I just got a new phone set up and between an hour or so ago and now I have somehow completely forgotten the old phone’s PIN that I have entered numerous times over the years and I need to enter it now in order to erase it so I can trade it in.
I think I need to give up until tomorrow and just start drinking instead.

I am thinking (again) of moving to mothership-town, aka the corner of Superior and Ninth.
It works because (a) I want to keep my job and (b) it has the virtue of not really having to think about where my next move is going to be. Putting too much thought into where I thought I might want to live led to where I live now and I kind of hate it here lol.
I lost another coworker a couple months ago because he refused to “return to the office”. Well, I haven’t been in the office – which is five hours away – in three years.

The biggest culture shock for you here would likely be the necessity of learning to drive. I can’t imagine living here relying on public transit and ride shares.

I don’t “do” much these days so it’s not like I need that added expense right now. Just need easy access to food and medical care.
