No idea what’s going on with the Olympics. When doesn’t the mens hockey start? Gosh, there’s nothing else I can think of. Oh yeah, Liverpool need to get rid of Slot for not getting rid of Salah when he should have. That’s all I’ve got. So I’m moving on.
“Secretary-General, you can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: Nothing. Not even the fee for the back dues, which I would appreciate if you would put up personally.” At least that’s how I’d do it. That group of freeloaders have suckled up to the American teat for too long. If they all want to be treated the same as us, then every member country should pay the exact same amount.
Gee, that’s awful. No, not the story. I’m talking about the misleading headline. Because the “all other crimes” covers a hell of a lot. But either way, you enter illegally, you’re a criminal. Send them all back.
You can show up at the talks or we can show up at your front door. Those are pretty much the options at this point.
Uh, this has been common knowledge for some time. It’s just that nobody wanted to report on it until they were forced to.
Back to potato-land, Paddy. 20 years you spent here illegally and you finally got around to applying for a green card? You’ll get no sympathy from me.
This is fantastic news. I wish Texas would get rid of the LTC requirement on campuses, by the way.
Hooooooooooolllllllyyyyyyyy shit. What the hell were these hospitals and doctors thinking?
Uh, birds were never real. The ones you see every day are just as fake as these ones.
Here are the new details: they made it all up. The “correction” completely changed the entire context of what happened, First it was allegedly Gabbard on the call. Then it was an associate of here in the employ of the US government. And now it’s too foreigners with no ties to the government at all. But the sensationalism will continue so long as the media can get some traction with retards out of it.
Maybe you deserve a big “F-U.” Did that ever cross your mind, you greedy assholes?
Here’s a quality tune. From a quality band. And here’s another one. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Tuesday, dear friends

whaddup doh’
whats goody
““Secretary-General, you can have my answer now, if you like. My final offer is this: Nothing. ”
Exactly. The UN out of the US, and the US out of the UN. It is one of the biggest crime organizations on the planet and we are subsidizing it.
I think we should lock them out but keep the ambassador who have veto authority, and have him veto every vote.
LOL!
Now that’s a nut punch..
No idea what’s going on because I don’t have Peacock.
This is in some super secret squirrel code isnt it ?
No no, the code is pizza, not peacock.

I just assumed Salah would be doubling his salary in an Arab or Chinese league by now.
I am surprised he didn’t leave England years ago.
“Gee, that’s awful. No, not the story. I’m talking about the misleading headline.”
Forget the dumbass headline. I want these people charged and locked up for the maximum time just to send a message to the people that made hay about the J6 pleasure walkers needing to be locked away for decades for jaywalking.
Woo-hoo – early links!
I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I’d let guys like that Irishman stay. Twenty years, runs a business, never in trouble. Yeah, he should have applied earlier but given the Byzantine US immigration system, which often means the immigration apparatchik have no idea what they should be doing, I can understand. Some kind of fine + background check to make sure he’s not blowing smoke.
Yeah with the new updates to Monocle I get to see that the new post usually goes up at a quarter to the hour.
Nope.
Two decades was more than enough time.
He entered 20 years ago under the Visa Waiver Program, where he’d be allowed to visit for up to 90 days without a travel visa. He knew he stayed beyond that 20 years ago and by signing up for that program, he waived his right to appeal any removal order after that 90 days.
Then out of the blue, 20 years later, he applies for a green card? Ridiculous.
He knew he was here illegally for two decades. He had to have worked illegally for the majority of that time, either by stealing an identity, by using fraudulent documents, or by being paid under the table. The fact that he had a work permit after applying for something he’d skirted for two decades is exactly the reason why I want him deported.
Yeah, he knew what he was doing and I don’t want to make exceptions for “the good ones”.
Not making exceptions for the good ones is bad optics that prevents getting rid of the bad ones.
Not making exceptions for the good ones is bad optics that prevents getting rid of the bad ones.
Equal protection under the law is stupid, I guess.
Giving every single deportee months and months of “due process” is also a good way to prevent getting rid of the bad ones.
We have 30MM illegals. Getting them gone can’t be done if go through an extended evaluation of the merits, as an human being, of each and every one.
Overstay a visa? Gone. I don’t care how many puppies and kittens you saved while you were here.
Well, that is the game that Democrats are playing.
“Giving every single deportee months and months of “due process” is also a good way to prevent getting rid of the bad ones.”
Not necessary when there are clear criteria — married to a citizen, no criminal record, here for over 5 years.
“Well, that is the game that Democrats are playing.”
It’s not just a game the Democrats are playing. What good is served by kicking this guy out?
Tater, that sure sounds like a form of amnesty. Fool me once . . .
Getting rid of all of them is equal application of the law.
Deport them all.
No amnesty. If we have to throw them out reentry should be a capital offense. If they leave voluntarily, they can make their pleas to be given the privilege of entering legally from their home countries. They’ll be at the back of the line, but that’s better than they should get.
It’s not just a game the Democrats are playing. What good is served by kicking this guy out?
The law is being enforced in an even handed manner, rather than according to your specific view of the optics? That’s kind of an important good. Doing what you suggest is not law enforcement; it is rule by the whim of whoever gets to decide what ‘optics’ are good. If you are here illegally go away. If you go away voluntarily we’ll let you apply to come here legally. If not you get barred. It seems like a pretty sensible policy to me.
Not necessary when there are clear criteria — married to a citizen, no criminal record, here for over 5 years.
“Congratulations! You beat the system that didn’t care to enforce the laws on the books for nearly two decades. Your reward is to not have the law applied to you so we can apply it to people who just started breaking/evading it.”
Fuck that. If anything, we should come down even harder on people who show 20 years of disrespect for our laws and sovereignty than people who just started disrespecting them in the last year. Deport him to Eritrea or Sudan instead of Potatoland. Let him find his way back from there.
Unironically this. Reward achievement. Plus, (welfare should not exist) the purpose of immigration laws should be to kick out people you don’t want here.
“The law is being enforced in an even handed manner”
You cannot be serious.
Deporting Hispanics en masse while letting some white dude skate is also bad optics.
“Deporting Hispanics en masse while letting some white dude skate is also bad optics.”
True, but if they did nothing, know one would know.
I’m sure his plastering business has been appropriately paying all his taxes, right?
It’s the old hide until amnesty game.
Listening to some racist make excuses for why Maori and Pacific students are incapable of attending school as much as whites, but give us more money anyway.
I guess I missed something, b/c I don’t understand this one.
Yeah, I’m a few days behind in my podcasts. Apparently the education supremos in NZ released the annual attendance figures, and non-whites had more absences. Cut to an interview with a Maori principal who had all sorts of ridiculous reasons for it.
Supposedly Maori kids suffer crippling anxiety about going from middle school to high school.
Of course, the principal claimed the school needs more resources to solve the problem.
Are you kidding me?
It had better be that the kids are lying to get the pricnipal off their back because they just don’t want to bother (typical teenage behavior) or the ghosts of their ancestors need to kick these kids’ asses for being pathetic
“Of course, the principal claimed the school needs more resources to solve the problem.”
🙄
Of course they did.
Every problem can be solved with more laws + more regulation + more (tax) money.
The solution is to increase the demonization of white kids to get their anxiety about going to school up to the Maori level.
“But we don’t want the Irish!” – Blazing Saddles
Id kick him out and make him pay extra for all the time he spent here.
You can come back after you have paid the total wages you made in that twenty years.
I’m on the fence. I’d like to know how he got a work permit and how long he had it.
From personal experience, I know how difficult it is to work with INS (or ICE now). I’m very open to the idea that the dumb fucks there may have had some role in him not becoming legal.
When Mrs. Holiness and I were going to get married, we (she) decided we should do it in Korea. We went to the Memphis INS office and explained what we wanted to do to a friendly case worker there. He asked if Mrs. H’s student visa was still valid (it was). He told us that if we filed our marriage paperwork while in Korea, she would have to stay there while her case was adjudicated. He said we should come back to Memphis and then file the paperwork. She’d be allowed to stay in the US then.
Fast forward to us having to go in and do an interview to prove that we were an actual couple. The same case worker is doing the interview. They guy asks us if my wife is currently going to school. She said no, and he reaches into his desk and pulls out a piece of paper that was already typed up. He informs us that since she wasn’t in school now, her entry into the country using the student visa was fraudulent. But no worries, he had this waiver that we could use and it only cost $200!
I told him that we did exactly what he told us to do. The prick sanctimoniously told us that he would never have told anyone to break the law. I wanted to kill the fucker, but a) we were on video and b) that probably would have delayed Mrs. H’s green card.
Anyone who hasn’t dealt with the bureaucrats at ICE can’t imagine how inept and nasty they are. They know that if anyone talks back to them, they can fuck their life over completely.
One of my followup questions about this case is whether he ever got any welfare.
If he did, I’m going to insist that he gets tossed and then trumpet it throughout the land. I’d want every illegal to know that if they have ever taken welfare that there will be no leniency or waivers for them.
One of the things I had to do to get Mrs. Holiness’ green card was to get my parents to sign some document that said that if we ever tried to get welfare (for the first 5 years?) they’d be on the hook for repaying it.
I am still confused by how the illegals are able to get welfare now, when I couldn’t have gotten it as someone trying to the legal thing.
I think your case worker was opposed to you in particular getting married. Your poor wife just got caught in the crossfire.
Typical government employee bahavuor.
Subtract 10 million dollars for every “peacekeeper” rape victim and for every parking ticket. Divide the result by 350 million and cut a check for every American. Then vacate the premises in NYC.
“We owe you nothing. You owe us about sixty trillion at this point.”
Yep.
I’d charge them for all the criminal offenses committed by UN shitstains in our territory, plus punitive damages for their actions against our interests.
What we ‘owe’ should be covered if we just write off their NYC parking violations.
“Here are the new details: they made it all up. The “correction” completely changed the entire context of what happened, First it was allegedly Gabbard on the call. Hey, at least it was not a completely false and made up pile of doo-doo, like the Russian collusion or the Hunter Biden Laptop disinformation letter by 51 intel screwbags hoaxes, and was just the manipulations of what happened to create a false narrative. You know, like practically all the other hoaxes.
These people are however the ones that claim to be defending democracy from fascists. The fact that they are using the tactics that marxist and fascist liars always use to fool the serfs notwithstanding, they mean well. Only, they mean well for themselves. There are trillions of dollars in fraud they stand to lose if they lose power, and they need to defend that.
“This is fantastic news. I wish Texas would get rid of the LTC requirement on campuses, by the way.”
My bet is this works better than “Gun free zone” signs to dissuade the fame seeking retards looking for soft victims.
Idaho is constitutional carry but you have to have an ‘enhanced’ carry permit to pack on campus. They talk about being conservative but the vast majority in Boise are commies.
+1
Yeah, I am supremely pissed at the lefty narrative here. They can’t admit the truth which is they want those warm bodies to pump up Dem numbers so they pretend to support the deportation of “the violent ones” and even that is a lie.
“Uh, this has been common knowledge for some time. It’s just that nobody wanted to report on it until they were forced to.”
Anyone that tries to argue an illegal/nefarious connection between Epstein and Trump is a moron. If that connection existed, even vaguely, the people claiming to be saving democracy from the nazis would have used it to lock up Trump. I remind everyone of the Meghan Kelly interviewing Assange meme that when around and said “The day the legacy media stopped supporting Wikileaks completely”, referring to the fact that when Meghan asked Assange about any existing negative Trump information in all their leaks, and he answered there was nothing….
It does however explain why they needed to make up shit about Trump…
They tried to arrest him over the classified document case that everyone breaks, paying off a mistress to keep her trap shut, and overstating the value of his land on a loan app (value is independently verified before loan is made and no harm done anyways), when they had damning evidence of him banging teenage prostitutes?
Yeah, no. Sorry, but there is nothing even remotely damaging to Trump in those files.
I saw them play at Lollapalooza in the 90’s.
What the hell were these hospitals and doctors thinking?
It’s a limited AI that’s designed for a specific task. It may or may not actually have a lower rate than human read imaging. But AI is the current boogeyman so the trial bar has decided to get a pound of flesh.
Given human error in medicine, medicine is one application that makes a reasonable use case for AI. Problem is nobody is going to be rational about this. Wall St and the healthcare industry is going to want as much expensive labor savings as possible. The AMA is going to want to protect its members as much as possible. And the trial bar wants to make a buck. What could go wrong?
I could see them having AI do shadow procedures until the error level is well below 1% consistently for an extended period of time. Any actual use of them for real-life procedures prior to that is a liability nightmare.
“It’s a limited AI that’s designed for a specific task. It may or may not actually have a lower rate than human read imaging. But AI is the current boogeyman so the trial bar has decided to get a pound of flesh.”
The common man and business leadership are all looking for a “do-it-all” AI, whether it is to be their buddy/lover/confidant, or to replace those pesky human workers, but this is not the future of successful AI. At least not at this time, based on the AI models and how the AIs are trained (based on what garbage is used to train them, and more importantly, what things that they have learned is taboo). Maybe this problem gets fixed in the future with new hardware, software, and AI methodologies, but for now that ain’t happening.
The place where AI – today – will make a killing is super specialization. Super specialized AIs kill at their jobs with success rates and speed that surpass humans insanely. For example, those looking for military applications now are hard at work creating specialized AIs which are then combined in specialized platforms, that perform completely autonomously with great ability. Whether they be CCAs (Collaborative Combat Aircraft, or unmanned buddy drones that fly next to F-22s, B-52s, B-1s, B-2s, F-35s, or even the future B-21s and F-47s platforms) or UUVs/AUVs (Uncrewed Underwater Vehicles or Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) that can operate of ships, subs, or autonomously they are now creating smaller AIs to do the various tasks to make those platforms function. Similarly, in the private sector, the AIs that are killing are those highly specialized to do a narrow scoped job (help developers with their efforts, help create documentation, or even help analytics efforts). The effort to create an autonomous phone agent however, ain’t close to being possible yet, even if you create one for a highly specialized business function, because it needs to deal with humans. Same with autonomously driven vehicles. The tech already make them exceptional, but the problem is they share the road with human drivers, pedestrians, and the evil bicycle monkeys.
In this case they had a hyper specialized AI being used for a very specific task that threatened a bunch of people that make YUGE money’s jobs. You can bet your ass they will fight that and do not care if the AI was better and would help save lies or not.
Here comes the singularity where the AIs decide humanity MUST be ended….
10 injuries in four years doesn’t even rise above the noise floor of medical malpractice.
ten out of how many operations compared to the human average rate?
We need more numbers!
3. 7. SQRT(11). 4/3.
Do you still needs more numbers?
yes, relevant ones.
All the docs I have seen for the last ten years have left the room with their iPad in had checking web md. Nothing I can’t do.

While I have seen some remarkably deep sentient thought on Moltbook I dont think we are at the ‘can do surgery’ stage yet.
Has it crossed anyone else’s mind yet that Moltbook might be a hoax?
Misuse is in the eye of the drone controller.
Situation: So many lies and slander about Trump and his people that I assume anything bad about them is a lie or slander.
Problem: If they actually do something bad people will just blow the reports off as more lies and slander.
At 1 p.m., thousands of people, from kindergarten students to union leaders, filled the streets outside City Hall for a rally, wearing graphic shirts supporting the teachers and yelling various chants like “When we show up, we show out.”
Where are the pre-school students?
The pre-school students are at the gender affirming clinic you transphobe!
There are not transgender children… There are severely sick adults that have put this crap in these kids that have no concept of sex.

Take a deep breath; I’m slightly more certain Neph was being sarcastic than I am certain gravity will not be turning off for 7 seconds late rthis year.
I was paraphrasing Neph’s sarcasm… I am pretty sure he is not for that insanity..
“When we show up, we show out.”
What does that mean?
Dicks out for teachers’ unions?
From the stories I see weekly, the teachers prefer the dicks in.
Like most Proggie garbage, it doesn’t mean anything. It’s a thought-stopping chant, typical of cult behavior.
“Xisa Buloock Watts, a paraeducator at Alamo Elementary School and a Lowell Elementary alumna, also attended the rally, although she told SFGATE she had “not slept all weekend.”
She jumps from an airplane?
Para = “like almost” profession X.
I’ve always found the term ridiculous when it was in limited use. Now it’s just funny as it is applied to more and more jobs that may or may not be “professional” to begin with.
Damn it Sensei. My brain keeps reading that as: “like almost” Professor X.
Nobody’s been able to tell me what the difference is between a paraprofessional and a para-amateur.
A para-amateur gets paid but does a substandard job.
Hey! I resemble that remark.
My mom was a teacher’s aide for the “slow” kids. Union insisted on “paraprofessional”, or worse, SRP for “school-related personnel”.
Near the end of her career she had to get some sort of new certification that did nothing to change the actual work she did but let the union talk about the alleged qualifications its members had to obtain.
Nobody’s been able to tell me what the difference is between a paraprofessional and a para-amateur.
The first is playing dress up, the second is breaking NCAA rules.
Why didn’t she go Wick on the Union officers and clean them out?
This use of para is from the Greek for “adjacent” but the para from French for “guard against” may be more accurate.
The french “para” comes from latin, where it means prepare for…
That’s paraplegic Neph

He Vowed to Revive RadioShack and Pier 1. Investors Say They Were Swindled.
It’s like catnip for old people. Take a bunch of defunct store brands and claim to launch them online. Add in money back and income payments. It’s both amazing and sad.
https://www.wsj.com/business/retail/tai-lopez-radioshack-pier1-investors-sec-66352aab?st=iybwKU&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
Radio Shack back in the day was the shit. Damn this guy to nerd Hell for sullying their good name.
When I was little we could go to RadioShack and find all the passive electrical components (resisters, diodes, capacitors, etc) we could need. Now I have to order them online and wait days to weeks. It does mean my local stockpile is getting pretty complete so that I have everything on-hand, but I’m sad at the loss.
Agreed. Radio Shack was an amazing place in the 70s and 80s.
As a card carrying battery of the month club member, I agree.
Things are way better now in regard to electrical components. The number of different parts you can buy online is a million times what you could get at Radio Shack.
That’s just the difference between online and brick and mortar. Online always has the broader catalog, but you have to wait.
They were owned by The Tandy Corporation, which was an interesting company in that they had Radio Shack, Tandy Leather and also owned vast pecan groves in Central Texas. That’s an interesting business diversication.
So a leather-bound TRS-80 with a pecan wood case would be completely on-brand?
I worked at Radio Shack through college and graduate school.
Their comp was rather interesting. 100% commission OR minimum wage. You got one or the other for the hours you worked. Needless to say a successful employee almost always was paid on commmission.
DrOtto – they also owned Tandy Wire and Cable. That was license to print money.
They basically became addicted to cell phones and kept making bad phone deal after bad phone deal. That’s what did them in.
Having to wait is better than not being able to buy it at all.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinney_National_Company
Interesting, did you have to decide on that at hiring or did they give out the higher of the two for a given week?
SW – you worked 40 hours in a week.
40 hours * minimum wage = X.
Sales * commission % = Y.
You get the greater of X or Y.
Radio shack has saved me when I needed a relatively obscure fuse on the weekend.
Now like UCS I have to keep a stock, and pay a lot more to wait for them to show up.
Knowing someone who pulled similar shit on a smaller scale, I suspect he intended it being what he promised, it just never happened. Then the desperation sets in and you have to rob Peter to pay Paul, from there it unravels pretty quickly.
Especially when Paul is the escalating costs of a lavish lifestyle…
Am I the only one who doesn’t care about Savannah Guthrie’s mom?
Who?
^^^THIS^^^
I never knew who Savanna Guthrie was prior to this.
84, odds are she’s been dead for a while.
My media diet contains very little of that.
I definitely need to cut out the tee-vee news cuz it is wall-to-wall there.
That said… I am hesitant to even weigh in on this non-story but I have a feeling that there is no “abduction” or “ransom demand”.
Yup. I have heard literally less than ten stories about this, but everything I have heard makes it seem like a murder being disguised as a kidnapping.
The fact that every story stresses that it’s Savannah Guthrie’s mom, rather than her name, or even the disappearance itself is kind of telling. Woman kidnapped or murdered? Do we care? Oh, she has a semi-celebrity kid? Yeah it’s news!
I don’t even know who this Guthrie person is, so adding another layer of “not my problem” doesn’t sell their news stories.
I don’t even care about Winston’s mom.
On Thursday, the New Hampshire House voted 188–165 to advance House Bill 1793. The legislation would prohibit publicly funded colleges and universities from restricting the lawful possession or use of weapons, including firearms and non-lethal self-defense tools such as tasers and pepper spray. The bill will now be reviewed for any fiscal impact before moving to the Senate.
“Review for any fiscal impact” usually means the bill has to go back to committee and then back before the full House before going to the Senate. I read the fiscal note. I think UNH has an ally in trying to kill the bill.
UNH and other government owned colleges used the state preemption statute (RSA 159:26) to prohibit firearms on their campuses. There is no RSA prohibiting carrying guns on school grounds or colleges or anything like that. The state preemption statute restricts regulation of firearms to the state. UNH and other government schools said, “We’re an agency of the state. Under the state preemption statute only the state can regulate firearms. Therefore, we can regulate firearms”.
An “agency of the state” is not “the state”.
I’m not sure anyone challenged UNH’s rule, but given the courts in NH, thinking back to their Rona Panic rulings, what you said doesn’t matter.
Well yeah, the rule of law left the building long ago.
Yep.
Thinking more on it, I think the better solution would be to sell UNH and the other state owned colleges off while cutting off all their money. They want to act like a private entity by banning guns on their property, they can be a private entity.
Don’t sell the schools as a whole unit.
Auction off the assets, lay off all the empoyees, retire the institution. If someone wants to buy the real estate parcels and start a new school, they can do so with a new name and new faculty.
Auction off the assets, lay off all the empoyees, retire the institution. If someone wants to buy the real estate parcels and start a new school, they can do so with a new name and new faculty.
That’ll work too.
I don’t care how they go about it. As long as there are no government run colleges at the end of the process.

News to me.
Everything in this story is retarded.
My redheaded highschool buddy had a bad temper too but he just used to get into fistfights.
Ah, the classic Twinkie Defense.
So, do you think they are trying to Milk it?
Trump did an truly terrible job getting out in front of the Epstein stuff. Robert Barnes is convinced that Bondi lied to Trump and told him there was stuff incriminating him in the files.
In reality most of the Trump (and Musk) mentions were attempts by Epstein to cozy up to them draw them in.
Maybe just maybe Trump handled it the way he did because he really did think he could browbeat his worshippers, whoops hardcore supporters, into dropping the whole thing. A self-inflicted wound IMHO.
Maybe a little of both?
Maybe but at some point relieving Trump of blame because of piss poor personnel decisions has to stop.
Maybe but at some point relieving Trump of blame because of piss poor personnel decisions has to stop.
You can’t hold Donald Trump accountable. He might have to deliver. How is that abolition of the Department of Education going?
About as well as the Fort Knox audit and ending the Ukraine War.
Why would Iran agree to the new missile restriction goalposts we just invented a week ago? These negotiations are purely performative.
Trump’s boss Bibi is showing up uninvited tomorrow to order him to start a war.
Trump’s boss Bibi is showing up uninvited tomorrow to order him to start a war.
Ohhhhkaayyyy……..
🙄
Because kablooie?
A bit of an overstated view of Israel’s influence but Bibi would certainly love to see it and I’d imagine pressure will be applied. Hopefully he’s not stupid enough to do it but I’m not going to hold my breath on that one.
There’s probably lots of reasons they would agree to them. The question is, is there any reason to think they will abide by them?
I, for one, am still waiting for Congress to authorize the use of military force against Iran. Without that, the whole buildup in the ME should be nothing more than a military exercise, practice for when Congress actually does its job.
when Congress actually does its job.
Holy shit Sloopy, you’re a funny guy!
I think you have it backwards. Iran really did abide by their nuclear deal and IAEA reported them as cooperating and in compliance until the war last year.
Iran is absolutely refusing any kind of limit on missiles as an infringement on their sovereignty. Negotiations in that direction will go nowhere.
They’re fishing for a reason to justify bombing, it’s as simple as that. Keep ramping up the demands and when they balk you have your casus belli.
Yeah, I got a mild laff out of that one.
I can see that.
I can also see the rest of the world getting sick of them funding terrorism around the world.
Nuclear weapons and the ability to deliver them is existential to the Iranian regime. Both for self protection, if there is enough sanity there (like in North Korea’s case) or to bring on the holocaust and the Mahdi to solve the Sunni-Shia schism already, if you are one of the many nutjobs currently running that country at the top level…
“Iran really did abide by their nuclear deal and IAEA reported them as cooperating and in compliance until the war last year.”
doubt
Don’t doubt it. Iran tried anything and everything to break out and get both the missiles and the nuclear warheads. For all the talk of compliance everyone knew the only reason that had not happened yet was that intel ops kept setting the program back. Iran’s mullahs need the nuke, and they will never give up on it.
Iran funds Hezbollah (a Shia group), yes. The rest of the Islamic groups we’ve been fighting for decades are Sunni led organizations. Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, Hamas. (ISIS is there own weird Salafi thing).
I would love to see Hezbollah disarmed, and peace in Lebanon. Not even a topic of conversation in these negotiations.
There isn’t much left of Hezbollah these days.
“I would love to see Hezbollah disarmed, and peace in Lebanon. Not even a topic of conversation in these negotiations.”
Yeah, I bet it is not discussed because everyone knows Hezbollah is Iran’s dirty deed proxy, and they can trust Iran’s promises on that as much as Iran’s promise they do not want nukes… You do not negotiate Hezbollah away, BTW. You have to kill them all.
I have no idea why my fingers typed “Sloopy”.
Is Sloopy a clown to you??

Brief flashback triggered by this article:
https://nypost.com/2026/02/09/us-news/minn-gop-gov-candidate-jeff-johnsons-daughter-stabbed-to-death/
If they arrest him while he is in the hospital, they have to pay his bills and post a guard. Of course, they want to be notified when he’s discharged so they can pick him up at the curb. Unfortunately for the cops, HIPAA prohibits hospitals from disclosing discharges to them unless they certify in writing that he is an imminent threat of some kind (its been a few years, a little foggy on exactly what the terminology is). I had more than one argument with cops about this.
I keep wondering what the value of HIPAA is – No sarc. Every time I hear about it, it’s absurd cases like this: “We can’t tell you when this murder suspect is being discharged, you’ll just have to guess.” or “Oh no, we couldn’t possibly provide any information about vaccination status and pathology, HIPAA you know, nothing to do with covering our and our financial sugar-daddies asses. HIPAA.”
What value does it provide to the consumer? Can’t communicate valid information to insurance companies I suppose? And while I see the value to the consumer there, it still seems a bit wrong to restrict valid information to prevent accurate risk assessment. What value does HIPAA provide?
“I keep wondering what the value of HIPAA is – No sarc. ”
It mutated from a desperately needed privacy law, passed 2 decades and some years ago and intended to force entities that were careless with customer’s personal information which could then be used for fraud, to a vehicle for all sorts of rackets, as any government forced implementation of any rule/system ends up being. These days the penalties that were used to force the companies that did not implement enough security to protect people are more used to scam companies by government entities and lawyers, as the original intent – protecting PPI – has become secondary…
WEBSITE NOTICE: I’m having trouble uploading images to the Media Library, and I suspect this isn’t just a me thing. I’ve notified WebDom and am in a holding pattern. I’ll let you know when the problem is resolved.
I ran a test and just uploaded https://www.glibertarians.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/ComfyUI_temp_aepzj_00001_.png
Firefox on Windows 10. So it’s not everybody
Well, it is everyone, it’s a storage space issue. Our media library is quite large and rarely cleaned up.
Can I go through the stuff that I’ve uploaded and delete what I know to be irrelevant, or is it all one big timey-wimey archive?
😲
Who’s been deleting stuff to free space?
I deleted my test file to be polite.
I was able to on Friday.
And again last night. I am using Brave on Windows. So it may just be a local issue.
It gives me the option to sort by “mine,” so I’ll go decluttering.
@NA – I’ve used thast option for some time, I just don’t have too many that aren’t associated with an article. Is the current advice to remove article-related media to free storage?
Not Adahn:
The Media Library is the Media Library. I’m not sure if there’s an automated cleanup option or if we have to do it manually. I believe the worst case scenario if you delete stuff that you’ve uploaded is a missing image in a post/header. Pretty sure we can roll with that. 🙂
We have nearly 30k items in the media library?!
😮
I believe the worst case scenario if you delete stuff that you’ve uploaded is a missing image in a post/header. Pretty sure we can roll with that.
Is that a requested/recommended action? I’m perfectly happy to back to old articles (think the first was 2020) and delete the associated images, but don’t want to break things that the site maintainers expect to work.
Apparently I uploaded 1800?
Thanks, NA. Not completely necessary, but appreciated.
WebDom is looking into auto-deleting “orphan” media, those files that are in the library but not used in any articles.
I tend to use HTML IMG tags, so a lot of mine show up as “unattached”. Would this process regard those as orphaned?
Free orphans! I’ll take 5.
Media Library issues have been resolved. It blew up when I was uploading illos for one of FourScore’s upcoming articles. High-five, bro. It’s been a long time since I’ve maxed out storage on a fileserver.
There was no problem with the size/number of illos in the article, this was just the straw that broke the camel’s back, as it were.
Once again Fourscore is causing problems
Don’t let the Canadians get word of this. Flocks of cyber-enhanced cobra chickens might let them fend off the conquering MAGA army for a few more days…

STIJLTH
This shit is real? Not a Babylon bee joke? We need to encourage more Darwin awards behavior to clean up the gene pool..
Wow.
The problem with “the Epstein Stuff” is that it started off as a “commonly known fact” that Epstein kept organized records of his guests, their predilections, what they could offer and relevant blackmail material. AFAICT this is a complete fiction. Then the concept gets renamed and reprocessed in “The Client List” et. al.
Since there never was any actual collected package of bad guy info, it would be up to the government to create one, and they’re not going to do that, and therefore they CAN’T release anything that will ever satisfy people that actually cared (as opposed to those who are just opportunists who will never be satisfied because that’s not and never was the point.)
It looks like the “blackmail” was implicit and was sort of a mutually assured destruction because they were all implicated to varying degrees. His primary role seems to be as a dealmaker and money mover and all the sex stuff facilitated those purposes and were secondary to them.
it started off as a “commonly known fact” that Epstein kept organized records of his guests, their predilections, what they could offer and relevant blackmail material.
I would expect that anything in that realm would be in that bucket of stuff that will never see the light of day. Even setting aside the conspiratorial aspects of it, the FBI isn’t gonna release a video of Bill Clinton clam slamming a 14 year old.
The idea that Epstein had a little black book that said “Clinton, Bill – Likes brunettes with braces, two at a time, age 9-14, particularly likes Stephanie” was always absurd.
Ladies and Gentlemen, our electric future awaits!
“The 500-mile Long Range with its 23,000 lb curb weight sacrifices about 3,000 lbs of payload for the extra range, but it still opens up the possibility of all-electric long haul trucking for lighter loads.”
https://electrek.co/2026/02/09/tesla-reveals-final-semi-specs-with-two-trims-ahead-of-customer-deliveries/
500 miles is long haul?
Meaning diesels go 1,000+ miles before they refuel.
“60% charge in 30 minutes”
All well and good but do I even need to ask the question?
This is step 1. Step 2 is robot driver.
While the range is 1/4 of what a normal semi can do, human drivers need to take required time off and sleep breaks and those logs are gps tracked because it’s not 1988.
And the AI will “offload” your cargo right into the Oakland estuary, missing the harbor by two miles.
Whom do you sue the first time the AI causes a 98-car pile-up?
The OEM and any subs involved in the automation.
All of those numbers scream ‘What the fuck? Are you nuts?’.
IOW “I carry one and a half tons less a quarter of the distance but at least I only consume 50 times the hydrocarbons!”
What are the subsidies on these abominations?
DoJ reacts to Massie on Epstein files
In response to my posts on X today, DOJ
1) unredacted an FBI file that LABELS two individuals as co-conspirators
2) unredacted a file that lists several men who might be implicated
3) tacitly admitted that Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem was the sender of the torture video
So Kash lied to congress? Say it ain’t so.
Sorry, I should have warned you to have your shocked face ready.
I denounce myself.
BMW’s Newest “Innovation”.
https://www.ifixit.com/News/115528/bmws-newest-innovation-is-a-logo-shaped-middle-finger-to-right-to-repair
It’s a masterpiece of anti-functional design. To the casual observer, it seems to serve no purpose other than to look “cool”, but when it comes to the nitty gritty of DIY repair, it ensures that a standard toolbox is useless for basic maintenance. In fact, the patent explicitly states this as a function of its design in section [0006]: “…to prevent being loosened or tightened…by unauthorized individuals.”
Looks cool, is stupid. Sort of a brazen fuck you to BMW customers but they must be used to those by now.
Because no one has security bit sets. If they need to add one more bit, no big deal, Snap-on will sell you one for $50.
Sure. Naturally Snap-on will pay BMW the $50 license for the dumb bit. OTH, the Chinese will knock them off, but who knows on the quality.
The loser, as usual, is the vehicle owner. iFixit is annoyed because a stated purpose is to burden owners. I think that particular complaint is valid.

“Jake Paul has now claimed he was ‘hacked’ after he came under fire for his rant about Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday night.
The YouTuber turned professional boxer, 29, encouraged his fans to boycott Bad Bunny’s performance, because he is a ‘fake citizen who hates America’.
However, some fans turned on him and called him a ‘hypocrite’ for publicly slamming Bad Bunny, while personally reeping the benefits of the Puerto Rican tax system.
Jake, who owns a $16million mansion in Dorado, later tried to clarify his opinion, explaining he was criticising the artist, 31, for ‘hating’ on the U.S. despite benefiting from the platform it gives him, before backtracking altogether.
Seemingly trying to suggest it was not him who posted attacking the star, Jake said: ‘Guys I love Bad Bunny idk what happened on my Twitter last night? Wtf.’
However, not everyone was buying that Jake had been the victim of cyber hacking, and even suggested that maybe his views were losing him brand deals.”
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-15544987/Jake-Paul-backtracks-Bad-Bunny-rant-backlash-super-bowl-hack.html
In other news, Milo is claiming Elijah Schaffer had an affair with Sarah Stock, who then deleted her social media.
Jake Paul and Bad Bunny should be sewn together into a giant gunny sack and thrown into a convenient river.
I wish everybody would just “delete their social media”.
Tho to be fair, Mr. Bunny’s hatred for the United States has been explicitly stated. So this guy gets half-credit.
By the way, Heil Vitmer is polling at 63 percent positive after driving her state into the ground and despite no meaningful accomplishments.
She is, as I maintain, catnip for suburban women. Vance needs to look out in 2028.
Interesting article on the effect of feminine values shaping society: Men Are Going to Strike Back
What logical reason is there to believe men really will strike back?
Ted S. – that is actually the one disagreement I had with the article. I don’t think men will “strike back” so much as just check out and say ‘fuck it’.
I’m reading it is “something or someone will snap” and it won’t be pretty when it does.
Yup, been observing that for years.
NYT – “Without a Border ‘Invasion,’ Texas G.O.P. Turns to an Old Enemy, Islam”
Why is readership in the NYT declining year over year? It’s a mystery.
One wonders if any NYT writer has actually listened to what the good imams are telling their flocks.
I wondered when this was going to start happening.

I look forward to the relevant edition of the “Unwatched,” but I did finish Fallout S2.
Completely. Pointless. Whoever taught writers that the end of a season should reset everything plotwise to the status quo ante needs to be shot. This one was perhaps more egregious in being skippable than “The Boys,”
🙁
On the plus side, you can always start a new season without going back and watching earlier episodes, because the preceding ones don’t matter!
I thought that The Boys was the worst offender about this, but maybe they share writers with Fallout?
It was all a dream.
The problem is there are not enough good scripts all these streaming services. We went from three to thirty-seven networks.
Thirty-seven networks whose hiring criteria were not based on quality of work product.
That’s one of the reasons why KPDH made me so angry — why was this so good when everything else is crap?
I don’t own Season 2, and don’t plan to buy it.
Well, they did manage to shit upon FO:NV more, and ruin more game lore while doing so…
After Season 1, I didn’t really expect them to respect the source material.
At the end of S2 they have a big expo dump informing you that The Enclave exists, and they’re soooper evil. Even worse than the Howard Hughes guy.
You mean the good guys of 2 and 3 who only wanted to clean uo the wasteland?

“Republican members of Congress introduced legislation at the end of last month meant to target colleagues suspected of using campaign funds for personal and familial benefit.
The bill is known as the Oversight for Members And Relatives Act — also known as the OMAR Act — and was filed by Reps. Tom Tiffany and Tony Wied, both Republicans from Wisconsin.”
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/02/republicans-introduce-omar-act-deal-corruption-congress/
LOL
Unless that money is spent on hookers, booze, blow, and abortions or baby mamas, they need to pay us tax payers back!
😂🤣
Solutions
The bill includes numerous provisions, including cutting housing and environmental regulations around constructing homes. Local communities could get grants to make it easier for builders by offering pre-reviewed housing designs, streamlining construction or housing. The Department of Housing and Urban Development would also develop best-practices for zoning guidelines.
Definitions around manufactured and modular housing would be updated to encourage more factory-built homes, which can be constructed in a fraction of the time compared to more traditional house-building methods.
Community banks would also get a boost through the bill. One change would allow banks to take more custodial and reciprocal deposits, which could help banks provide more mortgages for potential homeowners. Other changes would make it easier to start new banks and change how the FDIC looks at banking mergers.
If we just had more megabanks.
How do they intend to work around the fact that local governments, especially where demand is the highest, are the ones imposing all the regulations that make “affordability” worse?
Pretend that the local restrictions lower costs when they do the opposite.
Completely. Pointless. Whoever taught writers that the end of a season should reset everything plotwise to the status quo ante needs to be shot. This one was perhaps more egregious in being skippable than “The Boys,”
I know nothing about the game, so it was just mindless entertainment for me. Good music, cool sets, a chirpy heroine. I did not feel insulted by it, as I did by The Boys. There was definitely not much in the way of resolution at the end.
“A Portland real estate agent and anti-ICE activist has been reported to police after she was caught on viral video allegedly firing an airsoft gun from her car at a group of live streamers outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility.
On Feb. 6, around 10:30 p.m., Isis Symone Irving, 28, allegedly fired nearly 20 BB pellets from a moving vehicle as she drove past a group of pro-Trump live streamers near the ICE building in Portland….
Witnesses allege Irving first drove past the group earlier in the evening, stopping her white Lexus sedan to shout insults. “She was yelling, ‘You Nazis, you fascists, f—k ICE,’” Allen said.”
https://thepostmillennial.com/andy-ngo-reports-portland-anti-ice-activist-caught-on-video-firing-look-alike-gun-at-live-streamers-from-moving-car
At least she didn’t call anyone a “house nigger” five times.
In Portland that’s probably good marketing for her.
BB guns and airsoft guns are not the same thing.
But if anyone points either one at you, you likely have a solid case for a deadly threat, where the use of deadly force in self defense would be legal and appropriate.
But it had a tiny red tip on the barrel!
-MSM
Whycome a real estate agent with a Lexus owns an airsoft gun?
If she was there earlier in a conspicuous vehicle, and then came back later with an airsoft gun, I would have been hard pressed to convict the protesters if they had responded with actual gunfire.

That BMW screw link is perfect. In the ’70s, when the cars were actually worth owning, you could just about dismantle and rebuild a BMW with a 10, a 13, a 17 and a 19mm wrench.
I liked the toolkit on the trunk lid.
then you drove and it slid off onto the driveway/

EVs! Everybody wanted them.. The governments using climate change as a tool to drastically increase the price of energy in the western world told us so…
In no small part because they committed to GM for a certain volume of EVs that they will no longer be purchasing and still have to pay for.

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who supported the bill, warned the legislation wouldn’t be effective if housing programs remain underfunded.
“Policy reforms alone are not enough,” Waters said. “These programs must be funded if they are going to work.”
She’s talking about the housing bill in this case, but I think we can all agree unlimited federal funding with no oversight will make any program a success.

“A Kentucky judge sparked outrage after slashing in half a jury’s recommended 65-year sentence for a convicted felon who robbed, kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman.
Jefferson County Judge Tracy Davis reduced the sentence of Christopher Thompson on Feb. 2 despite the jury’s recommendation….
“I don’t have sympathy for you, the victim, the victim’s family,” Thompson told the judge…
A Kentucky jury convicted Thompson in December of abducting a woman he did not know in 2023, forcing her to perform oral sex, robbing her and later sodomizing her again before releasing her….
Thompson’s criminal history tells a different story as his rap sheet includes assault, theft, robbery, truancy, in addition to convictions for felony gun possession, fleeing police, probation violations and additional violent offenses.
According to Wave 3, Thompson is also facing a pending charge for assaulting a corrections officer.
Despite that record, Davis insisted Thompson was not beyond rehabilitation.
“This court does not believe that Mr. Thompson, if given the resources that he can get while incarcerated, is beyond being rehabilitated,” Davis added.”
