huge message to the Iranian government to try a last chance at diplomacy. You didn’t even ask for a fig leaf from the UN. You now own this mess you dumb MFer. Congress will get a chance to give dumb looks.

No Euro nation will join, and they are all probably thinking about when to tell you that the US can’t launch offensive missions, or refueling, or resupply, etc. through their soil. The Arab states will be hedging as well unless you go in big and long because they are in close proximity of the wounded and angry Perian lion and they don’t trust us to cut and run.

Our munitions are already in Ukraine and Israel in large numbers and our factories aren’t making replacements at appropriate rates- and can’t for years if at all.

    WTF were you thinking?

    • Akira

      WTF were you thinking?

That it will be the biggest, most beautiful, most tremendous, most amazing war of all time. Everybody is talking about how great it is. Truly a masterstroke. The best. Everyone knows it.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

He isn’t thinking, he’s listening to Mark Levin and the other neocon scum who are pumping him up and are telling him it’ll help his numbers. Goodbye political capital and goodbye domestic agenda via a wipeout in the midterms that’ll be epic followed by an impeachment that I hope sticks this time. No matter who you vote for you get McCain, it’s true.

      • Ownbestenemy

I dunno. It seems even MSM is lining up behind this for now

      • Raven Nation

Relax. Hannity just assured the country this was the right thing to do

      • Chafed

I was feeling alright about it until you said that.

    • Gustave Lytton

McCain is leading a chorus of “Bomb Iran”.

        In Hell

    • Chafed

I’m pretty sure every Sunni regime is quietly delighted by what happened.

I’m 100% with you that Trump needed Congressional authorization that he didn’t have.

    • DenverJ

I agree. Huge mistake for Trump. He should have asked Congress. Iran would’ve gone back to negotiations. The last impeachments were BS, but if Congress doesn’t impeach him for this then we’re even further along the end of the Republic. You know, everybody thinks of Rome, and how the Republic became the Empire, but I don’t think the USA would follow that template. Trump himself is way too old to become Ceasar. I think the danger is a figurehead controlled by others… like the Biden administration. Harris would’ve been the same. I’m thinking the late Empire, where the Imperial Guard controlled the emperors. One more reason to keep power from being concentrated in the Executive.

      • rhywun

Narrator: Congress is not going to impeach him for this.

      • Ownbestenemy

I agree its impeachable and should be done..but Trump’s team weighed it against Biden, Obama, Bush and is like…ya? So what?

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

He won’t be impeached for this but he will be impeached because this splits his coalition and there will be a wipeout in the midterms. Then the Dems will find a reason, probably related to immigration and deportations but I honestly don’t even care anymore. I hope they manage to succeed actually.

  30. Ownbestenemy

I will say…quite successful in military OpSec on this one. Slight of hand, deception, etc. Also, not that we needed to, but showing we can launch from midland United States and later that evening bomb the shit out of something is quite the message.

Just should have gotten Congress involved.

    • Yusef drives a Kia

The WPA of 1974 screwed that up, 60 days until he has to present to congress or shut down. So he does Fordow and steps back, if so Im good with it.

      • dbleagle

One of the problems Yusef is that Iran gets a vote on ending this. This may well be more than 9/11 or 07Oct for the Iranians. I am confident they will strike out at American targets in the region, and through their embassies and maybe sleeper cells throughout the world. The AQ shitheads hit some symbolic targets and probably were surprised by their catastrophic success in NYC. We launched 20 years of war in the ATO and *+ years against a country that had nothing to do with the attacks. Israel suffered a huge hit, proportional to population, but again the attack hit nothing of strategic value. They are still fighting hard in Gaza and have ramped up operations shortly before they started on Iran- plus took out Hezbollah as a factor for multiple years. The news is reporting that WE, not Israel, without warning (like Pearl Harbor) struck targets of enormous strategic value and cost. Somethings dear to Persia pride. These fuckers and Rome fought for centuries even before they went Shia. I am willing to bet dollars to donuts we did not completely destroy those facilities- so that means restrikes. So more reasons to get pissed off. The Iranians already have posted online that the highly enriched materials were already removed from the three facilities. So that almost weapons grade uranium is out there somewhere and maybe be rapidly processed at a facility(ies) that we know exist but since they are undeclared we don’t know where they are or their capabilities. Can the Iranians sprint to a bomb? Who knows, I don’t think even the Israelis know. Once they have it, they have plenty of reasons to use it. Remember it doesn’t need to be missile capable. Suicide aircraft, smuggled in by sea, or who know how is good enough.

We have a smattering of bases spread out in Iraq and Syria. (Why? That is a different rant.) The common thread, lots of non-combat arms types with a smattering of security forces. From Oct 2023 to fall of 2024 the bases took infrequent and small indirect fires attacks. We batted those away and killed lots of people at or near the POOs (Points of Origin). We had only 2-3 KIAs and a small number wounded in all. Now those bases are all vulnerable to attack including pissed of ground assaults. It is hard to defend small bases against people determined to die in the attempt. People that the Iranians told back last fall to knock it off. People that would nothing love more than to fuck the corpse of American soldiers, male or female, dead or alive. That means we need to have lots of USAF ready to drop plenty of bombs “danger close” to try and break up attacks. Attacks to be launched at the time, and place, of the enemies choosing.

You would think that OMB, even if he is not aware of history, would be able to look at the current Israel/HAMAS situation and realize the old truth. One side can start a war but both sides have to agree to end it.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

Congress isn’t a functioning entity anymore, especially when it comes to war. They like not bearing a share of the blame if things go south.

      • Chafed

        Absolutely correct.

    • Fourscore

Well, the ruling family. Their subjects don’t seem to be benefiting very much.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

No shit but only the stupidest of the stupid haven’t learned that lesson already.

    • Ownbestenemy

Not that I want us to do anything, but their capabilities are…wanting. Im sure they are thinking well shit, we should shut up for a couple of months.

  32. Tres Cool

Would it help if Trump told Tehran, “Hey- remember that shit you pulled in 1979 with 52 of our citizens?”

    • Chafed

I just hope they guy shooting them got gored or trampled to death.

  33. Akira

In other non-nuclear news, Dad is going through chemo and is actually remaining very lively and healthy by all appearances. But a cadre of relatives (including me) have decided to take turns staying over here for a few days at a time to make sure he takes his meds, follows the care regimen, and doesn’t overdo it. Caught him mowing the fucking lawn already and had to deport him with no due process back inside the house and finish mowing myself.

It’s truly weird being back in your childhood home following your parent around making sure they eat healthy, don’t do things that are dangerous to their health, and go to bed on time.

    • Ownbestenemy

Prayers and thoughts Akira on your dad’s journey.

      • Akira

Thank you. The doctor said it was caught very early and hasn’t spread yet, so that’s good of course.

      • Chafed

        That’s good news.

    • Gustave Lytton

Hah! I’m having to talk to my wife in nurse/baby voice to make sure she’s eating the hospital food.

      • Akira

Haha, sometimes I do “here comes the airplane” to my wife when I’m trying to get her to try some new food (I’m the one who eats “weird” food and she eats “normal” food).

      • Furthest Blue pistoffnick (370HSSV)

There are only a few things I won’t eat: okra, raisins, shrimp heads, crawfish heads, sea cucumbers, coffee, high sugar foods (I’m pre-diabetic).

      • Akira

Oh I LOVE okra – boiled and dressed up with a little butter and salt… I’ll eat it up, slime and all.

I’ve never eaten crustacean heads, but I’ve made stock out of them.

We could all use less sugar, honestly.

      • Spudalicious

“There are only a few things I won’t eat: okra, raisins, shrimp heads, crawfish heads, sea cucumbers, coffee, high sugar foods (I’m pre-diabetic).”

I’ll disagree on shrimp and crawfish heads, and hell no on no coffee coffee. Okra can kiss my ass.

    • SarumanTheNotSoWise

Glad it was caught early. But I wouldn’t baby him too much. But he’s your Dad, you know him far better than I.

  34. Gustave Lytton

Sean- thanks for the reminder for dealer tires. They were the cheapest but not by much and were a week out plus several hours to change. Discount Tire was next day and in/out in under 45 minutes. All taken care of.

    • Chafed

Do you have Les Schwab in your area?

      • Gustave Lytton

Of course! Company started in Prineville. This is home turf with a Schwab on every block. But it’s a sad shell of itself since the old man died and his handpicked successor retired (and died also), and the family sold out. Truthfully they’d been going downhill for years. Tires were always expensive and still are. Lots of pressure to upsell and shady shit.

Still do a great job on flat repairs. That’s where I went first.

      • Chafed

I’m surprised by your experience. Schwab has always been great for me.

    • Sean

      😃

  35. DenverJ

I’d like to know if our bombs destroyed Fordow. Seems important to the discussion.

    • Ownbestenemy

Day light coming…my guess we’ll know in a couple hours.

    • Derpetologist

If the bombs were ineffective, it would not be publicized. Think back to Desert Storm and all the videos that were shown of bombs hitting targets.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

+1 Patriot Missile which actually wasn’t hitting shit. If the attack didn’t work they’ll fake it.

    • kinnath

Here is a photo of what the site looks like.

The building that is above ground is likely to host support functions and not be part of the enrichment facility. It looks like there are two tunnels in and out.

The article says that the bombs can penetrate 200 feet (20 stories) before exploding. Subsequent bombs can penetrate even farther.

Even if the bombs don’t get all the way down to the facility (I think read that it is 600 ft down), ingress and egress are totally fucked to twenty stories deep.

  36. groat scotum

Well, you know, if it makes all the same to you, let’s not worry about and maybe hurrah the Shah, you know?

    • groat scotum

Been following the fireworks since the fall of Iran, and also Inshahallah James Clavell, right? And the rightful return of the Prince Heir of the Shah. But really, the Iranian helicopter service spelled out by James Clavell.

      • groat scotum

Been celebrating James Clavell and mourning the fall of the Shah of Iran since 1979, and also around 2003ish when I finally read Whirlwind, again by James Clavell. The most terrific novel that precipitated the fall of the Iranian Mullahs and the Ayatollah.

No earlier than 1986, when I Was born.

        Possibly later than 2003? I can’t remember. Maybe 2005?

Anyway, the Iranian women were sexy and they were hot for Western helicopter pilots.

  37. groat scotum

We’re seeing the last of a death cult of Islamist theocrats and perhaps the return Tehran travel??

  39. groat scotum

Alright but for real, let’s see if it makes any difference. I hate this cunty thing Trump has done seizing on Israel’s achievements and then, at the eleventh hour, pretending he’s responsible for for any of it. Israel has borne this undertaking and suffered for it. America has done nothing but shoot some missiles out of the sky. To the extent the US helped the Iron Dome: amazing. I love it. I want to see more of it. But let’s be realistic, Trump showing up now to bomb Fordow and wherever else: does not make up for the ballistic missile nightmare Israelis have been suffering for the past week.

I get that it’s the deal when dealing with Trump: he gets credit, regardless. This venal fucking shrinking violet cunt gets credit when things go well. So now Trump gets to take credit for dropping a couple fucking bunker busters. Despite being nowhere to be found for the past week. Despite pretending to be all about making a deal.

    • Sean

You wish he did more? The expressed opinion around here is mad he did anything.

I’m waiting to see how any of this negatively impacts any of us.

Fuck, I wasn’t thrilled about it last night, but I’m already over it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Israel got us drawn into a war they knew they couldn’t finish when they started it but they acted reckless knowing we’d back them up. Israel doesn’t deserve any credit and neither does the orange retard.
