O garment not golden but gilded,
O garden where all men may dwell,
O tower not of ivory, but builded
By hands that reach heaven from hell;
O mystical rose of the mire,
O house not of gold but of gain,
O house of unquenchable fire,
Our Lady of Pain!

The wound that cannot be allowed to heal, the bloody shirt that can never dry to an indistinct brown but kept fresh and red and dripping, waving eternal; voices that cry, “Never forget, never forgive!” but hands that turn the 9/11 site terror-green.

Look, man… All she was saying is that White people need to have everything they’ve built or bought stolen from them and then exterminated. Y’all don’t have to be all mean to her by asking a public official to explain the commie nonsense she said repeatedly on social media.
So… the Stranger Things finale was so terrible that a widely-discussed topic has become that there is a secret “real” finale that will air tonight, undoing the shitty finale because it was all a dream/hallucination. Here’s a breakdown of it copespiracy.
I have a tendency to get stuck on songs for a few days at a time. My current one. What a damn good song. It always comes back to me.

You’re all at work, right?
Where else would I be?
Somali’s need money.
Empty daycare centers won’t pay for themselves.
No need to get a big head about it.
We’re all doing out own frame-by-frame analysis of the ICE shooting.
I’m done.
Justified.
Next?
From the comfort of my home office it looks like it was about a 50/50 call. She probably was trying to avoid the cop by turning right, but if I’m in the shoes of the cop and she backs up and then puts it in drive, I don’t really have time to see which way her wheels are pointed. I’ve never been a soldier nor a cop, so I don’t know what his training would have told him in this situation.
I’d probably vote to acquit based on what I have seen, but it’s very borderline as self defense. It looks to me as though he was clear of the vehicle when he fired.
I finished at 2:30.
Dude I know it’s a Sugarfree links, but timestamping your ejaculations is kind of extreme.
If you think that’s bad, don’t ask him what is in the jar.
Could be worse — Sean could let us know how he finished all over the time/space continuum by “regenerating” in the console room.
“That looks like jizz. Eastern European jizz.” ~ Smokin’ Aces. What a fine film.
I’ve documented every First since I was a toddler. Unfortunately some of the Firsts that occurred when I was a baby were lost due to horrible abuse and neglectful oversight.
Rainbow Dash of course.
The 37-year-old, who has faced backlash for blasting homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in the past, teared up when she emerged briefly from her apartment building in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, at about 9 a.m.
Crown Heights? I guess it has been gentrified since the riots. I can’t see her living in an non-gentrified neighborhood.
And I guess I should read the whole article before posting:
Weaver once whined, too, about gentrification in her own Crown Heights neighborhood — despite being a middle class white woman who attended Bryn Mawr College and NYU.
She could always move to East New York. (Highest crime in the city – she’ll love the vibrancy.)
We have a niece who moved to a rough part of MPLS right after the last round of riots for social justice reasons. While showing us the property shortly after buying it, my daughter almost stepped on a discarded hypodermic needle. I grabbed her and pointed out the needle, to which my wife charitabley suggested was from a diabetic. I suggested alleyways weren’t the usual venue for taking insulin. The niece and husband had a child 2 years ago and were home invaded last year and got their cars stolen during that event. I think they are getting sick of the wonderful diversity and are thinking of moving soon.
Bigots believe in White Flight?
I’ve heard that happens but wow. That’s bananas.
Fuck NY.

Weakness. Disgraceful.
Meanwhile, in the rest of America…
I was 13 when Kent State happened. I found it appalling at the time.
Senior citizen kinnath would probably have a much different reaction.
“Paid protestor gets early retirement.”
I was too young to be aware of Kent State at the time so my memories of the event were framed by the Neil Young narrative and edited videos. I remember being a teenager and becoming incensed seeing video of “old” women clucking about those kids having it coming.
Once I “grew up” and learned the whole story – different reaction.
One of my aunts was at Kent when the shooting happened. From the lore that has been shared in the family, she was dancing naked on the hood of a car when she got arrested.
Grandpa was not amused.
I’m an 80s kid.
Learned about Kent state from my folks. Vet/hippies/80s kinda yuppies.
What I have read about on my own. Yeah not the same as the line I learned growing up.
I suspect we may soon find out what the threshold for invoking the Insurrection Act is.
The governor could send in the state police or the national guard, but I don’t see Walz doing that.
Trump is too busy ordering defense contractors to cut CEO pay and cancel dividends and stock buybacks to invoke the insurrection act.
He’ll only send them in to prevent ICE from doing their job.
They *want* lawlessness. They need new riots.
He’s more likely to do it to force Federal agents out at this point.
Hmmmm, SDF-7 raises an interesting point. Yeah, I can see Walz going through the motions and deliberately being inept.
Inept is what Waltz does best.
Days of Floyd 2.0 might be coming to an urban area near you.
Of course, Trump has rehearsed a response with his recent NG deployments. There precedents, including the Whisky Rebellion; 1932 Bonus Army dispersal; Little Rock, 1957; University of Alabama integration, 1963; UMiss integration, 1962; Detroit riots 1967, Newark Riots, 1967 and so forth.
Interesting times ahead.
This. The left has been eagerly waiting for exactly this to happen.
It was inevitable.
Reminds me of LA / CHP last year.
Can’t blame the cops — with the mayor immediately blaming ICE, it was pretty clear no one would have their backs if it came down to it. And of course these asshole leftists want a Kent State moment because they think it will spark the Glorious Revolution or something.
Talk about a no-win scenario.
As I mentioned in another chat:
It’s just tiring to be able to predict the actions, see them happen, and see the exact storylines play out.
Maybe I’m just tired of reboots and remakes.
Tiring, and frustrating, to see a false narrative being spun in real time, people lapping it up, and the whole time knowing it can easily be disproved, but never will be.
That sounds like a violation of the establishment clause by endorsing a religion. Can we sue?
Yes, but only by in person application to the Sharia Court of Blasphemy and Lawsuits by Damned Infidels Against the will of Allah. The court has locations in Mecca, Qom (for now), London, and Tripoli.
Please find my response in the attached package. There will be a slight ping when first removed. Do not discard.
I like the cut of your jib, whippersnapper.
Sometimes it’s a religion, other times it’s a floor wax or a dessert topping.
Whatever is needed for the narrative in play.
Damn…there’s ugly crying, then there’s whatever that is. That first picture of Weaver could be subtitled, ‘Aging crack whore running away from a dispute with her business manager.’
Also – ‘copespiracy’ in an excellent portmanteau, and I’ll be using it in the future.
She seems nice.
This is not a serious person, but she is going to be making serious decisions.
These are the kinds of people nepo red-diaper babies like Z surround themselves with. It is very unlikely he is aware of a “serious” person for any of the positions, real or made up like this one, in his cabinet.
lol
The IRA want’s a word.
Your apostrophe in “wants” is as much terrorism as anything the IRA did.
@Not Adahn, from the dead thread:
The captain (and founder) of the women’s para ice hockey team has been on my Chicago team longer than I have. We’ve had some great conversations. The main problem is there just aren’t enough women’s teams to compete. There are tons of players in the US and Canada, but in other countries women are often treated as second class citizens, and disabled women might as well not even exist. So there is no funding, no coaching, no leagues to play in. They’ve been working hard at this for years.
Thank you soulless corporate account I needed the laugh
Outstanding.
Gamestop bought a sense of humor with Melvin capital’s money.
“Juke Box Hero” is a manifesto.
@Sensei from dedthred:
Oh, I don’t think it was about men reading ROMANCE. It was about men reading any fiction that scolds them for:
* not embracing what liberal white women embrace
* not embracing what liberal non-white women embrace
* not embracing being emasculated in print
* not embracing being villainized in print
* not allowing women to emasculate them
* not striving to emasculate themselves
* being men
Waaaaaahhhhhh. The estrogen is strong in this one.
A LOT of genre romance had men being savages, usually restrained ones, sometimes not (but the adage “be attractive, don’t be unattractive” holds firm here). IMO, it celebrate(s/d) that. It is/was the bread and butter of the genre I grew up on. I love reading and writing restrained savages.
I had this DM convo yesterday with someone I THINK is a young female author:
==== begin convo ====
HER: I saw your website. What’s your thought process when it comes to writing male characters?
ME: Hmm… I start with the premise that they’re human and have the same wants and needs as everyone else. Men gossip as much or more than women, but they call it “shooting the breeze,” and say stuff casually, low-key, right? So it doesn’t FEEL like gossip, but it’s the same thing.
BUT many men are also just savages in fine clothing and they need to conquer. I mean, the entire reason men love sports is to feel like a warrior vicariously, and that’s okay. A civilized society has no use for savages until it does, and then they’re there to pick up the fight and they probably enjoy it. They hurt. They bleed. They overcome. They love and protect their women and families. They’re low-key until they need to step up.
Mind you, this is all sweeping generalities, and I’m not talking about abusive assholes.
So the main dudes in my first book are: 1. a romantic and a scholar; 2. an artist and hedonist; 3. a savage and protector. But they ALL step up when they have to, in their own way.
My pirate (book 4) is what I call a “reluctant alpha” because he was forced into a role that demanded things outside his personality and then he was that, and he settled in and embraced it.
HER: I will admit that I am trying to include more males later on in my series to balance the gender ratio out a degree, without killing the dudes off—but I just find them kinda boring and can never really put together an aesthetic or personality that seems interesting for a guy
ME: So, why do you feel like you need to balance out the gender ratio?
HER: I don’t actually care to or want to, but I noticed I’ve got a tendency to kill off the males and I just never get ideas for male characters; meanwhile, I’ve got plenty female and find coming up with stuff for them easy, but I got a feeling some are gonna take exception or view it as sexist, or they’re gonna ask for more males and I’m not gonna be sure what people want in a male character […] I’m just looking ahead and anticipating what a fan base might want and was kinda hoping to one day have one who’d want input or want to request something—within reason, I mean, whatever doesn’t jeopardize my vision but whatever would make someone a lil extra happier. But yeah you’re right. I do get hung up on silly things sometimes I guess.
ME: [insert a long treatise of my writing philosophy here] If you ask my male readers, they’ll tell you I’m a heroine-centric writer. I’m always down for a good kick-ass heroine. But I genuinely like men and I find them interesting. I like to explore their tragedies too. I just generally like people who take no shit.
HER: Yeah I did have some ideas for an upcoming one that I was thinking of toning down / outright altering just because I felt like it might end up being too much uncomfortable tbh.
==== end convo ====
I don’t have an opinion on what she feels about men or writing men or anything. Every cat his rat. But two things:
1. This is the way A LOT of girls and young women who write fanfic and are being brought up on this Female Ghostbusters bullshit think. They’re writing fanfic about effeminate boys (sorry, but I’m going to trace this back to anime/manga and Korean and Japanese boybands), and even the “monster-fuckers” are (so I’ve heard) asking for consent, checking off all the approved diversity boxes, and calling disabled people “wheelchair users.” Whatever. So, that’s why I think she’s young
2. She doesn’t know anything about men. If she is what I think she is, neither do her cohorts.
3. None of them know what they want, just that what they have to choose from isn’t it.
And so we come to my current favorite aphorism: “A man who is not capable of great violence isn’t virtuous. He’s harmless.” Harmless men are not sexually attractive.
It appears she personally has no interest in men.
It’s going to make writing a bit difficult…
I got that impression too.
Reading what you wrote and reflecting on my circumstance from the other side of the mirror, the stuff I’ve been writing in recent years has been mostly in plots and social spheres that are primarily male, and would not organically contain females. The tarnished sterling stories were mainly locked to a male narrator’s perspective, but I think I had some good girls in there.
Then I reflected on the stuff I haven’t shared. The female characters in Arvid’s Road trip are very human characters. So it’s not that I can’t, I’ve just been choosing stories where they didn’t show up. Arvid’s Road Trip is still a long way from completion, and needs a better title. (If I keep the current pace, the book will be as long as some of Mo’s. I usually aim for 100k, but at 43k, it’s nowhere near the halfway mark.)
Well, all the writing advice I shared with her was basically, “Don’t betray your vision or characters by writing what you think someone else wants, even if you think you should.”
Men need their spaces and their spaces have been invaded and are being invaded further. I understand the resentment. So, in fictionland, you’ve got scifi and fantasy that flies under the white liberal establishment’s radar while they wail about men not reading fiction.
But in their world, “men not reading fiction” means they’d take away everything men like if they could.
Mojeaux:
This may be of interest to you. It debunks the men read less than women stat.
In my reflection, the question I had asked myself was “am I any good at writing female characters?” I have no doubts about my ability to write men. In my quick inventory of my work I noted the skew of what I’ve decided to work on.
I went hunting for a scene from Arvid’s Road Trip to share but the one I thought of was a conflation of two separate scenes, one which more reflected the boys’ characters. The most succinct expression of the girls’ personalities has a brief conversational tangent about clothes, but it is probably the shortest snippet which illustrates the three without requiring any supporting text.
@UCS, I think that’s a wonderful exchange and very true to life. I REALLY like clothes and beauty and pretty things, and I make a big deal out of it. There are some women who don’t care. There are some women who rely on clothes to tell them or remind them who they are, bolster their confidence, wield as a weapon–and that’s okay.
I wrote a 90,000-word novel that started with ONE DRESS I saw at Saks one day. Seriously.
The thing I think men don’t know and women forget (or don’t want to admit) is, women don’t dress up for men. They dress for each other AND to be able to see themselves in a big window as they’re walking by and think, “Damn, I’m hot.” The catcalls are either a bonus or an irritant, depending on who’s doing the whistling.
Thank you. It means a lot to hear that, actually.
I did know about the “dress to impress who?” bit – I don’t recall if I heard it first from you or from other sources.
Excellent read, Neph, thanks!
@Mr. Ilium – Do online articles count towards reading statistics?
UCS:
I believe they were talking about novels/novellas/short stories, not articles.
If someone ever tells me that men lack empathy, I’m going to show them this conversation.
***
For someone of my considerable degeneracy, I don’t look at very much explicit porn. But I do read a fair amount of erotic fiction (and not just as stroke-off material, although that’s nice too.) And my tastes in that regard fall very much in line with, “Harmless men are not sexually attractive.” To expand a bit, harmless men are not attractive in any way. When you have the main character in a story stripped of any way to impose his will on his environment, you end up with the cast of Sex and the City. Which to me, was the biggest boner-killer since my poster of Hillary Clinton in a black vinyl corset…
Wait, what?
Most of my male characters are “problematic.” Some who are/were capable of great violence are just too laid back to get into a war just ‘cuz or they’re tired, but they can still rally or they have a past that’s caught up with them. Or they just wage war in a different way. This is easier to do with historical fiction because then my male characters can just go all out and do whatever, e.g., (from Cods & Cuntes):
If you’re gonna go to war, win the fucking thing.
Now, you also have to understand that I grew up in a culture that teaches men to suffer their load under stoic gentility and oh, forget that part in the New Testament where Christ pulled out the bullwhip, and the only socially acceptable form of rampant male aggression is in a courtroom (or on the Saturday-morning basketball court, but I don’t think they do that anymore). See: Mitt Romney.
A lot of people like Trump in spite of his assholery, stupidity, impetuousness, attention whoring, willingness to sell his soul for a little flattery, because he’s STILL going to bring the hammer down when he wants to and he’s not afraid to say “fuck you” to people who need to be told “fuck you.” Sometimes all people need is a vague seed of hope that all is not lost.
And by the way, I was always confused about this and it NEVER sat right with me, even when I was a little girl.
I recall a writer who said something about the need for alpha males because there are wolves out there attacking the sheep and it isn’t enough to have sheepdogs protecting the sheep. You actually need some men willing to go out and hunt the wolves.
This is from the fingertips of our own @RCDean from some time ago that I kept (yes, I do keep shit you people post):
TL/DR: Mojeaux – heroine chic.
😆 Guilty.
I had a fan/beta reader say, “I can tell when you don’t love your heroine.”
She’s likely not ever been around harmless males. Fed soy, told that red meat and sun exposure is bad for them, undeveloped jaws and a penchant for being just like girls in school settings while being haven been given medical grade speed half their lives.
Hm. They’re still wearing placebo masks. That will probably go on long after everyone has forgotten why the practice began.
Who are “they”?
I don’t know whom Derpy is talking about. I’ll toss out that I still see people occasionally wearing face diapers at the grocery store.
Oh. I guess I should have paid more attention to the first picture on the post.
The gal who handed me my Whataburger yesterday.
I was going on the assumption that was an image from the before times, the long long ago, when they felt virtuous advertising their insanity. If that’s a current image… SMDH. Burn it all down.
That’s what I thought, so I figured Derp was talking about something that had happened to him.
A google image search suggests that it is probably from 2022, which means they’ve been doing this annually for five fucking years. That might be even worse than present-day mask wearing.
Who? What? Wheah?
first image with Pelosi speeh-i-fying. Don’t you people (you know, *you*people) even read the articles?
What?
I think those masks were photoshopped in, but with the Dems it’s hard to know.
Mea culpa. I thought the pic was from this week’s ceremony. I watched part of it. They were singing God Bless America.

Did they dye the water in The World’s Biggest Urinal green, or is that only for Saint Patrick’s day?
Floaty-positive day going on, right now. Dinner w Dad in a bit so I’ll throw this out for thoughts:
Got a hit from Cornerstone Staffing and I had an intro with an AI Assistant (“Taylor AI Recruiter”) and set up a real phone interview for tomorrow afternoon. I have to slip out of Walmart a bit early, but I’ve got plenty o’ PTTO accrued. (Never had that acronym before. First time with PTO, as well. Huh.) Here’s what I know for now:
Mail Technician Associate – So working in a mail room, with “1 year experience REQUIRED,” which I can kinda get away with. I know:
In Carmel, IN
Mon-Fri, 830am – 430pm
$16-$18.25 /hr
Start Jan 12 (That seems suspect, or an onboarding date. Hrm.)
Huh. Well, each of those is a massive improvement. I tried to check, but I’ll only find out temp/seasonal or full-time tomorrow. I suspect it’s gonna be a seasonal thing, sadly. (I have outside med coverage now, outside Medicaid. $380/mo (Apparently, be jealous.))
I make $14 now, Thurs-Mon, and Walmart benefits don’t kick in til Jan 30, cuz I missed a deadline. Having the idea of a normal weekend is massively attractive. I still don’t know anyone in town. I don’t like I’ve been at Walmart for 10mo despite continuous searching for something with future ‘potential’ with what I’m good at.
I did a couple remote contracts grading standardized testing essays, and that was pretty solid, actually, but only two 6week contracts, months apart.
Trying to feel out a temp boost over longer term ‘stability,’ which is likely NOT what I really need at the moment. *sincere, puzzly face affixed*
Any thoughts appreciated. The smallest stuff can jog the funniest things. Just ask Timmy. those little strings are such fun to pull! They make things go sluice!
As the backlash against her appointment continued to mount, Weaver defended her record but acknowledged she did have some regret over her past remarks.
I’m sorry you Nazi bastards are so meanspirited and hateful.
More like she has regret that her past comments have been discovered.
She’s a stupid and hypocritical bitch who shouldn’t be in charge of a lemonade stand, much less in a position of governmental power and influence.

The updated “Void if Altered” policy explicitly prohibits changing the appearance of park passes to cover up any information. Field staff who encounter altered passes are instructed to request that stickers or coverings be removed. If stickers cannot be removed and the validity of the pass is in doubt, “the visitor should be charged the regular entrance fee or given the option to purchase another pass.”
“Defacing the pass in any way, including writing on it or adding stickers or other coverings, is a form of altering the pass,” the policy says. “Altering a pass can cover up important information and required security features necessary to prevent fraud.”

Now they are trying to inflate the ICE body count like they did with Jan 6. https://www.sfgate.com/news/article/driver-shot-in-minneapolis-is-the-at-least-the-21282068.php
Five people seems like a small number of casualties if we’re getting rid of tens of thousands of criminals.
A few days ago 55 died in Venezuela, most by gun fire, I would guess.
ICE hasn’t really come off great with some of the prior shootings, but it speaks to how tired of the left’s agitprop bullshit that most people are that there’s barely even a yawn over it.
Every time someone on the left talks about Jan 6th the bodycount seems to get higher. Eventually they’ll claim that every police officer who dies was a victim of that day to make it seem like thousands lost their lives.
Unless the SFGate writers are personally taking illegal immigrants into their homes they can go fuck themselves with this tedious bullshit.
No mention of the ICE detainees killed by a shooter in Dallas, I wonder why?
Incentives, how do they work?
Larry Page, the Google co-founder and world’s second-richest person, has reportedly left California amid concerns about a wealth tax on billionaires.
Mr Page has moved the registrations of several entities, including his family office and flying car business from California to Delaware, according to filings with the states.
He has also personally moved out of the state ahead of a potential vote on a 5pc wealth tax, according to Business Insider, which first reported the move.
Someone points a gun at you and says “If you stick around, I’m going to take your stuff.” Gee, what do you do?
You’re telling me that people with means can just do that? Who would’ve thunk.
And it’s hardly just billionaires who have “found the means” to get out of there in recent years.
I am disgusted that all the bigots out there are not impressed by Stranger Things defeating its big bads through the power of GAY BOY MAGIC.
I think that is a tv show? Netflix so it doesn’t exist in my world. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yup. Some people think it’ll be the last cultural phenomenon or water cooler type show, though I have my doubts. Regardless they fucked the ending up badly which isn’t that atypical I suppose. The show was always incredibly uneven at best. Had like two good seasons in my book. Maybe 2.5 So sucked as much as it ever was close to being good.
I haven’t finished the final season, but I can see where it’s going and I’ve obviously heard some things that happen.
They took a side character who spent the entire first season as little more than a McGuffin and then did almost nothing else for the rest of the series and turned him into the main character/key to everything right at the end. The literal source of his power? Him coming to terms with being a big old gay which the creators contend was always the plan. Even if you accept the character was always going to turn out gay, which may be somewhat believable, it’s the only aspect of this that was really built up and established in the rest of the series. Him gaining powers in the final season because he’s gay and giving him a 12 minute coming out monologue (yes, 12 fucking minutes – who the fuck can say that isn’t self-indulgent as fuck?) well after he had already come out to a few characters and it was clear as day that he was gay for two seasons (as in, there was no ambiguity) was just patently absurd.
They took the girl who was the key to everything trope that the series was basically based around for 4 seasons and made it literally GAY BOY MAGIC that saves the day while pushing her to the side. None of what they did was earned whatsoever.
That’s my hot take at least.
Sounds like something that might have been stunning and brave a decade or two ago.
But gay boys are better than girls now anyway, especially when they pretend to be girls. THAT would have been really stunning and brave.
They haven’t even remotely hidden their goals. They say they made the coming out shit so long so that your homophobic or bigoted uncle wouldn’t be able to just skip over it.
The issue is less with the sexuality and more like the sudden, dramatically violent shift in who the primary character was. They can claim otherwise all they want, but it wasn’t established at all in the previous 4 seasons. He was the member of the main cast you’d probably say was underused and developed since the very beginning and it includes characters added in after seasons.
Then there’s just the fact that they simply have waaaaayyyy too many god damn characters fighting for screen time and they somehow thought it was wise to give some character introduced in the last season more screen time than the original cast.
This will not sound real, but I swear it is…
The ship in Star Trek: Discovery is powered by gay love.
It’s the power of math/science?
I haven’t heard that one, but I would never actually stoop as low to watch that of all things.
Well, yeah. Star Trek, ya know.
Gay love and fungus!
Another pay-stream show that might as well not exist. And of course, a different pay stream than the pay stream you have to subscribe to for the other show.
Kid got groomed and mind fucked by the bad guy. Goes gay.
I’m surprised the writers didn’t even see what they wrote.
Looking at the footage of the Minneapolis shooting, the Honda the woman was behind the wheel of obviously had a failure of the self-driving system after she was incapacitated, as it propelled itself into a parked vehicle and a utility pole.
Apparently a Pilot program.
Ajin-san!
“Damn you to hell, Rodrigo!”
Fuck. Looks like my refrigerator is dying. Just what I didn’t need to spend money on…
Plus keeping the contents alive until replaced.
Good luck!
Before you get too mad, I had to replace my Subzero a couple years ago.
I hear the modern ones are no better than the crap fridgedere builds.
Well, I found a new way to build confidence and get over some imposter syndrome. When you read a book that’s considered well regarded and iconic and see glaring errors in it. There should not be a book in the current day talking about angel shooters without at least a passing reference to the new meaning.
Im sure some drunk woman mad at her date/boyfriend wont abuse that at all.
Specially if she includes the lime.
Also, does it work at gay bars? Or is that a real drink?
STEVE SMITH SHOT PLEASE
Yea. That is some real tedious bullshit to me. I always forget when women are grown adults with agency, the supposed equals of men and when they need to be protected…often times from themselves.
Its rough out there….
“The push for safety in bars comes as nightlife becomes more dangerous — especially for women.”
Is it really more dangerous?
https://x.com/MuhammadAKJ/status/1868329753020928228
Meh. I don’t have an issue with a code word for a girl to request a bouncer/cab called discretely. Different bars may have different orders and key words, if they do, they’ll usually be posted in the woman’s restroom.
I played this at the end of the morning post. It is also appropriate here:
