If you want a decent presentation on reporting to a state regulator. I might need more than 30 mins notice…

¡enlaces!

They’re sending in the Federales. Tourist pocketbooks hardest hit.

Its a telenovella for men.

Whats the likelihood this was a publicity stunt?

Zorro Ranch? The simulation writers need to do better.

A friendly takeover? He’s going to assassinate their heads of state isn’t he?

Hard to make a joke about this, especially when assassinations and black bag ops seem to be working.

A classic. Oddly appropriate today

It’s what women do. They judge us even when you think they aren’t.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

Are you saying that it is an existential part of their nature, and is all they Camus?

    • Aloysious

Her gaze hasn’t pierced, breached, or topped my wall of indifference and apathy.

First heard that song about 70 years ago, sitting in a little bar in the country. My friends and I kept poking nickels in the jute box and drinking Grain Belt.

    Thanks for the memories, MS.

    • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

As a child of the 80s I first heard that song as performed by Wall of Voodoo. It was not on Mexican radio however.

Pardo is a 20-year-old US-Mexican dual national, according to the Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office. She is a prominent voice online, where she has amassed more than 180,000 followers on Instagram and more than 145,000 on TikTok. She also has a YouTube channel and an OnlyFans account.

Publicity stunt odds approaching triple digits.

    Approaching 100%.

A Zorro ranch should be in California.

    • The Other Kevin

This was Epstein. Everything he did was perverted.

  5. Pat

    They’re sending in the Federales.

From the caption under the lede photo:

There is less than 100 days until the start of the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States

No, there are fewer than 100 days until the start of the 2026 World Cup. Jesus Christ, didn’t you people invent this language?

Also, the cop on the left is kinda cute.

    • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

      Muy caliente.

    • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

I would let her guard me.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

But, hopefully she won’t beret the cause.

      • Pat

That pun deserves a tip of the hat.

  6. Drake

Amazing that the Feds never search Zorro Ranch even after an Epstein email just casually talked about bury 2 girls there who died during rough sex. Seems like the cadaver dogs and ground radar teams should have been there years ago.

    • The Other Kevin

I’m sure the whole place is well preserved and left just as it was the last time Jeff was there.

      • Suthenboy

Apparently there are rumors of bodies buried on the property.

  7. robc

I don’t support Trump’s actions, but at least most Venezuelans, Iranians, and Cubans won’t be upset about it. So its got that going for it.

The cruise missile it would take is probably worth more than Cuba’s GDP. The only possible way we come out ahead is if we force Cuba to take Puerto Rico and Guam, and we can all pretend the Spanish-American war never happened.

    • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

I am open to your terms.

    • slumbrew

Spurs must be absolute panic mode right now.

      • robc

I wanted Spurs to win CL and get relegated. This timeline is slightly less fun.

      • robc

On the other hand, Galatasaray is leading over Liverpool, so this timeline has a lot going for it.

    • Wood Chipped Wednesday

Not sure what in specific you’re mentioning…

All I know is Brasil sucks in baseball. Had I not torn my shit in my elbow, I think i could’ve had a decent chance to go play for them lol.

Slumbrew got one, and two other from the same tournament.

The US and Venezuela have agreed to re-establish diplomatic and consular relations.

The agency said in a statement that the two sides would make joint efforts to promote stability, support economic recovery and advance political reconciliation.

Looks like payara may be back on the list of “fish I’ll travel to catch, hopefully before I die.”

I am starting to wonder if Trump is tying up the loose ends that have kept the foreign policy end of the MIC funded for 80 years.

I mean, Brennen came out against the Iran action, and you know you have to think the opposite of that POS.

    • Pat

It honestly might be as simple and petty as getting snubbed for the peace prize. But it has been rather hilarious watching neocon sacks of shit like Bill Kristol, who’s been stumping for a war with Iran for 25 years, turn into iSoLAtiOniSt peaceniks when Trump does it.

    • EvilSheldon

I mean, Brennen came out against the Iran action, and you know you have to think the opposite of that POS.

Scott Ritter as well. I was surprised to learn that fucking pederast wasn’t still in prison…

I think it’s funny being in a freshman level Political Science class at my small Liberal Arts university. So many dumb fucks in here with TDS who can’t even imagine anyone else but them is right.

I’m also tired of hearing how voting third party is a waste of a vote and how if you do, you’re not educated politically.

    • Pat

I’m also tired of hearing how voting third party is a waste of a vote and how if you do, you’re not educated politically.

No need for multiple parties when one party is the true expression of the will of the proletariat, comrade. Same as it ever was.

  12. Wood Chipped Wednesday

I had seen recently an article written by a friend of my dad. In this article was the argument that public school teachers should ALL be put onto the ballot and be voted into their job, giving the people more school choice and freedom of who is teaching their kids.

People in my aforementioned class did not approve.

    • slumbrew

Teachers are selfless heros, it is known. Who are we to question their praxis?

    • Pat

The principle is fine enough, but the practicality would be no different than the setup we have now. Next to nobody besides a handful of moonbat activists paid by the teacher unions is going to show up to vote for every hiring decision. The problem of electing morons can’t really be resolved with more elections – it’s the morons that are the problem.

      • cyto

Yeah… even worse than local judge, DA and school board elections. Nobody pays attention to these elections. Judges cant even campaign beyond their name. So how are you supposed to choose?

  13. The Late P Brooks

To be sure, democracy, in theory, is a good idea…

British youtuber tracks down 3 stolen cars. 1st turned out to be a repossession.

Second? Police couldnt be bothered. Gave them a report number. No investigation.

    But the 3rd. Yeah…

2 armed guys break in to a family home. They demand the keys to his $150k range rover. He resists for a while, but then the wife and daughter wake up abd come downstairs, so to protect them he hands over the keys.

Police come and give chase but lose the car.

Youtuber tracks car to a chop shop.

Police arrive in force. Drones, dogs. Evidence vans. Everything.

Catch 2 guys red handed stripping the car down. Almost completely stripped.

    Yay, right?

Owner gets a subsequent update. No charges for the thieves due to problems with evidence.

Caught stripping the car after violent burglary and armed robbery, plus evading in chase.

    No charges.

    Sound familiar?

Youtuber frames it as something going wrong in the country. Odd that we should have the same problem here at the same time.

    • The Other Kevin

In college we had a lot of professors from India and Pakistan. One from Pakistan got a similar education when someone robbed his apartment. He asked our class what the point of the police was. They showed, up, “took some notes”, told him he wouldn’t be getting his things back, and that was the end of it.

    • Aloysious

The thieves must have been ‘asian’.

They could only have been moar innocent if they had underage English girls close by that they were’babysitting’.

I snark, and now I must go outside.

  15. The Late P Brooks

The “voting” should be done by students. Let the students choose their teachers and see who gets chosen by 100 kids and who gets chosen by 2.

Same-sex couples more vulnerable to the negative effects of climate change

A new report by the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law finds that same-sex couples are at greater risk of experiencing the adverse effects of climate change compared to different-sex couples. LGBT people in same-sex couple households disproportionately live in coastal areas and cities and areas with poorer infrastructure and less access to resources, making them more vulnerable to climate hazards.

    [sigh of weary resignation]

    • The Other Kevin

You have to admire the creativity of spinning “a lot of gay people live in San Francisco” into making them victims of the right-wing cabal.

    • bacon-magic

How will they procreate while having to deal with Climate Change™?!??

    • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

That’s weird. My understanding is that a lot of gentrification is done by gay couples because they are DINKs with lots of disposable income. Though I guess that maybe jibes. They willfully move into poorer areas to fix them up.
