Books by women:

And the kicker:

By the way:

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/123852869-morning-glory-milking-farm

Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parent’s basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands.

Morning Glory Milking Farm offers full-time hours, full benefits, and generous pay with no experience needed . . . there’s only one catch. The clientele is Grade A certified prime beef, with the manly, meaty endowments to match. Milking minotaurs isn’t something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she’s determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune.

When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his milking sessions, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren’t so one-sided after all.

What in the fuck is wrong with these women? This is a bestseller (albeit, that is a term that has a squishy definition at this point.)

It is part of a series, peruse if you can: https://www.goodreads.com/series/324507-cambric-creek

#3, The Werewolf breeding farm, sounds awesome.

Minneapolis Catholic school gunman ID’d as Robin Westman— while possible manifesto shows psychotic obsession with mass shooters

The deranged gunman who slaughtered two children and injured at least 17 others who were attending morning mass at a Catholic school in Minneapolis has been identified — as a disturbing video believed to have been posted by the shooter shows “kill Donald Trump” and “for the children” scrawled on gun magazines.

Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s, opened fire through the stained glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church during a celebratory back-to-school Mass filled with children, around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Notice: Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s

The cover-up begins. They did the same thing when referring to the transman shooter in Nashville, even though he had his pronouns written on his gun.

Aiden Hale (March 24, 1995 – March 27, 2023), previously referred to by the police by his birthname of Audrey Elizabeth Hale, was a 28-year-old former student of the Covenant School and a Nashville resident with no criminal record.[39] According to a former headmaster of the Covenant School, Hale attended the school when “around 10 years of age”.[40][41] MNPD Police Chief John Drake said Hale was under care for an emotional disorder and had legally purchased seven firearms, including three recovered from the shooting scene, between October 2020 and June 2022.[1]

Police first referred to Hale as a woman and used his birth name. On the day of the shooting, MNPD Chief John Drake said that authorities “feel that [Hale] identifies as trans, but we’re still in the initial investigation into all of that”.[39] Media sources subsequently reported Hale was a trans man.[42] His former art teacher and a former classmate recalled him coming out as transgender on Facebook in 2022.

But, seriously, what the fucking hell is wrong with Minnesota? Between the worship of St. Floyd of the Fentanyl, Tampon Tim, Tampon Tim’s beard praising BLM arson, and this violence-promoting assbag, what the hell is wrong when Minnesota?

Fuck off, Strawberry. Go find another drooling dementia patient to get sniffed and pawed by.

A fine song, but this line has always bugged me:

Still, she won’t be forced against her will
Says she don’t do drugs, but she does the pill

I see what he was trying to do with the repetition of “does” for drugs and hormonal contraception, but it really should have been the common usage “On The Pill.” It wouldn’t change the scansion, or the rhyme, and the idea is more clear. 99.9% of women on hormonal contraception are not “doing” them recreationally like the consumption of “drugs” in the intoxicating sense.

On topic with regards to WTF is wrong with Minnesota.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

I don’t think they’ll manage to get a judge to sign off on that nonsense but who knows?

      • Drake

But she stole that kid’s purse!

      • Brochettaward

To be clear I’m not endorsing calling a five year old the n-word (or really anyone), but free speech and all that.

It’s also curious that the guy filming was reportedly a pedo who was banned from being near children, and they didn’t bother with that. We can see where the priorities are. Punish the wrong-think.

This woman is going to get a second payday out of this.

  1. The Late P Brooks

    via CBS:

Three law enforcement sources told CBS News the shooter was Robin Westman, 23, from suburban Minneapolis. Westman’s name was officially changed from Robert Westman to Robin Westman in 2020, documents show.

Just a minor administrative detail. Nothing to see here.

    • Brochettaward

It’s still ridiculous to me that the manifesto was never released. We get every other piece of writing from these whack jobs. Had to be leaked to Steven Crowder. And supposedly for the families as if they’ve ever given a shit about that in the past.

  2. trshmnstr

Youre just trying to make STEVE SMiTH jealous with that minotaur gloryhole dreck.

Minnesota is one of the largest turkey growing states. Commercial turkeys have been bred for huge breasts. The huge breasts do not allow procreation the natural way…

There were several want ads in the Fargo-Moorhead newspaper looking for turkey milkers when I was in college. You couldn’t pay me enough money to jack off turkeys. I have SOME dignity.

60% are women. Also I had no idea Eiichiro Oda of “One Piece” fame was so world famous. Never read or watched the anime.

    • Brochettaward

Never got into One Piece even as a kid. There was some level of hype around the Netflix show, as well, and I thought it was blah. Mediocre acting and writing and some corny nonsense in it.

    • Nephilium

Well, I’ve read the top two at least.

And sweet cheebus I’m sorry I searched to see who Barbara Cartland was.

While finding precise sales numbers for any given author is nearly impossible, the list is based on approximate numbers provided or repeated by reliable sources……Authors such as Jane Austen, Miguel de Cervantes, Alexandre Dumas, Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle, Victor Hugo, Jules Verne, Ernest Hemingway, Jack Higgins, Isaac Asimov and Leon Uris have not been included in the table because no exact figures could be found”

      Fucks sake.

  13. cyto

    They are doing it again.

Minnesota shooter put out an hour long video manifesto. Trans.

    ABC now

Shows picture of him from 3 years ago before transition. Carefully tiptoeing around… “We have…. uh…. an application… an application was filed…. for a… uh… for a name change…. uh…. for the same birthdate…..”

Switch to gun – very detailed. “We know that he had guns that were obtained legally. They were purchased recently. We know that he was able to purchase guns legally and that there was nothing that stopped him from obtaining guns”

Followed by 15 minutes of experts talking about gun control.

Not one sentence about him being a trans woman. Not one second from the video manifesto. Just “changed name to Robin”

    That’s it.

    Amazing where we are.

    • cyto

BTW. They mentioned that there “is a video that appears to have been timed for release”… but they are pretending that it can’t be authenticated, so doesn’t warrant another mention

    • invisible finger

ABC et al are in the drama business, not the information business.

      • cyto

Well, that is 100 percent incorrect. That is what people tried to fly a decade or 2 ago. We know better.

This is coordinated disinformation. Propaganda if you will.

They think it is extremely important that information is carefully controlled.

What is amazing is the tight coordination. All outlets have magically decided the exact same unbelievable thing at the exact same time. They have photos of Robin in pigtails and earrings and makeup, but they use a years old photo with a scruff of a beard and wild curly red hair.

Like a reverse Treyvon Martin with his 12 year old photo.

    • SDF-7

I’m not sure what’s more depressing these days… that the media still think they haven’t burned their credibility — or that those who do still believe them obviously still vote en masse (and I assume are the core “protestors” of the No Kings and other crap).

Of course… we also have the genius philosophers of the “Saint Luigi” movement… they may not believe the media, but nor do they care.

I apparently need to go outside, pick a cloud and tie an onion to my belt or something….

      • Brochettaward

Of course… we also have the genius philosophers of the “Saint Luigi” movement… they may not believe the media, but nor do they care.

They’re basically still NPC’s. Just Marxist flavored ones. They believe the media when it suits their preconceived notions.

    • Brochettaward

You know, the trans thing is only an issue for me because I wonder how “trans” most of these people are and how much of their mental illness isn’t being treated because we have to accept people’s chosen identities and act as if changing their gender is going to be the cure of all that ails them.

      • cyto

Absolutely. It is the new “I’m crazy” uniform. Might be a way to stay out of institutions if you have untreated schizophrenia or something.

I absolutely think it is more crazy people hiding as Trans than Trans people are suddenly murderous mass killers.

      • Nephilium

I feel sorry for all the tomboys, lesbians, gays, and bisexuals who are being told they’re not alright.

And I’m pissed that it’s the so called tolerant left who’s doing it.

      • Bobarian LMD

Back when Trans was actually part of the DSM, only a small % of the small % of people who claimed gender dysphoria were actually diagnosed with that condition.

        Mostly just crazy.

      • invisible finger

The sad facr is their mental illness is being “treated”.

SSRI’s and Marxism are a lethal combination.

      • rhywun

I’m not into hairy or burly myself but jeebus that prancing queen is not in my wheelhouse either.

    • rhywun

The whole thing is another case of “I dare you to object to this obvious nonsense”.

Straight from the playbook. Will they learn the lesson that maybe hating your fan base isn’t such a great strategy, I wonder.

      • trshmnstr

Will they learn the lesson that maybe hating your fan base isn’t such a great strategy

No, because the sports and gambling addicts wouldn’t be caught dead doing anything else.

  14. The Late P Brooks

We know that he was able to purchase guns legally and that there was nothing that stopped him from obtaining guns

    There’s your trouble.

    • cyto

You laugh… but it worked on the wife. She got angry that I even mentioned that they didnt say trans. Because someone has to do something about all the guns.

They know their audience. They know how to manipulate them.

The wife is from up near Duluth. She was saying we have 120 guns for every 100 Americans. Nobody needs that many guns.

Her dad probably has a dozen guns. Multiple hunting rifles and shotguns, as well as handguns.

She doesn’t see the correlation at all.

      Propaganda absolutely works.

      • SDF-7

And let me guess — all the media she consumes just says the 14 year old Queen of the Scots was brandishing a knife for no reason?

Because getting rid of all the guns puts us right on that track — it isn’t as if we don’t have plenty of examples in the “properly civilized” world.

      • cyto

They dont mention that at all. Doesn’t exist

    • invisible finger

Your pristine wilderness is being wrecked by (checks notes) plants:

The National Park Service removed illegal marijuana plants from California’s Sequoia National Park this month. Rangers from the park service collaborated with special agents from the Bureau of Land Management in an operation that cleared 2,377 fully grown marijuana plants and 2,000 pounds of trash, according to an NPS press release.

The 13-acre grow site was cleared using hand labor and helicopters.

Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks are 866,000 acres between them. I’m not condoning using the land for an ad hoc farm, but let’s not get too breathless about the environmental damage, either.

      • Mojeaux

I don’t have a problem with fanfic per se. It’s how people learn to write their own stuff. It’s training wheels. Sandbox. It’s also where people can correct what they feel is an author’s mistakes. It’s better than writing hate mail to the author for not doing what they wanted her to do, and sometimes the author wrote genuine shit that the fanficcer makes better. That’s fine.

        BUT

My libertarian soul twists in agony because nobody owes me shit, but this is how I feel:

        I e said it before,
        I’ll say it again.

Behold the power of the cloaca.

  26. B.P.

It’s amazing that people like Jen Psaki go along with rebroadcasting the gun control “thoughts and prayers” talking points with no shame. People of good faith offer up their condolences in their own language, only to get crapped on for political purposes by assholes like Psaki. Hey Jen, you might notice that this shooting was at a Catholic school, and some of the parents you claim to speak for actually do believe in the power of prayer.

    • trshmnstr

The unspoken part is that the alternative to thoughts and prayers is some rather illiberal treatment of trannies and their allies.

It’s usually not good to heckle your opposition into action. They often don’t do what you want.

    • Suthenboy

Wife just had me listen to a Newmax rant on the subject. The mistake so often made is to try to argue rationally with the gun grabbers.
Let me sum it up, if I may: They dont give a fuck about children. They dont give a fuck about gun violence. They dont give a fuck about crime.
What they want is to disarm you. Why? Look at England and you will see. The populace is at the mercy of tyranny and cant do anything about it. FFS they just arrested a 14 yo girl for defending herself and her 12 yo sister from potential sexual assault. The potential assaulters are walking free and unnamed.
Here is the proper response: Fuck you. You cant have my guns. That is it.

  27. Suthenboy

And now a rant on Cracker Barrel. All of the rational arguments, how other companies had woke disasters etc etc. “Why did they do it? It’s like they dont want to make money”

Now you are catching on. Critical theory is about tearing down Chesterson’s fence and then skin suiting every institution to destroy the culture. They dont give a fuck about the money. They dont give a fuck about the company, its employees or the customers. It is about destroying the culture of people who wont bend the knee.

    • Wood Chipped Wednesday

My family had written off Cracker Barrel years ago since we’ve only received shitty service there so… karma. Maybe they should’ve served me.

      • trshmnstr

We went as recently as may, with some skepticism because our last few visits (not just one location) have been underwhelming. So was this last visit, so CB is right out as a roadtrip stop. We’re leaving on a roadtrip tomorrow and we’ll be making other plans

  28. DEG

It is part of a series, peruse if you can

    No thanks.

As an 18 year old I won’t lie and say I haven’t used AI before, but I’m honestly not a fan of having to spend 40$ in my history 120 class for an AI software for this class.

    • Threedoor

      Wut?

They make you buy AI software for a freshman history class?!

      Why?

      • Wood Chipped Wednesday

it’s some sort of forum thing, I honestly don’t understand it.

Here is what i found online

“an AI-powered educational platform that fosters student curiosity and engagement through inquiry-based online discussions and writing assessments. It provides students with instant, AI-driven feedback on their writing, promoting critical thinking and better communication skills.”

      • Wood Chipped Wednesday

        As to why…
I don’t know, my professor doesn’t even know, he told us that he didn’t understand it either.

      • UnCivilServant

If the professor doesn’t know why would the answer be “Don’t waste money on this – we don’t use it.”

      • Wood Chipped Wednesday

I wish, Uncivil. He said the university or department chair is telling him to use it. But nonetheless, I’m 40$ lighter.

      • Threedoor

Should have told the U “fuck you, no.”

The last three semesters I went they moved all the grade reporting online so they could charge a $35 per class ‘technology fee.’

It’s been more than a decade and I have no idea what my grades were those three semesters.

        Don’t care.
I know I failed two classes, missed one too many labs and bombed a final where spelling was graded.

  30. R C Dean

“Notice: Robin Westman, who is in his early 20s”

Well, he is a dude. Heavily modified, I gather, but still a dude. If “fully transitioned”, I could make a case for calling him a transwoman, but we still don’t have pronouns for that.

    • SarumanTheWoefullyIgnorant

Don’t call them trans. They’re pretend women and men. Who treat genetics like it’s clothing they can take off and on at will. Like an internet avatar.

“an AI-powered educational platform that fosters student curiosity and engagement through inquiry-based online discussions and writing assessments. It provides students with instant, AI-driven feedback on their writing, promoting critical thinking and better communication skills.”

That makes the professor redundant. Ask for a tuition discount.

    • Wood Chipped Wednesday

I should lol. My favorite thing about the claim is that it says it’ll promote critical thinking, but with ai. bleh.
      .

    • R.J.

      Go away. Baitin’.

      • JaimeRoberto (carnitas/spicy salsa)

Careful. You’ll end up with Long Baitin’. Symptoms include blindness, hairy palms, general malaise and anal leakage.

      • Tres Cool

        You forgot possible dehydration.

  32. Tres Cool

If Minnesota wants men on the field that can dance and move, they need Technoviking on the cheer squad.

  33. The Late P Brooks

it says it’ll promote critical thinking

“What is the point of this?”

    • Threedoor

      Lighten your wallet.
