Man we are really just mailing it in now. Although I shouldn’t cast aspersions, I’ve been sitting on a half dozen WAWR submissions for over a week now. I’ll get to it tomorrow, I swear.

I have no idea how it became the ‘BerenSTEEN’ bears, but it’s rather odd how that came about. ‘Stand by Me’ is something I’ve never seen, but apparently it stars “Popeye” as Chopper. Nothing else to that stage name and no link to look further. Well, that’s hard to search, on the same level as Asia’s album “XXX.”

Teachers and Librarians pronouncing it ‘steen’ instead of ‘stain’ when they read the books to children. That’s it.
Librarians don’t read. Especially not school librarians. They hate books and hate students even more.

Just like how books become #1 best sellers because teachers order them in bulk for their class to read; not because children actually enjoy reading them.
Sure, Lewis is one power-unit upgrade away from returning to his championship form. His younger teammates of the last half a decade consistently outperforming him is just a fluke.

Time the market? Well a bull market is defined as a 20% decline from a high. Yes, no one can consistently get you out at the high and in at the low. But I think there are plenty who can advise you to get out within 5% of the high and back in within 5% of the low.

The puddles in the basement got worse AFTER the rain paused last night, so it was time to fire up the Shop Vac. I haven’t dared go down there yet this morning. š

Good morning, Donny 3F!
I just went down and changed out the towels along the bottom of the wall where the water comes in. They were soaked, and the puddles beyond them were at least as bad as before. The constant question is whether it’s worth ripping out the nice and very useful closets along that wall to see if we can find the source of the leakage and, if so, can we even do anything about it. We already put a trench drain at the bottom of the slope outside where water collects, and it has helped some but not completely.

“Never try to time the market”
People who are paid millions of dollars a year to run those funds can’t time the market consistently.
No reason to think you should be able to.
