Oooh. Grin Reaper’s good. And the hyena, and dinosaur comes in third. Satan’s being cheerful and the beer is truthful life advice.
    (Until it isn’t.)

Imagine you called the cops for your car being stolen on campus and you find out rather then show up they decided to arrest this little fruit loop instead for being an annoying little prick and never bothered to show-up.

My favorite is his mugshot. Just… wow. Without the wig, which apparently wasn’t removed with ease, and such a pathetic face. Longish, ratty and congealed hair. Big boy balding, but the hairs that remain on top must be as long as they’ll grow.

Zero Tolerance at school is where I point one of my fingers. Ya used to get beat up for being that outlandishly wrong, especially being loud about it, and ya learned at a very low-risk age to not fuck around in society like that.

You’re not special and you never will be. Very fucking few people *are* special. You’re not one of them. The younger you deal with that, especially if you’re actually good at something, but have to slowly realize even you ain’t *that* great, ya kinda learn about life.
That fat boy has not done this. (And he assuredly was hand-held down this path.)

I hadn’t actually watched it yet, the numerous times this was brought up.

Wow. That’s some serious mental illness and I’m not talking about the delusion of thinking he is “female”.

      • Brochettaward

Yea there’s layers of dumbfuckery and crazy there. It’s the classic “never been told no” type of man child.

The cop isn’t exactly without blame for shit escalating and probably did do it for shits and giggles. Like why even engage with the nutty little shit if you have a more pressing call to take? And it’s pretty pathetic it took two cops that long to restrain that thing. Even if you factor in that they restrained themselves because it’s college campus police here, it’s like…dude get your shit together.

Yes, my initial reaction that “I hate everybody” stands.

      • Threedoor

I like the glibs and a handful of other people.

At least I like the avatars and words presented

      • rhywun

Meant to add “in this story”.

I don’t hate everybody in life – not even close.

  2. DEG

    I like “Man’s Best Friend”.

  3. The Hyperbole

The first two, if you really reach for it can have a bit of humor in them, but the last three? Who-boy. They’re pretty much the “Hang in there cat” poster. If this is AI humor I, as a very infrequent contributor to the genre, have very little to worry about.

    • Derpetologist

I mean, the words are 100% me. I just told the AI what to draw.

I think one of the more underrated shitty aspects about Islam is the way it’s adherents butchered so many monuments and structures built before them. Like in the Dark Ages Italians did do some crappy shit to Roman structures, but Islam very often systemically destroyed history from India to Spain.

The pyramids survived thousands of years untouched by other cultures. They’re obviously still there, but were desecrated and had material removed. They ended up lost to time because of them and had to be “rediscovered.” Like fuck those goat/boy fucking mongoloids.

    • Threedoor

      It is destruction writ large.

    • rhywun

      systemically destroyed history

Another trait they share with commies.

Some Egyptian Salafis want to demolish the Pyramids and the Sphinx.

      https://thejerusalemconnection.us/brotherhood-the-sphinx-and-pyramids-must-be-destroyed/

I got in trouble in an Army Arabic class for pointing out that the reason ISIS demolished ancient statues is because that’s what Mohamed and his followers did when they conquered Mecca.

      ***
Muhammad did not rest for long and, accompanied by the Ansar and Muhajirun, made his way towards the Kaaba which is seen as a symbol of the Oneness of Allah. It was filled with idols, numbering 360.[6][20] He proceeded to knock them down using his bow while reciting the verse from the Qur’an:

“And say: ‘The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished away; surely falsehood is ever certain to vanish.” (Qur’an 17:81)[6][21]

This act was significant as it symbolized the removal of polytheistic practices and the reclaiming of the Kaaba for the worship of Allah alone, in line with the teachings of Islam. This event is considered a major milestone in the establishment of the Islamic faith and the spread of monotheism.

Muhammad began the usual circumambulation on his ride, and after completing the circumambulation, he called for ‘Uthman ibn Talha, the key holder of the Kaaba, and took the key from him. He entered the Kaaba and observed images of the prophets Abraham and Ishmael, throwing divination arrows. He strongly denounced these practices of the Quraysh and ordered that all idols, images and effigies be destroyed.

demolish the Pyramids and the Sphinx

Wonder if there is any “popular” support for that.

      • Brochettaward

I’ve never known quite what to make of Jesus as a historical figure. He was and wasn’t political. He wasn’t looking to overthrow Rome or conquer or become a head of state. Same with most other major religious figures.

Muhammad seems fairly evil in a number of ways. Like he purposely and deliberately created a religious political order that was strongly influenced by other faiths which he picked aspects of. He comes across as a pure charlatan on a quest for power.

    • Pine_Tree

And the European locals dismantling Roman stuff wasn’t the same kind of “destruction for the sake of destruction” that Islam (and Communism, and American proggies) are notorious for. It was more a combo of neglect/ruin from the collapse of the Empire’s structures, paired up with the locals noticing that all those ruins sure had a whole lot of nice, already-cut stone just waiting for disassembly and adaptive reuse.

      • Threedoor

Combined with massive depopulation you’re simply not going to need to or be able to maintain the extra structures.

  5. Evan from Evansville

Yo, Derp, I messaged you on the Book of Faces. Got a chance?

  6. Evan from Evansville

I have got myself all worked up now, over work. I pretty much have a week to learn it, per our talk. And much more is gonna be thrown at me, they promised. AI just helped me understand things better than my trainer did. I *do* feel better that I did. But hrm.

Tomorrow’s a very important day. Well. I believe Thinking Pills will be multiplied. (Which I shoulda been doing for this entire month.)

    • Shpip

Quit overthinking, shut up, and do what you’re told, one task at a time.

If you fuck it up the first time, ask for guidance, and don’t make the same mistake twice.

  7. Grumbletarian

14 wins in a row for the Red Sox. Crazy for a team that has been lukewarm shit all season up until about two weeks ago. They have a chance to tie the franchise record tomorrow.

    • rhywun

Watched some Mets tonight – another crushing loss. I can’t remember the last time I saw a win.

      • creech

You need to watch whenever they play the Phillies in Philly.

      • rhywun

I think there was just a series there? Missed it.

    • Evan from Evansville

Cubs’ game has been, and is, wild.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

The spiral they often engage in is something else. There’s a lot to be said for not coddling serious mental illness until it reaches the tipping point just because there are hurt feelings involved.

  8. Brochettaward

Just to point out how stupid Mamdani’s bluster on arresting Netanyahu is…America is not part of the ICC. We have never ratified the treaty or signed onto it. We did so explicitly so we could argue it doesn’t apply to us.

It’s insanity to even pretend he has the authority as a fucking mayor. Mayor Mamdani doesn’t have the authority to order the arrest of any individual let alone a foreign head of state under an international treaty with no application to the US.

    • rhywun

I’m sure he is “clever” enough to know that and is just throwing red meat to his septum-ring base.

In the latest local grift news: Ulster lawmakers OK $100K for Victory Garden program amid concerns

KINGSTON, N.Y. — County lawmakers agreed to take $100,000 from the county’s contingency for a “Victory Garden Preservation Program” intended to bolster local food access, community resilience, and intergenerational knowledge-sharing through the planting of fruit and other trees and shrubs at community centers throughout the county.

    […]

Legislator Chris Hewitt, who proposed the pilot program, said he was surprised by the “pushback” and “resistance” he received to the proposal.

“When I first introduced this, I thought it would be a feel-good resolution to make us all happy about planting trees,” he said. “I really thought it would be something Democrats would rally behind and really love.”

    […]

As envisioned by Hewitt, D-Rochester, either the county or a third-party organization would work with four local municipalities to plant and cultivate fruit and nut trees and shrubs at community centers that have a commercial kitchen, develop educational programming that would focus on preserving those foods and work with the organizations or individuals to teach canning and other food preservation skills.

    • Stinky Wizzleteats

I guess the tax cattle are balking at funding that guy’s cousin’s (friend’s, brother in law’s, whatever) nursery.

      • Ted S.

Or the “community kitchen” workers have a relationship with the legislator and are using him to funnel graft their way.

Why do you hate starving children?

      • UnCivilServant

Because most of them are unemployed and are not trying to get a job.

Good morning, Sean, Stinky, and Ted’S.!

      • Gender Traitor

Well… so far, as far as I can tell. Good morning, U. How are you today?

      • Ted S.

        Just because you’re not a morning person doesn’t mean it’s not a good morning.😛

I like Tuesdays because there’s usually hardly any mail at the office. (Except after Monday holidays, of course.)

      • UnCivilServant

Sometimes I try to think of ways to get mail to arrive at your office on tuesday, but then I realize A: I don’t know the mailing address, and B: postage is expensive.

      • Gender Traitor

A new hire recently mailed out a bunch of loan denial notices stuffed into window envelopes without the mailing address showing.

We’re still getting a lot of returned mail. 🙄

      • UnCivilServant

        🤦‍♂️

        They didn’t check?

      • Gender Traitor

Apparently not. Either that or it showed when they put it in but they folded it narrow enough that the address slid down below the window when the paper shifted in the envelope. Who knew that might happen as the letter passed through the postal system?

The chart in the attached article is a perfect example of exponential growth.

Reddit is a popular forum for swapping tips on how to boost disability ratings. “I’m at 90% now, which is phenomenal. And I am truly blessed for it, but I can’t stop thinking of getting to 100%,” one wrote on Reddit. “Any not well known perks or anything once you get 100%?”

      Of course he did.
