IFLA: The “Remember” Edition of the Horoscope for the Week of November 1

by | Nov 1, 2026 | IFLA | 25 comments

When the month begins on a Sunday (like today) that means there’s a Friday the thirteenth in the schedule, but that’s not until next week (also fun fact: this Friday the thirteenth is remarkably lucky). This week we have to deal with the Triple-Retrograde status of the skies, including our ol’ pal Mercury. Today in particular should be a bit off. Generally this Triple-Retrograde has diffuse, non-targeted effects, but that just makes specific warnings hard to find. Thursday is of particular note, both as a good day to do home remodeling, and as a warning against “accidental” home remodeling. The next day (possibly because of the aforementioned remodeling) is a time of TREMENDOUS romantic possibility or instability, depending on how you look at it. There will never be a better time to mention that one thing you want to try, nor a more likely day for rocking the relationship boat to capsize it completely. Looking closer at this, my initial tying the sign isn’t actually justified so making passes at hotties out of your league has an excellent chance of working in your favor and/or sending you to the hospital and/or prison. Being on a Friday, the breeze it’s blowing more toward the “get lucky” side… but obviously that doesn’t necessarily say anything about what happens after.

Scorpio: Page of Cups – News, message; application, reflection, meditation. The boring aspects of student life.

Sagittarius: 2 of Wands – Success causes its own problems, or that difficulties are the inevitable result of the process of gaining success.

Capricorn: 2 of Cups reversed – Betrayal, disloyalty with the emphasis on the more serious or formalizes partnerships/agreements.

Aquarius: Justice reversed – Injustice, also getting hammered for something and you actually deserved it.

Pisces: Queen of Swords – Widowhood, female sadness and embarrassment, absence, sterility, mourning, privation, separation.

Aries: 10 of Wands – Oppression, particularly for your achievements or by those achievements.

Taurus: The Devil reversed –  Evil, fatality, weakness, pettiness, blindness.

Gemini: 8 of Wands reversed – Jealousy, arguments, spite.

Cancer: 7 of Coins reversed – Investments going badly, mismanagement.

Leo: King of Cups – The good qualities of someone who pontificates for a living.

Virgo: King of Swords – The good qualities of someone who uses violence for a living.

So, like a Cornell type situation?

Believe there are still prescribed burns. It’s been dry with not much rain this fall so far. Most people burn from piles, either gathered or leftover slash, though. Cover and can burn anytime during burn season. I didn’t clear much brush this summer so mine is still empty since May’s fire.

This fire is in the wood stove.

Dog is already passed out in contentment.

First year using propane, except for one winter about 5 years ago. Kinda nice waking up to a warm house. I won’t have to worry about how far the wood

shed has moved from the house.

Yeah the property bill hasent arrived yet. And those bastards don’t have any good qualities.

Ours has. Still won’t stop those fuckers from voting for more taxes, either directly or candidates who will raise them.

Can’t wait for four more years of Tina. She can quit pretending to be an moderate after Tuesday. Must have been quite a strain to keep it up for the past year.
