Yeah…I just crossed the bridge from Alton Illinois to St. Louis. The response time from Alton would have been 2 minutes. It took the Black Jack Fire district 15 minutes to get there. Everything was crispy by then and found out my car insurance will not cover my personal belongings. I’m just glad there was rain the night before…all the grass has been dry as a bone for the last month. That would have been a really bad deal.

What I want: 2 computers, 1 set of peripherals. Should be easy, right? No. The monitor doesn’t connect through the switch without a driver, and I can’t put a driver on a company-issued computer.
My brain hurts.
I do that with my quite locked down work laptop.
Any of the more that absolute cheapest set of KVMs should do that with no driver install being required.

I misspoke. The ADAPTER from HDMI to USB requires the driver, not the switch. The switch works fine.
