Gentleman, once again, I regret to inform you that women.
This is my review of Grand Canyon Brewing Prickly Pear Wheat Ale:

I will actually being with a brief history of smoking bans. The first of which began in the 1970’s with a few states implementing indoor smoking bans, followed by recognition at the federal level of secondhand smoking as a potential vector for cancer, resulting in a wave of indoor bans at the state level resulting in smokers being the only acceptable American population subject to Jim Crow.
Why am I talking about smoking? First off, because its available, its addictive, its legal, and its cool. The damn things sell themselves!* Second off…women (TW: The Guardian):
The manosphere and online misogyny should be treated by the government as a public health issue, in the same way as obesity or smoking, experts have said.
Writing in the Lancet, the authors of a new report argue that a coordinated response is needed, involving governments, schools, health services and community organisations, similar to the public-health response to tobacco use and ultra-processed food.
“Men’s problems are framed [in the manosphere] as the result of feminism rather than structural conditions, and masculine identity is commodified through products and paid content that normalise and reinforce health-harming and performance-oriented masculinities,” the authors write.
Don’t worry it gets better.
It goes on to outline how the manosphere has evolved into a highly lucrative online industry that makes money by promoting “the most extreme expressions of misogyny and aggrieved masculinity”.
Prof Kent Buse, a co-author of the paper and co-founder of the social justice thinktank Global 50/50, said: “This is a business model, not a fringe. Outrage and grievance are good for business, so the system rewards the most extreme content. Expect the playbook that served tobacco so well: blame the individual, and call regulation an attack on freedom. Public health has a tested toolkit for commercial harms and we should use it.”
He added: “Boys and men are not the problem. The problem is the conditions that leave them isolated and without a secure future, and the companies that profit from their anger and insecurity.”
It would appear the only way to get rid of Andrew Tate is to tax the living shit out of Andrew Tate, and his litany of products. Most of which is porn which is already heavily regulated in all states, but he does sell other things as a Top G is wont to do. After all, it is evident that Andrew Tate is a lucrative industry, and excise taxes on legal but “nuisance” industries have ample precedent. Then, we restrict where Andrew Tate is allowed to be consumed–primarily outdoors. Some accommodation for watching the porn he sells can be consumed indoors provided we have proper ventilation and spacing for non-Andrew Tate consumers to not come in contact. Outdoor areas will be clearly identified for Andrew Tate and non-Andrew Tate consumers alike. Which effectively means we can only watch Andrew Tate from the comfort of our private domicile.
Hang on, isn’t that already the only place where people can watch Andrew Tate? Originally, this was dug up by Sloopy from some place in Ireland but was retarded enough to be republished in The Guardian.
There must be an endgame to all of this? I posit we are inching ever closer to the tyranny of retards rather than our current tyranny of midwits. Between Lindsey Clancy and this lady, it will soon be acceptable for a defense lawyer to argue in court the accused is too dumb to understand they committed a crime. Isn’t that just an insanity plea? No. In Arizona that is an admission of guilt.
Somewhere out there you are probably wondering why Prickly Pear is a thing. Well to be honest I don’t really know. The cactus does grow an edible fruit that can be harvested shortly after a rainy period in Arizona and Northern Mexico. You just have to cut away the outer skin which does have spines to get to the spongy fruit inside. Its pretty neutral to be honest but can have a faint bubble gum flavor. Its not particularly sweet and people that use it in cocktails often have to add some kind of sugar to it. Agave for example. So does it work in a beer? More or less. It doesn’t really taste like anything other than wheat beer. Its like a flavorless shandy.
Which is actually a novel idea because whoever came up with shandy is retarded. Grand Canyon Brewing Prickly Pear Wheat Ale: 2.7/5
*Sorry, I couldn’t find the exact clip.

Prickly Pear Wheat Ale: – this off the bat sounds horrible to me.
Writing in the Lancet – this can be ignored then
the result of feminism rather than structural conditions – well feminism is a structural condition, not that structural means anything these days.
t goes on to outline how the manosphere has evolved into a highly lucrative online industry that makes money – this is in fact true and there is loads of bullshit
social justice thinktank – speaking of bullshit
Boys and men are not the problem. – tell that to the feminists
can be harvested shortly after a rainy period in Arizona and Northern Mexico
wait why was it then in the lyrics of that old Jungle Book song which was in India?
Now when you pick a paw-paw or a prickly pear
And you prick a raw paw, well, next time beware
Don’t pick the prickly pear by the paw
When you pick a pear try to use the claw
But you don’t need to use the claw
When you pick a pear of the big paw-paw
Pawpaws are from more wetland areas, such as the Ohio valley. A (now defunct) brewery used to have a great pawpaw beer they did for fest and harvest season.

Is this another one of those “teach boys not to rape” stories?
I heard a throwaway line on Bob’s Burgers of all things the other day… they were looking at an old photograph and one of the kids notes that it was back when “there used to be male doctors”.
Prof Kent Buse, a co-author of the paper and co-founder of the social justice thinktank Global 50/50, said: “This is a business model, not a fringe. Outrage and grievance are good for business, so the system rewards the most extreme content.
He said this without the faintest trace of irony or self-awareness, we may assume.
There must be an endgame to all of this?
Universal castration at birth?
I like a shandy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Or what I would call a “Radler” cuz Germany is where I learned to drink like a teenager.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
What do they use for soda?
Usually lemon, like a less-sweet 7up.
I too am pro-shandy/radler (especially in summer). One of the local breweries (Market Garden) has released a Shandyland pack the past couple of years with four different flavors, they usually have six shandies on tap at their main bar/restaurant.
Jake Richards, minister for men and boys, said: “This report lays bare the impact of toxic online influences and why action is needed now. It’s not just an issue for men and boys – it is a wider societal challenge. As the first minister for men and boys, I’m determined to drive this issue up the national agenda, dismantle the manosphere, and give young men the opportunities and role models they need to thrive.
I’m breathless with anticipation.
…exist?
…control the MSM?
Seems like Andrew Tate is the inevitable result in a culture that has treated men like dogshit for decades simply for being men.
I told XY I was going to disassemble the oven door to clean the inside and he said, “Be careful bc people break them like that.” WTF. Apparently the inside assembly is spring loaded and will snap closed as soon as you get the screws out, and then break on contact with the oven. “Look on YouTube. It’s a thing that happens.” I did. What do you know. I taped it together and prepared. Anyway, mine isn’t built that way but the front did clatter onto the floor.
For my next trick, I bought one of those pull-out cabinet inserts for this big-ass cabinet where we just throw our pans with no rhyme or reason because there are no shelves. After that is the blind corner cabinet. My kitchen’s design just absolutely sucks. Gonna talk to my landlord about getting gas installed for a new stove (that we would buy) because this electric glass top bullshit is bullshit. I can’t even get a good boil going. Worse than a normal electric stove.
And, the most heartbreaking thing of all. The new Whirlpool fridge with the nugget icemaker is 1/2″ too wide for my fridge opening and that is AFTER the countertop overhang had already been cut flush to the cabinet box to accommodate any fridge of decent width. I really love nugget ice.
What is it with americans and ice 🙂
Dude. You’ve been here. You should have converted to the Gospel of Ice by now.
Pie went to Hippietown NY, not America.
That’s not the only place he’s been. That was just the most recent.
Stop putting tuna in beer. This is the second time now.

My grandmother used to make prickly pear jelly. It was wonderful.
And Rancho de Chimayo has a prickly pear margarita that is out of this world.
Yeah, Manosphere Bad.
Meanwhile, there was a clip floating around recently from Call Her Daddy – which is one of the most popular podcasts around, has big corporate advertisers, and consists mostly of women talking to other women about how all their problems are caused by men – where some woman was telling all the married women out there that no matter how old they are it’s not to late to leave their husbands and abandon their family and go have fun and be free and live for themselves.
I follow quite a few sensible women on Twitter and of course, most of the church ladies are nice as is my boss, but otherwise, I’m fucking sick of women.
