The Browns are making everybody in Cleveland happy. The Rays are making everyone there sad. The Steelers won an ugly game and are tied with the Browns and Ravens for first in the division. The Chargers stink and Harbaugh may be looking for a new job soon. Sadly for him he’s no longer welcome in the NCAA. This wasn’t about gender, you idiots who are trying to make it about gender. But the struggle sessions will happen anyway. And across the pond, ManUre continue to suck. Hopefully Spurs lose today and stay in the basement. That’s it for sports so I’m moving on.

“You can’t quit now. I’ll need somebody to blame.” That’s after he blamed Trump, by the way. What a chump. A whiff of grapeshot would probably settle things down. RETVRN!

He appears to be correct. And he should be free to do so, but not on our dime anymore. Let Europe step up if they want to fund this meat grinder.

This is not surprising. Not one bit.

Make it happen! For several reasons.

I’ll tell you why: Because she’s a fucking idiot.

This is awful. I wonder if the EU will step up or simply complain that the US isn’t funding everything in the world.

I guess they don’t want the cartels to lose their power. The top officials know who butters their bread.

Did they learn a valuable lesson? Hopefully. Either way, it’s a damn shame.

And we still don’t know what happened. I guess the Canadian government doesn’t want anybody to know.

Who gets into a fight in a corn maze? Jeez. Relax, people.

Going with some new music today. Well, new for me. And I think it’s pretty good. Hopefully they make it big. Enjoy them both.

And enjoy this lovely Monday, dear friends.

impose “very limited” and “localized” curfews in cities to prevent more rioting and looting

lol “Limited” and “localized” to whom and to where, I wonder?

    • AlexinCT

I know these leftards always fall back on the excuse that they are not evil, just super inept, but this could be stopped in a single 24 hr cycle. As napoleon pointed out back when, you immediately hang a bunch of the troublemakers, publicly, and that shit stops immediately.

    • (((Jarflax

Yes, making it illegal to be out will definitely stop the people committing assault, theft and arson.

Been arguing with my lib sibling. it is not just that they move on from the lie. They find something – anything – to hang on and justify their belief. Immaterial shit, made up assumptions, whatever. But they explain it away as their truth, and nothing you say can dissuade them from that belief. Unfortunately, the number needing to be shot is probably in the five figures. Maybe six. I don’t know if the West has the stones to do the ethnic cleansing necessary to save itself.

      • UnCivilServant

Shoot seven figures worth, just to be sure. And sterilize the rest.

      • AlexinCT

Martial law. Nationwide curfew. Anyone on the streets during the curfew is shot on sight. Period. Man, woman or child.

Any public gatherings above a certain size are subject to arrest of all concerned, or being shot on sight.

This will be over within a few days if some pretty obvious measures are taken.

From there, we can move on to mass remigration and decolonization of France. And it should be called “decolonization”.

A curfew. Jeebus that is lame. And from what I have seen, they are rioting in broad daylight. WTF is a curfew going to accomplish.

    • UnCivilServant

A curfew was supposed to be the perforated lid which let your embers smolder without going out or using up all your fuel over night so you can stoke the fire back up in the morning.

So I don’t think it’d do much with regards to burning cities. Won’t find a curfew big enough for that.

Border czar Tom Homan says there’s ‘strong’ evidence that could lead to Ilhan Omar’s deportation as Obama comes to defense of congresswoman

Speaking of people with a sketchy claim to citizenship. It was conclusively shown that the Adobe document released as a scan of his birth certificate was massively doctored, and the original has been kept locked up in a safe in Hawaii so no one can inspect it. Nothing to see there.

    • rhywun

Everything around that empty suit is and always was so fucking sketchy but everybody was dazzled by how cocoa-colored and articulate he was to the point where nobody was allowed to question how manufactured his rise was.

Too bad the customs entry forms for his mother’s return to the U.S. after/before his birth no longer exist.
I assume they were destroyed long before Obama rose to prominence. One of the downsides of having prolific ancestors who came to New Amsterdam in 1630s is that my DNA is polluted with all sorts of interesting rogues. Personal happiness report:

Last weekend was two almost painfully beautiful days, each with a shooting match. Sunday’s was a format change to encourage speed wherein all Ds were scored as Cs and most of the targets were within 10 yards. I apparently can’t shoot fast splits, but can shoot on the move and running backwards to an extent that let me finish in the top quarter. The French pension system is a direct transfer system: current contributions by workers are paid out directly to fund today’s retirees, rather than being saved into a fund.

“Contrib PC” is a transfer from the education ministry into the bank account that pays out the pensions of retired civil servants. The expense is categorised in the French budget as spending on education, but is actually going to today’s retirees.

In August, Lattanzio’s take-home pay was €2,662.27. The direct contribution to pensions by his employer – the French education ministry – was €2,896.08. An additional €351.63 was also deducted from his pay for pensions as well.

Lattanzio published an analysis comparing the French budget of 2006 to that of 2026 and concluded that although spending on education appeared to have risen over time, in fact the vast majority of the increase was to pay for pension payments to retired civil servants.

    https://www.irishtimes.com/world/europe/2026/10/16/a-bombshell-french-teachers-spot-something-on-payslips-which-reveals-scale-of-funding-crisis/

    Trust the process

California has become the poster child for long results times because of both those factors: a bevy of competitive congressional districts, which help determine the balance of power in the U.S. House, and a vote count that’s been among the slowest in the nation.

Add in that President Trump, the most prominent purveyor of election misinformation in the country, has long targeted the liberal California, and experts see a perfect storm for false voting narratives.

“It’s progressive, it likes mail ballots, it gets [postmarked] mail ballots after Election Day,” Richer said. “It just all adds up to a fairly incendiary situation.”

Charles Stewart, an elections expert at MIT, put it more simply.

“California just has a big target on its back,” said Stewart.

All you Doubting Adolphs need to just sit quietly with your hands in your lap and wait for the official election results. And believe them.

The strikes came as tensions between Kyiv and Washington deepened, with U.S. President Donald Trump criticizing Kyiv’s attacks on Russian oil infrastructure and the prospect of further U.S. sanctions against Moscow still uncertain.

Trump said Sunday that he decided to hold off on implementing new sanctions on Russia because he doesn’t “want to do anything that will drive, foolishly, Russia away from the bargaining table.”

    ——-

Trump also lashed out at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has been critical of Trump’s recent outreach to Putin, for launching strikes on Russian energy infrastructure during the conflict, claiming Zelenskyy “doesn’t want to end this war.”

At this point, if Trump had Zelenskyyyyy dumped off in Putin’s driveway in a burlap sack wrapped in chains I’d be okay with it.

Zelensky does not want an end to this war. His actions sure as hell say so.

BTW, we should consider that Trumps move to provide temporary relief from sanctions on natural gas & oil for Russia might just give Putin the out he needs to go back to his oligarchs and declare he has won enough, to call off the war. Before that he had nothing. The cost to Russia was to high, and nothing of value was gained. That is why Zelensky is chimping out.

Putin could stop the war today too. Hell, he could have tried not starting it.

There is a lot of blame to go around and the US is certainly in the mix.

I am sure he should not have started it, but then again, the Obama 3.0 admin had their front man tell him they would not be bothered if all it was was something small. And the Newland agenda in Ukraine sure didn’t help keep Putin away. One thing is sure. Under a Trump presidency he would not have dared.

If the Democrats win a majority in Congress will they take it as a mandate to spend the next two years trying to eject Mad King Donald from the White House?

Let’s see. Trump is removed. Vance becomes president. Then gets to run as the incumbent — for two full terms as I recall — although I am not certain of that.
