¡Martes por la tarde!enlaces mexicanos!

I spent Friday at the DMV. It comes as no surprise to me the people working there are petty cunts happy to put a reasonably skilled teenager driving a Subaru down a peg or two. Sure, the speed limit is 45…on Scottsdale Rd. Nobody on Scottsdale Rd is driving 45, are you really that jealous of a 16 year old built like he’s followed an MMA lifting/cardio regimen since he was 12 with long, thick black hair?

Just because he’s attractive. Cunts. All of them.

Fine he failed the driving test due to speeding and I’m pissed I have to take time off work to retest.

¡enlaces!

Who are you going to believe? Us or your lying eyes?

In case you were unaware, a hurricane hit Acapulco last week.

Forget Mexico. Mexico is too nice, and since you fled Mexico anyways, we’re deporting you to Somalia.

I am going with the 48 hour rule. For all we know the kid was 25 and has a thing for dem tiddies.

We know nameless think tank behind a paywall. We know.

I didn’t know they did this in Central America. Huh.

Milei brings the big guns to ¡AFUERA! Okay he just brought guns.

Here’s a goofy tune. Have a great Tuesday..

You should be pissed that your son is wearing black socks with shorts.

    • Yusef drives a Kia

      Wrong!

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

I agree. Black socks with shorts are wrong.

      • mexican sharpshooter

        I’m with Yusef.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

Properly dressed young gentlemen. Not a bunch of German tourist wannabe’s.

  2. Yusef drives a Kia

Them’s some websites Ill pass on thanks.

  3. UnCivilServant

I didn’t know they did this in Central America. Huh.

    Deadly Pension Protests?

“Why does the pension paperwork just have checkboxes for ‘starvation’ ‘lava’ ‘lethal injection’ and ‘firing squad’?”

“Oh, sorry, we forgot ‘gas chamber’.”

  4. Jarflax

Speeding while taking the driving license test indicates that you may have done some proper parenting. Congratulations!

    • mexican sharpshooter

      …thanks

I don’t understand starting a family with an illegal alien.

      Poor life choices.

He can go to Mexico with his wife & kids.

        “Trump deports US citizens.”

    • Jarflax

I have great respect for many traits exemplified by the average young enlisted marine. I regard them in general as brave, dedicated, patriotic, and strong. Judgment in choosing spouses is not on the list.

      • R C Dean

Isn’t it kind of a standing joke?

Plus, the “got each other’s names tattooed” . . . Oof. Nearly always turns out bad.

I know, I know, it’s actually a sad story. But cleaning up the colossal mess of millions of illegals is going to be messy.

      • Jarflax

This sounds like a case where the law should offer a path for her to stay, but after decades of us letting millions of people stay based on the handful of actually sad stories, I’m tired of it. Kick every illegal out first, then we can talk about readmitting a handful with compelling stories.

      • Rat on a train

If you return to your country we won’t hold your previous illegal status against you when you apply for legal immigration.

    • mexican sharpshooter

I don’t understand starting a family with an illegal alien.

Same reason passport bros do what they do.

      • Nikkodemus

You mean because foreign women are so much less of a headache?

      • slumbrew

*looks at buddy married to a Taiwanese woman*

Sure, much less of a headache. 🙄

Hey Grok, give me a concise list of the requirements to live as an expat in Argentina…

    Oh, wrong website

    • UnCivilServant

“You must show membership in the National Socialist Party.”

    • EvilSheldon

Between the fishing in Patagonia, the dove hunting in Cordoba, the wine, the steaks, and now this? Being an expat might not be too bad…

      • UnCivilServant

Just wait until the next socialist takes over.

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

        And the easy women.

      • EvilSheldon

        In Argentina, or here?

      • Jarflax

Says the guy living in New York? I mean I get what you are saying but I’m not sure it distinguishes Argentina from here lol.

      • UnCivilServant

@Jar – I’d think it’d be obvious that the lesson is “Don’t expect the good times to last”

      • Jarflax

Oh, trust me, I don’t. I try very hard to recognize just how fortunate I have been in the time and place of my birth, and that we have pulled back at least twice in my life from what looked likely to be descents into leftist hell. We are a grumpy bunch, and rightly I think, concerned about various political, social and demographic trends, but by any material measure of quality of life, born in the United States post WWII is a lottery win.

      • R C Dean

Yeah, no. Argentina is a seriously fucked up country in a lot of ways.

      • B.P.

        Also skiing.

    • Seguin

AFAIK almost nothing. And after 2 years you can apply for citizenship.

    • The Last American Hero

You know who else lived as an expat in Argentina….

  7. JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

If NBC wants to talk about misinformation regarding immigration, maybe they could start with the Maryland Man nonsense. They they could talk about how the media conflates legal and illegal immigrants. After that they could mention that about 90% of the asylum claims get rejected.

    • rhywun

Or that no-shit communist parties printed signs for many of the rioters. Or that the funding has been traced through a large web of commie outfits.

That article is just flat-out lies. It’s unbelievable.

      • juris imprudent

Oh you missed the “while some far-left groups” throw-away?

    • Suthenboy

They publish crap like that and then complain and express outrage when people scold them and their credibility is in the toilet.
      They are journalists!

      • juris imprudent

Journalists with college degrees in journalisming!!!

After they married in 2024, Paola Clouatre sought a green card to legally live and work in the U.S.

The process to apply for Paola Clouatre’s green card went smoothly at first, but eventually she learned ICE had issued an order for her deportation in 2018 after her mother failed to appear at an immigration hearing.

    • kinnath

So, she had babies after she was ordered to be deported.

      Not a great plan.

      • rhywun

No but the sob story is meat and potatoes for the AP set.

    • Drake

“met Adrian Clouatre, 26, at a southern California nightclub…”

Classic. Is The Metro in Riverside still in business?

      • Rat on a train

Riverside was Air Force. A Marine would more likely be in Oceanside.

  9. The Late P Brooks

Fine he failed the driving test due to speeding and I’m pissed I have to take time off work to retest.

Did they write him a ticket and say he’s ineligible to drive until he’s 21? Count your blessings. At least he didn’t get rear ended by a car going 60.

    • mexican sharpshooter

That was earlier this spring. The car was going 20. Fast enough to damage the liftgate on my wife’s Exploder, but too slow to trigger the airbags,

  10. The Late P Brooks

The narrative echoes similar falsehoods that circulated during the 2020 George Floyd protests and the 2024 pro-Palestinian student protests on university campuses.

Parts of Los Angeles and other cities across the country have seen protests against immigration raids as President Donald Trump’s administration enforces a hard-line immigration policy. Dramatic scenes where cars, including Waymo taxis, were set on fire and protesters confronted law enforcement by throwing objects at them have filled social media feeds.

Lies. All lies. Those protestors are upstanding Chamber of Commerce Republicans concerned about economic growth and the rule of law.

    • rhywun

And totally grass-roots and spontaneous. 🙄

There’s also an “Active Sound Enhancement” system that Nissan says boosts the engine note in the cabin.

I loathe this fucking idea. Let me hear it. Or make it quiet. Stop faking this shit.

      • Sensei

There is a middle ground that I used to think asinine, but in retrospect may not be bad.

They add a tube to the intake and pipe the induction noise into the cabin.

I’d probably delete it still if it was easy to remove however.

      • Jarflax

Long about 2 am on Friday and Saturday as the car teens and bike teens zoom past my house I’d be willing to pipe more than the noise from their exhausts into the cabin… Living on a windy, hilly road has a downside.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

A guy I work with has a Civic Si that sounds like a damn Formula 1 racer and that sound comes through the speakers. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

    • Sean

      Woof.

    • EvilSheldon

Who decided that red accent edging is ‘sporty’, and why didn’t their mother drown them at birth?

      • B.P.

        It rightfully denotes field artillery.

    • rhywun

For some reason the theme from The A Team just ran through my head.

      • Sensei

Perfect. Wasn’t BA the go to “driver”?

    • R.J.

Holy crap that looks bad. Like Family Truckster Sports edition bad. Maybe they will sell one to Clark W. Griswold.

    • mexican sharpshooter

      WTF is that?

    • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

No ground effects? I has sad.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

Well, a proper shooting brake should be a two door, but, I will cut Aston Martin (PBUH) some slack here.

        That’s a Hyundai. A very nice Hyundai.

  11. The Late P Brooks

The spread of false information “is absolutely having an effect on driving partisanship, conspiratorial thinking, distrust for expertise and the lack of a sort of shared reality,” said Linvill. “A shared reality is important for us to build compromise and govern nations together. And I think it is absolutely having an effect on that.”

Stop tampering with our shared reality dream world.

    • rhywun

      The projection… JFC.

    • EvilSheldon

Frankly, the day after the election is probably going to be too late.

    • rhywun

Narrator: The commie stores are not going to be cheaper.

I don’t think Cats has anything to worry about.

      • EvilSheldon

Hence why the capitalist wreckers and hoarders must be denounced as such…

    • Suthenboy

The stores will just be ‘metropolized’. Hey NYC voters, you might want to start hording while it is still legal.
The guy should be arrested for being a wrecker.

      • Jarflax

Whycome no new food show up on shelf? We seize store now store broken, not make new food’

      • rhywun

If you can’t afford to pay ten dollars for a dozen eggs in order to support living wages for all the grocery workers, maybe you shouldn’t be eating.

    • Gender Traitor

If elected, Mamdani said he would redirect city funds from corporate supermarkets to city-owned grocery stores

So, your SNAP card (I guess that’s what the kids are calling it these days. I’m so old I still think in terms of “food stamps”) won’t work at private groceries? Or is there some other way city funds get “directed” to corporate supermarkets? And I thought NYC only had bodegas.

      • rhywun

I have no idea. Commies are so fucking stupid he might actually believe that tax dollars are going into the pockets of grocery chain fatcats.

      • Nephilium

At a local farmer’s market last weekend, they had a helpful stand to convert your EBT card into vouchers to be used at the handful of stands that did not take EBT directly.

This included things such as the scone stands, the pie stands, and the like.

      • rhywun

convert your EBT card into vouchers

        That’s pretty brazen money-laundering. Ballsy.

      • Suthenboy

Silly me, making a joke. Of course they already have a plan for seizing the stores.
So…they already know what is coming. Shortages are a feature of all communist regimes for a reason.

      • Suthenboy

The planned shortages are planned. All of the gibberish is to set up for blaming the not marxists for the planned shortages. It is amazing how they do the same shit over and over, as predictable as the sunrise yet a large number of people NEVER catch on.

      • Ownbestenemy

Ya you used to have to do that shit in the hood…100 EBT bucks for Fitty dollars.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

Indeed. When I worked at the ghetto 7/11, we would regularly get food stamps that were crumbled up, dirty, and had clearly been used to buy drugs from someone.

    • Ownbestenemy

The grocery stores wouldn’t pay rent or property taxes, which would allow them to reduce overhead and pass on savings to shoppers, according to Mamdani’s website. They will also buy and sell at wholesale prices, centralize warehousing and distribution, and partner with local neighborhoods on products and sourcing

      Magic

      • Sean

        Free range rat meat!

      • Dr. Fronkensteen

Well he could eliminate property taxes on privately owned grocery stores but we know that won’t happen.

This will do nothing but create food shortages in NYC. I thought we won the Cold War.

      • rhywun

A unicorn fart in every pot.

Now that I don’t live there, I really want to see him win.

My town elects commies too but there isn’t enough money to extract in order to implement any of their fantasies.

  12. The Late P Brooks

There’s also an “Active Sound Enhancement” system that Nissan says boosts the engine note in the cabin.

This is a carryover from this morning. They have teams of engineers sweating blood to isolate the occupants of the vehicle from any sensory feedback, and now they find out people actually want that.

The steering is completely numb. Maybe give it some artificial video game “feedback”.

The cabin is so quiet you can’t even get a sense of how fast you are going. Pipe in some artificial engine sounds. Put some fake wind noise and drivetrain vibration in there, while you’re at it. Put shaker motors in the seats like a high dollar simulator.

    • R.J.

I want to find a way to replace fake engine noises with the sound of a person going “Brrrrm! Brrrrm!”

  13. The Late P Brooks

by any material measure of quality of life, born in the United States post WWII is a lottery win.

    Ab so fucking lutely.

  14. The Late P Brooks

Nissan managed to extract an extra 35 horsepower, bringing the total to 460 ponies. Nissan says the gains came from engine reprogramming and revising the valve clearances.

Revising the valve clearances? I’d be willing to bet the thing has hydraulic lifters.

Maybe they meant timing. Who knows?

    • Sensei

It’s “Car and Driver” not some specialty automotive publication.

    • R.J.

They might have made it from a non-interference valvetrain into a one where valves could contact pistons in case of a timing chain fail.

  15. kinnath

I want a divorce from California and New York.

    Irreconcilable differences.

  16. Shpip

    — Be a cop in one of the cushiest gigs in the country.

    — Put a bullet in your head (yes, very sad).

    — You know who’s really at fault? The chiropractor you had a brief shoving match with weeks earlier.

I swear, Emmett Till had a more fair trial than any J6 type gets in D.C.

    • Suthenboy

I am guessing there will probably be an appeal on that. There is no way they arrived at that verdict by strictly following procedure.
We need RC to weigh in on this one. That is right up his alley.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

How many cops get injured at any given sizable riot? Doesn’t mean that’s what caused him to cap himself though even if the guy did do it.

      • Suthenboy

If Jan6 had anything to do with the guy’s suicide it is because he knew the whole thing was a lie and he was party to what was being done. Are we sure it was suicide?

      • R.J.

He was talking about Hillary Clinton during his debrief.

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

If this many cops killed themselves as a result of Jan 6, how many killed themselves as a result of the Summer of Fiery but Mostly Peaceful Love? The number must be yuge.

  17. Gender Traitor

My oldest sister will be distraught. I kinda feel as if I should call her to offer sympathy, but I might not be able to refrain from teasing her mercilessly about how over-the-top crazy she was for him.

My wife is going to sad as well.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said Monday that he isn’t bothered by President Trump’s latest push for his ouster after the lawmaker criticized the U.S. strikes against Iran, claiming he’s grown immune to the president’s attacks.

“In some sense, I have the Trump antibodies,” Massie said in an interview with MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes.”

He added, “There are a few people here who are consistent and don’t sway in the wind when it’s your president or somebody else’s president, and I’m just trying to be consistent here in this case.”

In their latest skirmish, Trump urged his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement to ostracize the Kentucky Republican after he blasted the president for sidestepping Congress to order airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities Saturday. Massie called the move unconstitutional.

Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.

    • Suthenboy

Ugh, Massie. We need more guys like Massie. I am guessing that when Obama and Biden did exactly the same thing he had the same complaint…unlike the others screeching about it.

Gotta tell you Tommy, what Trump did was not illegal.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Trump doesn’t get his own base but you’re right here. As much as I dislike what Trump’s done in the past few days there’s nothing illegal about what he did. Massie’ll be just fine though.

      • Suthenboy

We need more guys who object on principle.

      • Ownbestenemy

Originalism…ya Trump did..but we are way past that with WPA and AUMF, so keep fighting Massie.

I just wish Trump had someone saying “Sir, we need him to be that guy, so shut up”

      • Suthenboy

        OBE nails it.
To be consistent with my claims about the 2A, I will say the WPA is….maybe not legal. I dont know the issue well enough to say. Military operations are a tricky thing.
Yes Trump, shut up about Massie. We need those voices.

      • Dr. Fronkensteen

Legal but unconstitutional? I know I’m taking a narrow reading of the Constitution but I feel that even engaging in offensive acts of war without the approval of Congress is unconstitutional. Congress did cede some of that power with the War Powers act to the President, hence why I say that those actions are legal.

  19. The Late P Brooks

They might have made it from a non-interference valvetrain into a one where valves could contact pistons in case of a timing chain fail.

Play with lift and timing for performance improvements, but valve lash itself? On a solid lifter you can cheat it in a pinch, maybe, but I don’t think anybody uses solid lifters anymore. Maybe that dreamy Cosworth V12 in Gordon Murray’s car.

  20. The Late P Brooks

I just wish Trump had someone saying “Sir, we need him to be that guy, so shut up”

Trump’s looking for somebody to primary Massie. Who’s Kentucky’s version of Herschel Walker?

    • Ownbestenemy

This area wont push out Massie but the Jewish PACs are salivating

    • Gdragon

      Antoine Walker maybe? LOL

    • Gdragon

Rex Chapman would work perfectly but he is on the wrong side of the political fence (and is “anti-Trump”, I believe).

    • Shpip

My vote would go to Jared Lorenzen, but alas, the BBQ (Big Beautiful Quarterback) left us for the gridiron in the sky six years ago.

    • B.P.

I’ll go with Richie Farmer, University of Kentucky basketball player, two-time KY commissioner of agriculture, and Lt. Governor candidate. Pitcher and U.S. Senator Jim Bunning has passed on.

      • Gdragon

Hey you picked someone with actual experience, that’s cheating LOL

  21. The Late P Brooks

    Oh, no…

McDonald’s and Krispy Kreme said Tuesday that they’re ending their expanded partnership after just a few months, a bitter end to an ambitious plan to sell the doughnut chain’s treats in all of the fast-food giant’s U.S. locations by the end of next year.

The companies announced the plan in March 2024 and put it in motion a little more than six months ago, but the glaze soon wore off. Last month, Krispy Kreme put everything on pause, citing a need to boost sales. McDonald’s will stop selling the doughnuts July 2.

    Will anyone even notice?

    • Gender Traitor

Most any local bakery/doughnut shop > Panera >> Tim Horton’s >>> Krispy Kreme. (Not enough experience with Dunkin’ Donuts to know where to place it in the hierarchy.) I’d rather have a nice big flaky, buttery croissant than a doughnut/donut any day anyway. 😋🥐

Before the infamous lava monster ad, there was the USMC battle chess ad:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLKQUoykE1g

There used to be a USMC billboard on the way to the big library in the next country over with a saber-armed marine standing next to a chess knight. The caption was:

    MAKE THE SMART MOVE

I loved driving past that billboard.

    • Derpetologist

Bonus: Some Rita Repulsa lookalike plays the mounted Marine’s antagonist.

    • Derpetologist

Also, the Marine from the ad is now a congress critter.

I like the ad – it’s memorable, but hints at the fact that many Marines never end up in a firefight. And what American male aged 13 to 25 doesn’t want fight a sexy dark sorceress?

  23. Sensei

    Meanwhile Snowden is a problem.

“This alleged assessment is flat-out wrong and was classified as ‘top secret’ but was still leaked to CNN by an anonymous, low-level loser in the intelligence community. The leaking of this alleged assessment is a clear attempt to demean President Trump, and discredit the brave fighter pilots who conducted a perfectly executed mission to obliterate Iran’s nuclear program. Everyone knows what happens when you drop fourteen 30,000 pound bombs perfectly on their targets: total obliteration.”

Exclusive: Early US intel assessment suggests strikes on Iran did not destroy nuclear sites, sources say

    • Derpetologist

Oh no, it was leaked by some made-man way up the food chain. Not that umpteen underlings would have known the truth.

Does that shitbird Vindman still have a clearance and access?

  24. Suthenboy

Speaking of fast food….the local city here, Alexandria, is dying. Maybe not, it is probably already walking dead at this point. It used to be nice when I was a kid. They brain drain, the money drain and white flight have killed it and left it with the worst kinds of people.
I just learned today that all of the burger kings have closed up shop and left town. Walmart is considering the same thing. The reason? Apparently the people here cant behave themselves.
It is kind of shocking to see how far things have fallen.

    • Derpetologist

Some town in Alabama went that route and all the white folk left. The amusing part is they didn’t take their Confederate statue with them and resist all attempts to relocate it.

When the monument was erected in 1906, the county population was 82% African-American. Per the 2010 United States Census, the city of Tuskegee is 97% African-American.

In 1966, after an all-white jury acquitted the admitted killer of Civil Rights worker Samuel Younge Jr.,[5] there was an unsuccessful attempt to tear the monument down; it was defaced with “Black Power” and a yellow stripe down its back.[6] It was vandalized with spray paint in 2015 and on October 11, 2017;[7] after the latest incident the United Daughters of the Confederacy, its owner, decided not to clean it, “out of fear it would only be repeated”.[6][8] In 2015, Mayor Johnny Ford sought to relocate the Confederate statue to the Tuskegee cemetery.[9] According to Dyann Robinson, president of the Tuskegee Historic Preservation Commission, “it would probably take a bomb to get it down”.

All the white people left? Even the Tatted up trailer trash skanks, illiterate rednecks, and neo Nazi meth heads? I can see blaming the slumification on the middle class leaving en masse, but making it a black/white thing is unnecessarily racist. Problem there is Assad was actually the (relative) good guy.

      • Derpetologist

Yeah, and the real danger all along was Hamas, not Iran or Hezbollah.

Hamas is now 2nd place for killing the most Israelis. The number one spot goes to Egypt, the 3rd biggest recipient of US military aid after Ukraine and Israel.

I never understood why we give anything to fucking Egypt.

      • Derpetologist

So they won’t attack Israel again and so their military remains strong enough to crush political opposition.

Egypt has been ruled almost exclusively by military governments since 1952.

I’m a registered Republican and I eat at KFC about once a week. Maybe I can primary Massie. If I win, that solves my income problem.

    Oh, how I laughed:

These are secure, encrypted communications with AES and end to end encryption standards with 256-bit encryption. The government can’t even listen in – and NO data is stored anywhere, as it streams the audio and is encrypted. Only people in your group can hear anything, or you can talk in a 1 on 1 setting as
well, or a group – either one. It’s not public communications. They are not trackable and nothing is recorded or stored. We also have headsets, for privacy as well so no one else can hear your communications. Lastly, you can NOT be tracked with this device. We have IoT sim cards with ALL the major carriers which are 100% anonymous and not linked to you in any way. They are totally private – and encrypted too.

Good Lord. I certainly have no depth or breadth or knowledge of the NSA, encryption, or such things.

But that is straight marketing BS.
