I wish football would actually get here. The dog days suck. Oh yeah, Wimbledon is underway. But that’s it for sports unless somebody wants to talk about the two shocking CWC results. If so, I’m all ears in the comments.
I don’t think the author knows what the word “exclusion” means. They’re still free to play soccer. They can form their own league or play with their actual sex. Also, it’s July now. The month where we have that shit shoved down our throats is over.
Welp, that’s that. I suppose the media will fixate on some other extreme outlier case now. And there’s always the Diddy trial jury deliberations if they need to do so on short notice.
This fucking guy… Has the motherfucker ever bothered opening a history book or read about any current events since, say, his career started?
This guy has social media figured out. God bless him and his hilarious trolling.
And this guy has the biggest balls in the world. God bless him and his amazing swimming.
This headline is one way to frame the situation. Another would be to”state can no longer compel Alphabet ideology be jammed down the throat of children when they’re supposed to be learning math and science and shit.”
Is there nobody else in the world than can provide this kind of stuff? I’m just curious, since there seems to be some kind off global outrage the minute Daddy Sugar cuts off the free shit spigot.
There’s always Twin Peaks. Or Bombshells. or TailGators.
I didn’t know the prices could go up anymore.Of course they’re blaming something that hasn’t even passed yet as the cause of the problems they’ve been creating for decades now.
This is an interesting case. I guess I’m gonna have to side with the venue operators, unless the state put specific language in the lease saying state law dictates that it be deemed public property during the event.
Here’s some good stuff. Really good stuff, actually. And here’s some great stuff. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Tuesday, dear friends.

It’s July already?
That’s a fact, Jack..
Owen League? So like a Welsh thing I guess?
::sigh::
Now I’ve got to go look and see what other typos I may have made.
“so so” instead of “do so” on the Diddy thing (but it’s clear from the context).
But, is it a League of Their Owen?
And did they Welch on any bets?
Oh, you didn’t know being an actor makes you an expert on foreign policy?
Everyone knows that being good at reading other people’s words and play acting other people’s imagined actions makes you an expert on what everyone else should do.
And, after all — Hollywood and the entertainment industry is well known for having the most constructive, fiscally stable and mentally solid personal lives, so they’re the perfect people to morally lead the rest of the country.
(Love that he’s also all in for the NYC Dem mayor probable with jabs at “billionaires” and “Dem establishment” needing to pay their share…. “Why did you lead me to this trench?” indeed…)
Morning all.
When your primary talent is adopting personae on demand, you are paid immense sums for your work which allow you to live a life where a staff insulates you from any contact with unpleasant reality, and you live in a leftist echo chamber, clueless leftism is hard to avoid.
Cusack appears to be a special kind of stupid.
Look, I’ve played a doctor literally hundreds of times, just let me cut you open a little.
Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night? Because I’m good with it if did.
Rocker’s issues began after Sports Illustrated published a feature written by Jeff Pearlman in which he espoused plenty of vitriol toward New York Yorkers, complaining about the number of foreigners — “How the hell did they get in this country?” — and comparing a trip on the 7 train to riding through “Beirut.”
No one ever claimed that Rocker was wrong, just “insensitive.”
And yet the sports writers get to be nasty region bigots to to people from flyover country.
“The UN has said that some 67,000 incidences of rape have been recorded since then with many more likely going unreported.”
….and we did most of them
If the UN peacekeepers can track the rapes, perhaps they ought to try stopping the rapes rather than bitching that the US is no longer sending the rape kits.
Or they could send their own. Heaven forbid they do something they deem is necessary rather than just bitch that the US is no longer doing it.
Or, more likely, they can help thousands of Congolese immigrate to western countries – thereby lowering the rate of rapes in the Congo.
It has nothing to do with rape kits. It is simply about ending that source of graft and money laundering to elect Democrats.
I’d be surprised to learn that the Congo has a legal system that can do DNA analysis and actually use rape kits to find and convict the rapists.
It doesn’t sound like they are forensic rape kits, but “morning after pills” and HIV prevention.
So in other words, it probably has very little to do with rape.
This headline is one way to frame the situation.
They want to impose their theocracy — with the state as God — on everyone else.
I tapped out I was laughing so hard at the tedious hand-wringing.
The lack of shame there is breathtaking.
Twisted Kilt was the last of the breastaurants to be in business out here. And they closed probably 10 years ago or more. Now you have to go to the strip club or a Waffle House to see waitresses with their tits and ass hanging out.
Wasn’t it Tilted Kilt?
You are correct.
I go to the box and I feel shame.
I think I went in one once because I thought it was gonna be a Scottish bar or something.
Sadly, I think the one I went into was one they staffed with people they could use as an example of their open hiring process should they be sued for discrimination based on appearance.
Looked like a live action version of the scene in Fantasia where the hippos danced around in tutus.
I think I went in one once because I thought it was gonna be a Scottish bar or something.
You don’t have to lie to us.
And they’re still around. I dropped into their Las Vegas location last time I was in Vegas. The chain has gone downhill.
As opposed to the patrons?
You and I have gone to very different Waffle Houses apparently. Or you’re into 60 year old chain smoking grandma waitresses (who I’ve still never seen dress provocatively).
At what point did I say you would want to see the tits and ass that were hanging out?
And, as Ted S. pointed out, I didn’t say who would be letting it hang.
So Winston’s Mom works at the Waffle House?
Winston’s Mom offers something scattered, smothered and covered, but it ain’t potatoes.
True story, wife wanted to try a “new” Irish restaurant that opened near us back in 2007. She dragged me to the Tilted Kilt. I was reluctant to try it, but think I suggested it everytime after.
😂
“inclusion of trans players in sports has long been a divisive issue”
OFFS no it has not.
It certainly was designed and done to divide sane people from loons, however from what I am seeing..
Be fair, there is a divide. It is between people who like watching girls hurt and humiliated on one side, and everyone else on the other, but it is a divide.
Be honest, the WNBA could benefit from an injection of trans inclusion.
That’s why we traded the arms dealer for Griner.
Goal Diggers FC, a women and nonbinary inclusive soccer club based in London, has withdrawn from all FA-affiliated leagues.
On June 1, the day the ban took effect, Goal Diggers hosted an inclusive women’s tournament in London, drawing more than 100 players in a show of solidarity.
Wow, wow, wow….wow.
“Non-binary” is literally meaningless. It just means someone wants attention. So yeah, a six-foot, two-hundred pound dude with a beard could walk in there and demand a position and they would have to allow it.
I mean, clever pun and all, but naming your women + tranny club a sex based slur seems kind of trollish.
Interesting… It doesn’t sound like he was able to take the time to do what I would have expected — strip down / lose shoes at least and grab a life ring (and in my perfect world, there would be life rings spaced down all rails so you could do that quickly)… some tossed from the ship by others (doesn’t say if he was able to reach any).
Also interesting is that it indicates they turned the whole ship around… again surprising. Stop? Sure… but since the rescue boat was powered, I would have expected them to just let the rescue boat come back to them.
But still — glad it turned out okay. Rather surprising given the 4 deck drop to the water (that had to be a stunning impact).
July 1 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration cancelled a major contract to supply emergency kits for rape survivors in Congo as violence surged in the east this year, leaving thousands without access to life-saving medication, the United Nations and aid groups said.
The emergency kits include medication to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, as well as unwanted pregnancies. The decision to cancel the contract for around 100,000 post-rape kits has not been reported previously.
Are we allowed to say “Not my circus, not my monkeys” when we’re short-dicking every cannibal in the Congo?
It’s time for the smug Euros to step up.
Trump should just say “they’re in a warehouse in X. Here’s the address. You’re welcome to come pick them up and distribute them. We won’t even charge you for them.”
The smug Euros already stepped up. That’s what created the mess in the first place.
“Violence surged” is an optimistic way to describe the Congo. Violence continued at peak levels, as it has every year since the Belgians left, and will continue to continue until either everyone in the region has died or the sun burns out. Western aid just draws the process out, nothing is going to stop it.
I. wonder what violence was like before the Belgians got there. Hmmmm…..
Likely ongoing, but lower level because the tribes were less intermixed, and no one had given them firearms. Pretending tribal people are going to form a nice nation state just because some jerk in Brussels drew borders on a map, no one in the ‘nation state’ knows how to read is one of the stupider and more costly delusions of the 20th Century left.
I dont remember the names of all of the tribes but I do remember that a southern tribe was expanding north and eating their way through the previous inhabitants of the Congo. It was naked neolithic savagery just like everywhere else Stone Age people live.
The month where we have that shit shoved down our throats is over.
It was refreshingly less intrusive this year. I don’t recall seeing a single advertisement or store display.
One of our local barcades did a promo for Pride month. You could get a full rainbow of jello shots, with a portion of the purchase price going to PFLAG national. Maybe it’s just me, but in my mind, jello shots are linked to “bad decisions”.
Your mind, or your experience?
Not true, speaking as a former club owner, jello shots or really premixed shooters of any kind, are linked to the good decision of making a bunch of money off suckers.
Ted S.:
Jello shots were never my preference. If I was going that route, it would be shots of whiskey.
(((Jarflax:
Unfortunately, I don’t recall seeing many rainbow jello shooters the couple of times the girlfriend and I were there during June. Of course, we were also there during the afternoon, maybe it got really gay and wild in the evenings.
Anyone is gay after a flight of Jello shots
*peeks outside*
The tranny flag is still flying over city hall. 🙄
I’m sure your city is feeling the peace and love.
For a couple years, the cement posts in the parking lot of the local library were painted rainbow colors (plus brown and grey or whatever colors for “trans”) then I noticed they were painted yellow again. I bet it would have been comical to be a fly on the wall in that meeting where it was determined that nobody cares about this shit anymore and just paint over them.
Wow, the commie running for NYC Mayor really wants to commie hard.
https://x.com/DerrickEvans4WV/status/1939869063104377023
To be fair, free shit is expensive.
Hmm, does the NYPD have a Pinochet available? Because that’s their last hope.
They have a lot of helicopters.
I am not sure what “…do business in NYC…” means.
That is the same old ‘just the tip’ speech every thief has ever given. Fuck that guy…and what John Rocker says.
The obvious result is for all companies to stop doing any business in NYC. While I feel for the remaining sane residents there, that’s what I’d would want to see happen to make clear the stupidity of this crap.
That includes no shipping to NYC addresses.
Yeah well, the “taxation without representation” horse left the barn a long time ago.
He’s proposing doing to businesses what states to do athletes from other states who play games in their state.
And that’s always irritated me, seeing as CA can tax a TX pro football player 1/17th of their salary if they play a regular season game in SF or LA rather than not be able to tax it at all or tax it 1/365th only since these athletes spend all year preparing for their sport and don’t just show up on game day without having practiced (statement not applicable to Colorado Rockies baseball players).
I wonder if the blue states are going to start taxing college athletes playing in their states now that NIL money is a thing. If not, why not?
Have they tried cutting spending?
I guess they can’t because *checks notes* “racism”.
Without the gimme free shit crowd, they can’t rig anymore elections.
Almost as bad, the guy is a remarkably smug prick. Have you seen his schtick? Even with the sound turned off I want to punch him hard.
He is a spoiled nepo baby that has never had to hold a real job or run a business that thinks he is super smart because he gobbed up the marxist indoctrination with gusto. It is no wonder he went from failed rapper to government.
Every time Zohram opens his mouth, Eric Adams gets another vote.
His opponents can play his “rap” video non-stop.
I wouldn’t bet on that.
I say lean into it. If they are so enthralled with him that he wins, then increase taxes on white people to 75%, and drop everyone else’s to 0%. Impose a 75% tax on any business that has anything to do with New York. Then check back with us in a year.
Morning all.
If you think rape victims should have survivor kits or whatever I am certainly not stopping you from giving them.
It is overdue that we stopped being the world’s piggy bank. Cry all you want but they can learn to swim or drown, I dont give a shit. I know I am tired of being talked down to as an American by people who get 6 weeks paid vacation on my dime.
I am not really mad at the trannies. Ok, some of them yes for doing what they did. The people I am really angry with are the commie demoralizers who twisted those boys into lunatics and all of the people that facilitated the lunacy. I wouldn’t shed a tear if every person on the boards or governing bodies of universities and sports leagues who let this happen were horsewhipped.
Speaking of the troon sports stuff, does anybody here follow Martina Navratilova’s twitter just to see her react about it? It’s absolutely hilarious.
Wouldn’t that require having an account?
I did.
And did.
Perma banned now.
So they have already demonstrated the firearms ban doesn’t make people any safer.
Now they have assumed full liability for anyone injured or killed there.
The nice thing is “sovereign immunity to suit is waived and abolished to the extent of liability created by this section.” Seems the city of Dallas would be on the hook since they own the property. At least according to the text of the law, Government Code Sec. 411.209(h), but they ignore subsections a-g. so why would they follow the rules for h?
To me it is a slam dunk for the AG, the law says you cannot bar firearms from government owned or leased property, and the city of Dallas owns the property.
“The 2023 shooting at the fairgrounds involved a gunman”
You don’t say.
“Cameron Turner” sounds more like a gunwoman.
Well, it could have involved Peter North.
Turns out that Cam is exactly what you’d expect, minus the giveaway apostrophe in his name.
With those marksmanship and people skills, shouldn’t they make him a cop?
Pistoleer.
How’s that big beautiful Bill looking?
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/06/30/senate-rejects-big-beautiful-bill-measure-to-remove-illegal-aliens-from-medicaid/
Republicans are cowardly worthless shits, example 2,479.
Ain’t that the truth. Show them the light and they cower in the shadows.
Isn’t it strange how very single time one of these omnibus bills is proposed, it starts out 1/3 awesome, 1/3 ok, and 1/3 awful. Yet when it finally passes it contains 2/3 openly awful and 1/3 sounds ok, but when you read the details also awful, and nary a trace of awesome?
The magic of bipartisan politics!
But Thomas Massie is the bad guy for pointing this out and insisting on small single-purpose bills.
Elon has now thrown his support behind Massie.
Well… he was also bitching about ending the green graft.
I see his true colors coming out – as the biggest single beneficiary of that junk.
Elon is threatening to start a third party if the BBB passes, which it will now that anything even arguably beneficial has been filtered out of it.
Ross Perot just flopped over in his grave…
The mistake third parties make is to fix their eyes on the big seat without building a base. They need to start by aggressively contesting local elections, state legislatures, and house seats. You’re not going to get an electoral college win out the gate,
Interesting: Can Trump Deport Zohran Mamdani?
I only know of one instance where they denaturalized and deported someone. She had served time in an Israeli prison for double murder in a terrorist attack, and had not disclosed any of that on her immigration forms.
Islamo-Commie mayoral candidate doesn’t seem as cut and dried an example though.
“The Justice Department will prioritize revoking the US citizenship of individuals charged with certain crimes, according to a memo issued by the agency earlier this month.
“The Civil Division shall prioritize and maximally pursue denaturalization proceedings in all cases permitted by law and supported by the evidence,” read a June 11 “enforcement priorities” memo sent by Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate to all employees within the DOJ’s Civil Division.”
https://nypost.com/2025/07/01/us-news/doj-memo-outlines-plans-for-prioritizing-denaturalization-for-certain-crimes/
I read the memo. It seemed very broad and vague.
I hope Trump doesn’t save NYC from Mamdani, let them get what they vote for, good and hard.
TPTB: Thank you for your assistance this morning! Special Spirit of ’76 Thursday Night Post is assembled and pending.
Got it.
Thank you sir! I see everything is fixed. I appreciate your help and wish you a Happy 4th!
Titty Tuesday quiz of the week: would you rather be married to Lysistrata or Messalina?
https://archive.is/JrB7N
You’re going to make me look up references I’ve forgotten?
Lysistrata is the sex strike story.
I think Messalina is from I, Clavdivs.
Yes! Messalina was swinger. Now she did conspire to kill her husband so you would have to deal with that.
Fish girl looks like she has a fun sense of humor.
How about Salome instead?
“LaPalomento posted a video of the 7-year-old’s spray tan reveal, and viewers were amused to see the child’s outfit included ultra-trendy Labubu plushes.”
https://nypost.com/2025/06/30/lifestyle/nj-influencer-slammed-for-taking-7-year-old-daughter-to-spray-tan/
That’s just creepy.
I haven’t looked at the link, but Spray Tan in all of its incarnations should be outlawed, use punishable by flensing.
Go ahead and look, the satanic dolls can’t possess you soul over the internet, because science.
George Hamilton has a sad.
I have a suspicion that kid’s future is already locked in, and it isn’t a good one.
It’s New Jersey. You wouldn’t want the poor child to look out of place?
Hmm, fair point. I mean when you look out of a place in Jersey you might see New York or Philly.
ZOMG, a spray tan! The single most aweful thing ever inve… Sorry, I can’t get that out with a straight face. Who Gives a Shit?
She’s 7. I’d disapprove of her Mom using her as a prop on TikTok regardless of the spray tan.
Yeah, it feels like stirring up a moral panic over henna tattoos or the rub on temporary tattoos.
“I am not cut out for a job with no fun.”
There’s always OnlyFans…
I don’t think this guy cares for the general’s legacy…
Powell was a terrible Secretary of State for many reasons. The most flagrant of those being that he utterly, and consequentially, failed when assigned a critical task during George W. Bush’s signature presidential action, that being the invasion and conquest of Iraq in the years following the 9/11 attacks.
Interesting read.
No, he failed when he went to the UN in 2003 and instead of giving us and Adlai Stevenson moment, gave us fuzzy pictures of something that might be something that theoretically could be assembled to something but also used for something else, and oh the Syrians might be involved and we know they’re bad, thus it is imperative we invade Iraq.
“Jewish students at Harvard were spit on for wearing yarmulkes, stalked and subjected to chants of “heil Hitler” — and the Ivy League university was either “deliberately indifferent” or even a “willful participant” in the antisemitic abuse, according to a shocking report released by the Trump administration on Monday.”
https://nypost.com/2025/06/30/us-news/trump-admin-formally-accuses-harvard-of-violating-civil-rights-law-over-campus-antisemitism/
They’re just critical of Israel.
Of course they are critical of Israel! It’s full of Jews!
That’s what (((they))) want you to think!
It’s just a custom.

I have been hearing for months about “pulling federal money” so do it already. That is the only way this stops.
Pull it either way.
“As of now, the District of Columbia’s youth curfew begins at midnight on weeknights in the summer for children ages 16 and under. Bowser is looking to extend this curfew to 11 p.m. and include 17-year-olds.
Bowser’s new proposal would also allow the city’s police chief to create designated “extended juvenile curfew zones,” where the curfew could start at 7 p.m. for up to a month.”

Where are the parents?
Setting up the mayor in a drug sting? Prison?
And therefore will never happen. But she can say “I tried”. 🙄
But imagine your town is so out of control you need a “youth curfew”.
Parent.

“CNN posted a video interview with the app’s designer, Joshua Aaron, a “musician and developer,” according to the network, Monday morning.
“When I saw what was happening in this country, I wanted to do something to fight back,” Aaron said.
Just like popular navigation apps rely on users’ real-time reports of car accidents or construction and then alert other users taking those routes, ICEBlock relies on users to report sightings of ICE agents and then reflects those sightings on a map. Users can be notified of all of the reported sightings within a five-mile radius.”

He should be turn his residence into a sanctuary dwelling for these people and see how it turns out.
Also, I suspect he’s going to get a visit from the Feds soon.
While I don’t disagree that the feds will visit him, it should be protected speech. I would see it as an expansion of similar rulings. Now, that’s with the caveat that the agents are acting in public.
I also expect it to be below Google Maps (no Google, that building that was torn down is not “temporarily closed”) in accuracy.
It absolutely should be protected. Just like WAZE on my phone lets me know, via crowd sourcing, when there is a cop ahead, something doing the same via ICE should be legal.
I hope the site gets spammed with fake reports. Even better if fake but plausible reports. Have the black bloc idiots chasing their tails in circles.
Stunning and brave.
Weep for our lost America
Ahead of the July Fourth holiday and the country’s 249th birthday, three-quarters of Americans say democracy is under serious threat, according to a new NPR/PBS News/Marist poll.
Nearly three-quarters also see politically motivated violence as a major problem.
The findings come at a time of great political volatility. In the midst of Donald Trump’s second term as president, the country is polarized and sharply divided.
The U.S. is grappling with what it means to be American, who is essential to its story, who belongs, who doesn’t and which direction the country should take — all while Americans are expressing very little faith in its political leadership, the survey finds.
Agony aunts assemble!
According to people who listen to NPR?
Yes. Another (possibly shit) Gallup poll that came out the other day asked Americans if they were proud to be American.
2001 Results – Dem Yes 87 Repub Yes 92 or something like that.
2025 Results – Dem Yes 36 Repub Yes 92
51 point swing in a generation for Team Blue and a 20 point drop in the last year. Make of that what you will.
They really interesting thing to me about that swing is that during that period our society moved generally leftward in culture, politics and law. The Democrats just moved further left than the society leaving them more dissatisfied. Perception trumps reality.
They are not people.
There was no polarization prior to 2016 and 2024
Nearly three-quarters also see politically motivated violence as a major problem.
About half of those see the problem being it hasn’t brought the revolution they desire.
3/4 of Americans think democracy is under threat? They dont say what the threat is they just lead you to assume the threat is Trump. Trump is not blocking traffic and throwing bombs at the cops. Trump got elected, the other party installed a drunken idiot without an election.
Whatchawannabet it’s the other way about?
Yeah, the left is a far bigger threat to muh democracy than Donald fucking Trump.
The problem now is that half the country lives in a fantasy world and the reality-based other half cannot have a rational conversation with them because their brains have turned to mush.
Was he wrong?
That was 25 years ago, and has it gotten better?
To me Hank Williams Jr. said it best:
“Just send me to hell or New York City, it would be about the same to me”.
Probably less AIDS now but otherwise entirely accurate still.
No Casper no.
Probably the same amount of aids. They just don’t die from it anymore.
Don’t leave out the raving lunatic threatening people.
Definitely more of that than there used to be.
In this most recent poll, 89% of Democrats, 80% of independents and 57% of Republicans said there is a serious threat to the future of democracy. Respondents did not specify what they see as constituting that threat, and Democrats and Republicans likely have very different reasons for saying so.
Everybody thinks the country is headed in the wrong direction, but no two people agree on what that direction should actually be,
Thanks, Shirley, that’s incredibly helpful.
Similar to approval for politicians, Congress, … one side sees them going to far the other not far enough
Or to quote Sir Pterry:
“Pulling together is the aim of despotism and tyranny. Free men pull in all kinds of directions….It’s the only way to make progress.”
From “”The Truth”.
“A Florida man who was shot in the chest credits a cross necklace for saving his life.
Aidan Perry, 20, told NBC affiliate WESH his friend was showing off a gun and accidentally fired it.
The bullet ricocheted off the golden necklace and became lodged in the fatty tissue of his chest. Doctors said the necklace saved his life, as it took most of the force of the bullet and slowed it down enough that it didn’t enter his chest.
If he hadn’t been wearing the necklace, doctors said the bullet could have pierced his lungs or heart.”
https://www.wfla.com/news/florida/florida-mans-cross-necklace-blocks-bullet-from-piercing-heart/
God came down from heaven and stopped that motherfuckin’ bullet.
That is a lot of stupid in the same place at the same time.
A buddy of

Today I made a quick day-trip to Matsuyama, the largest city on Shikoku. That means I’ve visited the four largest islands in Japan. The onsen and the castle were great. Apparently, drinking tap orange juice is a thing there.
That sounds amazing. Are there any go to places in your travels you would recommend?
Wife and I want to do a Japan trip in the future when the girl
Is a little older and can appreciate it.
Go to Okinawa in the winter, the people are really friendly and the scenery is gorgeous.
If you scuba dive, it’s one of the top 10 places for it.
I know one guy that was stationed there, made me jealous.
There was no meaningful difference by race, income or education, but those who most see democracy under serious threat were people who voted for former Vice President Kamala Harris and white women, regardless of college education — 85% of white women with degrees and 81% of white women without them said the threat was serious, compared to 70% of white men with degrees and 67% of white men without them.
Huh. Democracy is a failure when our candidate loses. Also, where’s the manager?
These fucks are telling you if they do not win, then they intend to take their ball and go home. They hold power and get to do what they want, or they will burn it all down. It is as simple as that. Claiming they protect or believe in democracy is to fool people that won’t realize they are dealing with evil totalitarians and their tantrums.
That sums it up nicely.
In regards to hero Disney cruise dad, I was wondering how the five year old managed to get herself overboard. Did she climb up the railing somehow and fall over it. Well, it looks like hero Dad may have wanted a cool shot for Instagram of her sitting on top the railing. It’s a throwaway comment in the middle of this article, but I imagine within a day or two it will no longer be hero cruise dad, but absolute ejit cruise dad. Still, at least he didn’t just leave her drown in the ocean.
https://nypost.com/2025/07/01/us-news/disney-cruise-passenger-describes-terrifying-moment-a-father-and-daughter-went-overboard/
Yup, idiot dad. At least he went in after her.
99% of the time.
My suspicions about my father began when I was a child and he wanted me to stand on the edge of a 700’ tall dam.
“He revealed that the health agency buried a 1999 internal study led by researcher Thomas Verstraten, which showed an alarming 1135% increase in autism risk from the hepatitis B vaccine.”
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/07/rfk-jr-unloads-disturbing-vaccine-secrets-tucker-surprises/
Why are you giving a hepatitis B vaccine to children in the first place?
Because in a degenerate society where the kids can be fucked, you need them protected from the spread of the various STDs the people abusing them will have..
That’s a vax that they put heavy pressure on parents to give to their brand new babies. Literally a few hours after they are born a nurse comes in telling you to give your newborn a Hep B vax. At the birth of our first son i would have considered myself highly pro vax, but even I was in no way having that. I joked that it would be at least a few years before he ws having sex and the nurse really didn’t enjoy my humor. We had another nurse come and tell us a few hours later that he should get the Hep B vax immediately.
This is where I am. I am previously very pro-vaccine and still am regarding certain ones. The trouble is that the medical industry has destroyed their credibility and their general advice cannot be trusted. You really need to know a physician personally and have solid trust in them for advice.
I usually ask “Did you take it yourself?”
Indeed Suth, I have had plenty of vaccines, including some for tropical diseases before going to SouthAm. Never was or have been a flu shot guy, but my kids even got those Hep B shots, just when they were five or six, not at birth. More than anything at that time it was just my instinct not to cause even a minute of discomfort to newborns for something that didn’t even have a fraction of a percent of happening. The Vid hysteria was eye opening for me in regards to the medical industry.
At this point I am only doing the Tetanus vaccine which you need a booster for every 10 years. And I am someone that got a buttload of vaccines as kid because we lived in some places with a lot of diseases and the military thought we were experimental rabbits, but never had an issue with that stuff. But yeah, they can keep all the stupid shit they try to push on you these days, otherwise.
I’ve also become far more skeptical but still got a tetanus booster and the first of two shingles vax shots last week.
All risk/reward; I very much would prefer not to get shingles and the safety track record looks good – just the “normal” issues, like Guillain-Barre
“The trouble is that the medical industry has destroyed their credibility and their general advice cannot be trusted.”

My daughter was born in 2021 at the height of the insanity and I stood firm not letting them give her the WuFlu jab in spite of *immense* pressure to do so. Now that the extent of the corruption and rot in the “public health establishment” has been revealed I’m skeptical of much more than just WuFlu.
Suthen – you should not be about any of them. I was brainwashed, too, just like everyone else.
There is next to zero proof for the “efficacy” and “safety” of vaccines – both the requisite legal standards for drug approval.
(N.B. Biologics use the words “potency” and “sterility” vice the legal words for drugs, but same standard).
Indeed, there is a TON of counter-evidence that suggests – at least or even more strongly – that vaxxes are deadly. The only question is “how deadly” to the particular cohort that’s on the wrong end of it. And all justified by “a few broken eggs” for “the public health.”
Ask OMWC.
Good morning all. Had to drop off my kid at the airport, Seattle is calling her back. It was nice having her around again.
From the Department of About Freakin’ Time
“Planned Parenthood, the massive, 108-year-old network of women’s and reproductive health clinics that operates almost 600 health centers across the United States, may not survive the Trump administration. Long a hated symbol on the right, and unable to summon enthusiastic support from the left, the medical network has nevertheless remained a symbolic and material cornerstone of women’s equality, serving millions of patients – many of them indigent or low-income – each year, and housing one of the biggest feminist and pro-choice lobbying and litigation shops in America, in addition to being one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers….
he decision comes at a moment when Donald Trump’s domestic policy agenda, known humiliatingly as the “big, beautiful bill,” is working its way through the Senate, which among other things is considering a provision to ban Planned Parenthood from all Medicaid reimbursements nationwide. The organization has said that as a result of the supreme court and Trump administration actions, nearly a third of their clinics – about 200 – may have to close; the group has already decided to close 20 clinics just this year.”

Good.
Golly gee willikers, women may have to go to actual healthcare providers to murder their babies!
unable to summon enthusiastic support from the left
We support donating other people’s money.
Amazing to me how an organization started by a eugenicist for the express purpose of exterminating the darkies can exist in this country. Kill it. Kill it with fire.
“may not survive the Trump administration”
If you can’t survive without government money, well, tough.
“housing one of the biggest feminist and pro-choice lobbying and litigation shops in America”
Being dependent on government money and being a partisan attack machine may lead to . . . Consequences.
“one of the nation’s largest healthcare providers”
Oddly, the number of doctors and other licensed providers employed by PP doesn’t seem available. 600 clinics sounds like a lot, though. At 5 licenses per clinic (which may be a trifle generous, who knows?), that’s 3,000 licensed providers. That does not put them in range of being one of the largest in the country, though. Kaiser employs nearly 100,000. My regional health system, which doesn’t even extend outside metro Tucson, employs over a thousand.
It would be nice to prohibit political donations from organizations that are receiving taxpayer money, but I’ll concede that there are too many ways around it (and the real solution is to just end taxpayer funding).
Sometimes I wish the Republicans would engage in some turnabout and start funding the NRA since they conduct gun safety classes.
“Technically, the four-cylinder is one of the most advanced drivetrains available in a production car. It’s also right up there on performance. But despite this, it failed to resonate with our traditional customers. We’ve recognized that,” a source at Mercedes told Autocar.
On paper. How is it on the road? Can you casually roll around town in your 5000 pound Mercedes at 15% throttle, as you can in a normally aspirated V8, or do you have to thrash the shit out of it to make it get out of its own way?
SL used to mean super light.
It is the latter. All those four cylinder turbos in big cars are a losing deal. It will be like when GM put a four cylinder in the 1980s Camaro.
Safety regulations are making cars too heavy.
Back in the 80’s one of the safest cars was a Volvo station wagon. It had so much glass it looked like an aquarium. Now, you can barely see out the windows.
“The Democrats have no plausible opponents to Mr. Trump, no policy except Trump-hate, and have carried to its logical extreme the great liberal death wish.”
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2025/07/01/the_democrats_animated_by_loathing_of_trump_are_driving_their_party_to_self-destruction_152982.html
I personally believe that reports of the Donks’ death have been greatly exaggerated; however, what’s certain is that they have been weakened and are now locked in a struggle for the soul of the party: on one side the power-hungry struldbruggs and on the other the simultaneously rabid and vacuous AWFLs and nepo-baby commies.
What’s more instructive is something that I have thought privately for a long time: that it is indeed true that hatred is a poison much more destructive to the vessel than the target. Their entire political program, indeed for some partisans their entire lives, have been consumed by hatred for Trump and it has driven them insane and largely destroyed them. What emerges after Trump is done and ineligible to run again I don’t think anyone knows, but I don’t think it will be any kind of improvement. Another thing the Donks have proven over the past decade is that they are incapable of self-reflection or humility.
Kritzinger’s cautionary tale comes to mind. They are so consumed by their hatred of Trump it has become their purpose in life. The difference is they will find a new target for their hate when Trump is gone.
Hubris, Atis, Nemesis, and Tisis: those whom the Gods wish to destroy, first make mad.
Nothing will help the Donks survive their current travails like the Repubs.
Is it just me, or did the formatting just change on the site? No more indents for nested comments, the comment box (and type size) are now microscopic), and the spacing is weird.
And now it’s back to normal. Never mind.
And now it’s not, again.
Yes, the format has been unstable this morning.
If I close the page and then reopen, it clears things up for a while.
Yeah, the formatting has been changing for me, too.
I’m seeing occasional 404 errors on .css files (Cascading Style Sheets) – since those define the style, we’re seeing the default style when your browser can’t fetch them.
No idea why we’re getting the 404s.
If the Dems don’t have a bench, does it much matter if the R base stays home in disgust? I’m starting to lean towards the “Rs get creamed in the midterms” crowd, because Congress won’t pass any spending cuts, and Trump won’t stand firm and take a “government shut down” to force the issue.
I had to look up ‘struldbrugg.’ What a terrific word.
I got a chuckle when i read it.
What’s more instructive is something that I have thought privately for a long time: that it is indeed true that hatred is a poison much more destructive to the vessel than the target.

“In the wake of state representative Zohran Mamdani’s historic defeat of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in New York City’s Democratic primary, Donald Trump knew immediately who he feared most: Not Mamdani, who he doesn’t seem to know much about, as evidenced by a preposterous attack on Mamdani’s good looks. Certainly not Cuomo, who is a weak imitation of Trump in the “sexually predatory jerk” department. No, his eyes went straight to his real nemesis: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of Queens. Trump’s biggest dig against Mamdani was “AOC+3” on Truth Social, citing the congresswoman’s nickname….
Trump should be worried. Ocasio-Cortez has not hinted at any presidential run in 2028. But if she were the Democratic nominee, she would be extremely hard for Trump to beat. (Yes, yes, I know the Constitution forbids him from running again. It also guarantees birthright citizenship, but the Supreme Court found a backdoor way to pause that on Friday. They’d make up some B.S. to justify letting him run a third time, if he’s physically capable of doing so.) Ocasio-Cortez isn’t just the opposite of Trump, brimming with the youth and intelligence he lacks. She also offers a sharp contrast to the rest of the Democratic Party, which voters see, for good reason, as feckless, weak and corrupted by corporate interests.”

Is it trolling if someone is actually insane?
It’s Salon, who would they be trolling? The other inmates in the asylum?
I should come up with some sort of “news” site with nothing but stories and videos of these wackos predicting things that never came true.
I seem to recall that there’s a site out there somewhere that’s a list of all of the failed climate/Malthusian predictions, including who said them and when. But some quick searches were not turning up anything useful.
Oh Salon, don’t stop believing.
“It also guarantees birthright citizenship,”
Oddly, though, American Indians born in this country needed a separate statute to be recognized as citizens. it’s almost like there’s another clause in there that puts a limitation on birthright citizenship.
That’s just Crazy Talk.

The Establishment is just like the mafia… They’ll take care of you as long as you’re useful, but the second you become the slightest inconvenience, you’ll be chopped up and chucked in dumpsters all over the city.
Robbing the poor to give to the rich
A massive legislative package Senate Republicans are trying to pass this week would hurt the lowest-earning Americans financially while boosting the incomes of wealthier households, according to a Yale Budget Lab analysis issued Monday.
The “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” would reduce income by 2.9% (about $700) per year for the bottom 20% of households, according to the Yale analysis. These households have an income of less than $13,350, it said.
The massive bill would raise income by 2.2% ($5,700) per year for the top 20%, who have incomes of more than roughly $120,000, the study found.
These financial impacts are what the average household would experience each year from 2026 through 2034, according to the analysis, which modeled publicly known policies in the Senate bill as of Monday morning.
“The bill shifts resources away from those at the lower end of the [income] distribution toward those at the top,” said Harris Eppsteiner, associate director of economic analysis at the Yale Budget Lab.
A lot of undefined terms in that “analysis”.
I paid about $400 less under the 2018 Trump tax rates than I would have paid had the old rates remained in force.
Also, the SALT deduction is taking from the poor and giving to the rich.
I started to post a knee jerk response about made up bases for fear-mongering, but since the cowards and crooks have stripped every thing worthwhile out of the already terrible bill, and what remains is just the pile of expensive crap further burying us in debt I’m not really interested in defending it, even from stupid lies.
At least the SHORT act is still in it…
It is not. The current text only reduces the tax to $0, but leaves the crime, mother may I and registration in place.
Partisan hacks, No credibility.
Speaking of threats to democracy
In ordinary times, someone could read the Supreme Court’s decision on the legality of so-called “universal injunctions” as just the latest example of an old dispute: the proper way to interpret the Constitution and the jurisdiction of federal courts. Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s majority opinion saying the federal district courts do not have the authority to issue such injunctions is a classic in the genre of “originalism.”
In contrast, the dissenting opinions by Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson read the law through the lens not just of its origins but with an eye to how an interpretation would affect the world beyond the courtroom. They understand that these are not ordinary times and do not want to disable the judiciary from responding when fundamental rights are at stake, in the face of an ongoing assault on the rule of law itself.
To put it simply, with its decision in Trump v. Casa, the court has become an accomplice in President Trump’s ongoing assault on our constitutional republic. The decision has effectively removed the federal courts as a check on the Trump administration.
It’s the end of “One man, one injunction.”
Trump will put us all in chains.
Shorter version: We need a judicial dictatorship. If I wanted to live under that I’d move to Brazil, that fine example of representative democracy.
Until the judges rule the wrong way.
I like how they say there is precedent in district courts issuing national injunction by citing SCOTUS issuing a national injunction.
Well, obviously. Both are “Federal” courts, so they must have jurisdiction across the whole country. Logic@!
While you would never know from reading the majority opinion that Trump has been claiming authority to ignore the law whenever it suits him, including the right to curtail the constitutionally protected right to birthright citizenship, in their dissents Sotomayor and Jackson went to great lengths to ensure that his actions would not be ignored.
As Sotomayor argues, the majority now holds that “No matter how illegal a law or policy, courts can never simply tell the executive to stop enforcing it against anyone.” Sotomayor condemns her colleagues’ attachment to a “rigid historical test” that allows “a grave and unsupported diminution of the judicial power of equity,” and chastises the majority for its “complicity” in the president’s “‘mockery’ of our constitution.”
It’s a living document. Stop quibbling about what words meant hundreds of years ago. They mean what we want them to mean.
If it’s so blatantly unconstitutional just file another case in the appropriate district and it’ll be handled in a manner they find appropriate. They’re just not happy that the days of a Hawaiian judge stepping in with nationwide injunctions are over and it’s transparent.
“While you would never know from reading the majority opinion that Trump has been claiming authority to ignore the law whenever it suits him”
By complying with every court order.
To follow up on Jaguar’s 49 sales in April. Turns out the cause was worse than progressive mindfuckery
They had stopped making cars in preparation for a pivot into an already dying sector of the market.

Here’s hoping Elon buys it out of bankruptcy, and revives it as a high-power luxury ICE-only brand. Given what he has done with rocket engines, I would be interested to see what he would do with ICE.
Jag spun down its ICE cars before it could spin up EV production.
In preparation for their Great Leap Forward.
“I know, lets not have any product to sell to bring in revenue.”
Do they only have one tiny plant with one production line? I mean if you’re committed to this new direction, why not retool one line at a time so you’ve still got something on the market?
Interesting video on a guy (an Israeli soldier) getting jumped and struggling to run his gun. The article focuses on “Israeli carry” (empty chamber), but to me the way that the adrenaline dump affects you is just as interesting.

One of the various shooting classes I’ve taken over the years was with Ernest Langdon, of USMC HRP program and Team Beretta fame (first USPSA Production division champion).
It was one of the very few classes I’ve done where ‘stress inoculation’ was a big part of the curriculum. Ernest stated that competition shooting was a useful way to induce some stress, as were some assorted dangerous sports – he specifically mentioned rock climbing and motorcycle racing.
The common factor – all of these activities involve using very precise fine motor skills, under time pressure, in an environment where failure carries significant negative consequences.
Has this already been reported?
https://www.ainvest.com/news/texas-authorizes-gold-silver-legal-tender-daily-transactions-2506/
Yesterday, AInvest News ran a story headlined, “Texas Authorizes Gold, Silver as Legal Tender for Daily Transactions.” Texas’s comptroller announced that Governor Greg Abbott signed a new law making gold and silver legal tender in that state:
Link to the link: https://open.substack.com/pub/coffeeandcovid/p/gifts-and-grifts-monday-june-30-2025?r=d0r3d&utm_medium=ios
The new state laws like Texas’s are setting up systems where state depositories, not banks, will hold the gold, and citizens can still use debit cards to buy and sell stuff. But in this case, they’ll be using an asset-backed currency that isn’t subject to inflationary taxes like fiat currency (such as the dollar).
Oh?
