    I’m so sorry about the damage to your house, Spud. I hope insurance takes out some of the financial sting, if not the hassle of actually getting everything fixed. 😟

        If the insurer tries to fuck you a public adjuster is a middle ground between getting an attorney.

        Insurance won’t pay for the initial repair, i.e. the burst heater pipe, but the collateral damage should be covered subject to the policy and its limits.

    I’ve dealt with water leaks in the past. Just about anyplace else in the house, this would have been much worse.
