Your Tears Are So Yummy and Sweet
The photo has been deleted on the article.

I’m pretty sure there was a follow-up thread about how mean we were in the comments, but I can’t find it.
There was also the thread where Joe freaked out about Black Friday. So good. But I cannot find it. Reason purged a lot of threads. If anyone else can find it, I’d like to bookmark it.
Trump rages against ‘weaklings’ and ‘past supporters’ buying into ‘Epstein hoax’
President Trump lashed out Wednesday at “weaklings” and “past supporters” in his base who he said were buying in to the “Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” raging that he doesn’t even “want their support anymore.”
“Unlike Republicans, they [Democrats] stick together like glue. Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bulls—,’ hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats[‘] work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
I wonder if the list is even extant. You’d think it would be the first thing to destroy or thoroughly hide. Either release everything they have or say it is never going to be released. Stop teasing people.
Hunter Biden says Democrats lost election for not staying ‘loyal’ to his father
Hunter Biden, in his first interview since the 2024 election, denied there was a “grand conspiracy” to cover up issues with his father’s health and said Democrats only lost the race because they abandoned President Joe Biden.
“We lost the last election because we did not remain loyal to the leader of the party,” Hunter Biden said on a new podcast hosted by Jaime Harrison, former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. “That’s my position. We had the advantage of incumbency, we had the advantage of an incredibly successful administration, and the Democratic Party literally melted down.”
Cracky was always loyal. He is still doing his job it seems

I am going to go lose myself in that H&R thread…
The Black Friday thread was so epic. Joe rage quit for a while, came back to defend Obama, realize that he was so shitty could do it and then rage quit again on this comment thread and finally disappeared (I think.)

Saw Young Warty in there!
Just scanning it, I say ProLibertate, GILMORE, and I am sure there will be others. I did not see, however ArtPOG, or UrKobold. But, like I said, I am sure there will be others.
I’d be willing to take a gambol that I’d see some familiar, though long-gone handles.
OK, found Urkobold, and JsubD showed up.
It’s even weirder when I start seeing names from other websites I used to hang at.
No. 6!
19 years…. sheesh. And then the reason powers closed the comments.
I’ve got the Superfly soundtrack on vinyl. Great album.
I’ve always loved waspy guitar and funk bass. Big fan of Mayfield.
The vamps are awe inspiring.
That was 19 years ago? Fuck me, I feel old.
Super Fly was the best Blaxploitation movie ever. Didn’t the soundtrack end up grossing more than the movie itself?
“Didn’t the soundtrack end up grossing more than the movie itself?”
Yes according to Little Steven.
30 million worldwide gross for the movie.
1.5 million in sales for the album and two 2 million in single sales for both “Freddie’s Dead” and the title track.
I can’t pull up what that adds up to in gross sales take. (It might be up somewhere.) The music industry mostly goes by sales numbers and not “box office” money it seems.
I do, however, like Fishbones version of Freddie’s Dead.
That’s what I said.
Goldstein. We hates. So tedious.

The last one from Viking Moose is 14 years ago.
That’s a good run.
Hunter Biden, in his first interview since the 2024 election
Influence peddler, all out of influence. So sad.
I expected his reappearance to be a cracked out mugshot.
But he’ll get a bitchin Corvette.

we had the advantage of an incredibly successful administration
It’s common knowledge. Indisputable.
The NYC mayor election is really shaping up.

I saw Eric Adams mentioned in one of those TOS links. Crazy, I never heard of the guy before he became mayor.
PS. I wonder if any of that is true. I could go anywhere from “all of it” to “not a word of it” and it would be believable depending on the other factors swirling around it.
Par for the course in New York.
3 doesn’t apply to all three?
1 is a question. His dad OTH…
Somebody should turn that thread into an off Broadway musical.
I don’t even remember who I was back then.
The Early P Brooks?
We were all socks back then.
Damn you Tupala
STEVEN SMITH SAY NO TO CAR INSPECTIONS
Deputy Speaker of the House Steven Smith, who spoke with WBZ-TV on the matter in April, said there’s no real evidence that inspections make roads any safer. Instead, he believes the inspections simply represent a money grab for station owners and the state, with drivers on the hook for costly repairs that have nothing to do with safety.
“In states particularly that had it and got rid of it, we look for the data where everybody died after that happened, and it’s just not there,’’ Smith told WBZ-TV at the time.
Even before he pulls them over STEVE SMITH knows who has junk in their trunk. And we all know what I mean by “pull them over”…
Currently, 14 states require annual safety inspections, while 14 others don’t. The remaining states have varied inspection mandates.
Virginia is one of them, though I have never paid extra for an inspection and never failed one.
In NH, inspection stations set the price for an inspection. Most shops charge around $40 in the area where I live. The state gets, regardless of how much the shop charges, $3.25 per inspection which goes into a fund shared with municipalities.
That fee and the fund were what enabled the Legislature to add ending inspections onto the budget.
The legislation terminating inspections, thus terminating a source of revenue, also terminates the fund. The legislation can go through on its own or in a budget year (odd numbered years in NH as NH uses a two year budget), it can also go through as part of the budget since it affects state finances.
There was a standalone bill ending car inspections. The State Senate held up the standalone bill. I am not sure what the governor’s position on the standalone bill was. The State House leadership tacked ending car inspections onto the budget. The State House leadership refused to pass a budget that didn’t include ending car inspections.
I remember paying $20 or so for inspections in PA. I don’t remember if the state set the fee or if inspection mechanics set the fee. It’s been too long.
The maximum inspection fee for a personal vehicle is $20 in Virginia.
https://vsp.virginia.gov/safety-and-enforcement/vehicle-safety-inspection
NJ got rid of safety, but not emissions inspections. No notable stories about issues.
In places with even more road salt use I can see the need, but not very libertarian.
Outside of the salt belt it’s a money and control grab.
The NH change gets rid of both emissions and safety inspections. I thought it took effect Jan 1st, 2026, but all the news articles I’ve seen say Jan. 31st, 2026. I’ll have to find the law.
CT got rid of its safety inspection a few years ago. I don’t recall if they still have emissions. I’ll be lazy and won’t look it up.
E-Check here in Ohio (for the areas that are still required to waste time doing it), is now in the hands of the Trump Admin.
Nj got rid of the safety inspections when the rate of failure went so low. It was < 2%.. and they had to pay for all of the inspectors. you now see roving inspections, mostly for commercial trucks.
I remember when the Motorcycle inspections stopped. The only time you ever failed one was if your horn didn't work, or you didn't have the 2 square inches of reflective material on each side of your helmet. Even though every DOT helmet passes that requirement, they would argue that it wasn't a continuous 1"x2".. I would bring a specific helmet with a separate sticker on it.. take my normal helmet off, put on the 20 year old crappy helmet with the sticker. Pass the test, and then switch back to my current one.
I also remember getting my car inspected and there was a crack in my passenger wing mirror… they failed me… Now you didn't have to have a passenger mirror, but "if it is there is must not be damaged". So I took the failure, drove around to the end of the inspection line (Where you get re-inspected_ removed the right wing mirror and had them re-inspect the car. passed.
Dr – When I rode I cut big pieces of reflective tape and blended the outline to match the “swoosh” on my helmet.
Driving to Newark on my bike for inspections is one of the reasons I stopped riding.
Trashy’s trash take:
Inspections are stupid and should go away, but certain roads should be off limits to hoopties and dumbasses. Particularly the roads where a wreck or breakdown results in 90 minutes of crawling traffic.
So I-95.
So, all of the west coast.
Or NJ.
Best Coast vs. Beast Coast.
In 20 or so years, when l’il Sarah, after years of training with mysterious masters of secret deadly martial arts comes back and caves in Sanchez’ head with her pinky finger, I’ll say, “eh, I guess he had that coming.”-
Just over 450 days until this particular prophesy comes true.
Here is a dude who never put a 12 hour day in an office.
https://www.windowscentral.com/microsoft/windows-11/microsoft-scraps-windows-11s-simplified-taskbar-system-tray-layout-after-negative-feedback-from-testers-but-i-dont-understand-why
Of course, one way to make both parties happy would be to make it so the simplified layout was an option for users to enable in Settings. In fact, the preview feature did have the option to turn it off if you didn’t like it. That makes outright removing it from the OS even more baffling. It could have been an optional layout for users who prefer a more streamlined Taskbar, plus having more customization options is never a bad thing.
For now, users can outright turn off the date and time on the Taskbar if they do want some extra space, but that’s going a little too far, I think. I just want the AM/PM indicator and year hidden, not the whole thing.
I poked around in Linux Mint. I can configure 12 hour or 24 hour format for the time. I can include seconds or not. I can pick whether to show the date. If the date is shown, the year is not shown though I can bring up a calendar which shows the year.
I think if Linux can makes these things configurable, Windows can too.
I don’t have any evidence to back this up, but I believe that there was a conscious shift in the last 5 or so years to intentionally restrict customizability in many user interfaces. Many of the settings that used to be there are gone.
It is configurable. It adapts whatever formats you’re using for Short Date and Time in region settings.
Yup, this is a thing. If given any ability to customize their interface, the end user will inevitably fuck something up and generate unnecessary support calls. So it’s better to not give them any options.
(I may or may not have just had to deal with a user who didn’t instructions on how to open Edge on her brand new Windows 11 laptop.)
Is that with the change from talking about UI to UX?
I’m getting to the point of wanting to punch anyone working in UI in the throat with their own testicles.
But if we don’t move everything, change the name of everything, and change how everything looks every three or four years people might notice that our new and improved ergonomic UI is missing half a dozen controls and is designed by asking 500 people where they would look for something, then picking the least commonly chosen answer.
The best part of the windows experience is 3 system apps of various themes and ages to control your OS settings.
Bonus for redundancy across the three for some settings.
(((Jarflax:
That sounds like throat punching talk.
“punch anyone working in UI in the throat with their own testicles.”
That sound like a whole lot of work, and you have to hold someone’s testicles. I’d rather just break all their knuckles ala “The Friends of Eddie Coyle”
There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum. Its breathtaking.
Windows UI has been all downhill since Windows 7.
Stinky:
I’ll go back to Windows 2000.
Data backed vaccines. That’s a new one for me.
https://archive.fo/fvE4a
https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2025/07/vaccination-doctors-trump-rfk/683541/
Now that vaccines come with 5G they can backup data faster.
Data backed = tested and approved. safe and effective. That is the implication but as I recall the data doesnt really back that up. Also, they faked a lot of the data.
Result: Dont get that shit anywhere near me or my family.
Just like “data backed” climate collapse.
“Like many pediatricians, O’Shea requires that her patients follow the recommended childhood-immunization schedule to continue to be seen at her practice;”
Time to find a new doctor. Fuck that.
Data backed vaccines.
It works great in the model.
Damn. Who is going to cut and weld the steel without these 5 admirals?
The Navy has struggled to construct ships. Now it may cut the admirals who help build them.
Over budget and behind schedule. Good riddance to dead weight.
Nobody I know
It’s difficult to overstate how unpopular President Donald Trump’s agenda is right now. On most key items and issues, it’s even more unpopular than the already unpopular president.
For example: A new CNN poll released Wednesday showed Americans opposed Trump’s signature new domestic policy law by a 22-point margin. That makes it perhaps the most disliked major new law in decades.
Of course, Congress still passed it. To the political credit of Trump and those around him, they are getting their agenda across the line, in large part because Republicans are afraid of his wrath.
People who listen to us drone nonstop about how awful President Cartoon Villain and his agenda are think he and his agenda are awful.
The only reason anybody voted for that bill was because they’re terrified of ending up face down in a ditch. That’s the kind of man you racist fucking hicks elected.
Yeah the left has been pushing their polls non-stop. The narrative has been distributed.
Those seven votes put Vance on pace for 58 tie-breaking votes in Trump’s second term if he continues to break ties at the rate he has so far. That would be far more than the record of 33 set by Kamala Harris between 2021 and 2025, according to the Senate Historian.
I realize you’ve got a word count to hit, but cut it the fuck out.
“6 in 10 Americans oppose Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill”
Because it goes too far, or because it doesn’t go too far enough?
Who knows? Did they ask follow up questions to find what aspects of it were objectionable?
Dems hate it cuz Trump, fiscally responsible righties don’t care for it cuz it isn’t fiscally responsible. Sounds plausible to me.
Did they ask follow up questions to find what aspects of it were objectionable?
Why on earth would they do that? Everybody hates it. End of message.
With everything coming out, I feel pretty vindicating with my Trump/Epstein/Israel “speculation.”
Mind linking …something…
There’s a pretty sizable body of circumstantial evidence that points in that direction but there’s no way it was Mossad only. The CIA were probably the main players. There’s no way a US based op that size was being run for that long without their blessings and a leadership role.

About time
Some white shoe firm will pick her up as favor. Sadly.
Other than “Sins of the Father” why is this “About Time”
also Good Song
I don’t know why but the line about the ABC store made me think of this.
Which is a much better song.
Because she has been involved in two high profile disasters?
Diddy walking is a disgrace.
Is that an orc from Lord of the Rings in that sketch or is that supposed to be her?
From the comments: “I didn’t know eyebags were hereditary”.
Plus EVERYTHING Superfly.
Damn, that album is sacred. One of my walk-to’s, along with Headhunters.
Struttin’ music, right there.
