Still haven’t recovered from the travel nonsense.
Today, Leo gets a boost from Mars, which is a synergistic pairing. Tomorrow has an annoyingly ambiguous sign. It could mean your house catches some stray bullets, or it could be an auspicious time to do plumbing work. Wednesday is an outstanding time romance-wise (Venus, the Moon and Mercury!) and the aforementioned mercury (magic, luck) enters Scorpio (ruler of the genitals), so take advantage of that. The day after that brings “news of war” or potentially a change in an ongoing war, which should result in news about said war so it’s all one happy closed circle. Saturday brings a screeching halt to all the happy fun times from earlier in the week as Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio, the significance of which has already been explained.
This is one of the worst draws I’ve seen in a long time. Wear a helmet.
Libra: 4 of Coins – Holding on to that which one has, gift, legacy, inheritance.
Scorpio: The Sun reversed – The slowing, ending or reversal of growth, happiness or luck.
Sagittarius: Strength reversed – Despotism, abuse of power, weakness, discord, disgrace.
Capricorn: 7 of Cups – Lies, bad faith, achievement reversed, sales pitches.
Aquarius: 7 of Swords – Design, attempt, wish, hope, confidence, also quarrelling, a plan that may fail, annoyance, unnoticed risks.
Pisces: The Hierophant – Marriage, alliance, captivity, servitude, mercy and goodness, inspiration.
Aries: Death – End, mortality, destruction, corruption.
Taurus: 3 of Swords – Removal, absence, delay, division, rupture, dispersion, grief, heartbreak.
Gemini: The Chariot – Succor, providence, war, triumph, presumption, vengeance, trouble.
Cancer: The Tower – Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin, unforeseen catastrophe.
Leo: Judgement reversed – Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity, deliberation, decision, sentence.
Virgo: 2 of Cups reversed – Broken promises, acts contrary to one’s nature, warranted punishment.

I don’t know about DEG but this is more than sufficiently shitty for both sides of house Imprudent.
It’s sufficiently shitty enough that I feel I got my money’s worth.
Can we say it’s “growth” and that it means I’ll lose some weight?
“ Cancer: The Tower – Misery, distress, indigence, adversity, calamity, disgrace, deception, ruin, unforeseen catastrophe.”
I’ve got your tower, right here…
🍆
Sagittarius: Strength reversed – Despotism, abuse of power, weakness, discord, disgrace.
KNEEL BEFORE ZOD
Zod was actually complaining that he was early, as his friend Neal was supposed to be there first.
Off to MIL who…has been so cold with the death of her husband that is is near driving Mrs OBE insane.
Making her a seafood late lunch/early dinner.
A mix of “I have mac-gen but eye doctor said I have 20/20 vision” and “oh I hurt so much but I’ll drive to Louisville”.
Its a struggle. Mrs OBE is only child whereas with my parents we get to spread it among 6 of us.
My first lap dance was in Montreal to Garbage’s #1 Crush.
Club Super Sexxx?
You gave or recieved?
“Leo: Judgement reversed – Weakness, pusillanimity, simplicity, deliberation, decision, sentence.”
But what is the length of the sentence? Probation, imprisonment, execution? And if the last what in what form?
OK, then.
Thinking about going to the 1:45 showing of Resident Evil today.
I have heard not great things about the quality. Caveat – these were random opinions.
I’ve seen good reviews online. 🤷🏼♂️
I’ve heard it’s decent but doesn’t really have anything to do with RE outside a few Easter Eggs. Basically skin suited the IP for fun and profit.
“reboot”
No idea this existed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Taurus: 3 of Swords – Removal, absence, delay, division, rupture, dispersion, grief, heartbreak.
One must first have a heart to feel grief or heartbreak.
… checkmate.
I luv Garbage.
Way back when, we were at a family gathering.
One of my young nieces was browsing through my CD travel case: “You like Garbarge ?!?!” “Why yes I do. It’s a perfect mix of 60’s pop music and GenX anxieties” She responded with totally confused look on her face. Oh, well.
They have some great stuff.
I only know “I’m Only Happy When It Rains,” perhaps their only radio hit. A respected singer and bandmate of mine, however, was shockingly into them, and he usually veered towards heavy metal.
Interesting man, Matt R., that bandmate. A professor, eventually, he fell in love with an Irish chick in Korea and they are married and in proper Ireland. (Don’t know where, but the Republic of Ireland.) His Korean wasn’t much, IIRC, but he decided to learn Gaelic and he’s now fluent, so I’ve heard. (I think he’s professoring in Ireland, but could be wrong.)

#1 Crush
Slum
I forgot about Crush. Awesome song.
Timing is everything in life:
Garbage discovered Shirley Manson after guitarist Steve Marker watched her band Angelfish perform their song “Suffocate Me” on MTV’s late-night show 120 Minutes in 1993.
Impressed by her unique vocal style, Marker alerted bandmates Butch Vig and Duke Erikson, who tracked down Manson in Scotland and invited her to Madison, Wisconsin, for an audition.
. . .
The music video aired only a single time on MTV’s alternative program 120 Minutes on September 12, 1993. This singular broadcast was pivotal, as it was viewed by Garbage co-founder Steve Marker, who subsequently recruited vocalist Shirley Manson for the band Garbage.
Back when MTV was decent I like 120 minutes. For some reason I want to say it was Kurt Loder as presenter.
Also good was “Cutting Edge” the IRS Records sponsored show.
“An eyeball in a highball”
Taurus: 3 of Swords – Removal, absence, delay, division, rupture, dispersion, grief, heartbreak.

Yeah, ya see how I always reverse this shit? Well. Mostly! In six days, I’m removing the absence of (paid) work from my life, a necessary diversion unnecessarily delayed by the “glacial” background check it required. This will lead to the di$per$al of funds, leaving me heartbroken because I won’t be tangled in ‘out ‘o work’ grief. (That grief is now employed by knowing the Cubs may be screwed playing the Padres 3 in their yard. Without our two best pitchers all year, it’s remarkable we got this far. We can hit.)
How ’bout ‘dem apples?
For those of you who want to geek out on the Manchester City stuff, Price of Football did an initial dive. Somewhere in the second half, there’s an interesting discussion about the complications of imposing a massive points deduction this season. The two guys are solidly on the left but I don’t recall it coming into this episode. I know finances of football sounds boring, but these guys are pretty good. One’s a comedian and a Crystal Palace fan, the other’s a university prof in Football Finance and a Brighton fan. This is a youtube link, but the audio podcast is on Spotify, Apple podcasts, etc.: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YFowqhjRpA
