The WC semifinals kick off this afternoon with France-Spain. The All Star Game is tonight. And that’s it for sports, other than to mention that if this is true, the NCAA needs to probably take a long hard look at some things. And I’d be shocked if it wasn’t. Moving on.
This is a curious case. IMO, the case is valid, but the timing is stupid. The judge should have just paused it until he was out of office.
This is kind of weird. It’s usually a spouse or a child if they’re gonna go the nepotism route. But he didn’t have either, so here we are.
This could be Trump’s greatest accomplishment. Or does it need to be Standard time? I don’t remember. Either way, I’m sure it will be contentious for some stupid political reason and the left will say he’s trying to kill people.
Do they think he’s gonna benefit our society? What a shitshow of judicial overreach.
Talk about depravity. I’m not surprised it’s Canada.
LOLOLOLOL. Ok, then.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And global warming is real and DOGE killed a hundred billion people too. I can find some “experts” to say anything so long as our political beliefs align. So can these dumbasses.
Talk about burying the lede. The seventh bullet point says it all.
Why was this not always the case? I swear, I thought it was.
I’m with Trump on this one. It was a land grab, pure and simple.
Here’s a fun track. They were a good band back in the day. And here’s what I think is their best track. And not just because of Dennis Miller. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Tuesday, dear friends.

HOW DARE YOU!!!
As noted, at least her sister has a rack.
Apparently her sister likes to spread her legs. How many photos are you going to take with legs spread? Are you retarded girl? Does it run in your family…yes, yes it does.
“Yeah, yeah, yeah. And global warming is real and DOGE killed a hundred billion people too. I can get “experts” to say anything so long as our political beliefs align.”
I am actually mad that every fucking antifa asshat has not been hurt by the crowd control shit. THESE ARE ROOKIE NUMBERS!! Ramp it up…
To be fair, they were targeted with lasers pointed at their eyes, and shot at with fireworks. Oh wait…
It’s usually a spouse or a child if they’re gonna go the nepotism route. But he didn’t have either, so here we are.
Sloppy, why so homophobic?
Purely hypothetical, as a thought experiment, but does that that mean I can’t be deported to Cuba if I shove a judge into a woodchipper in Minecraft?
As a Potato you would be deported to Peru anyway.
I would have thought Ireland was the destination for a common ‘tater.
Potatoes are Genocidal Colonizers in Ireland. They are native to Peru!
I remember when the Houston Astros were stealing signs….
In this case they were probably just trying to find an M to replace all the ones that got Xed out.
One of our local breweries released a beer named Stealing Signs. It was first released in Astros colors, and then Michigan colors.
I predict it won’t pass. Because it is just too obvious and common-sense.
Well that and our wonderous leaders can’t miss the opportunity to shove a ton of pork into the bill along with it.
The obvious answer is standard time, but they are going the wrong way and picking permanent DST.
I don’t really care which one, just pick a time and stick with it.
I get the impression more people use the daylight after dinner than very early in the day.
Well, Ted, just goes to show that being a morning person isn’t normal.
Fuck DST
If you ask yourself, regardless of what everyone thinks their preference is, which time is better for everyone there is a clear answer and it is standard time.
Yup. Because DST is what arrested development cases who want to stay up late and sleep in, like when they were teenagers, want.
Will it result in less crime or more crime?
In terms of knowing what’s best for everyone with regards to setting the clock, I’m not going full commie to say what is best for everyone.
All I want is to stop changing the clocks twice a year. I’ll adapt to whatever.
I’m with UCS. I prefer Standard, but at this point the switching itself is intolerable. Put it on GMT for all I care, just stop fucking around with it.
Why is it clear?
In terms of knowing what’s best for everyone with regards to setting the clock, I’m not going full commie to say what is best for everyone.
Standard time was invented by capitalists. DST is the government.
Then I will ask: what is “standard time”?
Is there a definition for it other than “this is what we always called it.”
I’m 39 and haven’t had a coherent thought before noon since early childhood. Mom’s entire side of the family just seems run that way. I’m with DrOtto, but if anything, I’d probably prefer standard time. A big part of the reason I like being up late is the peace and stillness of the night. Since we’re not a pre-industrial agrarian society burning whale fat for light when the sun goes down any longer, who the hell cares when people want to go to bed or wake up? As if there were something inherently special about 9 AM that made it the perfect hour to start processing the day’s business records.
Modern time zones and time standardization were invented to keep rail transit operating efficiently and safely. It’s not much more complicated than that. We mostly agreed upon a uniform standard to keep trains from crashing into each other when traversing across the country.
I like being up late is the peace and stillness of the night.
I like the morning for the exact same reason!
One more vote – yeah, like I have one – for just pick one and be done with it. Don’t care which one, pick one.
One time standard. One time standard only, please.
But yeah, I would prefer “Standard” as well. Mainly just to K.I.S.S.
OTOH I suspect that every blue state will continue to employ DST both out of spite and because of pretend “green” nonsense.
DST was meant to consume less energy but it’s actually the opposite. Standard is better if you care about consuming less energy.
Drotto gets it. And it doesn’t matter in the end, as everyone will adjust to the new normal.
All I want is to stop changing the clocks twice a year. I’ll adapt to whatever.
This.
“We’ll just adapt” is bullshit though. You cannot just reprogram circadian rhythms and health. If society adopted permanent (DST) and people “adapted” by shifting their actual behavior to match their biology, the entire economy would just naturally drift an hour later.
Schools would start at 9:00 AM instead of 8:00 AM. Offices would open at 10:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM. If every single routine moves back by an hour to compensate for the missing morning sun, we have manually recreated Standard Time. It should be painfully obvious this is retarded.
You overstate the effects.
Solar noon isn’t fixed, and with the width of the current time zones, you can easily that people have no problem with the variance of where the sun rise falls on the clock. People stick to the clock.
That is how people adapt – since nobody is going to change their opening hours, lest the customer scream. business will open when the clock says they’re meant to open. Schools will still have too few hours.
People will not flock to your preferred time.
Schools will still have too few hours.
I think you misspelled “many”. It’s not spelled f-e-w, but rather m-a-n-y
“Offices would open at 10:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM.”
You’ve never worked in New York City have you?
DST is the obvious choice.
The east coast, in the northern half needs another time zone.
I really don’t care which as long as they stop changing it. Changing what time it is by decree makes no sense.
What time does Canada, Mexico, etc. use?
Arizona and Hawaii both use year round standard. That’s a red and a blue state, coming together to pick the best time.
Mexico uses standard. Canada is all over the place. The majority of the globe is on standard time.
Real libertarians realize that controlling time itself is not authorized under the Constitution.
The Constitution expressly allows Congress to fix the standard of weights and measures, which I’d argue includes time.
It’s been a brutal tactic deployed by local and federal law enforcement officials time and again over the past year: using teargas, rubber bullets and pepper spray to control protests outside ICE detention centers or during enforcement operations.
“Brutal” would be using live ammunition. “Give them a whiff of the grape,” and all that.
Of course, that is part and parcel of the left’s playbook. Let the freaks and ‘tards provoke, provoke, provoke… and then frame the reaction to the provocation as “state brutality and oppression.”
I think you mean Justice, not Brutal.
It’s been the playbook since Algeria.
“It also claims that the surrogate violated their confidentiality and caused serious emotional distress, with one of the parents unable to work from July 2, 2024 – when the surrogate refused to have an abortion – until September 2025.”
That sounds like bullshit.
Also, the article doesn’t mention any names, of the surrogate, or the same-sex couple.
Why didn’t they just call the contract null and void when she decided to keep the baby? That would have solved all of this, no tsuris needed.
Even if the contract is cancelled, the “father” (which I assume is one or the other of them) is still on the hook for child support.
Why was he in detention at all? He should have been taken straight from prison to the airport and loaded on a plane. ICE done fucked up.
He probably already had expensive lawyers jumping at the chance to rub another dangerous violent illegal alien criminal in our faces.
Those expensive lawyers can’t do shit in the very short interval between “prison sentence over” and “buckle your seatbelt for takeoff”.
Judge Canute can always order the plane to turn around.
‘“This activist judge forced ICE to release a criminal illegal alien who was convicted and sentenced to 22 years for hijacking a plane back into American communities,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis raged in a statement.’
Article says he’s already served twenty years. While I’m not particularly fond of the judge’s decision, I don’t find this particularly outrage inducing.
It’s the fact he can’t be deported now that is the outrage, not the amount of time served. Not uncommon to have an illegal serve a prison sentence and then deport them.
Ah, fair enough.
Why is it that when an activist judge says jump, the executive says “how high, your honor?” and when the Supreme Court says “cut that shit out” the activist judge goes “meh”?
Let’s be fair now. From Andrew Jackson’s famous “Marshall has his ruling, now let him enforce it” quip to Biden telling the appellate courts and SCOTUS to go fuck themselves on student loan forgiveness, the executive hasn’t always been so deferential. As to the activist judges, our infallible founding fathers fucked the goat by leaving the federal judiciary with substantially no mechanism for accountability like the other branches.
“”Anyone passing by and stopping to look could see it wasn’t suitable for the fish,” said Matías Trufero, lawyer for the NGO Jaulas Vacías, an anti-speciesism sanctuary that houses more than 200 rescued animals.”

Wherein we learn that the safety of river wildlife is more important than the dead human bodies that are piling up from heatstroke.
Stay classy, France.
Let them eat cake.
Humans are a virus.
And language is a virus from outer space.
Easy there, Laurie Anderson
Ahem. W.S. Burroughs
The greens do the same crap in the PNW trying to keep the rivers artificially cold.
The dams make the water deeper than it naturally would be and the deeper later is colder. They must only measure the surface temperature.
“Current law already prohibits foreign money in federal elections, and this bill broadens that nonpartisan, commonsense prohibition to similar state and local elections,” he said. “Elections should be decided by Americans, and they should not be influenced or funded by foreign nationals.”
“Hold our soy lattes.” — ActBlue et al
Eh, state elections, state laws. Not sure I want the feds doing more to interfere at the state level.
Agreed, although with the condition that the states willing to buck the feds on election law should also be fair game to lose federal cooperation and grants. He who pays the piper and all that.
If all that ActBlue money is actually USAID cash sent to NGOs that then use foreign scammers to do the donations, is it still foreign money? Democrats want to know…
Confident prediction: nothing will happen. More “We’re gonna do Good Thing X” kayfabe.
Can we convince Congress that spending trillions of dollars is a Good Thing that people want?
And yet the Dems can pass major health care legislation without the votes by “deeming” it passed.
I think foreign money has been prohibited in federal elections. The bill is for state and local.
Doesn’t matter what Congress says, though. It won’t be enforced. Too many of the Right People are lining their pockets.
The FEC once ordered the LP to return a Canadian’s money who ordered a $100 banquet ticket for their national convention. (Canadian simply had a U,S. Friend buy the ticket and reimbursed him.)
And how many of the Right People are lining their pockets via the LP?
The real issue is, why does the President have the unilateral power to do this kind of crap?
I could see myself sporting one of these.
Buy it now. For the children.
Feel bad for the guy because I don’t think he was being quite the dumb tourist we are used to. I mean, it’s a picnic area.

“A dog accidentally turned on a toaster inside a home in Maryland, igniting a fire and killing three other pets in the home, according to officials….
Neighbors rescued two dogs from the home, but a third dog and two cats died in the fire, the outlet reported.

https://nypost.com/2026/07/14/us-news/dog-accidentally-turns-on-toaster-sparking-maryland-house-fire-that-killed-3-family-pets/
“accidentally”
It’s a dog.
The cat would have deliberately been trying to kill its owners.
Yes.
They have critical care for lizards?
They have to send out for the tiny instruments.
Absolutely. Beardies are great pets.
Sildenafil cream — generally works a charm for a reptile dysfunction.
I got that reference.
Update:
“New, unspeakable details have emerged after a New Jersey woman was busted on child sex crimes charges — including that the boy she allegedly sexually assaulted was young enough to be in diapers.”
https://nypost.com/2026/07/13/us-news/unspeakable-new-details-in-case-of-nj-woman-25-charged-with-sexually-assaulting-boy/
I saw that. Age is important, “under 13” or “in diapers.”
She’s, uh. I wouldn’t protest. I doubt a semi-post pubescent tween would, either. If the kid’s in diapers and she’s diddling him? Uh. WTF? It sounds like *physical* abuse, not sexual. She needs to be whipped. Rather hard. I’m not sure that’s a euphemism, but sure.
Not bad looking but there’s got to be a limit to the depravity that can be overlooked and that’s well past it.
True, and we also have to have uniform laws or else they’re nothing but arbitrary and capricious bullshit. I’m on board with the notion that there’s a big difference between an adult woman sexually “exploiting” a teenage boy vs. an adult man sexually exploiting a teenage girl, but when you’re molesting prepubescent children? Yeah, fuck you. Universally. Across the board. No exceptions.
Day 1 was a bit of paperwork and getting things in order. Wasn’t able to watch much, though that’s the plan for today, if things go as expected. Mostly watching Meredith do the gig and follow the process along her screen. Lots of “plug & chug” work, which sounds like something Thuneberg w rack would do. (I wouldn’t mind?) The people in our office seem normal, ‘fun,’ even.
All-Star games are pretty stupid. Yesterday and tomorrow are the only days on the calendar w/o a US Big Four sporting event. I suppose that’s what the World Cup’s for.
“A federal judge has declared a California man who filed dozens of lawsuits against airlines a vexatious litigant after one of his latest complaints accused Scandinavian Airlines of serving him a vegetarian meal instead of chicken and limiting him to a single complimentary drink.
US District Judge Edward Chen said Sergey Firsov’s apparent “business model” was to seek waivers of court filing fees, pursue emotional-distress damages and try to recover the cost of international airline tickets, adding that the serial litigant had “caused needless expense” for airlines and burdened federal courts.
The order stems from Firsov’s lawsuit against Scandinavian Airlines, in which he alleged he was served a vegetarian meal instead of chicken during one flight and that a broken air-conditioning system on another flight made the cabin so dry it injured both him and his dogs.”

This asshole doesn’t have anything better to do?
He has less intelligence than the goldfish.
If the goldfish were dry it would require more serious intervention.
“Dogs”? Seriously?
Imagine your highest calling in life is to be a world-class asshole.
Thanks, Sloopy
I need a laugh in the morning. Somehow the debt and war in Iran don’t seem so serious after reading about the real problems that other people have.
I sometimes try to avoid the stories we’re all being bombarded with everywhere else. Today was one of those days.
“Bachelor alum Joe Amabile, 40, diagnosed with early stage brain tumor after doctors discover ‘blueberry-sized lesion'”
https://www.dailymail.com/tvshowbiz/article-15976379/Bachelor-Joe-Amabile-brain-tumor-glioma-serena-pitt.html
Why are tumors always the size of fruit?
I know what a blueberry is but a centimeter sized tumor would confuse me.
/Don’t know metrics
Because they’re smaller than football fields.
It’s not a toomah!
And shorter than giraffes, nor do they weigh as much as a jumbo jet.
I lost interest in the World Cup now that I can’t watch it. It’s not something I’m willing to pay for.
It’s on OTA TV.
I don’t get OTA. I live in a shadow for both Richmond and Washington broadcasts.
You don’t get Fox?
If you were a true
ScotsmanAmerican you’d have lost interest long before that. The Tartan Army was interesting.
Thank you for the Tears for Fears.
I like both of these songs.
Truly a classic…
So do I. And sowing the seeds of love has been stuck in my head since yesterday afternoon. So now it’s your earworm as well.
I found out a couple of years ago that college yutes know Everybody Wants to Rule the World and think it’s a great song.
Any judge which rules goldfish sentient deserves to be drowned in a fish tank (where the fish are not present – they don’t deserve that cruelty) and any cases they ruled on reviewed for signs of judicial malfeasance.
Goldfish are people too.
Yes, but they are very coy.
Only because people keep Carping on about their shyness.
Need a new fridge – any brand recommendatons? The fridge that just died was an 8 year old GE Profile series. Needless to say I am rather sour on the GE brand. Looking at Whirlpools. Would love a to have a Bosch but they are too pricey. I have to run to buy some ice and pull the chest cooler out of storage, will check back later.

As someone who just shopped for new kitchen appliances…I have no clue, good luck.
A lot of people trash-talk LG. But we have a washer, drier, stove, and new fridge. All have been working great.
The problem with LG fridges is the compressor, since the other appliances don’t have that, they’re likely decent.
I’m looking at an LG in my office, can’t remember how old, maybe 8-10 years or more. No problems.
Stay away from Samsung and LG. They’ve had compressor problems forever.
I have a KitchenAid I have a love/hate relationship with. The ice maker clogs up from time to time due to a less-than-ideal seal on the door (I got a free replacement door I haven’t used yet because we can usually remedy it without much hassle) and the one drawer knob broke and it’s $170 to replace the entire drawer. But Gosh damn if it doesn’t keep everything super fresh for quite long times. It’s counter depth but has a ton of space, too.
We got the deluxe version for the basic price because the basic ones wouldn’t be shipped for 5-6 months when we re-did our kitchen a few years back.
I would skip the big box stores and try to find a local appliance place that does nothing but appliances. We have one here and they are great. Our 36″ stove was over $1000 less than those places. Granted, they don’t sell the cheaper stuff but they have pretty good deals.
If you ever need a range hood I would recommend a Fridgidaire because they don’t badge them so they work with any brand and they are routinely $500-$600 less for the same feature set.
Also, if you’re ever looking at an drawer microwave, Sharp makes virtually all of them, but only Sharp has the fold-out controls so you don’t have to bend down to use the damn thing.
I’ve had a GE Profile for 15-20 years. It’s been acceptable. Replaced main board and, recently, the water supply line/distribution. I’m soured on GE only because, when the board went out, they would replace it for free (don’t recall if it was under warranty or had enough failures that they had extended the warranty on that part) but would not send me the part. They would send it to an “authorized” GE repair technician and he would come replace it for me. Of course I would be responsible for paying the technician. So much for a free board. So I bought the board online for $100 and replaced it, vowing at the time never to buy another GE appliance.
When the water distribution went out, I half heatedly looked at replacing the fridge – 20 years is s good run, though my erstwhile beer fridge is going on probably 40 now! – and was just floored by the connectivity and ‘apps’ (I HATE THAT FUCKING WORD!) that you had to install. I got so pissed, I just stopped looking before I could isolate which once were the least encumbered or easiest to disable.
So yeah, no real useful advice, except that from a purely operational perspective, my GE Profile has been pretty good, I was just disappointed, if understanding their perspective with how willing people seem to be to scam companies, with customer service.
I’m stuck with a subzero. I would not recommend. Very pricey to replace – as in “I could fill my garage with Best Buy fridges or a car” for the price of this bastard.
I’ve only ever purchased one new appliance in my life – a scratch and dent side by side Whirlpool refrigerator from Sears Outlet. It was still running 10 years after the date of purchase when the house in which it was installed was sold. I bought a used GE almost exactly 3 years ago on the day I moved out of said house and it’s still chugging along in my kitchen as we speak. Nearly every manufacturer is just rebadging units made from the same Chinese components, and churned out from the same 3 or 4 Chinese factories. Brands don’t matter anymore.
I’m soured on Frigidaire.
How easy would it be to find some retard who was shot with a beanbag at an ICE rally and then claim they weren’t retarded before the rally? I believe they believe the brain damage occurred during the rally, but it happened along time before that, likely in a public school.
Many of these tards had the damage at birth. From stupid parents.
Sloopy gives good linkage.
My TfF go-to was always this one
No deep cuts required.
I always loved Shout
So many good ones.
Here is another favorite.
Even as a mindless teenage edgelord, the Disturbed cover nearly ruined the song for me.
By the look of her, I was expecting some 17 year-old to have been getting a little trim but after reading the article she can be some butch convict’s toy for a long time.
https://nypost.com/2026/07/13/us-news/unspeakable-new-details-in-case-of-nj-woman-25-charged-with-sexually-assaulting-boy/
The drugs falling out of her ass will make her really popular in prison.
I expected nose ringage and colored hair and obesity. Dang, she’s attractive but really really really fucked up.
C’mon, you know you can fix her!
Well, my dad is a TV repairman, and he has this ultimate set of tools…
I can fix her.
I’m guessing she’s a college graduate who was taught to hate all men.
Gets a job at the daycare because that’s the only thing her degree qualifies her for.
Hurts male infant because men bad.
Just spitballing.
I… um… what?

Erm, what did they swing? The swing set? Cause….
Don’t kink-shame Tres.
Hey! Tres can do Tres, man… But I would consider it a violation of the Geneva convention if I was told I had to erm, swing, with these chuds.
Island-nations are legitimately awful places. Like, how much unknown inbreeding is actually happening in the UK?
Ironically, you’re making the point that the history of England has already made – the need for periodic invasions.
I’m reminded of the It’s Always Sunny orgy.
“What is this place, what did you bring me too?”
“Its a buffet…”
Another DEI hire academic writes a celebrated book trashing… southern white abolitionist sisters who grew up on a South Carolina plantation.
Released to much fanfare, the tome turns out to be both historically inaccurate and plagiarized in parts. (Archive link cuz NRO paywall)
“The university initiated a thorough peer review involving a panel of external scholars of American history which identified multiple errors of fact and citation,” a university spokesperson told the outlet. “In keeping with its commitment to ethical conduct in research, the university proactively moved to correct the public record by informing publisher W.W. And of course, the bog-standard reaction:
Greenidge, for her part, defended herself in comments to the Times, claiming that the criticisms of her work have been driven by race, because she is black.
“I am heartbroken that a field I have given my life to can treat me this way,” Greenidge said. “The attack on Black women academics is real.”
Apparently, the enemy of twofer academics is… twofer academics.
Insert LET THEM FIGHT Gif here.

you don;t seem to like any state.
There are a lot of states I’d like more if the political class hadn’t fucked them up beyond belief.
well yes but the situation is what it is.
By postal code it’s Oregon. Wolf Creek…
It could be Idaho.

We have to move from webex to teams. I don’t like it.
Teams is much more intuitive and allows your HR department to monitor and flag inappropriate comments with AI…
We recently moved from Zoom to Teams for video conferencing, and have now switched from RocketChat to Teams for text/chat. Teams sucks unimaginable amounts of monkey ass, and now represents a single point of failure that could literally make our entire department inoperable in the event of a service disruption. But our corporate overlord loves the synergistic efficiencies it’s creating…
Works fine here, I never really got all the hate.
I forget what we used before but it was worse.
I’ll grant that it basically “just works,” with the caveat that it’s resource-sucking and often very laggy. It’s just a horrible fit for our particular department/workflow. As an example, we were previously using RocketChat to communicate between on-shift leadership/management and our live chat agents for questions and escalations, and Slack for intra-departmental communication. We typically have 2-4 people keeping eyes in our RocketChat channels and each person uses a unique emoji to react to questions/comments in the channel to keep track of who’s looking into what. Teams, unlike RocketChat, doesn’t display the emojis in the order they were placed, so for instance if me and someone else both emoji a message within a few seconds of each other, it’s now impossible to tell who reacted first. As a workaround, we’re having to post reactions as threaded replies, which takes longer. And since we’re also hosting our video conferencing through Teams simultaneously, it can get extremely laggy during peak hours when the conference can have 30+ people. And since Teams now represents a single point of failure, if we have a service disruption, or Teams randomly kicks out one of our agents and forces them to log back in (which it does automagically, but with no consistent pattern as to timing), we’re reliant on bombarding our phone system for reporting the outage, where we’d previously have just defaulted to Slack. Our corporate overlord is blissfully unaware how this subdivision runs and isn’t concerned about vendor lock and redundancy. Which makes sense for their use case. But for us it sucks.
The only thing Teams is good for is the Emoji library.
Everything else it does too poorly for purpose.
Yeah, it is that.
Honestly, Teams is better than the alternatives. If you’re just using it for video/audio/text chat, it’s fine.
“The surrogate said their rapport was positive for the first few months of the pregnancy – but that all changed in late June 2024 after she informed the expectant parents that an ultrasound indicated the baby had a cleft lip, possibly a cleft palate and a minor heart defect.
She said she then received a letter from the ‘intending parents’ asking her to abort the fetus.
‘Considering that medical tests indicate that the fetus has, or is likely to have, a genetic chromosomal or other abnormality or defect, and in accordance with article 8.5 (a) of our surrogacy agreement… we want to inform you of our wish that the pregnancy be terminated,’ the letter read.”
Baby has minor, easily treaded medical issues but not perfect so…kill it. These people are just evil. Got it.
Yeah. Gross all around.
I don’t get why two dudes even want a kid. Not my cup of tea, that is for sure.
Did it say they were dudes?
They tried to bury it but there was mention of using “each of their sperm”.
Oh, OK, I missed that.
They are not undocumented – they are fucking illegal, and this is why we have insane housing shortages as well as a market looking for a financial crash to make the one in 2008 look tame. Seriously, the people giving all sorts of free shit to illegals to rig elections needs to move to the phase where we start hanging the political and bureaucratic class that enabled this criminality at the expense of the American tax payer. it is one thing to be ripped off for welfare that goes to lazy Americans. it is another to give free shit to illegals..
Unfortunately the pinkos who have taken over the Democratic Party have got half the country convinced that “undocumented immigrants” need to be protected at all costs. And since they are the party of the overeducated elite now, none of them actually have to deal with the consequences except for whatever remains of the older POC base but who gives a shit about them right?
A sizable and very vocal and organized minority but nowhere near half. Twenty percent tops.
But that 20% often has a huge impact on Dems primary election results.
I’m fine setting aside Trump’s ridiculous victim fund that he set up for himself. But as was highlighted here yesterday, the story of left wing outfit suing federal agency (environmental group suing the EPA) and the EPA just settling under Dem admins is old now and no judge has bothered to ever issue even a minor rebuke of the process. That shit essentially allows non-government entities to right new rules for the rest of us on top of the financial chicanery.
If it weren’t for the personal immunity from future audits angle, I’d honestly have no problem with the settlement. IRS and DOJ targeting of disfavored political groups needs to be reined in, and if that means the pendulum swings in such a way that they have to actual compensate the people whose lives they’ve been destroying since the Lois Lerner scandal, so be it.
Four companies are approved by the Home Office to sponsor worker visas despite being under UK sanctions for their links to the Russian and Iranian regimes.
British nationals are banned from doing business with the firms, yet they all appear on an official list of companies with licences to bring employees to the UK.
They include Russian airline Aeroflot and cryptocurrency platform Exmo Exchange, as well as two Iranian state-owned banks, an investigation by the Daily Mail, an independent researcher and the Centre for Migration Control found.

seems like just a bureaucratic error but it is amusing
“Far-left California Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna is once again exposed as a serial fabricator after his team who accompanied him released video of the West Bank incident that flatly contradicts his dramatic claims of being “detained” by armed settlers and the IDF….
The Israel Defense Forces have disputed Khanna’s characterization of the incident, stating that troops responded after receiving reports that Israeli civilians were blocking foreign visitors’ vehicles and that soldiers dispersed those civilians. The IDF has also said Khanna’s visit had not been coordinated with Israeli authorities.
He then ran to the cameras claiming violent settlers with American-made M4s and IDF soldiers detained him and other Americans, blocked their vehicle, laughed at them, and showed “arrogance of power.”
He demanded prosecutions and used the episode to push his usual America-last narrative against Israel
Now the video his own side released tells a different story. The footage simply does not support the narrative he sold to the media.”

Revoke and deport.
There are many irredeemable pieces of shit in our government, but this guy keeps pushing himself to the front of the line.
None of that matters when the professional left and now by extension the entire Dem party won’t believe anything those fucking Jews say.
But yeah he might the worst trash in Congress, which is saying a lot. This article claims that this stunt was “too much even for other Democratic electeds” but I’ll believe that when I hear it. Cuz doubt.
For a while there there were a bunch of people claiming this Khanna asshat was one of the few sane and good democrats. That was cause he went on a few podcasts and snowed the idiots there to believe he was a moderate democrat. Now the guy is being exposed as a serial freaking liar and engaging in stunts to distract from him being a ultra rich crook pretending to be a common man.
Seriously, the only semi sane democrat is the guy in the sweatshirt that had the stroke, and even he is too far left. The rest of the party is basically evil scheisters and insane murderous commies hell bent on destroying America so the rest of the worlds can claim that there is no example of how horrible collectivism is for mankind.
The party is fundamentally built on immorality.
The Republicans are almost all too far left. The Democrats need a helicopter ride.
Massie’s butt buddy btw. As cynical a cunt as I am, I don’t think I’ve ever ended up more disappointed in any politician in my lifetime.
When you accidentally admit you can’t win without cheating…
In case you missed the admission that if they make it hard to cheat democrats will no longer win elections…
They claim it’s because their base is too stupid to figure out how to prove their eligibility.
Don’t the same morons making the claim their constituency can’t do the basics consistently make fun of the rube righties and how stupid and inbred they are? And now they tell us their base is as dumb as a box of rocks….
Go figure…
The goddam reflecting pool, and now this life or death struggle over the clocks. The Law of Triviality prevails.
I will be late attending the lunch-hour post this morning. I am in a meeting until 11:30 CDT.

June 2026 monthly Treasury statement is out.
The highlight for this month is on interest:
In June, the gross interest on Treasury debt securities, which includes the semi-annual
interest payment to trust funds investing in special issue par value government securities,
was $185 billion. Net interest, which includes interest paid to holders of the debt that
Treasury issues to the public, totaled $104 billion.
Last month, rounded to the nearest billion, revenue was $496 billion, outlays were $616 billion. The monthly deficit is $120 billion. Customs duties for the month are negative which I assume means the Feds are still paying out tariff refunds.
Rounding to the nearest billion:
FY2026 YTD revenue is $4,151 billion, FY 2025 comparable period revenue was $4,008 billion
FY2026 YTD outlays are $5,518 billion, FY 2025 comparable period outlays were $5,346 billion
FY2026 YTD deficit is $1,367 billion, FY 2025 comparable period deficit was $1,337 billion.
Projections for FY2026 and FY2027 are unchanged from last month.
We’re making it up in volume though.
Don’t dawdle
Berkshire Hathaway said the 95-year-old chairman will donate 9 million Class B shares of Berkshire to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation and 1 million shares each to the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation and the Novo Foundation.
“My goal is to dispose of all of my Berkshire shares within about eight years,” Buffett said in a statement announcing the gifts. “As I explained last year, my children are unfortunately growing older. I have every hope that the three of them are able to carry out the disposal of my shares by December 31, 2034.“
Bill Gates is cut off. Give his take to Pie.
The omission comes after the Wall Street Journal reported that Buffett has held off on his customary donation to the Gates Foundation while awaiting the outcome of a review into the foundation’s ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In a March interview with CNBC’s Becky Quick, Buffett said he had not spoken with Gates “at all since the whole thing was unveiled.”

“AI may become radically more powerful over the next 10 years,” says the letter organized by Stanford University’s digital economy lab. “This could drive an unprecedented transformation of our economy, larger than the Industrial Revolution, but unfolding over a vastly shorter time frame. It could bring risks, including large-scale job displacement, as well as opportunities such as major gains in living standards.”
The letter, which has only four sentences, says leaders must “build the incentives, guardrails, and institutions needed to steer AI in a direction that complements humans and benefits society.”
The Stanford lab says the letter has so far been signed by more than 200 economists and AI researchers, including 16 winners of a Nobel Prize.
Computer scientist and AI pioneer Yoshua Bengio was among the signatories and said in a separate statement that based on the trajectory of AI development, “it is highly plausible that AI will drastically transform our economies.”
Do they have a Doomsday Clock?
Now I believe it’s a bubble.
