With the new format or whatever is going on, the sidebar actually is less obtrusive and aids my browsing. I zoom in like an old man to make the text bigger and when it’s spread across the whole page it creates problems.

When’s Trump banning Tiktok?
I fear banning tiktok is a bad idea, unenforceable and creates another black market. I’m remarkably ignorant about it, cuz I’ve never used it. From what I gather, it’s content and an algorithm to give you more of what you want. Fear is it’s pushing anti-US shit. At this point though, as long as content gets out, can’t it be somehow streamed from somewhere, regardless?
The Cause is baked into the Useful Idiots. They truly believe it all and will create and spread their own shit no matter what. (Until.) I also really don’t like the precedent it would set. Yuck.
Banning TikTok is literally the law. It was passed with bipartisan support and a wide margin. Trump is defying the law by letting it continue to operate in the US.

Chafed – I like you. I can understand why it would be a bit awkward when this subject comes up for the Jewish Glibs in general.
There’s probably some middle ground though between Jews control the world and the state of Israel certainly seems to exercise an outsized role on US policy across the board. Israel offers the US little, but the US politicians of both parties go out of their way to appease the state of Israel on some level. The hostile presidencies are still rather lenient with Israel compared to just about any other nation on the planet I can think of.
It’s a legitimate question to ask…but what exactly do we get out of our partnership with Israel that at times can definitely feel as though we are the junior partners if not absolute subordinates?
It’s a legitimate question, sure. But with Tucker, it all begins and ends with Israel right now. Never any other country or their influence. And then there’s a spin both covering for Qatar (which is a downright nasty little country) and how the poor innocent Palis are being genocided by the Israelis. They aren’t, but frankly the Israelis should be justified in doing so after 10/7, And last 80 years of Arab bullshit.
It seems like that with Israel commentators have to either praise them to high heavens or the opposite. Malign and tie them to anything and everything.
To just be blunt – Israel has no real meaning to me. I don’t care what they do with regards to Palestine. I just don’t want to be involved much and I certainly don’t want to be waging war on Israel’s behalf on Iran as we did recently and are flirting with sticking our dicks back in again.
The level of emotion Americans have on both sides perplexes me to some extent. I can explain why it has become so important to both sides, but the underlying reasons for it? Yea, I don’t think Americans were so shaken by the Holocaust that they just said to themselves we need to support Israel till the end days. And I don’t believe our Top Men believe in anything so strongly beyond self-interest that Christian prophecy plays that much of a role in their thoughts.
All the flapdoodle over “banning TikTok” and “addictive social media” is evidence of a culture that doesn’t give two shits about defending itself from obvious enemies who have been playing the long game for decades. If parents don’t give a shit about keeping that crap away from their kids, the State isn’t going to be any more successful at it.
