Its been a while. What have you been up to? What not interested?

Listen, I’m just trying to have a conversation here. No need to get worked up. I’m not the one too embarrassed to go the the ER because a vibrator stuck in my ass. Just hold still while I figure out how to turn this off…

A Tinder…for what? Social media is a goddamn toilet.

Sure, money printer go brrrrrrrrrrr, lol.

Oh, Jesus titty-fucking Christ, that explains it.

Damn, what happened to Urkel?

You will get nothing, AND LIKE IT.”

Figures, she’s resemble a Goblin.

Finally! My nemesis emeritus is back, sort of. He gets one thing right: tariffs were levied in an unpredictable manner and that creates problems for business. The problem with his analysis is the assertion Trump upended 90 years of trade policy. As if the last 90 years was some sort of free market utopia. Before someone links the scene from Ferris Bueller where conservative economist, Ben Stein, explains the tariffs only exasperated the Depression—yes these are bullshit. You know and I know these are bullshit. Except there were dozens of stupid economic decisions made by FDR that only recently historians are beginning to be honest about creating bigger issues that a down cycle. Tariffs on its own is still something of an unknown, especially since not nearly enough time has passed to actually see results within the context of being the worlds largest economy and the worlds reserve currency. Bottom line is the current shit economy is the same shit economy since 2008 which is largely born of inflation. But I’m sure its easier to just blame the Orange Man as the conclusion and work backwards than hand waiving decades of columns in the biggest newspaper in the country simping for the types of economic cocksucking that lead to out current predicament.

So next year is when the real shitshow begins!

I am too lazy to look it up and I can’t remember because the third grade was so long ago….at what age does one acquire 1A rights?

    • Rat on a train

At the time you register to vote for the correct party?

      • Fourscore

Accurate. When you are paying your own bills you get 1st A and 9 more as well.

    • Bobarian LMD

“Look here, son, we have a bill of rights in this house. You are free to say what ever you want to your mother and I. You are also free to live with no phone, internet, or social life… or teeth. You are free to start paying rent. There is no such thing as unreasonable search and seizure. You are free to do what ever I tell you to do. If you feel you have some rights not listed here, feel free to re-read the previous right.”

as always my first question is what the fuck are the parents doing.

This. It is the parent’s responsibility not the govt’s. A parent less competent than the government for that job is almost like hen’s teeth despite what they would. have you believe.

What is clear is that homelessness in California has skyrocketed in the five years Homekey has been in place, growing by more than 20%, according to the Public Policy Institute of California. That’s an increase of some 36,000 people between 2019 and 2024.

The latest example involves the nonprofit Urban Alchemy, which was awarded a $2.3 million Project Homekey contract to provide 88 designated tent spaces in a parking lot so homeless individuals can legally set up tents and access meals, bathrooms, and other services. A city inspection revealed that the lot was operating at half capacity, with only 44 bare wooden platforms on site.

    • rhywun

To be fair, California drawing more vagrants like flies probably means fewer of them in some lucky jurisdictions in other states. In that sense, it’s “working” for some.

      • R.J.

Yes. I am in San Fran right now – in the “good” part of town so I have seen zero evidence of homelessness or piles of poo. I was told I need to head to South San Fran to see the issue.

Any owner who cares not to be ripped off should have the bank’s monthly checking account statement sent directly to him/her. Nice video from Jason. I didn’t realize how the “i” series tracked the management change a decline of BMW to vehicles I don’t care about anymore.

As a city car I like the i3 and its design and materials choice. Problem was cost. It isn’t a driver car and wasn’t designed as one. That’s ok, people in urban areas need transportation. However, because of the narrow tires and suspension design it rides way too stiff. Not good for non Europe cities.

I can understand why states don’t execute people with extremely low intellectual capabilities, but the idea that stupidity should be a mitigating factor for criminality in general is odd

Low IQ and low impulse control are the two biggest factors associated with criminality (and they correlate). If we accept it as mitigation, then we accept most crime. The primary aim of prison is to incapacitate people who will otherwise continue to offend

or rather it is genetic and women with low iq are much likelier to be single mothers. And live in poor areas and bang low IQ men.

      • PieInTheSky

i remember that outcomes are not as bad for single mothers who are widows. So single motherhood may be a proxy for low iq / irresponsible behavior.

      • PieInTheSky

The racist hot-take of “it’s genetic” is also not explanatory, because US black Americans more than double the sub-Saharan Africa murder rate – doea anyone take the official sub-Saharan Africa murder rate seriously?

Anyway nothing is pure genetics, environment matters. But nothing is pure environment.

      • UnCivilServant

Do they even keep accurate records in Subsaharan Africa?

      • EvilSheldon

I strongly doubt that IQ is a heavily genetic trait. But I’ll bet the price of a beer that high IQ can be correlated to certain parental behaviors that are less present among single mother households. Such as reading to one’s children, minimizing television and Internet time, and reviewing children’s schoolwork.

      • PieInTheSky

I strongly doubt that IQ is a heavily genetic trait – hones question, why? and what does heavily mean to you? does not make sense to me. Most things have quite a genetic influence. Intelligence as well.

      • PieInTheSky

certain parental behaviors are in no way influenced by parental intelligence?

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Sure, Pie. What came first, the idiot or the egg?

      • PieInTheSky

        the egg obviously.

      • EvilSheldon

hones question, why? and what does heavily mean to you?

Second question first – What I mean is, I think that the genetic component of IQ is weak compared to the environmental components. Further, I think that the races (or phenotypes, if you prefer) that trend towards high IQ have integrated many of those environmental components into their greater culture.

As for the why, well, it’s anecdotal, but I’ve seen too many intelligent parents raise dumbfuck children, through poor, lazy parenting.

      • ron73440

But I’ll bet the price of a beer that high IQ can be correlated to certain parental behaviors that are less present among single mother households.

The first born* is more likely to have a higher IQ from the extra time parents spend with them compared to later kids, so I’m 100% sure you are correct.

*I am the oldest and definitely the smartest out of all my brothers.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

Agreed ES. I’m not sure any studies have been done that have effectively managed to control for the cultural components. It’d be interesting to see IQ evals of adoptees that were raised by different race parents.

      • PieInTheSky

dumbfuck as in truly unintelligent? or just dumb fucks? I honestly did not see this too often.

Intelligent parents can have smart children and vice versa by genetics. Being polygenic the configuration of genes can change. So you can have smart parents and be born stupid due to the luck of the draw. And the other way around.

But overall, broadly, intelligent parents do tent to have intelligent children.

I see no reason to not see heredity as at least 40 to 50 percent. And what data we have broadly agrees. Some as high as 60% but who knows.

      • PieInTheSky

*I am the oldest and definitely the smartest out of all my brothers. – I will need to hear your brothers all agree on that one

      • PieInTheSky

I do not do racial comparisons as Romania is fairly homogeneous. But I see no reason for intelligence not to have a significant inherited component like any other trait. And I think many people oppose due to wishful thinking, as it is a quite unpleasant thing. It is much nicer to belie everyone is just as smart and can make it if they just have the right environment. Anyhoo.

      • kinnath

I think genetics plays a large role in IQ, whatever the fuck that is.

Parents and environment create a mindset and teach skills that lead to success. But that builds on some innate ability. I turned out a math/science geek. My middle brother turned out an art geek (with an MFA). Same parents, same environment, completely different intellectual abilities. But we are both very successful in what we do.

      • ron73440

*I am the oldest and definitely the smartest out of all my brothers. – I will need to hear your brothers all agree on that one

      • (((Jarflax

It seems very unlikely that any attribute is not predominately genetic. If it turns out to be true it would be fairly unique in that regard. I am sure poor environmental factors can limit (dare I say retard?) it’s expression in individuals, and across a broader culture, but I’d be shocked if the underlying capacity did not vary genetically.

      • ron73440

I’m a nerd that knows too many random facts. – well if your so smart why are you not Elon Musk?

Just because I’m smarter than my brothers does not mean I am really all that smart, it’s kind of a low bar.

James O’Keefe goes on a date.

Jonathan Franklin, a current University adjunct professor & former NPR correspondent who built his career on issues of race, culture, & justice, was recorded making openly racist remarks during an undercover date with James O’Keefe.

Franklin, scheduled to teach a Georgetown course on interviewing and sourcing, labeled Black conservatives such as Candace Owens, Lawrence Jones, & Clarence Thomas as “coons,” & mocked his colleagues, saying he “works with stupid white people.”

He also falsely claimed he was a national correspondent for CBS, a claim he later admitted was untrue.

During the confrontation, Franklin attempted to assault an OMG cameraman before fleeing the scene.
