Regarding NLCS Game 7 today:  One thing I noticed over the series are the number of people in the sports press that seem to believe thousands of Phillies fans paid a thousands of dollars to fly to Phoenix on less than a day’s notice to attend a ballgame and fly back the same day.  While I am sure such fans with the income for such frivolous things exist, the obvious explanation is lost on them:  they moved to the local area like damn near everyone in the state.

I’m done, whatever happens the loser is MLB’s TV revenue.

What Milei is up against

The big news over the weekend is the Argentine Election.  Western corporate media is reporting this as an “upset” of sorts but its worth noting failing to upend a century of the Peronist version of national socialism in a single election isn’t an upset for the other side.  NY Times also seems to conflate AnCaps with Trump for some reason and are citing Milei’s honest assessment of shitlibs as openly loathing shitlibbery as the reason he did not win as projected.  I suppose that criticism while absolutely true, might be fair.

Elsewhere there is not one, but two hurricanes!

Venezuelans are the single largest nationality in border crossings.  At least its not Hamas.

I assume Mexico’s Central Bank is as trustworthy as any other.

For the thousandth time….no.  US gunmakers are not responsible for any violence in Mexico, you dumbfucks.

In any other circumstance, this might be a country song.
