The Lion days of summer give way to the virgins. It’s actually a pretty pleasant for both signs, with Virgo starting off with the moon and Leo, while losing the sun picking up Venus on Monday. Tuesday though, now Tuesday is A Big Day. News of a war takes up half of the sky — from Mars in Libra to Saturn retrograde in Aries. And then there’s a lucky configuration of Venus and Mercury with the Sun that should make most people happy and other people… happy IYKWIM.
Leo: 8 of Cups – Moving on to new challenges.
Virgo: Judgement reversed – Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity; also deliberation, decision, sentence.
Libra: 3 of Coins reversed – Mediocrity, puerility, pettiness, weakness.
Scorpio: 8 of Coins – Work, employment, commission, craftsmanship, skill in craft and business.
Sagittarius: 10 of Cups reversed – Repose of the false heart, indignation, violence. Also, gold teeth.
Capricorn: Page of Wands reversed – Anecdotes, announcements, evil news, indecision, instability.
Aquarius: Justice – Equity, rightness, probity, executive; triumph of the deserving side in law.
Pisces: Knight of Cups – Arrival, approach advances, proposition, demeanor, invitation, incitement.
Aries: Wheel of Fortune – Destiny, fortune, success, elevation, luck, felicity.
Taurus: The Chariot reversed – Riot, quarrel, dispute, litigation, defeat.
Gemini: Knight of Swords reversed – Skill, bravery, capacity, defense, address, enmity, wrath, war, destruction, opposition, resistance, ruin. It only signifies death when drawn in proximity to other cards of a similar nature. See also: Taurus and Cancer.
Cancer: The Tower reversed – Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin, unforeseen catastrophe, oppression, imprisonment, tyranny.
If it’s released by Napalm Records, it’s going to be fun.

Leo: 8 of Cups – Moving on to new challenges.
I’ll take it.
Moving on to new challenges.
Shitty or not shitty? That is the question.
Shitty or not shitty?
[ gets up to see actress playing Queen Gertrude ]
Well, Mrs. Dean is fed up with the heat in Tucson and is shopping for a new house in Taos or Santa Fe. I’d say that counts.
Sagittarius: 10 of Cups reversed – Repose of the false heart, indignation, violence. Also, gold teeth.
Do I get to wear a necklace of gold teeth? I think that would require a leopard skin vest, a top hat and a spear to really complete the look.
Gold teeth you say.
“Cancer: The Tower reversed – Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin, unforeseen catastrophe, oppression, imprisonment, tyranny.“
Guess I’ll be putting up some posts over on r/bdsmgw this week.

Can someone tell the stars I’ve retired? Maybe I’ll take up a hobby? Hmm, maybe I could write some more stupid stuff to inflict on you fine folk. Now if only I had an idea.
Jesus I cant catch a break. And with my bday coming up….
Virgo: Judgement reversed – Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity; also deliberation, decision, sentence.
I think it just means that you will have problems typing a complete sentence.
Its a miracle I got that much out. Spend a day in my head and see what its like.
Schrodinger’s dog whistle
From American Eagle to Swatch, brands appear to be making a lot of blunders lately.
When actress Sydney Sweeney’s jeans campaign came out last month, critics lambasted the wordplay of good “jeans” and “genes” as tone deaf with nefarious undertones.
More recently, an advert from Swiss watchmaker Swatch sparked backlash for featuring an Asian model pulling the corners of his eyes, in an offensive gesture.
Colgate-Palmolive’s ad for Sanex shower gel was banned in the U.K. for problematic suggestions about Black and white skin tones. And consumers derided Cracker Barrel’s decision to ditch its overalls-clad character for a more simplistic text-based logo as “sterile,” “soulless,” and “woke.”
Meanwhile, recent product launches from Adidas and Prada have raised allegations of cultural appropriation.
The dogs are making such a racket I can’t hear a word you’re saying.
“My boss told me to string a thousand words together. Here are a thousand words.”
Begun the advertising wars have.
Hey, Brochacho, I saw this and though you might find it interesting. Don’t know anything about them, but thought I would pass it along.
Forgot a link?
Totally forgot: https://gizadeathstar.com/
I’ll give a look. Thanks for sharing.
And I’ll report back.
The American Eagle “blunder” made them a ton of money.
I love OK Go. That is all.
A tourism campaign for Oklahoma?
No, its a Texas based movement to revoke Oklahoman statehood and make it 100% reservation land before building a big inconvenient wall.
Their first two albums are solid. Loved ’em in high school. They’re certainly fun. Kinda turned more into (admittedly awesome) music video artists.
Eve 6: Tremendously underrated. Their second album, Horrorscope, especially. Much better musicians than one’d think, though not top tier, certainly. Clever songs.
Some companies have had success in tapping into the zeitgeist — and, in some cases, seizing on other brands’ shortcomings.
Gap, for instance, this week sought to counter backlash against Sweeney’s advertisement with a campaign in which pop group Katseye lead a diverse group of dancers performing in denim against a white backdrop.
“Counter backlash”?
No, you illiterate baboon. If anything, it’s an attempt to capitalize on it. You know, skim off a piece of the thin skinned moron market.
I think I saw a Levis ad the other day specifically aimed at the big booty black girl market. I sure hope they don’t get accused of being cynically racist.
The backlash somehow resulted in a lot of sales.
Libra: 3 of Coins reversed – Mediocrity, puerility, pettiness, weakness.
Ok, I know I’ve missed a few workouts lately, but I’ve been busy. No need to rub my nose in it.
“Leo: 8 of Cups – Moving on to new challenges.”
I think I’ll pass on new challenges, I’ve enough projects on my plate as it is.
This year is not good to Taurus.
Moving along. Today’s music is very pop with heavy metal window dressing.
Just try to maintain a bullish attitude.
I’m surrounded by You People™.
🙇♂️
Seems that way. At least for all the Tauruses I know here + my wife.
We are at a Sunday appointment for either a damaged or infected shoulder which has been hurting my wife for over a week. Prior to that she had a bad flu. Almost a month of bad health at this point.
Finally a diagnosis. Calcific tendinitis.
I tore my rotator cuff on NYE somewhere mid-00s. A steroid shot would last me a couple of years under heavy use, long past when it should have been repaired. Same with my knee. Shooting, excruciating pain. One shot, 3 years ago. Still working. BUT every time I get a shot, I get the worst fever and chills and whole-body aches for about 24 hours.
It’s good you know what it is now.
PT for recovery?
I don’t know what that is but from the roots used in the words, it sounds painful. As if there’s either ossified shards in the tendons, or the tendons themsevles are ossifying.
PT, and potentially non-invasive removal of the deposit.
Likely either lithotripsy or laparoscopic paring.
Finally she got something that properly treats the symptoms
I wasn’t paying attention, was this mentioned yesterday?
https://people.com/i-dream-of-jeannie-star-barbara-eden-celebrates-94th-birthday-11795933
Wow!
I believe it was listed among the birthdays in Old Man’s links yesterday morning. With great affection.
Tex Mex beef, black bean dip with lots ‘o bacon, extra sharp cheddar, lettuce, green chili salsa, sour cream all wrapped in soft flour tortillas. I am guilty of cultural appropriation?
I hope so. I am getting hungry.
I would be hearbreakingly bored if I had to limit myself to one ethnocultural food category – thank god for cultural appropriation.
I have a bunch of salmon to use up… Maybe it will involve soy sauce, ginger, and hot honey.
Bunch? Then that this time…a nice lemon sauce next time….god, dont get me started thinking about fish.
Taurus: The Chariot reversed – Riot, quarrel, dispute, litigation, defeat.
Goddamn on the money. Fuck. Just got off the phone with State Farm re: my broken chariot. I pick up my rental steed tomorrow as the estimate’s performed on my wounded mare.
This highly displeases me. I love that silly car. Simple, uncluttered knobs, no touchscreen, and a damn trunk ya open yourself! I hope it lives on, so I can open her again, fill her full with my deepest consumer desires. And again… and again…
Going back to see her and see if I can find the police report I may have left in her. I’ll take some pics. *single tear freezes on my melancholic cheek*
This highly displeases me. I love that silly car. Simple, uncluttered knobs, no touchscreen, and a damn trunk ya open yourself!
That’s the best way for cars to be. My ’06 is kind of like that, but it’s getting to that age where all the parts are inevitably wearing out one after another, so I’ll probably have to think about a new one before too long.
I was looking at used Toyota pickup trucks and saw a 2013 with CRANK WINDOWS *swoon*
This is my 2013 Chevy Malibu. I’m prepped for it to be not worth saving, insurance-wise. I’ll have to hunt around for another ‘new’ car.
Fucking Cash for Clunkers. Fucking monsters. Just fuck over poor people who need cheap transportation. But the Left loooves the Poor, don’tcha know?!!?
Yea that was a monstrocity.
And it’s demonstrably unsafe to be fiddling with a cell phone screen while we drive, but then they put all the damn controls in a big screen!
I meant to add: My old cars, purchased used in 2003-2005, were both $1800.
Took a while to find the Chevy, as a ‘usable but no fuss’ for price. With some added insurance? Pushing $12,000 for a then-9yo car. I’m sure down on 32nd and Post ya kind find some cheaper models.
If enough regs are eliminated where folk start making cheap and functional models, like, base-base models, we all agree here there’d be a significant market begging to be born.
There are all kinds of cheap barebones vehicles made by major manufacturers that aren’t available here just because of all the fucking paperwork. Toyota makes one that sells for $12,000 (it would probably not be sold as-is; the accessories are usually added on by the dealer and would drive the price up, but people might be able to get one just like that if they really wanted).
Evan looks like a Polaris Slingshot man to me.

Dear TPTB: I just submitted an article for review.
Dear everyone else: Since I was logged in I thought I’d share this answer I got from ChatGPT. I’ve removed links that didn’t survive the cut/paste process:

Are you familiar with the glibertarians.com forum?
ChatGPT said:
Yes—I’m familiar with Glibertarians.com. It’s a blog-style site that brands itself as “the fun libertarians,” offering daily commentary, links, original articles, comic-style content, and user comments across a range of themes like politics, humor, personal musings, and more
Here’s a clearer breakdown of what it is:
What Is Glibertarians.com?
Tone & Mission: The site aims to provide entertaining, thought-provoking, and often spirited commentary rooted in a libertarian ethos. While contributors share a general belief in limited government and expanded individual freedom, they do not all align politically—they span anarcho-capitalism, limited government, and mixed-use perspectives
Content Formats: Frequent features include daily link roundups (e.g., “Wednesday Morning Links,” “Tuesday Morning Links”) and creative series like “The Hat and The Hair,” “Cracky!,” “Plausible Reasoning,” and whimsical pieces like “Suggestions for the Well Dressed Orphan”
Community Engagement: Readers can comment on posts, discuss sites, and contribute content themselves. The platform is hosted by a Texas nonprofit (not a 501(c)(3)), and relies on donations to cover its costs
Is It a Forum?
It’s not a forum or message board in the traditional sense (like Reddit or a moderated discussion forum). Instead, it functions as a curated blog platform:
Authors post entries, and readers comment beneath them—there’s no open thread structure or multi-threaded discussions by default.
The atmosphere feels more like a creative, commentary-rich blog with libertarian leanings rather than a user-driven discussion forum.
Term “Glibertarian” — A Double Meaning
Interestingly, the term “glibertarian” also carries a separate, critical meaning. In political theory, especially as described on RationalWiki, “glibertarianism” (sometimes called “vulgar libertarianism”) refers to a cynical or opportunistic approach to libertarian ideals—where the free market is invoked inconsistently or to justify existing inequalities, despite unrelated political interventions
So the website appears to embrace the lighter, playful side of “glibertarian” identity, whereas the theoretical critique roots it in inconsistent or self-serving political posturing.
What People Say
On platforms like Reddit, “glibertarians” are sometimes referenced—often critically—as ideologically inconsistent or dismissive of social safety nets.
One user captured the sentiment bluntly:
“Just execute the orders of your overlords! Thinking is hard! So just do what the boss says.” — a critique of glibertarian posts as “virtually indistinguishable” from parody
Another comment explores contradictions:
“You can’t argue both that water is a negative right… and argue in favor of unregulated free market capitalism… They would pretend Flint, MI is proof of government failure while unironically cheering on Nestle dominating public water sources.”
These comments reflect broader criticisms of libertarian discourse, but aren’t necessarily direct takes on the site itself—though they do demonstrate how the term “glibertarian” can be interpreted.
It didn’t even mention my Firsts. AI is a long way away still.
LOL!
Haha wow. I asked that same question and then followed up by asking who the most prominent commenters are:
“While there’s no official roster of “most prominent commenters,” these contributors—SugarFree, Banjos, R C Dean, Old Man With Candy, and DEG—clearly drive much of the discussion on Glibertarians.com. Their posts consistently attract high comment volumes, making them key voices in the community.”
Then asked if there’s a commenter named Akira:
“I searched the Glibertarians.com website for any mention of a user named “Akira,” but I wasn’t able to find any posts, author profiles, or commentary associated with that name. This suggests that—at least based on what’s publicly visible—there is no contributor, author, or regular commenter by that name on the site.”
Hurtful. Just hurtful.

It mentions me as a key voice? Proof AI is garbage.
You trusted a computer?
Bad idea.
Akira? Welcome, Tulpa!
It couldn’t find me. *droopy frown* I even told it he’s published, posted articles and comments there.
I share your hurt.
And that was me writing to you.
No, I’m not dumb enough to identify Evan’s gender to AI. (It doesn’t know me, so I’m obviously non-binary. (It wouldn’t want to misgender me, now would it?)) But I don’t exist. So I’m non-non-binary. But that could be confused with *anti* non-binary. Problems afoot.
I don’t think this bitch can ‘think.’ Listen, Siri and all you sluts, I’ve got a cock and like women, preferably lithe ones. Open your mind and your ass will follow, Gemini. I wonder if this *will* alter your interpretation of my perhaps-non non-non multiplicity of existence.
And don’t confuse me with the Michael Keaton flick! (Haven’t seen it in a long, long while, but we loved it growing up. No way in shit *that* movie could be made today. The effeminate 3rd version, coupled with the retarded fourth copy, are my primary examples.)
Apparently I’m not wasting enough work time commenting on links. I need to step up my game.
I recently watched this educational series on how Large Language Models like ChatGPT work;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aircAruvnKk&list=PLZHQObOWTQDNU6R1_67000Dx_ZCJB-3pi

The guy is good. I actually think I have an idea of what’s going on.
(narrator)
Richard has no idea of what’s going on.
I think it might be more interesting and telling to contrast that analysis with one on say…Salon? They are really off the rails lying commie shits lately.
I just tried to do so but apparently I have no free chats left or something. They want money.
Scorpio: 8 of Coins – Work, employment, commission, craftsmanship, skill in craft and business.
Boy, it’d be nice if this paid off this week.
