I’m dealing with a contractor today, who says someone else in my company said they were negotiating a contract amendment that absolves them from participating in audits.

I need to burn a few bridges in Wisconsin so…there will be no intro…

¡enlaces!

Mexico thinks this is a democracy.

I assume this is a cartel front.

OMGYHGTBSMWTFO (Oh my god you have got to be shitting me what the fuck, over?)

Okay, but how does that compare to Alex Jones being the guest on The Joe Rogan Experience?

I can hate on ICE with the best of them, but maybe not try driving an SUV into agents and they won’t launch tear gas into the crowd…or something much worse?

Um…well…¡VIVA LA LIBERTAD, CARAJO!

Relax, I’m not going to throw Bob Dylan at you. I would never do that, directly.

Now, It’s been a while since the Cubans tried to send genocidal terror troops anywhere. Gaza does that on the regular. An oil embargo is not even in the same ballpark as self-defense against Islamists.

    • Drake

Are Cuban troops still in Angola? I haven’t thought about that in decades.

Mexico thinks this is a democracy.

Wow that’s some chutzpah right there.

Let’s send our ambassador Steve Smith to straighten them out.

Mexico has begun filing criminal complaints with state prosecutors in the United States

    What’s Mexican for “chutzpah”?

maybe not try driving an SUV into agents

I think rather instead that the Guardian is fully supportive of Antifa’s efforts at provoking further responses from immigration law enforcement.

Four Democratic members of U.S. Congress who traveled to Cuba this weekend described the energy embargo imposed on the island by U.S. President Donald Trump as turning the island into a “silent Gaza.”

Notwithstanding that the article calls U.S. sanctions both an embargo and a blockade (it is neither), members of Congress, even Democrats, used to be Chamber-of-Commerce types who at least looked good in a suit, whatever their kooky vote-buying ideologies were. These four look like the addled geriatrics that stand on street corners chanting about “muh fascism” during “No Kings” protests.

Did they age out of Antifa or something?

    • rhywun

I don’t know but they must be asking themselves why should Ro Khanna get all the attention for his performative “foreign policy” larping?

      • Fourscore

He reminds us that one should always wear a suit when visiting Gaza. The California suntan isn’t just enough, well dressed is important, too.

      • Raven Nation

His feed about being stopped in Gaza popped up on my social media. It led with “I’m a member of Congress..” but the Israelis stopped me anyway. Apart from the idiocy that being a congress critter in another country gives you some kind of privilege, I’m fascinated by way some progs hate America but still want American privilege.

And, I can’t wait for all my prog friends who thought Trump should be tried for treason for talking to Putin to demand these Dems get arrested.

      • Evan from Evansville

“I’m fascinated by way some progs hate America but still want American privilege.”

They crave their m̵o̵r̵a̵l̵ national superiority. And wealth privilege. They’re childish cunts. (No, not “counts,” autocork.)

    Payday!

“Three years ago, a unanimous nine-person jury found President Trump liable for sexually assaulting and defaming E. Jean Carroll,” Carroll’s attorney Roberta Kaplan said in a statement to NPR. “Today, we are pleased to report that she has received the damages payment the jury awarded her as a result of that verdict.”

Party down. Put it all on red.

    • rhywun

I still don’t understand how that works.

How can you be “liable” for something that cannot even be proved to have happened?

      • Rat on a train

The same way a state judge can declare you guilty of a federal crime.

      • The Other Kevin

The standard of proof is different, just like OJ’s trial.

TOO LOCAL NEWS: Bridge protests again

Two bridge captains with the New Hampshire Bridge Brigade for Democracy were given court summons under RSA 236:88 “Advertising Devices Within Highway Rights-of-Way” at Exit 6 in Nashua by Nashua Police on Friday, July 10.

The day that group did their little protest I was coming home from the gym. Folks on the highway were slowing down at that bridge. Urgh.

  17. The Late P Brooks

In a 2019 memoir, Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in the dressing room of a Manhattan department store in 1996. After she leveled that charge, Trump denied the claim, said he’d never met Carroll, and described her as a liar motivated by ulterior goals. Carroll then filed a lawsuit against Trump accusing him of defamation.

What was that about being a serious country?

    • bacon-magic

      I’m still disgusted by this.

      • Evan from Evansville

And no one gives a shit. (<– Normies.) Why? Cuz Old Media refuses to. And no one cares about that, neither. That is what infuriates me most. It's mostly why I'm an optimistic Black Pill dude. (Big Event needed to change anything, now.)

Their religion tamps the anger they'd normally feel. Being lied to so hard that they sent a walking corpse to debate Trump? ("Oh, but Trump's so evil they had to!" "Uh… that's the best they could do?!?!")

TOO LOCAL NEWS: NH ranks last in percentage of education funding by the state. I think the percentage is too high.

According to a nonpartisan research group, overall state revenue to New Hampshire schools over the past 15 years has been declining when adjusted for inflation, beginning with a shift of teacher retirement costs onto local taxpayers.

Inflation is now driving higher costs, so communities and their schools are feeling the pain.

“It just keeps going up and up and up and up and up and up and up, and the school population is not going up and up and up and up and up and up,” said Joleen Worden of the Bedford Taxpayers Association.

NH Democrats are pushing the narrative that the state “downshifting costs” is driving higher property taxes. State aid to local schools has increased, though, yes, if you adjust for inflation the aid has decreased. On the other hand, local schools keep spending more and more money.

TOO LOCAL NEWS: Trump makes endorsement in NH-01 race

President Donald Trump endorsed businessman and longtime GOP donor Anthony DiLorenzo in the NH-01 GOP primary on Monday.

“It is my Great Honor to endorse America First Patriot, Anthony DiLorenzo, who is running to represent the fantastic people of New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District!” the president posted on his social media.

“Anthony DiLorenzo has my Complete and Total Endorsement to be the next Representative from New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

I think if DiLorenzo wins the primary, he loses the general.
