Survey says I’m a Paleolibertarian bitches. That means I eat “L”ibertarians for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Soave tastes a little fruity. Wait a minute, that doesn’t sound quite right…

    Napping Linked to Dementia Risk

Damn. That’s one of the things I was most looking forward to in retirement. 😞️

    • Drake

I’m sure retirement is linked to dementia too.

      • Fourscore

I hope not, Drake, but something I can look forward to.

I rarely take a nap, though the 5 o’clock news seems to be 5 minutes long.

    • Trigger Hippie

Fuck naps. Power through that shit with more coffee.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

And none of that energy drink crap!

      • Trigger Hippie

        Yeeaahhh!

Continuing on my comment last night about Europe finding out…

    “French” unrest.

I’m guessing most of the rioters are about as French as the Germans were during 1940-1945.

    • R C Dean

Its either a taste of the grape, or France will be ruled by Africans and Muslims (via white proxies for awhile, perhaps). Place your bets, ladies and gentlemen.

    • Chafed

The videos I’ve seen suggest the rioters are a mix of natives and foreign born.

  3. R C Dean

    Posted for the childish humor.

    I larfed.

      Acting Inspector Iain Pidcock

      Must be an Ottawa thing.

Ilham’s whole background is murky, made up jobs and never a venture into any thing productive.

Yet she has been able to hang on and rise politically. Deflection and lack of conscience are assets.

    • PieInTheSky

It is rather blackpilling that the political system has 0 defense against such things

Continuing on my comment last night about Europe finding out…

Given this is clearly far left political violence, the word terrorism is suspiciously missing from most press coverage.

    • Fourscore

Let’s destroy the economy and complain about the lack of public spending.

What comes next? At some point it has to end. Third/fourth world?

      • PieInTheSky

What lack of public spending? No one spends more than France

    Our friend Animal holds forth.

I have a feeling there is less than meets to eye to China

        What confuses you?

      • R C Dean

        Overlooked the link. Carry on.

    • juris imprudent

We must have a scary foe to justify the bloated budget. No one really understands the Chinese.

If only they were more scrutable.

David Zaslav is leaving Warner Bros. Discovery with $606 million in his pockets following its merger into the larger Skydance empire, an extraordinary payday for an executive whose four-year tenure was defined by layoffs, cost-cutting, canceled projects, removed content, and a relentless effort to reduce the debt created by the merger that put him in charge.

The payout, disclosed in a securities filing last week, comes as the newly combined media empire prepares for another round of restructuring, having already warned employees of “difficult decisions that affect our workforce.”

🚨BREAKING: A distressed woman is restrained by left-wing thugs and forced to watch her livelihood

    Jarvis
    @jarvis_best
She does seem upset, but that’s probably because there’s no one from Cato Institute there to remind her that rebuilding from all this will have significant economic benefits.

And half the animals are filming it with their fucking cameras.

    • EvilSheldon

True, but still kind of a cheap shot. What with all the progressive activists who are really truly telling her how she should be proud to live in such a vibrant multicultural society…

      • PieInTheSky

Cato is full retarded open borders my dude

      • EvilSheldon

I know. And as bad as they are, the progressive activist class is worse in every way.

For one thing, the progressives actually have considerable power.

    • Raven Nation

I saw this posted somewhere else and there was a suggestion she had been a pro-immigration activist who called opponents islamophobic.

The reasons for Atlanta’s and Golden State’s absences Saturday were not immediately clear.

With a big snap of “BLACK LIVES MATTER” painted on the court right below.

Yeah, it is a mystery. 🙄

The best part of the WNBA is the NBA has to subsidize it.

      • rhywun

I didn’t even know the teams were pulling that shit – I mean, who would know? – but one wonder how long even NBA dollar$ are going to keep putting up with it.

Do the fans, such as they are, really not care…?

  11. rhywun

there are hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of people in the country right now who are from nations known to be unfriendly to the United States

    That’s putting it mildly.

And some of them get elected to national offices.

    • EvilSheldon

And many if not most of them were born here.

      • rhywun

As in France. My guess is all those rioting “students” are 2nd or 3rd generation.

Another week in Germany for work. This time our crew was about 80% female and to a man, er woman, every time any politics came up, which was a lot, each one of them had to ritually bash Trump. The males in the group, A Brazilian, a German and myself just nodded sagely and didn’t say anything. A couple of the gals were election judges and both of them went on long rants about how election fraud was simply impossible since they had all these procedures which prevented this and they knew everything about the voters already. One of them leaned into me and said sotte voce, “all these MAGA people are racist, unintelligent and uneducated”. There was also something in there about Christian nationalism too but I didn’t catch it. I was already two beers in and was tempted to say something but thankfully the subject changed before I did.

    • R C Dean

I honestly don’t know how a nation as divided as ours is now (in so many ways, too) can survive in its current form in the long run.

      • PieInTheSky

        ditto

      • Common Tater

        I blame foreign propaganda.

    • rhywun

I would march right into HR and demand they put a stop to an obviously hostile work environment. I mean, that is what they’re there for.

“A former Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) scientist won a legal victory this week after losing his position following sexual misconduct allegations made by a female colleague.

Dr. David Sabatini, a former MIT biology professor and prominent biomedical researcher, was awarded $6 million in damages Friday after a jury found that his former colleague, Dr. Kristin Knouse, had defamed him…..

“The sad reality of our time is that society still has a difficult time believing women and appreciating the difficulty they encounter with men who too often control their fate,” Knouse’s attorney, Ellen Zuker, said in a statement to the New York Times.”

In the current NYC DOE it’s probably safer to do so.

“Venezuelan composer Gus Ormo was found “tied up” and submerged at the bottom of his South Florida backyard pool in a death that authorities have called a “suspicious incident.”

Ormo, a piano virtuoso and singer known for his romantic compositions, was pronounced dead at the scene after Broward County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call at around 9 am, officials said.”

“There is an “emergency” of violence against women and girls in the US, an activist charged on Saturday, pointing to a crop of alleged heinous sexual acts, including the fatal drugging and rape of a Fashion Institute of Technology student, as proof of a “crisis.”

“I feel that this is coming to light at the same time as the Cornell case, which is also sparking controversy right now. At the end of the day what she went through was horrible and I think these type of cases deserve more justice for the victims.””

I can’t keep up. I thought the protests were school students protesting school conditions, now I’m reading they’re cost of living protests.
