The first CFP rankings are out and there are some real head-scratchers on there. But I suppose it’ll all sort itself out with a bunch of head to head matchups of highly ranked teams coming up. And the first team out has their fate in their own hands and shouldn’t have put themselves in this situation to begin with, so they have nobody to blame but themselves. The Canadiens blew a four goal lead and the frogs are not happy. And across the pond, ManUre managed a huge come from behind win in the UCL, which will probably result in their coach keeping his job for a little while longer as they look at a bunch of names ahead of them in the domestic table. Right, moving on…
It’s a bloodbath. There’s no other way to put it.
Maybe they ought to leave her a length of rope. They’d be doing the world a favor.
Why am I just finding out about this now? Gotta map out the nearest McD’s/Popeyes locations and pair this with a McRib.
Oh, no! Whatever will they do? I fear these kids will lose access to all those bot-boosted results and endless paid-for content.
Wait, they were surprised? This was as predictable as a sunrise in the east.
That’ll teach him! Oh, wait. He has no job. Guess they’ll have to release someone from prison to make room for him.
Feed him! Before he gets hangry. You wouldn’t like him when he’s hangry.
Nope! Nope nope nope. I want nothing to do with this or what it will undoubtedly lead to.
Some stereotypes exist for a reason. And they’ll remain undefeated for the foreseeable future.
And I’ll finish with what appears to be a silver lining. When even the most retarded people aren’t willing to go full retard, there’s hope.
Actually, I’ll finish with some music. And some really good music at that. At least that’s my opinion. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Wednesday, dear friends.

Disappointing, but not entirely surprising voting results.
My biggest disappointment is losing our local rep Mackenzie.
KY did its job but where I am being so close to Cincinnati, that will eventually spill over as more people sell of their farm land and we flood the area to be Cincinnati South.
For the first month of the Iran war I woke up every morning about 3 am with the sense of impending doom, not for the war per se, but from the political fallout. And here we are.
That really was a politically stupid move.
That IS surprising. Perhaps the voters are not as swayed by the warming comfort of the collective as, well, every other vote indicated.
We won’t know for another couple of weeks.
Late ballot dump incoming!
Yeah, wait until Cali is done
countingmanufacturing ballots over next several weeks before we call it.🎶 Classics 🎶
I had to finish on a positive note.

RIP Texas.
More proof that leftists can’t make the connection between the policies they vote for ad the consequences of those policies.

He should be laughed off the stage for being so totally wrong, but our government class acts as though these are serious people.
He’s both evil and stupid but he is so extremely both of those things that it’s hard to say which characteristic is dominant.

also, i am guessing data centers and Iran war are the things that swung it.
that and the skyrocketing Jew hate
You mean announcing at the last minute we aren’t giving Israel $4bn (that we will still actually give them for reasons) wasn’t going to sway the election?
Data centers. Of which there are thousands already, and which have been around for decades. But allofasudden they are portals to hell or something.
Propaganda works. Like with gas prices and affordability. I guess the old saying that nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people is still true.
Yeah, look at all the propaganda about the alleged good things immigrants bring and how we’ll need them anyway with the demographic changes of aging.
No serious discussion of what we won’t be able to do without those data centers, despite stories about AI driving advances in, for example, medicine.
Data centers. Of which there are thousands already, and which have been around for decades. But allofasudden they are portals to hell or something.
The real issues are size, scale, location, and the sneaky tactics being used.
Regarding the first two, traditional data centers merely sip on resources compared to the new big AI ones. It’s a huge change in resource management, and it’s not being treated as such because the local governments are just being bought out.
The location has shifted, too. Instead of the exurbs of major cities, they’re starting to put these things in legit rural areas, where nobody uses the product and where resource costs are tightly managed already.
Finally, I had a client in my company come to me with a news article and ask whether we should get away from doing NDAs. The article was describing how the AI companies go into a town, force the local governments to sign NDAs, and then do the planning and rezoning under that NDA so that the locals have no idea a datacenter is coming until they break ground. Evidently this is a common practice and now there’s some pushback because it “stokes negative community sentiments.”
force the local governments to sign NDAs
How, exactly, do they force local governments to do so?
How, exactly, do they force local governments to do so?
Money, you’ll get all this money, but first we need to you to sign this…
Not sure how the works with state open records laws, but we have attorneys paid for with town dollars to figure that out so no biggie.
How, exactly, do they force local governments to do so?
Force is a strong word, but they hang a huge jobs and revenue creating project over their heads and say they’ll move on to the next county if the people don’t sign the NDA.
Frankly, I don’t think it should be legal for the local government officials to sign NDAs in their official capacity.
I’m gonna blow my brains out from listening to some of these freaks like Abdul and Talarico flapping their gums non-stop.
The people have spoken, the morons. Now we’re all going to get it, good and hard.

*peeks head into chat*
Pssst. America is retarded.
*dips back out*
Yes. Yes it is.
The American public in general is stupid and has a very short memory.
Trump’s story arc over the last 2 years is really something. He built a coalition, won the electoral and popular vote, along with the Senate and House. He had it all.
Then he spent the last year and a half systematicly destroying that coalition. After surrounding himself with a horrible Cabinet, he ran off anyone who tried to warn him. Broke just about every promise made – doing the opposite in some cases, particularly the wars. He even insulted and mocked his former supporters.
This is a case study on how to lose political power.
Its hard to remember how optimistic I was at the beginning of his term, especially with DOGE.
I still say its mainly the Repub Congress that is partially-to-largely responsible for this by not giving the Repub base a reason to vote for them. The gullibility of the public is a given, of course, but the tenacity of the DemOp Media in pounding their propaganda home on how bad the economy is (its not), how inflation is out of control (its not) and nobody can afford nuthin’ (they can) paid off.
Trump’s biggest weakness as a retail politician is his addiction to the endorphin/ego rush of big rallies. They don’t move a single vote, but he gets to be a star.
I think the really bad news is downballot – with the Dems taking control of so many formerly Repub states, they have the election machinery, and that means the likelihood of a Dem President next time around just shot through the roof. And that’s where the power really is.
For the presidency bid, I see them pushing massive amounts of bills in front of Trump so he can veto them.
Then the media can run on how Trump is in the way of progress for two years.
DOGE was killed by Bessant.
For some reason that’s never been explained, Trump nominated George Soros’ personal accountant to be the Secretary of Treasury.
in the way of progress for two years. – that is in 9/10 cases a good thing.
DOGE was only authorized for 120 days, because you can’t wish new FedGov departments into existence — THANK GOD.
In that 120 days, it killed off USAID.
DOGE is the most successful anti-Leviathan program that has ever existed in the history of the US. But no, it didn’t give you a pony.
Meh.
1. Trump rode an economic wave that he was responsible for to both victory and defeat. His COVID money dumps guaranteed inflation under Biden, and the refusal to turn off the money printers ensured it would continue.
2. Americans HATE losing wars.
Well he and the Reps deserved to lose but the Dems didn’t deserve to win but in a two party system that’s what you get. Maybe they won’t be such hubristic shitbags the next time they’re in power if there is a next time.
Don’t take it too badly though, if the Dems can be counted on for anything it’s overreaching and turning the American people off once again.
Looks like Florida Man is the last sane person in the country.
Let’s see how I did.
I’ll predict that the Democrats win the US House.
Got this. But this was like predicting the Sun would rise in the East.
I’m not sure about the US Senate.
Dems got the Senate.
When the Democrats win, the usual suspects will claim the Democrats cheated instead of blaming Trump for handing the election to Democrats.
So far, I’m wrong on this. I saw some of the overnight comments blaming Trump.
NH specific predictions: Kelly Ayotte will win reelection. NH’s US reps will stay Democrat.
All correct. But also easy.
John Sununu might pull off a win for the US Senate but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Chris Pappas win.
Sununu lost.
Republicans will continue to control the Executive Council.
Results are still coming in according to WMUR’s website, but this looks like I got it wrong.
Republicans will lose seats in both chambers in the legislature but will continue to control the legislature.
Results are still coming in according to WMUR’s website, but I was really wrong. This is a bloodbath even on the state level. Democrats might have a supermajority in the state House. It’s unclear to me looking at the results that have come in if Democrats have a simple or super majority in the state Senate.
The property tax cap will do well. The cap is on the ballot across the state but only takes effect at a school district level if the school district has a supermajority (60%) vote in favor of the cap. I think it will receive between 50% and 60% vote in most districts in the state with only a handful breaking the 60% mark.
Results are still coming in according to WMUR’s website. They are giving town by town results. For a school district that spans multiple towns, the cap only takes effect if the cap has a 60% vote across the school district. WMUR isn’t reporting that roll-up information at this time. But, on the town by town basis for those towns that have results on WMUR’s website, the overwhelming majority of those towns said yes at 50%+, and surprisingly many Democrat towns did so. More towns than I expected voted 60%+.
My town is easy as the school district is not shared with other towns and my town voted 60%+ yes on the cap, so my property taxes are capped unless an override passes at 60%+.
WIthout even looking, I’m quite sure not a single office changed hands here in NM.
Hopefully the dems pack the court and take your guns away so you stop looking down on gunless Europeans.
Nope! Nope nope nope.
Maybe there is a Heidi Klum inside
Surely Trump learned from this historic rejection and will adjust?

On brand.
Its really a repeat of Obama, Clinton, Reagan, etc mid-terms at the Federal level.
Down ballot….im not so sure.
He just cancelled deportation flights, so yes?
The idea that Orange Man has ever been other than a late 20th C. NYC democrat is baffling in its persistence.
I don’t really wanna experience the glut of smug bullshit from the Left. Trump et al ‘deserved’ to lose, but the ‘winners’ are far worse, IMO, particularly what they represent for the direction and ‘mood’ of the country.
Well. Onward. Me thinky it won’t be fun, but how frequently is it?
It’s funny they think this was about them, not Republican failures.
They’ll spent the next 2 years reminding everyone why we hate them.
“I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

As per usual, Bad Kitty has some trenchant remarks.
Yep – what I said but better, and without capitalization.

The Crisis In Poland
https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2026/11/the-crisis-in-poland/
1) The first thing to say about Poland is that the current crisis is unlikely to turn violent
4) As usual in Poland, both sides are entirely unreasonable.
5) The EU is at the heart of the division.
6) Ukraine is central to this. Simply put, the nationalist right has had its fill of Zelensky, whereas Tusk is a devotee of the von der Leyen/Kallas/Merz war-hawk line.
7) This was an attempted coup.
8) I expect this to fizzle out.
