Star status: boring. We get two interactions this week, the alignment of Sun – Mercury – Saturn on Thursday, followed up by Mercury moving out of that and into Pisces. Mercury and fish. What could go wrong? But for the Pisces, enjoy Saturday.

Poppy desu.

Repose of the false heart, indignation, violence.
I’m so getting laid.
Me too!
🤣😂
“Cancer: 4 of Swords – Vigilance, retreat, solitude, exile, tomb.”
Sounds like I’m using the noise cancelling headphones on someone.
About right. Should be “Vigilance, retreat womb,” but close enough.
The noise cancelling headphones still play.
I may be getting laid but I’m not sure I’ll care.
Laid is better than laid out.
Sagittarius: 7 of Coins – Investments or efforts paying off, plans coming to fruition.
It’s a good week to burn my house for the insurance?
*note to self: insure house first
So that’s Poppy?
Huh.
Grok says this is a legit photo. Wouldn’t have believed it.

Hillary is looking kinda hot with black hair.
It will be called a deepfake if it hasn’t already.
Aries: The Fool reversed – Negligence, absence, distribution, carelessness, apathy, nullity, vanity.

The good news about the released Epstein stuff – this woman wasn’t a liar. The bad news is what she said was true and she disappeared while police custody to never be seen again.

I assume you believed all the satanic ritual abuse stories from the 1980s too?
They were made to do it because of Dungeons and Dragons.
People are still playing D&D so it checks out.
What were those ‘eating fancy meals w courses all based on eating humans’ events? Like actual desserts, but (an obvious one) made to look like ‘actual’ fingers from a lady? And something to ‘represent’ a fetus (or an aborted one?) and shit.
Those were real parties attended by real, big people. *shrug* I can see that freakin’ out a normie. Here’s a pic with that “David Nobody” who did shit like this. Apparently this is him as the ‘model’ for an (IMO tamer) example. *shrug* It was a weirdly ‘popular’ thing for a bit, so rumors go.

Not D&D. It was hard rock. Or the White Album.
Huh. Y’all dont watch the news much. You should try to keep up.
At this point nothing she says there is unbelievable.
The stuff being released is dark and evil as the worst rumors. Still only 2 arrests.
Burn the witches!!!
Like the “I wasn’t aware of anything. Well, the murders, sure, but not the cannibalism!”.
“Leo: Page of Wands reversed – Anecdotes, announcements, evil news, indecision, instability.”
Yep, nope, nope, yes, haven’t slipped and fallen on the snow yet today.
Anecdotes, announcements, evil news, indecision, instability.
To be sufficiently shitty or not to be sufficiently shitty?

Remarkably appropriate! (I wouldn’t say I’m “enchanted,” but the others are fair game.) Had semi-fluffy interviews since the Tribune, but tomorrow morn’s my first Big interview since. And this one’s in a police station. (Bit of a curve for me.) I’m comfortable with any job questions, cuz it is in my wheelhouse, though it’ll be interesting to hear their other questions. Didn’t have time to ‘properly’ detox my THC use, though I have fake piss, easy enough at CVS, and I doubt they’ll use hair. (I have no idea what their procedures are gonna be, pretty much regarding everything.)
Anyone ever interview for an admin or support role at a police station /dept? I suppose any govt gig, frankly. (I know there are several of y’all about.) Anything y’all think I should know would be greatly appreciated. Lt. Norris awaits at 8am. Certainly will be a curious affair, all of it.
I hope you dont get subjected to a polygraph. I took one at Ft. Meade that lasted nearly 3 hours.
Don’t arouse me further, Tres! All those.. *electrodes*, all in sensitive places…
(…don’t stop now…)
Hate to ruin it for you, but they receive not send
Yes, so they receive my come-hither voltage jolts. It worked on that snake, once. (Maybe that other dude, with the dog, but I’m not sure.)
Think about it.
Course correction
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is the latest organization to announce layoffs. The philanthropy, founded by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Dr. Priscilla Chan in 2015, said it plans to cut about 70 employees in Redwood City as part of a broader restructuring to prioritize AI-driven biomedical research, according to San Francisco Chronicle.
The layoffs are part of an ongoing transition to center CZI’s work on Biohub, a network of research institutes aimed at accelerating discoveries in biology and medicine, with a stated mission “to cure or prevent all disease,” according to Jane Packer, the initiative’s communications director, who confirmed the layoffs on Wednesday, San Francisco Chronicle reported.
Cure or prevent all disease seems do-able.
Somebody else will have to cure hunger for the overprivileged children of America’s finest families.
Thought: A world without disease would very quickly turn very dangerous. Human immune systems would become compromised from boredom and the next ‘newest’ thing (likely nothing new) would kill a lot of dumb humans who trust More Important Peoples’ say-so.
Ones would have to be invented to preserve those More Important People’s way of life. Plenty of experience does Fauci, the demonic Garden Gnome, have. So, well apace!
If you kill someone before some disease has a chance, is that a success?
I hope Sagittarius is right. I could use a good week right about now.
Re the transitioning lawsuits against doctors from the dead threads. It probably won’t take much to make anyone who did/does perform those surgeries to be uninsurable, and thus put out of practice. Seems a fitting end to a ghoulish practice. At least in the US.

In China, Europe and a growing number of emerging markets, including Vietnam and Indonesia, electric vehicles now make up a higher share of new passenger vehicle sales than in the United States.
That means the U.S. pullback on EV production is not simply a climate problem – gasoline-powered vehicles are a major contributor to climate change – it is also an industrial competitiveness problem, with direct implications for the future of U.S. automakers, suppliers and autoworkers. Slower EV production and slower adoption in the U.S. can keep prices higher, delay improvements in batteries and software, and increase the risk that the next generation of automotive value creation will happen elsewhere.
Clinging to filthy dependable outmoded technology will destroy us. We’re doomed to become a second rate country if we don’t copy the cool kids. There will be no market for gas guzzlers in another one or two hundred years, what with peak oil, and pocket fusion generators, and teleportation and the death of humanity as humans become too stupid to reproduce.
I wonder if the reporters understand they’re mostly talking about glorified golf carts?
They don’t care that they’re being dishonest. Propaganda is the point.
Also unaddressed: almost every single one of those cars is fully powered by coal, and that a huge chunk of its energy requirements occur well before the car is even built. How many carbon molecules are released while mining China and Africa for rare earth minerals?
electricity comes from the wall
Side-bys are the latest transportation mode here. Snow mobiles and ATVs are so last year.

Didn’t you read the intro? The man’s a total flinty eyed badass. He’s an apex predator. He’d just as soon kill a Nazi as look at one.
Yeah, I can only imagine what he looks like. He’s almost certainly ineffectual in everything.
Strength reversed – Despotism, abuse of power, weakness, discord, disgrace
not so sure about all of that, but ran into a big snag at work this morning. We have spent the last week changing out one of our furnace transformers. Finally got the replacement model in the vault this morning to find out that the new one is 29 inches shorter than the old one. I have 2 options –
1. jack the transformer up 29 inches and built a frame underneath it that will hold it up to the correct elevation.
2. buy 48 1/4″x10″x39″ pieces of copper to extent the buss work up to the delta closure tubes.
*checks price of copper and goes to get jacks*
EV manufacturing is governed by steep learning curves and scale economies, meaning the more vehicles a company builds, the better it gets at making them faster and cheaper. Low domestic production and sales can mean higher costs for parts and weaker bargaining power for automakers in global supply chains.
As we all know, input prices fall as demand increases. Especially when those inputs are scarce and require digging.
I think that everyone who wants an electric vehicle already has one, and most of them regret the decision. Every lot around here has several that they are trying and being unsuccessful at getting rid of.
You can get the new Charger EV for half price and they are having trouble moving them.
I think that everyone who wants an electric vehicle already has one, and most of them regret the decision.
We have a winner. No more calls, please, ladies and gentlemen.
First thing e do, let’s kill all the high school “guidance counselors”
“We are in trouble in our country. We are not talking about this enough,” Farley told host Monica Langley. “We have over a million openings in critical jobs, emergency services, trucking, factory workers, plumbers, electricians, and tradesmen. It’s a very serious thing.”
While President Donald Trump has centered his economic agenda on bringing manufacturing back to the U.S., there remains a gap between the number of factory jobs open and the number of people willing to fill them.
There were 394,000 manufacturing jobs open as of November, according to preliminary data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, despite a 4.4% unemployment rate, which is higher than in previous years. A 2024 study from the Manufacturing Institute and Deloitte also found more than half of the 200 manufacturing firms surveyed said recruiting and retaining workers was their top struggle.
Yet, Farley said blue-collar jobs, like those open at Ford, “made our country what it is,” and allowed people like his grandfather—who worked on the company’s flagship Model T and was employee 389 at the company—to have good lives.
Maybe I’m wrong, but five or more decades of educrats saying “everybody has to go to college” while shitting all over vocational training might not have been the optimal path.
Many decades ago the guidance counselor tried to steer me towards going to college. It wasn’t something that my family had any experience(s) with and I declined.
20 years later I matriculated, on the GI Bill, to impress upon my kids that I thought it was a stepping stone. As it turned out it may have allowed me to get my toe in the door but after that it was the work performance.
One kid went to college, one didn’t. Didn’t seem to make much difference.
My kids in same boat. The smarter one went to college, the other right to work. Guess which one makes more money 25 years later.
Nor paying millions of healthy adults to sit on their ass and get high instead of finding a job.
Im sure I’ve mentioned it before, but I couldn’t be happier that Tres V2.0 is pursuing welding.
Still, part of the problem for the shortage of manufacturing jobs is the lack of education and training, according to Farley. He noted, for example, learning to take a diesel engine out of a Ford Super Duty truck takes at least five years. The current system is not meeting the standard, he added.
That sounds like a self-inflicted wound.
“Once you’ve got the cab off it’s a cinch.”
The fuck? How can it take five years to take the engine out of a truck?
I’m not mechanically inclined, but even I think I could learn that in six months at the longest.
Ford probably won’t put a tech on that line without at least 5 years experience is what he’s trying to say, I think.
Yeah, I laugh when people call me to work on their diesels they buy as daily drivers and I just laugh and then they tell me about the 5 figure quote the dealer gave them. Yep, because they have the equipment needed to lift off the cab to get at it.

Man, I have to relearn the curve for grilling over coals. I haven’t had a charcoal grill in over 20 years, and because of that, all of my timing is out of whack. Took much longer than I remembered to get all of the coals lit and ready to cook. Didn’t give the coals enough time to get down to a better cooking temp before I put the meat on. Completely forgot that fat will drip and flare up causing unwanted charring on the outside. Got my timing for cooking sides all jacked up.
I mean, it was ribeye and picanha, and it wasn’t like it was so jacked as to be inedible (unless you’re a fuckhead 14 year old who thinks any amount of charring = completely ruined), but it wasn’t what I hoped my return to grilling would be.
Get one of these for starting your coals. https://www.amazon.com/Weber-7429-Rapid-Chimney-Starter/dp/B07B5BHKDZ?tag=ustxtaddt-20&th=1
Also, reverse sear FTW!
