Aside from the shockingly poor play calling in the red zone by Ohio State, that was a hell of a game they lost to Indiana. But a loss is a loss and now they’re the 2-seed (should have dropped to 3). Oh well, that’s the way it goes when you can’t score and your kicker chokes in every big game he is attempting an important kick in. And the teams that got screwed was Notre Dame, because Bama suffered no consequences for being boat raced. But I suspect the committee wanted to placate the SEC since that’s basically their unwritten mandate from the network who owns them and also owns the rights to SEC games. The Steelers beat the Ravens in a pretty big game. And the Chiefs are on the ropes. Across the pond, Liverpool found a way to blow a game…again. And now Mo Salah is probably on his way out, which is probably what should have happened after last season anyway. And Max Verstappen won the final race of the season but Lando Norris became the F1 world champion anyway, giving Zak Brown, the least likable person involved in the sport, the double championship this year. I’m sure he won’t enter next year being a complete douchebag. And that’s it for sports. LATE ADDITION: This is too funny to not be included.
This will be interesting. Can somebody explain to me how we have “independent boards” in a government that has three branches, one of which is the executive branch who those boards are a part of.
She’s right. Also, I don’t believe her in everything she says beyond the failure part.
Of course they’re getting pressure. The people who put them in those positions want chaos. And the best way to do so is to put morons on the bench who also want chaos.
There’s no mystery as to why it took so long. The FBI had no interest in catching the guy for four years. That’s why they didn’t pursue the case at all. Pretty simple.
We need to just let these people solve the problem themselves. And pull all of our money and equipment going forward. Also, this same statement could and should have been made a year ago.
Anything to reduce the carbon footprint, I guess. Well, anything aside from increasing the number of clean nuclear plants, that is. Instead they can keep relying on Russian natural gas while making their citizens lives more miserable.
The computers are racist! Or something like that.
I guess they lost their cash cow and the rest of the world isn’t willing to pony up. The people only get aid if it’s coming from Daddy Sugar. Which makes me wonder if the UN really cared about the aid in the first place. Somehow this will all be our fault.
And he’s right. The funniest part of this is all the EU officials lambasting Musk on his platform for not bending the knee and cracking down on speech they don’t like on his platform.
I’d think it’s more about the mismanagement and unsafe environment the elected officials have created. But that’s my opinion, having left for those very reasons years ago.
One of my favorites. And it doesn’t get enough airplay. And another one. At least it gets played as much as it should. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Monday, dear friends.

Sloopy forgoes music links? That OSU loss has unexpected ripple effects.
Well that was a quick and sly edit.
It is known that he keeps writing the links while they’re already up.
final links land by 8:30
I wanted to get the links posted on time as a courtesy to those who don’t appreciate the musical arts. Figured I’d do that and circle back to music links after they were up.
final links land by 8:30
They’re done, unless there’s a typo someone starts reeeeeing about that I feel obligated to change. So there’s a 50/50 chance they’re done, anyway.
And mighty fine choices.
<====
Crap, I just found something that HAS to be added. Check the sports section in a minute. This one is gold.
This is why I gave you a half hour.
Having run a live music venue I can assure you that the music showing up late is not a rarity.
And thanks for reliably giving up a chunk of your morning so a bunch of grumpy anti-social types can have a social outlet.
Here’s one: go!

Ah, soary.
Excellent pull Tox!
I doubt the Minnesota cultural enrichers were stupid enough to send cash directly to terror outfits. No, they laundered it through the usual remittances path.
NGOs, baby!!
Long past time to start designating NGOs are terrorist organizations.
I was going to read that ‘are’ as a typo, but I think it still works. No need to pick out individual NGOs to designate, a blanket designation saves time and probably isn’t wrong more than a percent or two of the time.
Ngo is a rather common VN family name. Not in the laundry business, AFAIK though.
I’d be satisfied if they found a way to charge everybody involved in Catholic Charities and LIRS with conspiracy to commit human smuggling.
That would be a great start.
The NGOs won’t be hit because the CIA and the like use them to their own ends and politicians line their pockets from them via reciprocal donations. They should be smashed but they won’t be and they’ll be a thorn in our side for the foreseeable future.
Oh, you mean like Rubio’s State Dept still funding the OCCRP?
Democrats are not soft on crime!
https://x.com/i/status/1965888501158907999
Democrats have turned the criminals of certain demographics into the victims because of social justice shit, and all the victims of crime from these people into the villains for not just shutting up about the crime.
Stop your bitching, if you really had a problem with it you wouldn’t have been born white (or Asian).
I have actually heard that argument made a couple of times…
Solzhenitsyn said similar things. The chaos is a feature, not a bug.
As always, kinetic open captioning is an immediate nope
The late addition sports link is the funniest thing I’ll read all day.
A match between countries that vociferously oppose Pride presents a complex scenario for Seattle organizers, who have set up a Pride Match Advisory Committee (PMAC) to “shape the communications, community activations, and cultural programming” for the festivities.
The people who want you to die deserve the people who would kill you for what you are!
Please please please make them wear the rainbow attire during the match.
The Ravens were ripped off by that call in the end zone. Dude caught the ball and ran three steps before getting it knocked your of his hands.
I’m partial to Pittsburgh, but not making a football motion? What’s running with the ball?
Same here. I was rooting for Pittsburgh, but that call mystified me. I would have thought running through the end zone with the football in your hands was the quintessential football move.
I keep saying its fixed.
You are watching wrestling.
I’m starting to believe you. I can’t wait till they start hitting the QB with a folding chair when ref turns his back.
Yesterday was a bad day to argue it’s not fixed. The Ravens had three bad calls against them (catch in end zone, 15 yd penalty on a field goal that the Steelers turned into a TD, the interception that was actually a pass Rodgers threw to himself).
Dave Portnoy is a ridiculous person, but he’s right that the end of the Raiders game is wildly suspicious.
The officiating for the Browns/Titans game was beyond atrocious. At one point, there was an OPI call against the Titans (which looked like BS OPI regardless), upon review, they determined that it was a backward pass, therefore there could not be OPI. Browns throw a challenge flag, they show the pass going forward a yard, and they say the ruling on the field stands. Not that it would have helped the hapless Browns.
You should see how OL don’t hold Micah Parsons.
Myles Garrett would have said something first, but he was held.
Hard to talk when you’re in a chokehold.
Not holding
I have a fix for that problem.
Keep recidivist criminals locked up permanently? I mean, Escape from NY and Escape from LA were movies, but a lot of that dystopian art seems to be turning into “How to” stuff.
For values of “permanently” that include “the rest of their lives, however short”, sure.
Sorry but wrong, the answer they were looking for is give them more resources and empathy.
I kind of think that “rehab” is wishful thinking so… yeah. It is the logical solution. The point of prison is keep criminals away from the rest of us.
I would think there’s a lot of real estate in northern Alaska that could probably be used for prisons.
+1 Runaway train
Good movie just don’t stop and think about how little train track there is in Alaska.
To say that, JI, is to completely misunderstand movies and literature in general.
A couple of Israelis get the rights to a Japanese screenplay and set it in Alaska. Ain’t international cooperation grand?

“They all look….”
That much is obvious. But why remains a mystery. Was he a plant? That would be my guess.
They just didn’t care once they saw the color of his skin and his likely political affiliations based on the actions of his parents.
That’s my take, anyway.
Sloopy got it. I think the people running the PsyOps on the American people realized that arresting this guy would have undermined the campaign to convince people that J6 was worse than 9-11 and Pearl Harbor combined because of white supremacy. After all, he was not a honkey, and people were bound to see that the J6 thing was a serious racket. My big question is how many of these other crimes were buried by the criminal cabal trying to bamboozle the American people into letting them wreck the populist movement that stood up using Trump to fight their marxist globalist agenda because the perp was of the wrong color, that we don’t know about…
You’re both assuming the FBI ran him down right away and then buried it, when it sounds like they just didn’t bother to do anything on the case until recently. Hard to know for sure, of course.
“You’re both assuming the FBI ran him down right away and then buried it, when it sounds like they just didn’t bother to do anything on the case until recently. Hard to know for sure, of course.”
We are still talking about the same FBI that left no stone unturned and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars and thousands of man hours tracking down people that had done jack shit other than being in the vicinity of the capitol, including a bunch of geriatrics, all to peddle the J6 hoax., right? The same institution that buried story after story that showed you how criminal the Obama admin and the fact the democrats are just a bunch of crime syndicates working towards fucking over this country, and made up fake ones about the guy the people rallied around to stop the globalist agenda? You remember Ray Eps? They took down the “Most Wanted” add in 24 hrs after they realized he was working for them and told all of us to f-off. I am guaranteeing you they knew who this perp was – D.C. has so many cameras that there was no way to miss out – in a day or two (tops), and upon realizing he didn’t fit the agenda, made up bullshit stories about “losing” the phone records, hid or destroyed other evidence, and turned a blind eye to the whole thing. After all, the priority was to destroy Trump and his followers.
That is another angle.
The whole thing stinks to high heaven.
Mark the day Glibbies, I’m in full agreement with Alex. The FBI is rotten, deep, and no one is doing squat about it. Almost like Hoover’s files are still in operation.
Fuck, now JI makes me agree with him on how corrupt the FBI always has been…
I am looking up for that giant asteroid..
And the same FBI who most likely were running guns though a dude in a hotel room in Vegas
They found the guy within a few weeks of Jan 6th and quickly buried it. Remember all the excuses?
“Oh, the phone data was corrupted”
“Oh, a lot of those cameras didn’t work”
The CIA/FBI knew.
I’m assuming he had a handler like a school shooter does and that most “investigations” into these types of incidents are parallel construction events much like a Columbo episode. They knew who he was, because they created/prompted him. Now if we had to catch him, how would we have done that?
Alex and Juris sitting in a tree,
Kay-Eye-Ess-Ess-Eye-En-Gee…
Truly a great day.
Tonio you got a voyeur thing going on there?
The FBI’s mission wasn’t (isn’t?) to catch criminals. It’s to support the politics and narratives that best serve the FBI’s interests. At the time, the narrative was “MAGAt bombs DNC”; actually catching the guy couldn’t really improve on that and, as we have seen, might contradict it. They had what they wanted, so why risk it by actually doing police work?
J6 was a psyop and this guy was part of it. FBI was told to let it go and they did as they were told.
The DNC is owned by Britain. Which explains everything the party has done (and not done) for the last 160 years.
I vacillate between Britain and the EU/WEF. It’s all a wretched hive of scum and villainy.
NPR is STILL trying to tie the pipe bombs to Trump. Every story never mentions the date planted by you know, the date. It is always, without exception “the night before a mob of Trump supporters stormed the capitol.”
NPR and AP is upset that the pipe bomb info out of the administration isnt mentioning the horde on J6. Seriously…
Yeah make your own totalitarian X, assholes. Trump was 100% correct about that shithole going down the toilet.
The EU government is both unelected and full on a totalitarian cabal of monsters. If the people in Europe don’t fight these evil fucks, they are doomed to be conquered by Islam and then marxified by the globalist cabal.
Once Islam rules, the left will be whipped into submission. Some of them will probably like that.
The problem I see are the people on top facilitating this invasion shit thinking that this maneuver is how they will stay on top. I suspect they will be removed – brutally – as soon as it becomes convenient.
The irony being the left being lined up against the wall and the hard core puritanical conservatives will wonder why they didn’t embrace it sooner.
That’s BlueSky and Mastodon.
Remember, the progressive left isn’t satisfied with having their own culture. They want to destroy any culture that they can’t control.
something, something… and ruling over the ashes.
ES gets it.
I don’t often quote Milton, but, “Better to reign in hell, than to serve in heaven…” seems appropriate here.
They should solve their own problems. Instead, they are going insane. Or maybe just grabbing the last bit of loot before the whole EU collapses.
Fining X which Trump and Congress will fight.

And still trying to steal Russian assets – despite the fact that they’d lose the car in court and it would result in the absolute destruction of the Belgian economy.

While Hungary is still being fined a million euros a day for not accepting immigrants.
https://derechadiario.com.ar/us/argentina/hungary-refuses-to-accept-illegal-immigrants-and-faces-million-euro-daily-fines
These people are not immigrants. They are a barbarian horde imported by a cabal of feudal lords (the EU) that has as their first priority to have enough bodies willing to do whatever criminal shit they need to keep their power and luxuries. Think Rome 2.0…
Orban is the only European leader worth a damn. In a just world he’d be the political equivalent of a saint.
One wonders why they stay in that corrupt outfit.
That’s an easy math problem to figure out what is cheaper.
1) They think they can get the economic bennies without the culture war bullshit.
2) They’ve been through something they consider worse and even more corrupt.
3 (maybe) – The EU managed to survive Brexit, but if too many other slave states get ideas, the tanks will start rolling…
Ted, I would amend your statement to say “they think there are economic bennies” to this migration.
There aren’t. The migrants are, on net, an economic loss.
I think we’re all looking at different groups in the “they”. I was thinking of central/eastern Europeans.
It’s not just a net loss, they’re a gross loss. And not just economically.
To put it another way, Pie’s countrymen think they can grift more from Brussels than Brussels can impose on them.
I have been saying for a couple decades that Texas and Florida are going to follow the same path that blue states did. It is inevitable after so many years of people moving in.
Too many of these people fleeing also bring their fucking idiot politics that made them flee in the first place and then wonder why shit goes wrong when they keep voting the same stupid way.
Houston has been blue for some time. The importation of people hasn’t changed the breakdown much.
To be fair, I think its difficult for people to be self relective.
They certinly don’t teach logic or critical thinking.
Its easier that way.
That is irrelevant. I am positing that idiot politics are an inevitable consequence of large numbers of people living in close proximity.
Houston was blue when I moved their in 1995, but outside Houston, Harris County was conservative. That is definitely changing.
We’ve been inculcating stupidity for a generation or two now – what can you expect?
“A World Cup match in Seattle has been named the Pride Match. That game now features Egypt and Iran, which imprison gay people.”
I’m surprised that the gay sports press actually mentioned that, particularly that they did so at the top of the article.
But then later in the article they platform someone who claims that including homophobic countries is somehow a good thing, and will somehow change those countries’ policies.
Sure, Jan. 🙄
This is too laughable. I have a strong feeling it won’t happen. I know sexual orientation theme nights are de rigeur in American sportsball leagues nowadays but no way this flies at the World Cup.
It’s not the organizers. It’s the city itself. And the ticket allotment is gonna be small for traveling fans of the two teams, so my guess is that it’ll officially be a Pride match in the city, but not the stadium. But unofficially it will be in the stadium and there will be a ton of people who bought tickets for the game already with that in mind.
Either way, it’ll be a complete shitshow and my guess is that the media will breathlessly report that it’s a great thing for Pride and a thumb in the eye of…well, crap I don’t know how they can frame it without deliberately offending Muslims. So the media is in for an interesting game of spin.
It is the perfect game for the Rainbow Jihad!
We’ll see. I can picture a nearby country with a lot of money – say Qatar or Saudi Arabia – leaning on the city to do the “right” thing.
As long as no one gets thrown off the building the media will claim victory
They need to be more inclusive on their theme nights. Why limit it to LGBQWERTY? Just have a Sodomy Pride festival – heteros like butt sex and oral sex as much as anybody, so everybody would be “represented”.
Now that, I could get behind…
Ba-dum-tiss!
Just need Messican & Weed Pride nights to round it out.
Apparently Polis will handle that since he boosted two X accounts that discuss beastiality and child porn as a misunderstsnding
Apparently Polis will handle that
Most libertarian of governors ever to libertarian – Checks out!
“When they see how much fun gay people have at the game, they’ll stop murdering them. This is a good thing” is suicidal empathy.
and will somehow change those countries’ policies
Awareness will be raised! They will see the error of their ways!!
Is there a bigger grift than “awareness”? So many nonprofits are all about “raising money for awareness” of stuff that we’re all bloody well aware of! Why do people keep sending them money?
Money, for people!
Raising awareness by the organizer of the NGO going to high profile events the proles couldn’t afford to attend if their lives depended on it and being fawned on by celebrities. Your donation to Susan G. Komen helps us
search for a curefly from an F1 race to the Superbowl with a side trip to whatever the best New Years Eve Party is in a private jet surrounded by VERY healthy breasts! My wife worked at a small “X for Awareness” non-profit for a bit; founded by a lady who had a legitimate family tragedy but had morphed into it paying her a healthy 6-figure salary for working around 20 hours a week, all rubber stamped by her friends who comprised the board.
My cynicism about such outfits has increased greatly over the years.
Most of the companies I consult for are nonprofits.
No amount of cynicism about them is too much.
Remember “The Hunger Project”?
I naively challenged them* back in ye olde days. “But what do you DO?” “We chase awareness!”
*yessss, I know the EST connection
EST would be a good Glibs topic.
The Libertarian Party spends about $1 million each year on average to “raise awareness” of libertarian positions. Any signs that it is money well spent (except for salaries of five employees and the ego boosts to the second-raters running the organization.)?
But I suspect the committee wanted to placate the SEC since that’s basically their unwritten mandate from the network who owns them and also owns the rights to SEC games.
I was wondering what the tie in was. Theres no way an unbiased committee lets in a 3 loss, 5th best SEC team over a 2 loss Notre Dame.
There needs to be a cap on conference representation and a cap on conference size. The SEC is 40% of the playoff field and half of them haven’t played one another. No wonder they’re all one loss teams.
Granted, I’m not shocked that the same group that decided a decade ago to put two SEC teams into the national title game would also decide to make the playoffs an SEC v the world thing.
The conferences are committing suicide and don’t even seem to realize it. The championship games are meaningless. The only good thing coming out of this is the death of the bowls and their idiot ‘boosters’.
It’s all short-term, financialized thinking. Sure, the conferences will be dead except for their logos, and college football will devolve entirely into the NFL farm teams, but there’s money to be made now! It’s the institutional equivalent of someone eating donuts until their pancreas explodes.
The carbon border adjustment mechanism (CBAM) is a first-of-a-kind effort to tax carbon-intensive imports to prevent a flood of cheap products from undercutting the bloc’s heavy industries, which are subject to strict climate regulation and have to pay for greenhouse gas pollution under the bloc’s emissions trading system.
That makes sense.
It almost sounds like a tariff to my ears.
No, no, no – tariffs are something that horrid Orange Man likes. These are sensible border taxes.
No doc – there’s nothing protective about this at all. Something must be wrong with your ears.
Ensure the law prevents the evil corporations from passing along the costs. I want to feel good about offshoring my carbon footprint but don’t want to pay for it.
“Car doors, garden tools, washing machines and kitchen stoves will all become subject to the EU’s world-first carbon border tax as part of a hard-fought review that will also include subsidies for European exporters.”
Just the doors?
Just the doors?
They’re what let the farts out.
It’s like when countries imposed window taxes and people adjusted. Will manufacturers make more two-doors or design something that isn’t technically a door?
The review will also set up a subsidy scheme for exporters to ensure that they are not undercut by higher emission and lower cost global competitors when selling in third countries. But negotiations are ongoing as to the source of the financing as proceeds from CBAM itself are already fully committed to other parts of the EU budget, officials said.
Running in smaller and smaller circles until they disappear up their own assholes.
At least the Climate Gods will be appeased.
All the way to the bank.
Municipalities across NJ do this regularly. I find it hard to believe CA just discovered this.
In short, Pacific Grove’s City Council voted to use our taxes to come up with a strategy to increase our taxes.
https://www.wsj.com/opinion/pacific-groves-tax-dollars-at-work-9fc317dd?st=A3vvhh&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
How many of the local pols have stock in these firms, or have some other connection to them? I suspect the number is far larger than zero.
I wonder if Props & Measures ever does a study that concludes the tax cattle have had enough or even suggested it’s time to cut spending?
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.” — Upton Sinclair
The NH Municipal Association, which lobbies the state government to get more power for municipalities, is paid for by municipally collected property taxes.
There was talk in the NH legislature of prohibiting municipalities (and school districts) from using tax dollars to fund lobbyists, but I don’t remember what happened with it.
“”A Wisconsin Cinnabon employee was fired after a video of her hurling the N-word and other racist abuse at a Somali couple went viral over the weekend.
The video shared on social media shows the employee at the Ashwaubenon Cinnabon, who has not been publicly identified, calling the couple the N-word and saying she is a racist during a heated argument.
“I am a racist, and you are a n—-r,” the employee says while nodding and smiling. “I am racist and I’ll say that to the whole entire world.”
…
The incident comes as racial tensions have skyrocketed in Minnesota and Wisconsin against Somali immigrants following recent statements from President Trump, who slammed Somali immigrants as “garbage” who have “destroyed our country.””
https://nypost.com/2025/12/07/us-news/cinnabon-employee-fired-after-calling-somali-couple-the-n-word-in-viral-video/
Do they put cheese on cinnabons in Wisconsin?
I see they found a way to make it about Trump.
And that’s the NY Post!
Shouldn’t have said it but they were antagonizing her for not wearing a hijab.
To me, it was turnabout, which is fair play. Until there is pushback on this kind of cultural colonization/dysfunction, it will continue.
There’s apparently a GoFundMe for her, which has brought in some coin.
I’ve seen this but is there evidence that that is what set her off?
Although really, if she was going to go that route,“nigger” was the wrong term. “Sand nigger”, maybe. “Goat fucker”, perhaps.
3 min 20 sec on this video:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5RKuTxCzR4I
Still wasn’t the beginning of the interaction so who knows for sure?
I like ‘goat fucker’.
My theory is she is in on another Somali scam with the customers who posted the video.
Ha. It’s all a little bit too pat, isn’t it.
This is a good theory. Get some sympathy going.
It does have that ‘fictional stereotype come to life’ feel that the false flags always have.
What happened to just spitting in the food like normal aggravated employees?
Should have just stabbed her. Apparently that’s a justified, proportional response, even if engaged in a universe in which time can flow backwards.
You wanted race essentialism. Well, this is what you get.
“I am racist and I’ll say that to the whole entire world.”
You sure will.
Elon Musk has called for the European Union to be abolished after the bloc fined his social media company X 120 million euros ($140 million) for a “deceptive” blue checkmark and lack of transparency of its advertising repository.
I hope he included a poop emoji.
lol That is not why they are fining X, at all.
Transparency = give us all your data.
I read that in calculating the fine, they included Tesla and SpaceX as well.
Will Musk tell the EU to fold their fine until it’s all corners, and shove it in whatever orifice would hurt the most? Stay tuned…
Just make Twitter no longer work in any EU IP address. Leave a nice note on the homepage telling all the Europeans why the EU blocked their Twitter access.
“The Trump Administration has been clear: we oppose censorship and will challenge burdensome regulations that target US companies abroad. We expect the EU to engage in fair, open, & reciprocal trade — & nothing less.”
The gnomes of Zurich must have had a good laugh at that.
So fucking F1 is only going to be available on Apple TV next year?
1) Market your sport cleverly during COVID with the timely release of a well shot documentary series to garner new fans.
2) Seeing the explosion of interest in the US, add another US race to the calendar to cultivate the support.
3) Move the races to a separate pay service.
4) Watch interest plummet and wonder why the fuck nobody watches any more.
I’m willing to wait and see on the details, but if they drop the F1TV features like Race In 30, F2, F3, etc. I’ll be pissed.
They’re going with “it’ll actually be cheaper” but I need the details.
How will it be cheaper? Right now, the races, practices, and qualifying are included with basic cable.
Whether through F1TV or Apple, you are talking about adding a streaming service for the majority of viewers.
Sorry, cheaper for people who are already F1TV subscribers (it has a ton of content).
Not at all cheaper if you just watch on ESPN.
Just like MLS.
I wonder what the numbers are like. I know I stopped watching.
I blame the NFL, who has at least three packages offering “all the games”, but which has rules, restrictions, and problems that make watching the game you want difficult.
I’ve been somewhat impressed that MLB seems to have been one of the pro sports that moved forward in a way that seems to work for the majority of the fans. If you’ve got T-Mobile, they generally give out a year of MLB.TV each year in spring as well.
“Woke white women have been melting down over Pantone revealing its annual Color of the Year is a shade of white — with some raging that the choice is tone-deaf and is proof that the “whitewashing of America has gone too far.”
The company announced last week that its color choice for 2026 was “Cloud Dancer” — a bland off-white shade that Pantone insisted served as a symbol of calm in a hectic society.
“Let’s be honest, whiteness is being weaponized every where right now. It’s in our politics, our media, our police forces, our borders. Instead of reading the room, Pantone basically branded it a lifestyle,” one woman posted on TikTok….
It’s giving Sydney Sweeney has good genes. You’re going to choose white and market it as a soothing reset? For who, babe? Who is that soothing?””
https://nypost.com/2025/12/08/us-news/woke-white-women-melt-down-over-pantones-racist-color-of-the-year/
Word association is the worst kind of thinking.
TikTok bitches with nose rings complaining about something that’s a figment of their imagination. So what else is new?
We are all technically a shade of brown
Thinking? You actually expect woke white women to be capable of thought? These creatures are pure midbrain.
Midbrain is too kind. These are people with severly undeveloped frontal lobes
Nah, just malignant narcissists of average intelligence trying to get views.
They have brains?
Assumes facts not in evidence.
“Average intelligence” is pretty fucking bad these days…
Can the world just stop paying attention to “woke white women” already? They gave us Zohran Mamdani and now this.
If we don’t pay attention how are we going to round them into camps?
Sooner or later they’ll all show up there in the robes and hats – complaining about how oppressed they are.
Why pay attention to Pantone?
Good point TOG – a sneaky Pantone PR maneuver?
Which white women? Do they give names? Is it possible that the booger-eating liars that spewed that gibberish are lying?
“The end of the Broncos-Raiders game had Dave Portnoy up in arms, calling for “prison” for the officials, Raiders coach Pete Carroll and the NFL after Las Vegas was able to get a field goal late in the game that had no implication on the final outcome — but was big for gamblers.
The game seemed all but over when Raiders receiver Tyler Lockett made a catch and was tackled in bounds with five seconds left on the clock.
Time would have expired right there, except for the fact that Broncos safety Brandon Jones was on top of Lockett after making the tackle, and the officials called a delay of game penalty — allowing the Raiders to get one more play.
Carroll opted to send his field goal unit onto the field and Daniel Carlson nailed the 46-yard kick as time expired, making the final 24-17, meaning the Broncos failed to cover — Denver had been favored by 8.5 points, and the over, which had been set at 40.5, hit.”
https://nypost.com/2025/12/07/sports/dave-portnoy-goes-ballistic-on-ref-pete-carroll-after-raiders-broncos/
Curious.
I read that in calculating the fine, they included Tesla and SpaceX as well.
I believe what I aw was they “reserve the right” to fine him 6% of world wide revenues from all sources.
They have not yet begun to extort.
So they are going to extort the US Gov since SpaceX has a contract…
EU bureaucrats salivate.
Illustration from a WWII-era Luftwaffe gunnery manual (circa 1944). While it looks humorous, it was a mnemonic visual aid for deflection shooting — that is, how far ahead of a moving target (like an enemy aircraft) a gunner needed to aim so the bullets and the plane would meet in flight.
The four frames show a clear progression: “Viel vorhalten” (lead a lot) when the target is far away or moving quickly across your field of view; “Weniger vorhalten” (lead less) when the target is closer or moving more slowly relative to you; “Noch weniger” (even less) when the target is nearly in line with your aim and requires only minimal lead; and “Draufhalten!” (aim directly on target) when the target is coming almost straight toward or away from you and you essentially point on it.
The woman dropping her towel is a cheeky visual analogy tying “less fabric” to “less lead” — a wartime attempt to make the principle memorable for young male trainees.

Huh, surprising der Fuhrer approved of that one.
Dolph wasn’t opposed to sex. He just wasn’t very good at it.
The US has done similar things – observe The M16A1 Rifle: Operation and Preventive Maintenance.
Grunts are the same the world over; they respond well to a certain amount of T&A.
Also, the Nazis were hardly prudes. Freiheit des Körpers was encouraged, almost to the point of official sanction. Gotta keep popping out those Aryan super-soldiers, after all.
F1 is only going to be available on Apple TV next year?
I haven’t bothered to follow this story. Is that USA only or world? I couldn’t be bothered to sign up for a cheap Peacock subscription to watch IndyCar before they switched to FOX. There is zero chance I would sign up for Apple.

Northern part and offshore. Tsunami is the risk. Lower population and I don’t believe any Glibs or Glib adjacent are that far north.
Is that related to the recent Alaskan one?

I remember serving with an Italian Alpini battalion in Afghanistan.
Supposedly an elite unit.
When asked to accomplish any mission, they would always say “First we must ask Rome.”
Rome always said “No.”
So that battalion just sat there, doing nothing, but the Italian government could say they were supporting the GWOT.
That battalion also had a field bakery with sides of Prosciutto and wheels of Parmesan flown in, and occasionally we got a taste.
So we did have that going for us.
I’m not too worried, Davey D.

The Romanians fought like hell and would do whatever we asked. Lithuanian SOF were largely former Spetsnaz and a lot of them had a grudge against Afghanistan so we had to be careful how we used them because they tended to… ummm… assault through the objective a wee bit vigorously.
And they were very proud of the reliability of their ’50s era BTRs.
Western European units were all worthless except the Brits.

I was under the impression the Romanians did not do much just routine patrols.
From talking to some of my embedded vet friends – the Italians did want to fight, but they were completely hamstrung by their chain of command.
The Brits, and somewhat surprisingly, the French, did a lot of fighting.
Now for today’s important news:
“Sweeney went on to explain how she suffered an injury near her left eye, which required 19 stitches, following a wakeboarding accident when she was younger.
‘One eyelid opens a little more than the other,’ the registered Republican confessed.”

Around 3000 years ago, Finno-Ugric speakers split from other Uralic speakers and moved west after they heard about the formation of the ancient Olympic Games, thinking that one day that’s the sort of thing they would be quite good at.

“In this creepy new series, six ‘contestants’ battle to the death on a deadly island.
The only catch is that every single character has been entirely created by artificial intelligence (AI)….
The show is extremely cheap to produce, reportedly costing just $28,000 (£21,000) to create the entire season. That is less than the average monthly salary of one animator in the UK”

Flood of absolute shit incoming.
Basically Core Wars fast-forwarded to 2025…
An animator makes $300k/year?
Well there are only 3 in the UK…
(I share your confusion.)

When Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrives at 10 Downing Street on Monday, he can expect to be greeted with open arms.
Not just from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, but also French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who are traveling to London in what’s being billed as yet another show of support from Ukraine’s united European allies, or, as Starmer has called them — “a coalition of the willing.”
Willing to what?

Montclair is not a town to its residents, but a choice. A statement of values. A badge of honor to wedge into conversations with strangers. There’s a reason the typical home goes for $1.2 million. And nobody forking over the $21,631 average property bill thought they were signing up for a financial disaster.

“I have lots of food allergies and anxiety,” added Shane, another second grader speaking in a soft, squeaky voice. “Ms. Ceneri makes me feel safe.”

A second grader with anxiety?
Yes, because his (?) parents have made him afraid of the world.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) pushed back on CBS News anchor Lesley Stahl when she was asked to address past controversial statements that the journalist suggested have “contributed” to a toxic political culture.
In perhaps the most contentious moment of the “60 Minutes” interview that aired Sunday, Stahl pressed the Georgia Republican about her change of heart on “the most toxic political culture,” which Greene said is “not helping the American people.”
“But you contributed to that,” Stahl told Greene. “You were out there pounding, insulting people.”
The two sparred as Greene tried to turn the tables on the seasoned news anchor.
“Lesley, you’ve contributed to it as well with your own–,” Greene said.
“Me?” Stahl interrupted.

“A homeowner in Washington, DC is now fighting to have her home back after a squatter took over the property she had rented as an Airbnb for 32 days, but has yet to leave after months. The alleged squatter, Shadija Romero, has been living in the home since February and police have said there is nothing they can do. The squatter allegedly tried to push the homeowner off a ladder.
The homeowner, Rochanne Douglas, did not know her life would be turned upside down after accepting Romero’s request for an Airbnb reservation ten months ago. The reservation ended on March 29, but Romero has yet to leave, claiming tenants’ rights. After being in the home for 30 days, Romero claimed residency and refused to allow Douglas to enter the property, according to ABC 7 News.”

President Trump is slated to roll out a $12 billion farm aid package on Monday, according to a White House official.
The aid includes $11 billion in one time payments to crop farmers as a part of the Department of Agriculture’s Farmer Bridge Assistance program. The remaining $1 billion will go toward crops that are not covered by the program.
——-
The package is the latest effort from the administration to aid farmers who have been negatively impacted by the administration’s tariffs and decreased crop prices.
We’ll never get unstuck.
