You’re probably not going to like this, but the only real hope for a significantly lower sticker price for sending humans into low-Earth orbit is Starship. If incentivized, SpaceX probably could bring this capability online by 2030 and radically reshape the market. But from all publicly available evidence, and based on private conversations, SpaceX seems unlikely to prioritize crewed ascent and reentry on Starship for government astronauts any time soon. Could that change? Certainly. Will it? Probably not. SpaceX and its founder, Elon Musk, will do what they want.
Golly, SpaceX is for profit public company and not a charity. Who knew? NASA gave SpaceX $3.1bn to develop Dragon. Meanwhile Boeing has received over $5.1bn and has yet to have a successful manned flight. NASA is chucking them another $400m.

It was nice, and the screen wasn’t annoying.
Climate control being touch screen only was a big negative.

Why do we still presume that men simply are sexually predatory, extractive, and coercive, and that it’s on women to be the ever-vigilant guardians of sexual morality? And what should the social consequences be for behavior that is appalling, sadistic, and damaging, even if (especially if) it doesn’t meet the current definition of a crime?
Women are fragile, feckless things, incapable of making informed decisions or living independently. The Elizabethans had it right. they must be locked away under constant supervision.

It’s helpful to look the particulars of this case in the face, not in asking if the facts meet the black-letter legal definition of a crime in the state of New York, but to ask if what happened was morally and ethically egregious enough to merit a broader social reckoning (and perhaps financial penalties from a lawsuit). What must have been going through the heads of the men involved here? How depraved and sadistic does one have to be to see an intoxicated, out-of-it young woman and decide that the appropriate course of action is to invite your friends over for “free” access to her body?
Evidence? Proof? What need have we of these when our hearts tell us what is true and proper? This case should be settled via trial by ordeal.
Also- that was not a woman with agency and mental capacity and self awareness, it was a piece of helpless meat thrown to a pack wild ravenous dogs.
