It is a small city but not so small (ca. 100K) that it couldn’t support a 24-hour supermarket. Why is gold up almost 40% in the last year? I can think of 3 reasons:
1. Increased industrial demand for gold. OK. I can wrap my head around this. “Renewable” energy demands, such as those related to EVs.

3. Massive devaluation of the US dollar. I am convinced this is the huge majority of it.
