The US women beat Canada, and the Canucks are having a hard time just saying their team lost. Toto Wolff, who I do not generally like, made a pretty funny joke about the people complaining about the Mercedes PU. So of course the Euro and rest of the world outside the US media lost their shit. And in soccer, VfB demolished Celtic on the road in a their Europa play-in first round. I’m irritated because I should have been there but my German buddy had to cancel his trip and I wasn’t going into that Hamasnik stadium alone, so I stayed home. And that’s it for sports.

I’m curious to see the fallout from these suits. I think the verdicts are preordained, so I’m waiting to see the aftermath. Sadly, they couldn’t haul 50m parents in for trial as class-action defendants for not controlling or at least monitoring what their kids were doing online. But those people don’t have as much money, so they were never going to be held as responsible as the deep-pocketed companies.

A lawyer actually does his job and people are freaking out? This should be what every lawyer tells his client before and during every single deposition they’re involved in. Just maybe hold the mic a little further away next time, ok?

Wow, this would be amazing. Ultimately its final discovery will be on the same timeline as cold fusion reactors, I bet. But they money will keep flowing in, which os what matters.
