My suspicion is that the liars have to stop pretending team blue has not destroyed everything and turned off everyone doing so, in order to make sure they are not so far from the actual results that people catch on to the game. I actually got called by Quinnipiac last night on my land line to poll me… The questions were heavily rigged bull, but you could spot and avoid the baloney to help you pick the choice they wanted. Of course, the interview ended with the young lady doing the questions asking me about my race – I told her I belonged to the human race – and then for how I identified. She didn’t like it when I told her I identified as her daddy and that I wanted to spank her for being a bad girl.

Massad Ayoob discussed several cases in an interview I listened too maybe 8 years ago. I recall him definitely mentioning NY self defense victims being charged with weapons violations (I think discharge of firearm in city limits, etc) even when the self defense usage was found justified. I mean really the height of absurdity type stuff. Although he said those types of charges for the self-defense victim are dwindling.
He discussed one case in particular, I think it was NY, where a mechanic was charged with murder for killing a thief breaking into his shop overnight. Apparently, the thief had broken in several times so the mechanic decided to sleep there at night with a shotgun. That was viewed as failing his duty to retreat. Of course, the 911 recording of the mechanic saying “I got him, I got him, I finally got the son of a bitch” didn’t help either.
The Bodega incident might not be a great example. I seem to remember that a number of authorities on 2A and self-defense law had some doubts about that one. I’ll have to dig through YouTube this evening…

Giving them the entire benefit of the doubt that their “lease” isn’t complete made up bullpucky, I think calling them “squatters” (until that’s established) is a little much. Entirely possible they’re also proceeding from good faith and someone at the back got confused and thought they could lease the property when a different part of the bank was selling it. Definitely needs to be sorted out, and my sympathies for the new owners — but it isn’t quite the “Should show up with sheriffs and/or shotguns” that the headlines implies.
Banks don’t tend to lease out foreclosed properties that they are selling. The property management business is a royal pain, and if they’re already moving it off the books, they’re not going to wade into that morass.
I suspect the lease is a fraud either by the person who got foreclosed upon or by the squatters. Either way, it doesn’t have any enforcable value. It is definately a forcable eviction situation.

Gamy tasting. Some people don’t mind it, but some people hate it because it tastes different than the store bought mass produced stuff.
They are dryer and gamier. Can be compensated somewhat with steam during smoking/cooking and nice herbs. Take all them pellets out if you don’t use a slug. They’s crunchy.
Wild turkey basics:
Shoot them in the head/neck. Between the feathers and the meat, shooting them anywhere else is likely to not work. I’ve seen pellets at range (30 odd yards) literally bounce off. If you shoot them in the body with anything other than birdshot, you’re likely to not have much meat left.
Take the breast meat, toss the rest. The dark meat is nearly inedible.
Brine the breast meat, and cook it like normal. It’s very similar to domestic turkey, maybe a hair drier?
I don’t think a hair drier will get hot enough to make sure the meat is cooked all the way through.

While the 4,500 investors from 14 regions, who each have over $1 million worth of assets, surveyed by the Swiss bank might be thinking about how to divide their money and investments, in many cases there isn’t a concrete plan.
“Even after the harsh realities of the pandemic, many investors simply aren’t taking the actions necessary to ensure successful wealth transfer,” the research dated Oct. 19 found.
