Not by SP, but appropriate.
I was overwhelmed and touch by so many people taking time and expense to come to Alfred and pay tribute to my beloved wife. Of all the things in her life for which she deserved to be proud, she may have been proudest of this community. And it’s a justified pride.
I have been in a terrible mental place, and may not have been my best. But the kindness, generosity, and support you wonderful people have shown me have pulled me out of my emotional ditch and put me in a much better spirit, all things SP would have been even more proud about.
WebDom and I thank each and every one of you, with a depth that I am unable to express with mere words.
(edit: I guess we’ve passed the point where the meaning of “SP” is a secret. “Site Programmer.” Sorry it’s not ruder and lewder.)
