https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgffRW1fKDk Today when this drops I'll be having lunch at SWAT's range during the "thank you for working our steel shoot" steel shoot. There's nothing to indicate that this will go badly in particular, but this is in general not the...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mj58IHA3urc Still haven't recovered from the travel nonsense. Today, Leo gets a boost from Mars, which is a synergistic pairing. Tomorrow has an annoyingly ambiguous sign. It could mean your house catches some stray bullets, or it could...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W16Szy__gBY Yeah, this one snuck up on me. Next year I am not doing this sort of travel schedule again. But this should publish probably when I only have another 84 shooters left to run, then the awards dinner and then waiting...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-LBDFbVqMA The problem with casting these on an "as needed" basis is that sometimes I discover things that would have (potentially) been really useful to know a while back. Like this week: It a very auspicious time to get married,...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSKDyoYvEoc My favorite Spanish Pop-Mashup cover show band. This was a particularly chill summer. I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, but the ticks have been less of a problem than previous years (though of course the fall...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEORxpfQMTA This is the way the month ends. We're all familiar with parasocial relationships in terms of social media and/or influencers. Something similar exists in the shooting community. I've been working Nationals Matches since...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvSbQB6-UdY Finally! The last road work column. I'll have another one of these next month, and maybe one in October when the lady friend comes to visit but otherwise it will be good to be home. When this publishes I should know whether...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A5Xl9hPowA Luck and Love are the governing forces this week. Venus has a couple of auspicious arrangements tomorrow and Tuesday. Mercury picks up the handoff until a alignment with Jupiter on Saturday. Libra benefits most from these...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqP1lsPVnXE Not too much going on in the shy this week. Leo gets two bonus lucky days (tomorrow and Wednesday). Cancer gets punched in the mouf on Tuesday. Tomorrow warns of conflicts at home, quite possibly getting out of hand on...
Working.
"P-Hacking" is the practice when you've collected a lot of data, and then try to correlate them in all possible ways, relying on random chance to prove something "statistically significant." The interface that my shooting sports uses to report out results...
Moar.
Starting next week I have four weeks on the road out of the next eight. Hopefully I'll remember to write enough of these beforehand. There's a pretty simple story playing out this week in the sky: MERCURY RETROGRADE gains increasingly greater influence over Jupiter...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3oexvo6G-0 So a (probably hack) gunwriter has their magazines collected by obsessive manga-ka, who has their work collected by obsessive weeaboo. It's the chain of autism! This week is about the increasing influence of MERCURY...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekM0VflXyok Unlike last week, this week has all sorts of goodies. Let's take this day-by-day. Today - Mars moves into Gemini, so excessive use of force is authorized. Tomorrow: MERCURY RETROGRADE begins. Remain calm. All is not well,...
Things are a bit behind schedule here, But as far as the skies are concerned that's no big deal, because the only warning happens on Saturday, and is annoyingly vague. It's either violent trauma or something involving a soldier. Happy Summer! Is a good time to be a...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eozkIGlrww One of the core functions of astrology is to determine when to do things for maximum benefit. Whether that's going to war, planting a crop, or conceiving an heir (which I guess is the same thing) people would consult the...
Why would someone leave a wig and plain black hat on a fencepost, with an undecorated black jacket a few yards away? This set Lily into guardian mode too. Interestingly enough, it was still there nearly a week after it first appeared, so I guess nobody wanted to get...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTzGMEfbnAw The 1980's were a good decade for songs with "Angel" prominently in the title. However lets be honest: This is really a 1970's song. Another week of mostly nothing, but an entertainingly complicated little bit of good stuff...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNwC0sp-uA4 When this goes live, I'll be in New Tripoli, PA which I hope is nicer than the original Tripoli. I'm sure there was some time in history when Libya was not a terrible place, but I honestly don't know when that was. I am not...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ki6xHnDAwHw The good times are rolling. The week starts off well but as the moon sweeps though alignments with Venus and Jupiter on Thursday we run out of good things happening. But that's still been an excellent run sky-wise. And it's...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acb-js00c40 Shooting season is weird here. It starts later than most because of the whole "winter and NYers are pussies" thing, then can be delayed because of the legendary "April Showers" and then BAM! It's time for the major matches....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIbXvaE39wM We are still in the glow of that unusual bit of Celestial Harmony from last week, though it is fading. Of course this week as bad signs, but they're not unusually terrible and they don't last long so this is a generally good...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS0uS8Tfyt4 Huh. Things are not supposed to suck? For an extended period of time? Really? Yes, really! For those of you that like to follow along at home, get your orreries out and spin the planets into today's position. OK, see how you...
https://youtu.be/glb2U6y-GdU?list=RDglb2U6y-GdU&t=19 The sun moves into Taurus this week, so there's where the theme comes from. Signs are up from Aries, but everyone knows that beef > mutton. The week starts off hopefully with the Moon and Venus bringing the...
