We have now reached the end of the current cycle, like the Mayan Calendar in 2012. So now the world will end and next week we start over with episode 1. Get ready to get cucked.
The Hat and The Hair Animated: Rerun 102
About The Author
CPRM
Organic troll farmer.

Do we have a rerun of a rerun, or am I imagining more things? I don’t think I am, but I don’t think many things.
(And the things I do think, I perpetually overthink. Which, I don’t think is wise. Or helpful. No snark: Today, I told my shrink what I think I think.)
Elon’s gonna buy Mars and put cashews in ’em.
Yer nuts!
4×20…I will probably miss Honey Harvest this year…I am scattering my Dad’s ashes in Amsterdam.
I swear by Zeus, Ares and Hercules, I will get up there again, my brother from 40 years earlier.
Hope you can make it this year, the calendar is not always our friend. Be good to see you again.
Cubs AT Washington, yeah? Spectator behind home plate has got a Red Hat on:
“TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING” <– 70s white man, orange sunglasses. Make of that what thou wilt.
wilst
/pedant
Doing Ted/S job for him
/I asked Gemini and it thinks you’re wrong. I also thought about wilst. So make of that what you will, good sir.
All these distraction rockets! Trump’s red hat still looms! A row behind and to that dude’s left, there are two gals with “FOWL PLAY” on their neon yellow shirts, and they’re wearing chicken hats. College – mid 20s, I’d wager. No context.
Looks like I’m doing all the noggin tappin’ ’round here. The hat conspiracies continue.
Ugh I could be wrong as impossible as that seems.
Wiktionary suggests “wilt” or “willst” with a double L.
Google AI: Thou wilt is an archaic English phrase meaning “you will” or “you want.” It consists of thou, the informal singular subject pronoun for “you,” and wilt, the second-person singular present tense form of the verb “will.”
Evan looks correct to me. Agree or disagree as thou wilt.
Déja vu.
Later on it will be deja vu all over again.
When you get to the fork in the road, take it.
Don’t use it for eating until you wash it though.

Tipsy…ok, drunk, in French pinot, on the Zoom…
ON French pinot, IN the Zoom. Sheesh.
It’s okay, you admitted to being drunk.
Admitted? Boasted!
I gave up, nobody there after an hour… try again Friday night.
Ah, a shame – just saw this and could have joined. Won’t be around on Friday.
Sorry Swiss.
I will jump on to see you Friday. And get drunk with you if you desire.
In is only appropriate for Malmsey, never Pinot.
Larry David’s Pursuit of Unhappiness Ep 2: Yikes. Not clever, poorly acted, and quickly gets silly. Washington is leaving office and David’s character says it should be law that the Prez has to leave after two terms tops. Explaining the what-ifs to the gathered crowd, he describes what the Left ‘thinks’ occurred on J6 and the media being silenced and no one will be allowed to criticize the president and moving troops into the cities and more you can easily fill in yourselves. (Make of that what ye will.)
Even Mom agrees the sketches need harsh trimming. *shrug*
Oh, a way-overlong joke about “squaws” and whether or not you can say that. Teepee’s okay and wampum is in a gray area. That was very strange. Lots of ‘you can’t say that.’ Huh. Much less laughing from them. Not sure if she’ll recruit us after tomorrow’s Cubs game. We shall see.
Surprised? The guy spent half a season of “Curb” calling Vindman a great American hero
It wasn’t a laugh line?
If you want to twist a feminist into a pretzel, ask her if she’s OK with a woman who would abort a baby based on race. Like, she knows the father is black and she doesn’t want to have a black man’s child.
I’m actually really curious and mildly excited to try this one the next time I argue over the abortions. Let’s see which tenet of progressivism wins! Anti-racism versus muh abortions!
I did steal this one from a guy on social media. Have to give credit for a First of that caliber.
Not the first time you’ve stolen.
For those who missed the eclipse
LOL
Happy national Filet Mignon day, all you bots!

Why does the site discriminate against me?
Good morning, Sean, U, Ted’S., and R.J.!
I got caught in an infinite Captcha loop trying to access the site on my phone a few minutes ago. I was beginning to doubt my own humanity. 😟
Ninja Cat wouldn’t have had that problem.
Indeed. He is secure in his felinity.
How are you this morning, Ted’S.?
Morning, GT.
some spoor of madness has overtaken me as I started actual workday work before the start of the workday.
Stop that!
🥺
How are you this morning?
(I had to stop I needed information from someone else who won’t start for hours yet)
I’m okay. Ninja Cat is on my lap, but I think I’ll still have to leave for work later anyway, darn it. How are you?
I weighed in heavier this morning, but such is the short term variability of such things. Despite getting an early start, I’m not much in the mood for work today, just want to get it over with.
Not much exciting going on here.
The Monocle update seems to have solved my captcha problem. I haven’t had to identify any motorcycles since I installed it.
Good to hear.
I still get an occasional challenge if I switch devices – it may be dinging me for multiple user-agents from a single IP. Not much I can do about that.
When I called it a Yamaha Indian, the computer just gave me a pitying look.
I don’t use Monocle. I still got the captcha this morning.
@Ted – have you tried not being a Robot?
Am I the only one who skips a book if the Author’s name is given more space on the cover than the title?
Size queen.
I don’t know how book marketing works. Perhaps it drives more sales than it drives away.
I don’t know how book marketing works. Else I would have better sales.
Depends on the author I would imagine. Stephen King would work as a test of that theory. Is his name bigger than the title? Yes. It usually is.
It was seeing his books when I was little and realizing I couldn’t read any of the titles, but most of the cover space was filled with his name. I disliked not being able to tell which book was which and it made me disregard any book where the title was not pride of place.
IF the author is someone people buy on name recognition alone, like Stephen King, then of course they put that in bigger font, along with a more prominent position. But, if it is written with a “helper” or “in the world of” then they feature that, like one of the new Dune attrocities.
Some titles, authors and series pay for literary fiction which is much more prestigious, but doesn’t make nearly as much money.
That is what I do not understand.
If you can’t clearly differentiate the title, how do you know you don’t already own that work? If I can’t read the title while moving down the shelf, I’m not likely to pick it up.
The number of authors whose works I’d buy on their name alone could be counted on the fingers of a particularly inept machinist.
Why are people so odd?
I buy mainly by recommendation or author. I can’t remember the last time I bought a book in a bookstore, anyway.
I was just in one two weeks ago.
I bought two books.
My brother was _just_ talking about visiting that area, Sean – he went to ESU and hasn’t been back in years.
If you walk into a bookstore, or go on Amazon or any other online book store, the new Stephen King will be prominently displayed, so you know it is the new one, because that is the other half of marketing: getting it into the readers hand. There are a ton of problems with the book industry right now, and back catalog and smaller profile authors are one of them, but blockbuster marketing is one thing they do best.
Think of it like a Star War movie. Most people would skip past a random movie called The Mandalorian, not knowing what it is about or even how to pronounce it. But, put Star War next to the title, and everyone knows, for the most part, what they are getting into.
@slumbrew
We had a great time.
@ZWAK – the back catalog is where I live. I skip over the big “we’re pushing this” displays and pages. The fact that it’s being pushed makes me ignore it. Especially since they tend to push books not worth reading.
For Jamie
Just put that video on repeat and watch it for four hours to get the full effect.
Who doesn’t love trains?
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/40045512/bomb-german-train-track-drone/
Why is there a fleet of Ukrainian planes in Germany?
Bringing aur cargo back to Ukraine?
How did workers bring down a military drone?
I expect there are Ukrainian cargo planes in Germany to fly cargo to Ukraine.
Feels incredibly staged.
GM 🙂
Is this thing on?
I assume they’re still having issues with scheduled post actually posting.
Stupid Captcha thinks overpasses and causeways are “bridges.”
An overpass is a bridge. It is a type of bridge built to cross another road.
We can debate whether or not a causeway bridges the water it obstructs when built.
To clarify my position – A causeway is not a bridge. An overpass, however is a bridge. Often a beam bridge
It’s a viaduct.
Ted, you may be shocked to learn this but a viaduct is a bridge.
Did I say viaducts aren’t bridges?
Beau and Jeff are Bridges, too.
Viaducts aren’t bridges, just like pipes aren’t tunnels.
Next thing you know, people will be saying hot dogs are sandwiches.
Okay, RC – what trait makes them not bridges?
That would be an excellent Connections category – Beau, Jeff, Brooklyn, Chesapeake Bay.
Also that scooters and mopeds are motorcycles.
I see it as practice in turning my brain off – good for learning to talk to management…
“League general managers and presidents met on Wednesday as part of an anti-hate task force to discuss the subject of athlete eligibility amid the transgender debate.
Despite the recent uproar over transgender athletes, the league’s powers-that-be determined that there were no issues with its current eligibility criteria, suggesting that no immediate changes would be made.
The league announced following the meeting that it had ruled that there were ‘no immediate eligibility matters affecting’ the WNBA at this time.”

Yeah, while everybody is high-fiving over the retired NBA players filing for the WNBA draft to own the wokists, all the WNBA has to do is ignore them. If nobody drafts them, then nothing happens and nothing will change.
It’s all so tiresome. Shut down the WNBA for lack of viewership/attendence.
They don’t make money for the NBA and need to be laid off.
We’ve seen how well ignoring the Progressives has worked. There’s no reason to believe it won’t work as well when the based types start adopting wokeist tactics.
And now I’m getting robot checks again.
