This had been bothering me lately. While the discovery of the Harappan civilization is relatively recent, there has now been plenty of time to thoroughly explore these sites, and even make them tourist destinations, yet that hasn’t occurred.
There’s all sorts interesting questions left about these people but somehow no effort that has been made aware of to interested lay audiences. What’s the hold up?
I’m regards the detailed planning of sites, this never happens without a strict hierarchy, which means somebody in charge. In modern India, homes with courtyards are common for the well to do. And even their servants might live there with the master of the household.

Random night thought: For a 4-bit key, the keyspace is 2^4 = 16, but only 6 of those keys contain an equal number of 0s and 1s. From that, I can infer that for a key with n-bits, the number of keys with an equal number of 0s and 1s approaches the square root of 2^n for large values of n. I’m still working on a proof for that.
The Germans had a cipher machine called the Lorentz with 502 cams. Each cam had 2 possible positions giving a keyspace of 2^502. In practice, they found that a secure key had an equal mix of cams in either position.
