Good movie poster scans are hard to find for this one. Nice art though.

Uranus Attacks!

So many options, there are some new movies, and some old movies. And some totally unexpected things, like this. The Uranus Fudge Factory made a movie. And it’s a great promotional stunt! But is it a good movie? We will find out together!

So what is it about? Courtesy IMDB:

The small town of Uranus has been invaded. Two best friend and fudge packing employees at the Uranus Fudge Factory now must save Uranus and stop an evil hive-mind Alien slug named Zamik before he “ass-similates” all of Uranus.

Naturally this movie is a giant advert for the Fudge Factory itself, and I hope that it brings in some traffic. Sometimes I feel like the Uranus Fudge Factory is the most relentlessly advertised tourist trap in the states. Now there are three of them, so any travel in the Midwest will encounter the billboards. There really is not a lot more to say about this. other than the writer/director has done 4 smaller projects and the co- director has no credits whatsoever to his name. Woo! Let’s do this!

So watch! Or don’t! Everything is voluntary! I have only seen the first fifteen minutes of this, and I will watch the rest with you! Next week, I am ready for some Kung Fu! Kung Fu Rascals!

      It’s pretty relentless.
I am an hour ahead of everyone and I have caught my own hand reaching for the remote three times.

That was a pretty tame link because there is a movie series about …..

If so let’s hope he catches some flak on the way.

      That would be great.

Well, shoveled ex’s drive. Movie time and I’m likely to stay over.

Hopefully, is an interesting eve. Regardless, it certainly will be, cuz I’m not at home for the first time in forever.

    We shall see. Onward, glibbies.

Again, special thanks to WebDom and all the rest!

How deep did you dig the hole?

    • Tres Cool

You shoveled your ex’s drive ?

Get plenty of fluids- you’re thirsty af

I pretty sure you meant “give”, not “get”.

Ha! It is true and I did think bout it. We broke on not good terms. A day of chill without strife is a good stone to step on.

(I have nothing invested in this ‘relationship.’.)

        Netflix n chill.

To be completely fair, she’s the only person I ‘know’ in Indy.

      Plinker wins with that one.

I can’t tell because I constantly get logged out when my internet goes down.

And I’m to lazy to toss my cookies.

Damn this global warming is killing us in the east. We should have listened to the experts.

    • Muzzled Woodchipper

      Fuckin’ A.

We’re not used to this kind of cold. We’ve been below freezing for about 10 days, and look to stay below freezing for the next 10. Been around 0 more than we’ve been close to 32.

      • rhywun

Going below 0 here tonight for the first time in years.

I do miss above freezing. It’s been a long time.

      • SarumanTheWoefullyIgnorant

I thought it was climate boiling now!

Every time we get these prolonged cold spells I always remember my mother’s tale of how in the winter her grandfather used to drive a horse and wagon onto the Schuylkill to cut ice for for his ice house (he was a butcher). At a time when the Schuylkill was badly polluted with coal dust which retarded freezing.

        Now that was cold.

At least six out of 10 New Yorkers found dead outdoors during the city’s Arctic deep freeze were homeless, Mayor Zohran Mamdani revealed Wednesday — as critics called on him to “step up” and take action.

This is the first I am hearing that 10 New Yorkers were found dead outdoors in recent days. This is 3rd World shit. WTF?

    • Evan from Evansville

For every thousand useful corpses, maybe one gets the call for martyr status.

Those are rookie numbers. Pump ’em up, and sooner or later… we may get a 96-year-old, black Islamic trannie grandma who saves children from symbolic demons. Helps check the boxes.

      • rhywun

Dead bums are useless to The Narrative unless they’re wearing keffiyehs or holding anti-ICE signs.

      • Evan from Evansville

You and me are two horses in harness on this one. If you get thousands and thousands of ’em, they’ll find a heartbreaking story to sell the evil. A frozen corpse will sell well.

I’m glad I’ve checked NYC off my list. Only went once, with the family in ’03. Can’t imagine going of my own volition anymore. That’s certainly true of Europe, as well.

Bro’s taking the older two boys and their mom to England in May. The University of Evansville has a campus in Grantham, a gorgeous building. I’m sure that’ll be included. I wonder what they’ll see and think.

She’s fighting Trump that’s all that matters to 90% of NY voters.

90% of the ballots. Who knows how many actually voted for her last time.
