Saturday Morning Multiple Maniacs Links

by | Nov 23, 2024 | Daily Links | 225 comments

I suddenly find two NPR Ladies in the picture, and a conundrum it is. They are both intelligent, accomplished, and educated. NPR1 is a physician (pediatrics), incredibly kind and sweet, soft-spoken, and seems to be quite sane and grounded. NPR2 is actually a rerun, someone I was seeing for a bit and then was dumped. But she popped back up. Attorney, businesswoman, former president of a company you would all be familiar with. Very different personality, a firecracker. What to do, what to do… anyway, I’m going hiking today with NPR1 followed by dinner, and we’ll see how that ends up. I will avoid asking KK which one she recommends- WebDom and 10b0t both heavily favor NPR1, who sailed past their filter. They have not yet met NPR2, but are skeptical.

Of course, a week from now, I may be totally emptyhanded, so the conundrum may be very temporary. But in the meantime, it’s fun.

Know what else is fun? Birthdays, and today’s include one of Team Blue’s many racists; a guy with a mysterious attraction; a guy whom we can blame for talk radio; a guy who thought “Billy Pratt” was insufficiently horrifying; a guy second only to Curly for best comic actor; a guy who, if we dig deep enough, likely had a Hillary Clinton connection; a pitcher with an amusingly shaky windup; a guy who thought Black Lives Matter before it became a grift;  a corrupt, evil, and rather stupid Chicago politician (though that doesn’t narrow things down); a great argument for term limits and manssieres; the guy who taught me everything I know about Mexican food; one of the few Dead pianists who lived; a guy who took a country down the toilet at a speed that Biden and Carter would have envied; and a woman too crazy for even me to bang. And I should mention our own TOK.

And now off to Link.

“What’s British for ‘fuck you’?”

How about not having the government and courts involved at all?

High spirited yoots, that’s all.

“RFK JR hates children.”

The grifters have descended on the motherlode.

Impossible, they’re a legitimate news outlet!

“Get a horse!”

The Old Guy just loves crossover. And here’s another example of why.

Old Man With Candy

Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me. Wait, wrong book, I'll find something else.

What to do, what to do…

I’d always go for sane and grounded myself — but I’m definitively a dull, boring introvert at my core. I’m simply fortunate I met my wife who also prefers the quiet life…

So in short — I strongly suspect my advice is meaningless to you, probably shouldn’t have offered it anyway (but we’re here to chat… so chat I shall), and don’t know the totality of your circumstances in any event. So I simply wish you the best of luck for your own choices and that it works out for you.

Now on to B’days and the links….

    • Pat

NPR1 would be my choice, but like SDF-7, I am a bore. Caring profession, sweet, and soft-spoken rings my bells. Careerist alpha-female? Not my circus. But to each his own.

      • Drake

        Yes.

      • rhywun

I’m just impressed his love life reads like something out of my early college years.

      • Drake

In college years, I would be drawn to energetic lunatic like a moth to a flame – and burned just like it.

Now with the wisdom of many burns, #1 sounds like an easy choice.

    • Fourscore

Things always work out, regardless of our hopes, plans and desires.

  2. cavalier973

Harpo Marx was an interesting guy. There are a few videos where you can hear him talking.

      • LCDR_Fish

That’s hilarious. It’s wild how you could build a character like that back then and keep him in character your whole life (in public) – but have virtually nothing from off-stage.

I think Penn and Teller is the closest we’ve had – and that was more of a 90s thing. In the age of cellphones and social media – pretty much impossible.

      • mindyourbusiness

I had a (fevered) vision of a play where Groucho played Lenin and Harpo did Stalin. True Marxism!

  3. Chipping Pioneer

I believe the term is menage a trois

    • Sean

    • juris imprudent

As the third comment no less – well played!

    • SDF-7

I always found Gates McFadden’s Dr. Crusher more interesting, personally out of that crew….

      • Chipping Pioneer

Come, ladies … the holodeck is big enough for all three of us.

      • SDF-7

        Reginald Barclay, that you?

    • DEG

I should have read the comments before commenting.

  4. SDF-7

include one of Team Blue’s many racists

Never would have guessed him — too many to choose from and he didn’t leap to mind. Kind of funny that the epitome of touchy-feely ’70s lib Alan Alda evoked him though, isn’t it? Of course the book greatly differed from what I understand.

  5. Pat

a guy second only to Curly for best comic actor

    Happy birthday Bill Murray?

    • Pat

a guy who thought Black Lives Matter before it became a grift

      Happy birthday Lysander Spooner?

      • SDF-7

I was thinking Frederick Douglass…. ah well.

      • Pat

the guy who taught me everything I know about Mexican food

Happy birthday Glen William Bell Jr.?

      • SDF-7

Heh… same thought, Pat — though I didn’t know the name of the gentleman.

  6. SDF-7

a guy whom we can blame for talk radio

Damn… I was betting on Marconi. Too obvious, I guess.

      • DrOtto

        You’re stepping on Ted’s schtick.

      • Chafed

I’m 99% sure I know what’s behind that link. That’s some Ted’S level hate music.

  7. Pat

How about not having the government and courts involved at all?

To be fair, if not for the government and courts, there would be no such thing as collegiate women’s sports.

    • Ted S.

“Alleged to be transgender”? Technically, that’s right, but not in the way they mean.

  8. SDF-7

    “What’s British for ‘fuck you’?”

Well, Elon seems to be trying the tried and true…. It is a nice counter move to the summons on their end for him to “testify” after several folks there have agitated for his arrest, after all.

    • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

The Guardian sure went for the maniacal photo to go with it too.

    • Drake

This. He would have to be insane to show up in British Commie land without diplomatic immunity.

Although… If they did imprison him, I could get behind an invasion of the UK to liberate him and the English people.

Would be the easiest war in a while with far better chances of success than the what we’re sticking out dicks into in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

      • Stinky Wizzleteats

I don’t know Drake, what about the much vaunted English fleet?

      • Drake

With their aircraft carriers that can’t leave port because they will literally sink?

  9. Gender Traitor

NPR2 is actually a rerun, someone I was seeing for a bit and then was dumped.

::narrows gaze suspiciously:: So….why is she back?

And how much drama do you want in your life?

    • Old Man With Candy

I’m a sucker for her type. Our breakup was amicable, but I told her the door would be open if she changed her mind. She changed her mind.

That said, these are two quite terrific women. If I end up with either of them, it’s a win. Which means I’ll likely end up with neither of them.

      • Chafed

Sucker seems to be the operative word. If she ended things once, even amicably, it doesn’t bode well for the future.

      • creech

        Enjoy the ride.

      • Muzzled Woodchipper

With Chafed on this. The only thing you want bouncing back in a relationship is the bed.

  10. Ted S.

the guy who taught me everything I know about Mexican food

    Happy birthday, Mexican Sharpshooter!

  11. Pat

Over 85,000 Quebec students strike for Gaza, call for intifada and final solution

Just when you thought the Quebecois couldn’t get any more endearing.

    • juris imprudent

Just proving their French bona fides.

    • SDF-7

Well, we just suffered through Carter Years 2.0 — high time for Quebecois terrorists to be blowing some stuff up and reliving the ’70s, right?

      • DrOtto

You know, an Iranian hostage crisis would be a nice palate cleanser about now for this administration as well.

  12. SDF-7

    High spirited yoots, that’s all.

Yeah… when (lots of) people on your side think the Hitler salute is just peachy, start advocating for a Final Solution and wiping out a country… and start posting “We’re going to get you” type intimidation videos….. I lean heavily towards the “consider them a terrorist and/or insurrection force and act militarily”. I know, I know… I’m too damned knee-jerk “wipe them out” and it is nuanced, yadda yadda…. but seems pretty clear they’re at war with Israel first, Jews in general second and the West third… and I’d rather not let folks who feel perfectly fine saying such things a) Run around the West at will and b) build up their forces.

At the minimum, I would consider it allying with a foreign power and renouncing citizenship and deportation to Gaza where they can be happy would be in order.

Times like this it is almost certainly a good thing I have no power… I’d be the equivalent of the torch wielding mob just listening to my emotions. Or maybe I can vent them because I know there’s no consequence…. who can say.

Last note — choir, preaching, etc… but I’d be a lot less worried about such nuts if we didn’t have a stupidly open border for the last 4 years (and this applies to Canada as well, obviously) and if the Left hadn’t been coddling these idiots and letting them indoctrinate minions because “Tearing Down Western Civ for the Global Marxist Regime is all good!” or whatnot. Sigh.

    rant rant rant… I know.

    • Chafed

This is one reason I am eternally grateful for the Second Amendment. I will not go quietly.

    • rhywun

Fair enough – and also least surprising development of the millennium.

  14. juris imprudent

    I may be totally emptyhanded

Strange euphemism for your right hand being your best friend.

  15. Pat

The Old Guy just loves crossover. And here’s another example of why.

Pat the asshole would rather make sweet love to a cheese grater than hear a single note or syllable of Hey There Delilah in any form until he shuffles off this mortal coil. But he supports the Old Guy’s right to enjoy things.

    • Old Man With Candy

      Mexicans do it better.

      • SDF-7

Wait… Mexicans are better at making sweet love to a cheese grater?

The things you find out around these parts….

      • Ted S.

Make me feel sad for the rest….

      • Tundra

        Dammit, Ted’s

*grabs ice pick to kill earworm*

      • Old Man With Candy

This band does a cover of Never Gonna Give You Up. So Hell is even worse than you think.

  16. SDF-7

The grifters have descended on the motherlode.

Ugh… speaking of things I’d do if I actually had power… get us out of all these international bindings (UN, NATO, whatever shit group this is). Build nukes for baseload — solar/wind where it makes sense, but don’t give a bloody penny to slave labor factory China. Rest of the world, do your stupid crap if you want — we don’t owe the “poor third world” jack over shit for “transitioning to the green economy” because it is delusional crap anyway.

    rant rant rant

      ISOLATIONIST!!!

Fuck Wilson’s corpse with a chainsaw, and everyone alive still following the bastard’s crusade.

    • rhywun

If Trump tells the assholes pictured in the linked article to go fuck themselves, whatever happens in the next four years will all have been worth it.

      • Chafed

        100%.

    • Suthenboy

      “…solar/wind where it makes sense,…”

      Hear, hear.
*solar/wind require more energy input than you get out. alcohol the same. Ever notice that ethanol plants all have huge fuel oil tanks? Why cant they just run the plant on the alcohol they produce?

I think geothermal is the most under developed viable energy source. Hydrocarbons are well developed, nuclear needs more development. Geothermal has huge potential but no one seems very interested.

Where am I going to get my stock tips?

  18. Pat

In other birthdays, happy birthday TOK.

And since I’ve as well as doxxed myself here already anyway, I guess I can admit Kev is my DOB twin.

    • Pat

Well, not strictly true, I suppose. Different years.

      • SDF-7

Well Happy Birthday to the two of ya then. It is a good month for birthdays (my Dad’s was not long back… and I do happen to be a Sagittarius for those participating in that madness…)

Expect much more of this from Canada until the next election. There are many more Muslims and terrorist sympathizers in Canada than there are Jews, and the Trudeau government cynically plays diaspora politics to their electoral advantage.

If Trump Didn’t Send Musk to Talk with the Iranians…He Should!

One of the most encouraging and promising things President-elect Trump said in his post-election acceptance speech was, “I’m not going to start a war. I’m going to stop wars…” We all understand that campaign promises often have a short shelf life after the election is over, but the Trump campaign’s repeated talk of peace over war at least demonstrates that he finds it a winning point to make to American voters.
    _
Will that talk of peace turn into action in the second Trump presidency, especially with the hawks he has named to senior foreign policy positions in his incoming Administration? It is hard to say, but last week’s report that he sent Elon Musk to meet with the Iranian Ambassador to the UN would be a good sign if true. Iran has denied that any such meeting took place, and with rumors swirling of Trump talks with Putin and other world leaders it may just be a media creation.
    _
But even if it is not true that Trump sent Musk to meet with the Iranians it would be a good idea to do so. Why Musk? Because Musk is not expected to take on a formal role in the incoming Trump Administration he can be seen as an informal advisor and friend of the President-elect. Plus, as a businessman Elon Musk speaks a different language than government diplomats.

    • juris imprudent

For being a fascist and all, Trump sure is averse to bloodshed.

      • ZWAK, doktor of BRAIN SCIENCE!

Yeah, what is he gonna do for “Blood and Soil” now, go with Milk and Soil?

  22. rhywun

[RFK Jr.] also referred to transition-related surgery as “mutilation” and said such treatments should be postponed until adulthood.

    zOMG bigot! Hater!

Followed by a pack of debunked lies about “medically necessary” and “lifesaving”.

I literally can’t even with this shit anymore.

PS. Calling this stuff “LGBTQ+++++ health care” is a level of misdirection on par with calling abortion “women’s health care”.

    • DrOtto

I told my kids if you can’t call it what it is and have to resort to euphemisms for what you want to do, that’s a sign you’re being lied to.

      • Chafed

        How did they respond?

      • DrOtto

They just look at me like I’m an old kook.

      • Ted S.

        Well, they’re not wrong.

    • Chafed

      So much this.

    • Suthenboy

      ‘Lifesaving’
What they dont want to talk about is the suicide rate for post-mutilation victims.

  25. PutridMeat

How about not having the government and courts involved at all?

Agreed 100 percent. Let me know when the mandatory Title IX training goes away and stops being imposed by the government and courts. And when the Universities, including sports, are no longer being heavily subsidized with state funding, often times required by state constitutions.

Until then, you better be prepared to fight the battle on the field your opponents have chosen, at least in a defensive action while you continue to fight the principled battle on different fronts.

  26. juris imprudent

Must be one of them white hispanics

The incoming 2025 Arizona Legislature is choosing leadership and committee positions, and selected State Rep. Steve Montenegro (R-Goodyear) as speaker of the house on Tuesday. Thanks for the birthday shout out! I’m a bit grayer, a bit more achy, and a lot poorer thanks to opening a business during the Biden admin. But I have my health, my family, a new son in law, hockey, a new president, and the Glibs, so I like my chances this year.

    WoTC screws up D&D history

DnD creators, Gygax and others, are erased and slandered at the same time.

WoTC and Hasbro just released the new Players Handbook and Dungeon Master’s Guide, as well at the 40th Anniversary “Making of DnD” book whose foreward slams the original creators and attempts to distance themselves.

I spoke with one of the original creators, Rob Kuntz @threelinestudio , about the problem.

One of the main issues, cited Rob, the last surviving member of the OG crew, were the “DnD Historians” who write books and articles about the hobby and are left-leaning and continually slam the “problematic” creators and early books.

    • SDF-7

Really wish these assholes would stay away from “problematic” media and just make their own if it is so terrible (leaving the fans of the problematic content alone). But of course their neo-Puritanism would never allow that. Someone, somewhere somehow might be enjoying something they disapprove of… so they must inveigle their way in and destroy it.

      • Ted S.

Those icky white boys must not be allowed to have any positive white male role models, and must have their noses rubbed in it.

    • cavalier973

This year is the 50th anniversary of D&D.

The pdf of the original game is available at a low price.

A better option would be to go with a clone, such as Delving Deeper or Swords & Wizardry: White Box.

There is alsoWhite Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game, which is not an exact clone, but is pretty close.

Also, check out “The Gygax 75 Challenge”, for building a campaign world.

The ‘Biden’ decision to use long range missiles in Russia is one of those thing too malicious to be explained by incompetence.
I had hopes for Gaetz even though I didnt know much about him because he came right out and said our foreign endless wars are nothing more than money laundering operations. I am on the fence now, it is starting to look like Gaetz is involved in some sketchy stuff. I am worried about Bondi because of her support for red flag laws which I think are wildly unconstitutional and immoral.

As for Biden and Russia I think pushing us to WWIII is punishment for the country for electing Trump and in general policy preferences of the electorate. There is no line they wont cross, no lie they wont tell. If we are going to fire them they will create ashes and mountains of skulls.

    • Tundra

A war is a good way to make sure they are never held accountable. The sheer scope of the evil that has come to light is quite imppressive.

      Demons.

      • Suthenboy

Yep. It is a two birds with one stone move. They will have Trump tangled up worse than he was with the cootie bug scam.

      • Evan from Evansville

Ricky’d be upset, Suthen. Usually it’s to get two birds stoned at once, but I’m with ya.

Team Blue took a resoundingly vile shit on The Resolute Desk to purposefully fuck w Trump Term 2.0. I did foresee if Trump won, DCd do all it could to ensure a disaster. I am worried I’m correct. They’d rather burn it all than let another wield any of it.

pushing us to WWIII is punishment

And I am convinced that pointless distractions like the tranny stuff that is sucking all the air out of the room are deliberate distractions from that. A tactic straight out of some playbook or other.

      • Mojeaux

I’m becoming convinced the trans stuff will get us to Civil War II faster than anything else.

Letting the gender dysphorics autogynephiles and minor-attracted persons pedophiles child molesters take over the movement was a strategic blunder of massive proportions.

    • R C Dean

“it is starting to look like Gaetz is involved in some sketchy stuff”

I haven’t seen any evidence of that, but I could be missing something.

Bondi makes me nervous for some reason. She just gives off a vibe of “will join swamp” or something. Red flag laws, piled onto George Zimmerman, I dunno.

  39. Evan from Evansville

I continue to piss free and clear. From reading about fevers/chills highlighting the affair, I possibly went thru the worst spell 18hr ago.

This has been remarkably lackluster. I still feel unwell, but a sort of generic blah. Some undercarriage developments underway, so I await profound proceedings, tho with formerly bloody (detected) w smell urine remains clear and easy.

So far? Good on ya, Body.

Followed by a pack of debunked lies about “medically necessary” and “lifesaving”.

Can’t we just go back to “pray the gay away”. As far as I can tell this quiltbag “gender affirmation” mania boils down to an especially pernicious species of homophobia. And, of course, Munchausen by proxy.

    • rhywun

From what I hear is going on in schools today, any kids displaying signs of the gay are immediately fed the “born in the wrong body” spiel.

Yes, it’s “homophobia”. Better to be a pantomime heterosexual than a homosexual.

    • Mojeaux

I saw a video from “save the tomboys” last night and it’s heartbreaking what these girls are being told. “If you’re a girl and not dressing up like Elsa or Snow White, you were born in the wrong body.”

This whole movement LOATHES women and especially women who step out of cliché gender norms.

      • R C Dean

In the name of gender nonconformity, it wants people to slavishly conform to cliche gender norms.

It’s just all kinds of fucked up.

These fucking people… (from Sensei’s link)

The U.S. economy recovered from the pandemic with greater strength than any of its peers. Unemployment stayed below 4 percent for the longest stretch since the 1960s, and remains low. A widely predicted, long-feared recession never materialized. And data show there is continuing a boomlet in manufacturing construction and business productivity.

And we are expected to blithely assume the “pandemic slump” was some sort of inescapable organic economic phenomenon and not the result of specific intentional government policy. Further, we are to pretend nobody remembers who was in charge, and even if we did remember, they were doing their best and cannot be held accountable. All’s well that ends well.

In Pennsylvania, Lillie, a U.S. citizen who did not want to use her last name out of concern for her family’s safety, has been married to her undocumented husband from Honduras for 10 years. Last week, she took her U.S.-born children to get their passports and plans to get a power of attorney drawn up in the event her husband gets deported, she said.

“If something happens and my husband is detained or he’s deported, it would be very difficult for me to get passports for my children, for our children, to be able to leave the country to go see him,” she said.

Her husband was detained back in 2017, during the last Trump administration, for about two months. The experience has affected him “mentally and emotionally,” she said.

“He’s made it clear that if it were to happen again, it would not be ‘Let’s stay and fight,’” Lillie said. “It would be ‘Let’s just go,’ because he does not want to stay in detention again.”

    Okay.

I guess I’m supposed to view this as some sort of grotesque tragedy.

    • Evan from Evansville

Mom uses these anecdotes. One about a person (she says) she knows. Always these things. I’ve heard no whisper of folk who are legally being detained. If one is, why NOT use your name?! Tons of legal folk would jump to your aid. Story sells! Has legs!

Oh. That’s why no names are used. If it is happening, I would actually like to know more. Huh.

      Blame a democrat.

We wouldn’t be here if they weren’t importing third world countries wholesale and giving away our tax dollars and border security.

Certainly Honduras would welcome the whole family, and even with modest assets here disposed of, a comfortable life could be had.

    • R C Dean

Assuming her kids were born here (and maybe just because their mother is a citizen; don’t know for sure), her kids are citizens and will have approximately zero problems getting a passport.

I note that if her illegal alien husband is deported, she has no plans to move to Honduras to keep the family together.

  48. Grummun

I need to fabricate some wiring to connect two temp/humidity sensors to a Raspberry Pi. It will need to be fairly long, as I will be monitoring temp in two chest freezers that are 15′ or so apart and the Pi will be situated somewhere in between. I have what I hope to be adequate wire, some 18ga four conductor (the sensors only require three conductors). What I need are the little black square single-wire connectors that come pre-installed on breadboard jumper wire kits. I don’t even know what to call them to search for them. Any help?

    • Pat

Sounds like you’re wanting “DuPont” 2.54 mm pitch connectors, as they’re colloquially called. You can buy the connectors and pins individually at Digi Key or Mouser, but this kit would probably be cheaper overall due to shipping costs.

    • Common Tater

For 18 AWG you would want MTA-156 connectors.

      • Grummun

Thank you both. Pat has the right part, I don’t think I can make the MTA-156 connectors work with the Pi headers. But 18ga is to pudgy for the 2.54mm connectors. Looks like I’m buying some 22ga wire.

  49. The Late P Brooks

Advocacy groups are also bracing for state-level changes to immigration enforcement that could result in deportations. Organizers for Coalición de Derechos Humanos in Tucson say they are bracing for the impact of Proposition 314, a hard-line state immigration and border enforcement law that Arizona voters passed in November.

The measure makes it a state crime to enter Arizona between a port of entry illegally and allows local law enforcement to arrest noncitizens and state judges to order deportations. It also adds state penalties to acts like selling fentanyl that lead to the death of another person and presenting false information to an employer or a public benefits program.

    ——-

Scenes of asylum-seeker encampments in nonborder cities as well as high-profile crimes committed by immigrants contributed to immigration becoming a key issue in this year’s election in states like Arizona that helped Trump return to the White House.

A totally irrational response to an imaginary problem.

Unless the Wizard turns out to be the CEO of a megacorp which produces pollution as its principle function.

On Nov. 5, Dallas voters approved more than a dozen propositions on the ballot to amend the city charter. One was Proposition R, which prohibits Dallas Police officers from making marijuana-related arrests under certain conditions; prohibits them from issuing citations for marijuana possession or considering marijuana odor as probable cause for search or seizure; mandates that marijuana-related arrests be the “lowest enforcement priority;” and prohibits city funds or personnel from being used to test for cannabis-related substances.”

    Escalation

NATO and Ukraine will hold emergency talks Tuesday after Russia attacked a central city with an experimental, hypersonic ballistic missile that escalated the nearly 33-month-old war.

The conflict is “entering a decisive phase,” Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk said Friday, and “taking on very dramatic dimensions.”

Ukraine’s parliament canceled a session as security was tightened following Thursday’s Russian strike on a military facility in the city of Dnipro.

In a stark warning to the West, President Vladimir Putin said in a nationally televised speech that the attack with the intermediate-range Oreshnik missile was in retaliation for Kyiv’s use of U.S. and British longer-range missiles capable of striking deeper into Russian territory.

    ——-

utin said that while it isn’t an intercontinental missile, it’s so powerful that the use of several of them fitted with conventional warheads in one attack could be as devastating as a strike with strategic — or nuclear — weapons.

Gen. Sergei Karakayev, head of Russia’s Strategic Missile Forces, said the Oreshnik could reach targets across Europe and be fitted with nuclear or conventional warheads, echoing Putin’s claim that even with conventional warheads, “the massive use of the weapon would be comparable in effect to the use of nuclear weapons.”

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov kept up Russia’s bellicose tone on Friday, blaming “the reckless decisions and actions of Western countries” in supplying weapons to Ukraine to strike Russia.

    Those fucking crazy bellicose Russians.

    • juris imprudent

So Russia wasn’t supposed to retaliate? Has Z-man ever studied war, even just a little?

Is Ukraine not supposed to fight back?

  55. The Late P Brooks

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, widely seen as having the warmest relations with the Kremlin in the European Union, echoed Moscow’s talking points, suggesting the use of U.S.-supplied weapons in Ukraine likely requires direct American involvement.

“These are rockets that are fired and then guided to a target via an electronic system, which requires the world’s most advanced technology and satellite communications capability,” Orbán said on state radio. “There is a strong assumption … that these missiles cannot be guided without the assistance of American personnel.”

Those guys in that trailer with all the weird antennae are just military advisors. They’re strictly on a training and support mission.

“A California judge has permanently stripped Texas father Jeffrey Younger of all parental rights to his twin sons, James and Jude, granting Younger’s ex-wife, Anne Georgulas, the authority to chemically and surgically transition their 12-year-old son, James, against his father’s wishes.

Younger, whose ex-wife, a pediatrician, began transitioning their son to a girl at just two and a half years old, has fought tooth and nail to protect his child. Despite video evidence supporting his concerns, courts in Texas and California have systematically stripped him of his parental rights.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a video of James Younger when he was only 3 years old surfaced, revealing that his mother put dresses on him and painted his fingernails when the child was just an infant!

The abuse from the mother all started because James liked a toy from the movie ‘Frozen’ meant for little girls. It is totally normal for little boys to play with girls’ toys; it does not mean they want to be castrated and ‘transition’ into girls.”

Thursday’s attack struck the Pivdenmash plant that built ICBMs when Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union. The military facility is located about 4 miles (6 1/2 kilometers) southwest of the center of Dnipro, a city of about 1 million that is Ukraine’s fourth-largest and a key hub for military supplies and humanitarian aid, and is home to one of the country’s largest hospitals for treating wounded soldiers from the front before their transfer to Kyiv or abroad.

The stricken area was cordoned off and out of public view. With no fatalities reported from the attack, Dnipro residents resorted to dark humor on social media, mostly focused on the missile’s name, Oreshnik.

Sounds like that was a demonstration, for educational purposes.

Why would Musk buy MSNBC? With Twitter, there was something of value at the core.

    • Mojeaux

With Twitter, he felt he was saving free speech for the world, and he did. It was the greatest act of charity I have ever seen.

MSNBC (if he went through with it) would likely be just for funsies, but I doubt he’s serious. It’s just a repeat of how he ended up buying Twitter.
