This was hilarious. Pathetic, sure. But still hilarious. The Astros won but so did the Rangers. The lead is slim, but holding for now. The last 6 weeks or so of the season could get interesting with both of them also hovering right ahead of a couple WC chasers. The WNBA clothesline shitshow continues. And I guess that’s all I’ve got for sports today.
What entitles this guy to a security clearance? He doesn’t have a job in the government and he’s not under contract to do work for the government. He has no reason to have a clearance.
Why is there not a cell with this guy’s name on it? Blanket federal pardons don’t protect him from state charges, and I sure hope an enterprising state AG finds something to hang on him soon.
Congratulations, you ghouls. I have nothing to add but my very vocal disgust.
He accomplished what he wanted to. His hit list was already published, which was probably his goal.
Man, Canada is fuuuuucked up. Letting the state control all health care and allowing to kill sick old people was not a good combination.
I’m shocked! Shocked that it’s only 5.
That’s some fine police work, Lou. I assumed the first thing they’d do was rifle pockets.
Here’s some good news. Let’s hope he sticks around for a lot longer.
Maybe that’s who they really are, Joe. And you’re part of them, so congratulations.
Oh, Nancy. That’s not disturbing. Him crafting legislation that lowers the age of consent for young boys and making it legal to knowingly transmit AIDS to others is disturbing. And I’m not even getting to his piss parties. No, a chatbot isn’t what’s disturbing about this fucking weirdo.
Here’s a fun song. One of many form them. And here’s another. Enjoy them both.
And enjoy this lovely Tuesday, dear friends.

Where the white women at?
Out ruining the country?
You win the internets ratty.
“What entitles this guy to a security clearance? He doesn’t have a job inn the government and he’s not under contract to do work for the government. He has no reason to have a clearance.”
You have hit the nail on the head. There are a lot of people that get to keep their clearance because they know a bunch of stuff and it is quicker to get them back in the loop should that ever be needed. But this asshole should have had his immediately revoked after being shown the door. Hope they put his ass in jail for breaking the law and doing what he did to discourage other scumbags.
The day I left Sam’s Finest my security clearance was suspended, I had no need to try to remember all those things I’d already forgotten anyway.
I can’t puzzle why a non-participant would want to continue wanting to be exposed to classified info.
So he can leak it and the media who share his political beliefs can craft a narrative.
That’s why they all want to keep them once they’re no longer a federal employee or contractor.
It’s a status symbol in DC. He doesn’t need to do anything with it to get his invites to the best cocktail parties.
“ So he can leak it and the media who share his political beliefs can craft a narrative”
That’s probably part of it. But I think a lot of it is just being on the inside and not wanting to be outside the club again.
I assume it’d also hurt his chances at some of that sweet, sweet consulting money if he loses his clearance.
Exactly this. DC is a town where secrets are cool, and having an active TS/SCI marks you as one of the in crowd. It’s stupid on a couple of different levels, but that’s how it works.
Yanking his clearance for cause was about like castrating him.
He’s a West a point grad.
Sooooo many commies come out of the academies.
They are better than you mear civilians.
Superior to regular officers too.
Obama put Brennan in charge of the CIA for a reason. Brennan was a compromised USSR stooge from the get go. He remade the CIA in his image (while Clapper, another deep stater, did the same to the NSA).
Westie LTs are the worst. They know everything.
There is no dumber officer than that O-1 which thinks he knows more than his seargant/chief.
What do you have against westie LTs, RoaT?
“Congratulations, you ghouls. I have nothing to add but my very vocal disgust.”
I am starting to believe that the people that tell you there is an existential war between good and evil, and evil drives everything towards the most harm possible, especially against innocent children, are right. We are back to sacrificing children to Moloch just like old evil societies of the past that sold out to demonic beliefs. And that pedophilia is part of this whole movement for a reason too…
This is Satan’s world.
I used to take that statement metaphorically. Not anyone. Legal infanticide in Massachusetts, state-run eldercide in Canada.
The real scary thing Drake, is the people behind this all cheer it on and love rubbing it in. They feel compelled to participate and then tell the world about the stupid evil shit they do/did. You couldn’t show your allegiance to evil more than with that behavior.
Moloch and Aphrodite.
The old gods never left.
People continued making the sacraments but forgot they were part of worship.
That Maura Healey story was on NPR this morning. There was a sob story from a dude that claimed he had to drive “a thousand miles” to get his breeding person an abortion.
A thousand miles. From MA. It must suck to be locked in such a Red part of the country. If only he had known about Hochul’s abortion subsidies he might have realized there are tiny scattered pockets of abortion-friendly doctors on the east coast!
He drove 1000 miles when there’s airports everywhere?
I’m skeptical. But I’m sure the NPR fact-checkers verified this story.
He got stuck in a roundabout for 990 miles.
Even assuming he meant round trip, 500 miles from MA has an awful lot of abortion places within that radius. It’s not like he lived in Madisonville.
Massachusetts now joins Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon and Vermont in removing gestational age limits on abortion, along with the District of Columbia.
I’m pretty sure at least one of those is less than 1000 miles away.
Call me crazy, but I think one of those may even border Massachusetts
Pity me because I had to drive a thousand miles to murder my baby is a wierd flex.
And I am gonna guess something that did not happen at all.
Never change, NPRDNC.
Retroactive abortions for everyone that voted for this.
That Maura Healey story was on NPR this morning. There was a sob story from a dude that claimed he had to drive “a thousand miles” to get his breeding person an abortion.
I suspect you’re talking about this guy:
Kate Dineen and her husband Alex Lawton recalled the journey they took to Washington, D.C. in 2021, when Dineen was 33 weeks pregnant and learned her baby had suffered a stroke in utero.
“He would either die or survive for some period of time with a spectrum of devastating outcomes. And so upon learning of the prognosis, I asked, ‘What are my options?’ And I will never forget the response. ‘You may still be able to explore termination if you’re able to travel,’” Dineen said. “Travel where? We were standing in our kitchen in Boston, just less than a mile from some of the best hospitals in the country.”
Note the date. I haven’t found a good history of how abortion laws have changed over time. There was a flurry of changes after Dobbs in 2022. Vermont being one state which passed a constitutional amendment in 2022 which effectively enshrined a right to abortion with little to no restriction in the state constitution.
As much as I would like to poke fun at Bostonian’s provincialism, it’s possible in 2021 DC was the only place he and his wife could legally get that abortion.
Fuck it. Bostonian’s view of the world map 1. Bostonian’s view of the world map 2.
Dropping the paragraph with the too many links:

@NA – are you still looking to offload the ammo that doesn’t extract well for you?
Yes!
If I recall, you had a case and some boxes. Did you have time to count the loose boxes? I just want to make sure I have the cash on hand.
I’ll count tonight when I get home.
I’ll be at SaraSpa for their match on Saturday, then gone for a week in Columbus, then Back to Saraspa on the 29th.
I’ll try to meet you saturday before your match.
AYFKM? Some stolen cars and gas station robberies take a month to try?
They indicted him in 2023. So it took at least 2.5 years to even bring it to trial. That’s easily as ridiculous as the length of the trial.
So after he’s convicted lefty judge will sentence him to time served and back out on the street he goes.
They will assign him a social worker so his criminal career is over.
When the Demo Socs take over and the police abolished we won’t have to waste time and money chasing after these products of the Great Society.
We will all have a livable wage and no need to be envious.

“Staten Island Supreme Court Justice Wayne Ozzi issued the temporary restraining order, effectively putting the luxury second-home tax on ice until at least an Aug. 31 court hearing about the peeved property owners’ lawsuit.”
That’s the most friendly venue in the 5 boroughs. It will be appealed quickly and very likely overturned.
Statem Island has its own Supreme Court?
The highest court in NYS is the Court of Appeals, not the Supreme Court.
In New York, the “Supreme” Court is the basic trial court. It then goes to the Appelate Division, then to the Court of Appeals (the actual top court in the state)
I saw a news story where they interviewed several very middle-class looking folks in Queens or Staten Island who were notified they had to prove their residency or else be slapped with five-digit taxes. I wonder why that smug prick wasn’t standing in front of their houses instead of that billionaire he hates.
Said it before related to wealth taxes – all of these schemes pave the way for data collection and audits of the bourgeoisie.
Attention old people. As I’ve returned to shooting I found these inexpensive alternatives shooting glasses compared to similar that are expressively market as such.

Have you used them yet?
Pellet pistol only in the basement. Range test hopefully some time this month when my permit comes in.
Nice. Definitely cheaper than my prescription WileyX frames/HunterHDGold lenses.
It turns out if you wear glasses, a color tint is a standard thing that your optometrist can add to your lenses. My original shooting glasses were that, and the only downside over my current ones is that the tint isn’t photochromic.
Study claims dogs can distinguish between emotions in a human face
Cats can, too, but they don’t give a shit.
Why would a master care about their servant’s feelings?
Post surgery my cats have spent a lot of time with me.
But it’s probably because they sense I’m wounded and a large meal.
Seems like the wild critters understand my emotions when I come out of the door with a lethal instrument in my hand. They tend to immediately disappear.

The University of Michigan will drop grades for first-semester freshmen next year in an effort to “curb the mental health crisis unfolding among college-aged individuals,” according to the school.

The solution to a generation of kids that got out of high school unprepared, because the teachers decided indoctrination was more important than actual learning achievements, is to dumb down college too. What could go wrong?
Goes all the way back to preschool Alex.
Reminds me of the scrawny little school shooting ‘survivor’ David Hogg and his supposed 5.23 or whatever GPA. You can get a 4.0. Anything higher is fake AF.
You can get a 4.0. Anything higher is fake AF.
This. If the kids are “going above and beyond”, enroll them in dual credit classes.
The smart kids should be rolling into freshman year with a 3.XX GPA and a full year’s worth of college credits.
The above 4.0 is supposed to reflect AP classes and such. I have no problem with it.
I have a problem with it. The AP classes are already accounted for in the form of convertable credits. Going above max on the GPA is just double-dipping.
I dunno. I didn’t get any credits for all the AP classes I took.
I think the idea is to provide a hint at what the person achieved at a glance of the GPA.
A 4.0 with all honors classes is different from a 4.0 of “special” classes.
The one AP course I took was BS.
It was easier than the classes it replaced. You just had to politely align with the teachers and I wouldn’t play commie.
My AP Bio score of 4 got me college credit.
I got a bunch of 4s and 5s and I still had to test out of anything I wanted to skip. And zero credits.
My high school used that system strictly for class rank, but was very specific that we were not to use that when applying to college.
Rhy: whether or not AP/CLEP/etc is accepted is up to the individual college. Sounds like yours was more interested in collecting tuition than others.
Yeah, that sounds right and probably what mine did too.
No idea what GPA my college (a state school) saw or was printed on my transcript for them.
One more reason to not hire anyone with a degree.
Remedial classes shouldn’t get credit anyway.
A “crisis” that thrills every useless administrator there, no doubt.

And yeah, “too woke to call out the obvious” applies to so many other positions beyond just their support for the pro Islamic terror wing of the Party.
Meanwhile, Dem mouthpieces (and I wouldn’t be surprised if he were one of them) are having conniptions about Repubs using the Michigan Senate candidate’s middle name, “Mohamed’. It’s a dog whistle for Islamophobia, or something.
I think all three of his names are dog whistles.
Nah, Muslims don’t like dogs.
The dems embraced these nutjobs and claimed they were a big tent coalition, because they thought they could use them as expendable assets to increase/keep power. Then the wild animals suddenly got bold since they kept moving the goal post leftward into crazy and the dem leadership just cheered it all on, turned on them and are taking over. It would be something to laugh about if the result wasn’t that we completely would lose one of our political parties while dangerously flirting with the two most murderous ideologies foisted on mankind by evil: collectivism and islam.
Islamists and Communists are both authoritarian theocrats so it makes sense that they’d admire one another.
Yeah, IIRC the Soviets and various Middle East nutjobs were best buds going back at least to the 1950’s.
Every ME terror entity was a KGB manufactured entity. Even the ones that came after the fall of the USSR. It was the legacy of the KGB. And the KKGB was able to do that because the west lost the will to be brutal enough dissuade the radicals. Read up on how the British empire dealt with the mohammedan uprisings ever 25 to 30 years, and you will see how to work this problem.
Before the USSR came calling, much of the mullahs were in bed with Hitler, and before that the Kaiser.
“Before the USSR came calling, much of the mullahs were in bed with Hitler, and before that the Kaiser.,/em>”
The real and important difference between communism (international socialism) and nazism (national socialism) is how the commies will consistently tell you nazism was pure evil, but that real communism was never done. That despite the fact that the top end of the body count the nazis are made responsible (which is the total body count for all of WW2) is about 60 million, while the commies killed upwards of 120 million. The fascists are disillusioned communists that quickly understood communism would always fail, and then the reason would always be inept and corrupt government. Both ideologies are not just totalitarian, but anti human.
As for the Kaiser, that fella wanted to conquer Europe, and the mohamedans are into that sort of shit.
LOL!
Or maybe he’s just a world-class asshole. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Embrace the power of “and”.
Responding to ES and anyone else who likes backstage-at-a-shooting-match stories:
Area 8 was freaking great from a match management standpoint. I wish I had shot it so I could comment on it from a competitor standpoint. There were some stages that looked really fun, but without actually shooting it I can’t compare it to MAS.
It turns out that I was actually supposed to shoot the match, and it was my fault for not understanding Ontelaunee’s communication norms. What happened was, I was given my hotel check-in time which was after the match began. Then when I checked practiscore I was NOT squadded to compete. Apparently the MD thought my drive was equivalent to the NYC crowd and I’d drive in the morning of the match, but giving me an extra night would have been NBD. And the non-squadding thing was because she doesn’t squad staff until the day of. They have a very large core group of people who all know how everything operates, but I am not part of that core corps. This extends to them not putting up any identification signage on the bays, which still bugs me, but w/e.
While that might sound like the beginnings of a shitshow, it was anything but. They had waterproof targets and a QM duo that always had new pre-made target arrays ready to swap out when previous ones were shot up. We never ran low on anything. It was a terrible match to work if you wanted to convince a trainee that the RM job was anything more than sitting around in a golf cart and approving gun swaps and an occasional scoring call. Even the scoring calls were fun. One of the certified RMs set me up at least twice to see if I would make the correct call, and I did, with at least one of my calls being correct when the certified RM’s wasn’t (we had hat cam footage that showed that I correctly identified where the wall hit was on a 2A, M target). There was a bit of competitor drama. Apparently everyone in Area 8 knows each other and has long-standing grudges. There is a half squad of MtF shooters that only recently stopped checking the “Lady” category, but while the other officials’ backs were up a bit, they didn’t actually do anything. There was a lady competitor that because of Practiscore’s habit of creating abbreviation for categories thought she was being put in the “FAT” category. Some dude with low grade mental illness DQ’d… and apparently he DQ’s from more than half of the matches he enters– no idea why they don’t ban someone with that kind of track record. Two guys got official instructions to help their squads reset. One young cop decided to wear a T-shirt he had made calling out the MD, so I got to issue my first 5.3.1 instruction.
If any of y’all are interested in referring UPSA matches, you absolutely want to work one of Vicki Weaver’s matches. She is good at convincing sponsors to donate good stuff and at least some of that goes to the staff. The guy sitting next to me at the staff dinner (smoked brisket, yum!) got a Jericho. The guy sitting across from him got a Ruger MkIV, the guy sitting next to him got a Glock. I did not get any guns, but I did get a bitchin’ bag (I guess it was designed for an AR pistol based on overall size and the mag pouches) but it will make an excellent laptop bag. Inside said bag was a high-quality sun hoodie in my size, $100 in gift certificates to EGW, and a Vortex Venom enclosed. So a bit over $500 of actually usable stuff.
Nice haul!
Compare with Area 7, where I received a couple of T shirts, store credit and a discount on SIG products.
Oh, not sure if it falls under “competitor drama” but we had two top-level guys get another competitor’s score lowered. One was totally legit in that they not only said “there’s no way that person is beating me,” but looked up their shots and saw that the RO hadn’t caught their last one (and also if you’re a C class PCC shooter beating Max Leograndis, there may be something wrong with your time) but the other was a sponsored shooter waiting for the current squad to clear the stage calling out a competitor who was not on his squad for getting an uncalled miss on steel.
The assumption that people already know things not communicated bugs me.
Precisely because of the circumstance of “new guy arrives”.
Honestly, the generosity of this MD took/takes me off guard.
An ARM slot is literally a benefit solely to me. For the match, it’s an expense, for the supervising RMs it’s the supervision/potential for me to fuckup, it’s completely a net negative for everyone (other than myself) involved.
In theory the sport will eventually benefit from having a competent RM available, but as far as this match is concerned I’m amazed that an ARM gets any consideraiton whatsoever.
Area 8 is a small territory and a very active one. It’s not wrong to say that everyone knows everyone – although I didn’t personally know of any MtF shooters. Takes all kinds I guess.
Waterproof targets are awesome. Highly recommended.
Vicki is a gem. I’m sure she doesn’t remember, but she’s helped me out a few times with getting a slot in a match I was late signing up for.
” Apparently the MD thought my drive was equivalent to the NYC crowd”
How many shooters come from NYC, and are they all cops?
There are NYPD shooters that show up regularly, but the workers are non-cops.
While maybe not technically in the city, there seem to be quite a few dozens of Long Islanders that are active in USPSA. Some of them must be trying to embody the stereotype. Like when this guy was introduced to me as “Joey Bag-o-donuts,” it took me a second to figure out if it was a joke.
That’s sweet.
“A Marine Corps veteran and retired Illinois firefighter has been hospitalized for more than a year with permanent brain injuries allegedly caused by eating raw oysters.
Joe Belgio, 44, allegedly went into cardiac arrest, fell into a months-long coma and suffered permanent brain damage after eating contaminated oysters at Gibsons Steakhouse & Bar in Oak Brook — about 15 miles west of downtown Chicago — on June 30, 2025, according to a lawsuit obtained by ABC 7 Chicago….
Belgio then went into cardiac arrest three days after eating the oysters, and “lost consciousness and oxygen for at least eight minutes,” his lawyer, Scott O’Sullivan, told the outlet….
The lawsuit alleges Belgio contracted two dangerous bacteria from the oysters — Enteropathogenic E. coli, known as EPEC, and Plesiomonas shigelloides, CBS News reported.”

yikes!
WTF is wrong with people? 🤢🤮
Not for you?
I shucked those myself – first time, and didn’t stab myself, so victory!
Granted, those were harvested w/in a mile of where I ate them – I’d be a little more wary in Chicago.
Fuck, I love raw oysters! Much better than the avocados or tomato’s that some people think are edible, let alone ribs.
They appear to have no actual evidence this is from bad oysters, they’re just alleging it. And nobody else got ill.
He’s got brain damage because he had a heart attack, and his brain didn’t have oxygen for 8+ minutes.
They allege the oysters led to the heart attack.
I feel bad for him but they’re going after the deepest pockets they can find.
I’m going to need a lot of convincing that (a) these were bad oysters – how would you know days/weeks/months later, when the oysters are not available for testing any more and (b) if so, that they caused a heart attack three days after he ate them.
Just because a bad thing happened doesn’t mean you get to stick your hand in somebody’s pocket.
no actual evidence this is from bad oysters
need a lot of convincing that (a) these were bad oysters
Wonder if he was up to date on his boosters?
You’re funny, try to convince other lawyers of that fact.
That is what our civil law is based on.
Be careful eating oysters if you’re not near an ocean.
Agreed. I eat oysters all the time (might go for some tonight) but they’re mostly from places I can drive to w/in an hour.
That’s scary, I eat raw oysters all the time.
He should probably not eat bugs either.
I broke out in serious hives after eating roasted silk worm larva in Korea. After that I have had a couple times where I got a whiff of an allergic reaction after eating some seafood.
I look forward to the day I can huffily demand that schools/planes/etc stop serving bugs because of my allergy. Why let the peanut tyrants have all the fun?
Our Vietnamese French bread came with flour weevils, no extra charge. At first we picked them out but after a few days and knew they’d been baked thoroughly we didn’t pay much attention.
Umm, what?
That’s CA efficiency in action. They’ve got actual oil offshore and in the ground, but here we are.
On Tuesday, Phillips 66 and two partners officially sanctioned a $5 billion project, called the Western Gateway Pipeline system, to build a 900-mile pipeline to ferry 230,000 barrels a day of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel from the Texas Panhandle to Arizona and California. In Phoenix, the new pipe will connect with an existing 500-mile pipeline that ends in Colton, Calif., about an hour east of Los Angeles.
https://www.wsj.com/business/energy-oil/an-oil-refiner-that-fled-california-is-backwith-a-giant-pipeline-from-texas-0ada04fb?st=Pa8n3a&reflink=desktopwebshare_permalink
Charge them 300% market rate, require they pay in gold or silver.
I don’t want California to get any oil from Texas. Get you own oil and water, Newsom!
This was my gripe for the day.
Imagine what they could do with nuclear desalinization. Can you use electric heat for petroleum refining? It is a heat source. They could be rolling in it with a few well-positioned reactors.
No, they would rather take oil and water from other states and pretend to be environmental leaders. The whole place makes me sick.
Saying Colton is an hour away from LA is generous. At 2am on May Day maybe an hour if the traffic gods allow.
Its an hour if you just look at a map, but you are right, traffic is the reigning god of SoCal.
The decline and devastation caused by luxury leftist ideology is not accidental. The results are the intended consequences. This decline is a choice. The question to ask is Qui bono?
That pipeline is 100 miles less than some people have to drive for late term abortions.
Nice.
We need abortion pipelines.

How do 2 democrats each win the democratic primary to run against each other in the general election?
State with ranked choice voting?
Exactly.
You mean jungle primary.
Racist!
And curiously the Dems love that shit.
It can’t be because it tends to shut out those other guys. No siree.
I think the term is Drum and Bass primary, Shitloard!
We need jungle, I’m afraid
I was assured jungle primaries would result in general elections between moderate Democrats and moderate Republicans.
It’s not like there isn’t a choice between the retarded communist black woman and the retarded communist brown woman.
Electioneering.
Here is the DSA agenda…
And then you get this shit…
Waiting for the amended paperwork on a new pew is insufferable.
I don’t know how long it takes to get from the County Clerk’s office to the Judge’s desk.
I don’t know how long it takes for the Judge to sign it.
I don’t know how long it takes to get from the outbox to the USPS.
USPS takes no more than 1-2 days in-county.
What did you purchase?
I picked up a Shield X
“This pattern is fascinating, especially considering the fact that in the last 35 years, Democrats have won the presidency five times to the Republicans’ four, a number that includes the two times (George W. Bush in 2000 and Donald Trump in 2016) the party lost the popular vote but won the anachronistic Electoral College. Coupled with the fact that control of Congress has been evenly split, it’s not as though the GOP has had their fingers on the American pulse this whole time. Instead, they have built a massive partisan media infrastructure and stolen Supreme Court seats to further put their thumbs on the scale of the electoral system with big money and voter suppression…..
Rogers, meanwhile, is doing the opposite, tacking hard to the right and even going so far as to join the most noxious, destructive conspiracy theory of all: election denialism.”

I AM FULLY SELF AWARE!
stolen Supreme Court seats
OFFS
“stolen Supreme Court seats ”
So, RBG was a GOP mole who clung to her SCOTUS seat until she could give it to the Republicans?
“Anachronistic Electoral College”, she sniffed haughtily. “If it wasn’t for that stupid shit we’d have our thousand-year
reichrepublic already.”Elections are anachronistic. The people don’t have the knowledge or intellect required to vote correctly.
put their thumbs on the scale of the electoral system with big money and voter suppression
It wasn’t Trump who blew a billion dollars on a losing campaign. And not wanting every illegal immigrant to vote is not the same as voter suppresion.
Wasn’t it 2 billion?
It’s been over 20(?) years since Republicans outspent Democrats in a presidential election.
Huh, why for they pick only 35 years? Oh, so they can remove Reagan from the calculus.
I don’t expect to see Fauci in an orange jumpsuit, but it would be nice to see him spend his retirement in court listening to people testify against him, instead of on the beach with his celebrity buddies.
It will also be fun to hear him complain about not being able to leave his house.
I suspect if it happens this way, Mrs. Fauci will be fed up with it before long.
If I were this honest doctor I would be offended at being pardoned.
I would like to see him die of shame, a rotting old homunculus withering away.
The best victory is his legacy completely ad utterly destroyed. That will hurt that evil gnome the most.
That’s the most we’ll get. If we get anything. He’s not going to jail.
Why I don’t golf…
Or play soccer.
Dude got off easy. He didn’t have to stick around and watch the rest of that soccer game.
“According to investigators, the company’s security chief, James Baugh, acting on orders from on high, then directed a group of young women who worked for him to target the Steiners – even as he was also harassing them and, in one case, was extramaritally involved. In 2020, the Department of Justice charged seven eBay executives and employees with cyberstalking. In 2022, Baugh was sentenced to 57 months in prison. In 2024, federal prosecutors entered into a deferred-prosecution agreement with eBay itself. The company admitted to a detailed statement of facts, was charged with six felony counts (including interstate-travel and electronic-communications stalking) and agreed to pay the maximum $3m criminal penalty.”

OMG so horrifying
On a recent sunny day at a neighborhood park in Washington, D.C., dozens of people stretched out on blankets, laughing and picnicking with friends. Dogs happily rolled in the grass. A young dad played catch with a kid. And a line of four National Guard members in full uniform, each armed with a handgun, walked single file through the scene.
The troops paused at a corner and formed a circle facing outward, each looking in a different direction. They stood like that for a minute or two, surveyed the assembled crowd, and then continued on.
No one in the park seemed to take note.
Just like some tinpot generalissimo was running the joint. I’m sure the people in that park would secretly prefer to be sharing it with junkies and whores and purse snatchers.
I am gonna bet the person that wrote that shit has not had to deal with any real adult life situation ever.
Technically they formed a quadrilateral.
Perhaps each guardsman was well rounded?
The writing is so predictable.
After almost 3 weeks in rural Canada seeing almost no significant wildlife the next day after I left my friend tells me he almost hit a moose driving. I call bullshit. There was no moose.
I saw one moose in Canada. It was north of Lake Superior just off the side of the highway. I mistook it for a horse at first, but took a second look.
Those bastards are huuuge. I’m glad it didn’t decide to try to cross at that moment.
They were all over Fort Richardson even around the barracks. We avoided them. They can get nasty if you disturb them.
You can only see one moose at a time.
If there are several of them standing around, they become meese.
A møøse once bit my sister.
They are pretti nasti.
That’s what she gets for carving her initials on the poor thing.
I saw no moose in rural Canada.
On the other hand, on I-95 between Bar Harbor and the Canadian border, I’ve seen more moose than cars on that stretch of road.
A mother and calf (still huge) popped out in front of us in New Hampshire a couple years ago. Thankfully we were slowly going down the unpaved road.
Moose aren’t nocturnal.
If you want to see a moose, the best time is just after the sun comes up. Of course we all know why that doesn’t work for you.
Out of curiousity, what did you think of the bats here in N. America?
Do they stack up against your home grown bats back in Romania?
Typo? Perhaps mouse or mousse?
Don’t trust the moose mousse from the mouse muse.
My nice niece Denise from Nice has nice knees.
You better say DeNise right or the whole class is going to feel my wrath.
Multiple studies have since found that the National Guard presence in D.C. has had no effect on violent crime.
“They have been deployed to our communities under false pretenses,” says Monica Hopkins, Director at the ACLU of D.C. “It’s not a genuine emergency as to why these forces were deployed.”
Wake up you fools! The noose is in place. All that is left to do is tighten it.
“According to our models, the thing we don’t like is ineffective”
The precipitous drop in violent crime following their deployment is just a coincidence.
That was due to the policies of the Democrat controlled city government …
I am not going to look. But I think I can safely assume there are no links to said studies.
The modern worship of ‘studies’ is just the credentialed priesthood in different vestments. Very similar to ‘the science.’
Brother Keith is surely cruising to another overwhelming victory!
Not only can he point to an impressive list of accomplishments (including a pardon of a child molester), but now he can add saving THE State Fair from our new vibrant neighbors!
Call me crazy, but if they’re organized enough to be sued, they’re organized enough for criminal conspiracy charges.
Yes. I’m sure all of you agree that this new lawsuit with the potential to add a misdemeanor to their record will surely bring sunshine here to River City.
Brother Keith has gone nuclear. This is orders of magnitude more devastating than a “No Guns Allowed” sign.
Shoot to kill. Deport the survivors.
The Pentagon recently told Congress extending the deployment will cost an additional $1.4 billion. A recent estimate from the nonpartisan, nonprofit watchdog Project on Government Oversight found the total cost of the deployment until 2029 to be around $3 billion.
That steep cost is coming at the expense of other priorities for the National Guard, says retired Gen. Randy Manner, who was once a top official in the National Guard at the Pentagon.
“This is actually negatively impacting readiness because those funds are usually used to pay for fuel, for food, for lodging, and for training exercises for our National Guard. So this is not free money, even though the president views it that way,” Manner says. “We’re robbing our nation’s readiness to be able to pay for the president’s deployment.”
A recent emergency supplemental funding request that the White House submitted to Congress, primarily to cover the cost of the ongoing war in Iran, included around $1 billion earmarked for the National Guard’s deployment in D.C.
I love how these guys suddenly become eagle eyed penny pinchers when they spot a government expense they disapprove of. I’m sure they combed through the USAID disbursements with similar rigor.
Daily Ray of Sunshine
Putting out positive energy into the world costs you nothing, and the return is worth it.
How can it only be 9:44 in the morning? This day needs to end already.
It’s almost 11AM.
That’s it! I just need to jump time zones!
To be fair, the one true time is UT.
I believe you mean GMT, Ted.
*adjusts monocle, raises eyebrow*
The CCP has been at war with the West for decades, and are working hard to rig the game in their favor when they go kinetic. Think about this. The UK has a bunch of drone boats that would not only give away any action against the CCP forces in advance, but – and I am gonna bet they found this but refused to disclose it – could be hijacked by CCP forces and then turned against other UK assets.
Buyer beware.
One wonders whether the leaders leading the UK so wisely are for or against feeding secrets to the CCP.
The globalist marxist movement has sold out to the CCP. That cabal expects to end up holding mandarinate positions as they rule in the name of Beijing. Maybe that is why they are letting a muslim horde invade their country.. They can use them to fight the commies?
Yesterday there was some talk about a book I had never heard of, The Library at Mount Char.
I had just finished a book and everyone here that had read it made it sound interesting, so I started it last night.
So far, I am equally fascinated and creeped out.
David just came out of the bull and there are so many other sub plots happening, not sure what’s going on or what is going to happen.
If you like weird magic stories, give this one a shot.
equally fascinated and creeped out.
Yup. That’s the book.
And pretty much the appropriate response
👍
I can’t believe you didn’t try to push some story out to drum up support for Mike Lindell in today’s primary for Minnesoda governor!
Why can’t the GOP nominate nut jobs? Is it some law I don’t know about that only the Dem/DSA can run loons?
Would it have something to do with the fact that 90+% of DSA members are white, but all their candidates are POCS of some flavor?
Off the top of my head, I know that J. Edgar Hoover and Fauci both ran their bureaucracies for decades. Maybe we shouldn’t let the drones stay in power for so long?
Anyone able to think of a govt drone who ran a department for decades and did good?
Mandatory retirement after 20 years.
Gen Hershey is another one. Even Rickover.
“Former NFL MVP quarterback Cam Newton just dropped a MOAB on the NFL’s COVID theater, confirming that Rodgers was 100% RIGHT all along.
Newton confirmed what Aaron Rodgers said all along: players, coaches, and even league executives were buying fake vaccine cards to skate around the league’s authoritarian protocols.
“If we’re being honest,” Newton said, “there were multiple players, coaches, and executives that fraudulently got their COVID shot. Yes, I said it.””
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/08/former-nfl-mvp-cam-newton-vindicates-aaron-rodgers/
He needs to hire a stylist or come out as gay.
Embrace the power of “and”.
I think Cam Newton’s sartorial choices are more fun and interesting than most other sports personalities.
That is a smart neckerchief.
How is this possible given both NY and NYC’s common sense laws?
https://nypost.com/2026/08/10/us-news/boy-16-shot-dead-as-he-and-pal-play-with-gun-inside-nyc-home-sources/
Because he was flashing cash like a wannabe gangster?
Nunez, who lived just blocks away from the home, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding EMS workers, police said.
I’m going to guess that there were no guns in his home and his parents never taught him any basic safety rules about firearms.
So many of these stories are about some visiting kid, who knows nothing about guns, who starts fucking around with a gun thinking it is some sort of toy.
Gun safety should be taught in pre-school.
The likelihood of that weapon being legal at the home in the first place approach zero.
“Nolan noted that El-Sayed’s support came overwhelmingly from college-educated voters like Gill, and that El-Sayed lost the state’s 15 counties where the majority of voters did not have a college degree, characterizing the latter as the “working class” that DSA claims to support. Noting that she has $500,000 in student debt, Gill said college-educated voters like herself believed their degrees would lead to prosperity, but ultimately they found themselves downwardly mobile because society’s “scales are tipped in one direction to benefit the rich.”
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/socialist-leader-squirms-tv-interview-forced-address-push-abolish-prisons-police
Does she have 37 degrees?
If you have half a million in student debt and you’re not a doctor, then you were living off your student loans. There’s no other way. My sympathy in either case is pretty well non-existent.
$500,000 in student debt
How is that even possible?
Did she do stupid shit like refinancing over and over again where accumulated interest turned in to principal balance on the next loan?
The solution to the problem is to revert to the days when student loans could be discharged in bankruptcy court. Then the lenders would stop lending these ridiculous amounts of money to people with income.
Amen.
It would be amusing to see how fast those loans dried up if they could be discharged in bankruptcy.
I’d also be open to having the schools/universities be on the hook for the loans if the student defaulted.
The scales are tipped in the favor of people who add value to the world. Degrees in HR or underwater basket weaving are useless in the real world.
“I didn’t expect to have to answer real questions.”
I would have told that person shove all that commie shit up her ass. I guess that’s why I don’t do interviews for a living.
Embrace the inevitability
But in spite of the hesitation from some top leaders of the left, a number of progressive groups are on board with her campaign.
“If Francesca Hong is elected the governor of Wisconsin, people are going to see somebody working very, very rigorously as the governor, like [Zohran] Mamdani is as the mayor of New York, to pursue a set of policies that people are rapidly going to recognize are in their best interests,” said Alan Minsky, executive director of Progressive Democrats of America. “They’re going to embrace [Hong] as much as they have Mamdani, whose popularity right now is off the charts.”
On whether she can dispel electability criticisms that moderate Democrats often lob at progressives, Minsky said: “The proof will be in the pudding in November.”
She’s a juggernaut of love and compassion. She knows what people need and want.
I haven’t looked at any polling, but I suspect Blue No Matter Who and the Milwaukee fraud machine will carry her over the finish line.
Stupid and energetic, just what they need.
My thoughts exactly.
I need a politician ‘working in my best interests’ like I need a broken glass enema…
We’ll drive rich people out of the state just as fast as they’re fleeing CA and NYC!
What color is the sky in LALA Land?
Democrat Blue
Got my nerve blocks done and some pills they gave me are kicking in.
Cutting is starting soon and I’m fading.
See you guys on the other side.
Good luck!
I shall think happy thoughts for you. Dream of kitties.
Hope it goes well.
Uffda. When I got snipped all they used was a local anesthetic.
Nice humble brag.
I don’t envy you the foot pain when you awake, but in the meantime: rest well and dream of large women
Wait until you wake up and find you’ve been circumcised!
“What do you think of your new breasts, Mr. Threedoor?”
He’s already got gynecomastia, so I’d guess he’d be happy with the breast reduction.
Best wishes
At first, I didn’t think the job market would be that bad. I’d spent 10 years as a senior director of content at a global health and social justice organization, so I felt confident I’d find another role.
Sustained laughter.
I was laid off after 10 years at the same company. My $17-an-hour job at a garden center changed how I think about work.

Another bullshit artist.
“I’d spent 10 years as a senior director of content at a global health and social justice organization,”
This was one of the members of that underground economy that got paid from massive fraud in all fed and state level social programs and NGOs?
“Roku users have been given a new form of entertainment—a 24-hour television channel made entirely from AI-generated films, adverts and other bizarre content.”

No.
They already had AI mixing music channels. This is not s surprise. Also not a surprise that I will not watch.
Is Ow! My Balls! an option?
A correction: I would watch if CPRM was in charge of it.
The triumph of Max Headroom
This should be cool:

“Set in the mid-seventies, THE STUNT DRIVER recounts the true underdog story of Canada’s Ken Carter, the world champion stunt driver who battles personal demons and public doubt to attempt what everyone considers impossible – a mile-long jump across the St. Lawrence river in a rocket car.”
I don’t know how cool it will be if it’s from IFC.
There is always the chance that the characters will go off to discuss racial injustice or climate change. This is true.
““Support on individual issues facing the trans community, on individual policies around trans rights, by every objective metric, is worse today than it was five years ago,” McBride said. She also said that while some transgender-related policies still maintain majority support, support for them has declined compared with four or five years ago.
“There is no question that a well-funded, well-coordinated, right-wing, regressive movement has successfully pushed public opinion backwards,” McBride said.”

It’s going after kids, you idiot.
These people put a video out saying they were going after the kids and nobody would be able to stop them a while back. I remember there was some serious furor about it, then it died out as everyone said to stop talking about the slippery slope and the agenda, as it was a joke. We are there now. They are targetting the kids.
Fauci will share a cell with Lon Horiuchi.
I wish, but probably not.
I’d spent 10 years as a senior director of content at a global health and social justice organization, so I felt confident I’d find another role.
I’m indispensable! My contribution to civil society is vital!
MATERNITY CARE DESERTS!!
The kind of care Gramby offers is important because more than 52% of counties in the U.S. do not have hospital-based labor and delivery services, according to the latest March of Dimes “Nowhere to Go” report on maternity care deserts, out Tuesday. The 2026 report also finds one in three counties, or nearly 35%, are maternity care deserts, meaning they have no birthing facilities or obstetric clinicians.
Sure, okay.
Iowa has 99 counties. Most of those counties are rural and don’t have full capability hospitals. It’s always been that way.
Bingo!
