How are you going to prove – beyond any reasonable doubt, and in court – when the system already lacks any sort of serious ability to audit, but then was also completely broken down to make it absolutely impossible to do any real auditing, during the 2020 election? I remind you that the people that claimed there was no fraud never, ever looked for it. They did some ritual recounts of the votes, and claimed all was well cause the numbers were still close enough. And then they took it a step further and turned the law and the cancelation apparatus on anyone that dared to question anything. And that later thing, is what tells me for sure they had something to hide, and what they hid was so bad it would deligitimize any future election without changes to deny the cheating.
The problem I have is that there are plenty of republicans that are compromised or are for the idea of letting the deep state pick who the stupid people can think they can elect to do the will of the deep state.

It’s easy to prove what Rat on a Train asked for. You don’t need a full blown audit. You look to see who voted. Even places like Pennsylvania keep track of who voted.
How are you gonna get that? We asked for just that after the obvious cheating in 2020, and what we got was a J6 racket followed by anyone asking for that being canceled, if they were lucky, or prosecuted by the law and bankrupted or locked up. The key here is that there is a while bunch of people that profit from the cheating that will not be convinced otherwise. are we going to then crush them no matter how bloody it has to get to fix this? And have no doubt it will take bloodshed to stop the cheating. The right treats power like a wine snob, but the left treats power like an alcoholic treats booze.

Georgia had a required signature audit. The governor acknowledged as much and promised to undertake the audit. It never happened. (Any signature audit of mail ballots would likely toss a good 10% or more. Almost any election could be overturned with a rigorous enough signature audit)
Pennsylvania courts blocked pre-election challenges to illegal changes to the system for lack of standing, and then declared all post election challenges moot. It was blatant, in-your-face corruption.

Gonna disagree. I understood the whole positivity shit was about stopping people from shaming lazy fucks. My commutes both ways were in the dark in the wintertime when I lived in Madison. That’s just a fact of life in that part of the world – the days are really short.
It’s not a fact of life further south, and when people got a look at trading light at the start of their day for light at the end of their day, they didn’t like it. I remember permanent DST in Texas in the 70s and yeah, it made a real difference – what made an impression wasn’t the later sunset in the wintertime, it was the later sunrise.
That’s just the most recent attempt, though. It was tried before, and never stuck.

It’s really good. Pacing is fantastic for a 3 hour film. You move back and forth through time in an effortless manner. The “woke” casting is irrelevant because you become so consumed by the story. I mean, it’s fiction and there’s a giant cyclops with a vertical eye who lives in a cave and keeps sheep, so does ‘reality’ really matter? Matt Damon’s not even Greek.
The use of modern English actually works well because it gives the performances a more natural feeling and doesn’t slow down the storytelling with ornamentation.
Nolan’s use of more practical effects is essential to the visceral feeling of the fighting scenes and the overall adventure. The music and sound design are top-notch. Goranson will win his 2nd Oscar most likely.
Performances are all good with Robert Pattinson as the stand out.
I have a few quibbles but nothing major. It’s going to win a lot of awards.
Elliot Page is well-cast once you understand the character. (Not Achilles)

I have seen a lot of talk about practical effects and how important it is to the immersion of a movie lately – even if it doesnt look as cool as the CGI volume lighting stage stuff they can do now.
It is like they forgot how to do real cinematography and lighting once they got infinite control with the computer.
Honestly, I just don’t like Christopher Nolan.
He’s an amazing director and choreographer, but sometime around about Batman Begins he seemed to forget how to tell a compelling story. All his movies since that time, have come across to me as a collection of loosely connected vignettes, as opposed to a continuous narrative.

On that topic – every news outlet, pundit and politician told me repeatedly in the lead up over the last couple of days that he was going to make unsubstantiated claims with zero evidence. This was a known fact.
Doing this just proves that they truly believe that there is something that needs hiding, even if they dont know what it is.
So the whole thing is a farce that simple demonstrates that Orwell and his cohort had no idea how bad it could get.

They report that it is bad even in the car. Going outside is not really optional. I surely would have dropped dead. Which might not bother anyone, but would be out-of-network and would absolutely bankrupt us.
