“Democrats Map Plans to Reverse Trump Actions After Midterms”

      To save their democracy…

Meaning to make it impossible for anyone but democrats to win elections, and where the most corrupt democrat is the one to win. Because their democracy is the corrupt bureaucracy they have created that defrauds tax payers to the tune of $2 trillion a year. See CA or MN for example.

…but maybe he owns a banjo.

      • AlexinCT

Not sure how that happened UCS…

And I do own a banjo and play it in the woods when I see lost kayakers…

    • Ted S.

And here I was hoping for a proper autumn morning.

      • AlexinCT

        Whatcha talking about Willis?

It’s 61 here in TX. Pretty fantastic. Something like a 40 degree drop from 2 weeks ago.

      • Ted S.

I reject the assertion that there can be anything fantastic about Texas.

      • Not Adahn

The people there are miles away better than NYers. Not even close.

      • Ted S.

I didn’t say New Yorkers are fantastic. I mean, *I* am, but I’m sui generis.

      • Necron 99

Texas get a couple weeks in the spring, and a couple weeks in the autumn when the weather is nice. Makes up for the other 48 weeks of hell.

We were heartened that, during today’s argument, the justices rightly questioned whether national and international climate issues can be turned into state tort liability issues simply by changing how the claims are pled.

It’s a goddamn shame that nobody with three neurons to rub together has said “The plaintiff’s claims are ridiculous. Case dismissed — loser pays.”

    • AlexinCT

Total clown show. And they are arguing about how many clowns you can stuff in the VW bug.

    • rhywun

I suspect that three of the supes are going to vote in favor of sending the country back to the Stone Age if given the chance. I have suspicions about a fourth, too. It doesn’t matter that the claims are ridiculous and completely unprovable. We’re running on feels now.

      • EvilSheldon

Of course. All you have to do with a progressive is invoke the magic incantation “Clima Mutatio!” and what passes for their brain shuts off.

    • EvilSheldon

When you’re the only functional system of government, you become very hot property to both sides…

How this even got to the Supreme Court is a testament to how broken the judiciary is.

On appeal from the Colorado Supreme Court.

So the good news is that this doesn’t set a federal precedent either way.

For a brief moment, McConnell’s priorities aligned with his constituents. Lord knows why.

I would love to see the balance of the god vs. the bad from the guy. yes, keeping Garland off was a win for sure, but he was bought and paid for by the CCP. And that is a YUGE fail.

Supreme Court Appears Split Over Boulder Climate Lawsuit Against Oil Companies

Correct Court Ruling – Federal law does not allow this action in state courts as an end run.

Best Court ruling – Plaintiffs claim but do not prove that Carbon Dioxide drives Climate Change. Plaintiffs claim but do not prove that defendants are a major driver of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Plaintiffs claim but do not prove damages from climate change. Plaintiffs case is dismissed with prejudice. Plaintiffs are ordered to pay all costs of the court and defendants. **Update to proper respondant/appellate designations for whichever filed cert to SCOTUS.

So that Cornell slut that is now crying rape cause she sees a pile of money to be made, Lucy Craig, where does she supposedly fall on the hot vs. crazy matrix? I saw a pic and I am pretty sure she was a top candidate in the danger zone. I wonder when they will interview her dad?

    • Not Adahn

Not even vaguely hot enough to be worth it.

      Don’t talk about Lucy!

        Nice call back.

    • R C Dean

She can clean up pretty nice, but natural redheads get an automatic +2 on the crazy scale.

It irritates the fuck out of me that nearly everyone is still calling her “Jane Doe” even though her name is now public. It prevalidates her unproven claim to be a rape victim. At least I’m seeing a few people calling her Train Doe, which pleases me.

      • AlexinCT

Speaking of which, I have seen comments that the guy identified as Matthew, actually is some middle eastern dude that uses that name in the US. And that the other 2 participants were also non white…

If this happens to be correct, what are all the Karens, now all fapping to this misogynism story hoping to hurt honkey dudes from a frat, going to do? are they going to have a freakout where suddenly they have to side with the non white fellas against the ginger slut?

How they will do that while he is still in office, I really couldn’t say.

    • UnCivilServant

That’s what the impeachment is for until their speaker of the house falls into the office.

      • R C Dean

I’m trying to imagine a dozen or more Team Red Senators willing to completely destroy their political careers by voting to remove Trump and Vance.

Could you find enough that could be paid off? Maybe. I wonder how much it would cost, though.

All they have to do is restore all of the USAID spending.

      • AlexinCT

And you can bet they will put the fraud into overdrive to get enough money to globally reverse the calamity the defunding caused their evil agenda.

      • EvilSheldon

All they have to do is restore all of the USAID spending.

Restore? Please. They’re gonna triple it, at least.

Alito has recused himself, leaving only eight justices to decide the dispute. Alito’s financial disclosures show that he owns stock in several oil and gas companies, although not ExxonMobil or Suncor.

He can’t possibly be the only one that owns oil and gas stock. None of the other Justices even have an index fund?

    • Ted S.

They’re all paid by the government, so they’re all compromised in any case that would expand the power of the government.

    • WTF

Alito mistakenly assumes the leftists on the court would also recuse under similar circumstances. Foolish move on his part.

Apple News hid stories about how broke the DNC is ahead of the midterms, watchdog alleges

As I said a few days ago, the Dems have little domestic fundraising support. ActBlue is presumptively (illegal) foreign or excess donations.* The DNC had to mortgage their freakin’ HQ, fer chrissakes.

*I’d love to know why this has been widely known for years and years, and no Republican has prosecuted them.

America Cut Off USAID, and Elections in Latin America Look Very Different Now

I’d love to hear why, exactly, USAID supported, without exception, anti-American candidates and regimes in Latin America.

    • rhywun

Because the entire left is anti-American?

    • WTF

To ensure living conditions and the economy were terrible in Latin America, so they would get the invading hordes they needed to maintain their power and representation.

    • R C Dean

This can probably be tied to the widespread reduction in testosterone levels.

Day II: Spent about four minutes in The Vault yesterday, and we shall see how it goes today. Likely more paperwork and online ‘training.’ No sexual harassment training yet! Again, we shall see!

Rock on, cupcakes, and those of you who identify as radishes or other handsy foods.

    • R C Dean

“Ooh, sexual harassment training! My favorite. Maybe I can pick up a few tips.”

      • Ownbestenemy

We think the same. Here is your human trafficking training, in which I now know, more about how to traffic thank before.

      • AlexinCT

I was once, more than 30 years ago, right at the start of this stupid training fad, made to take sexual harassment training because to senior VPs had been caught in scandalous behavior at GE. Seems he took a sample sound activated video recording device his line was responsible for and put it in the female VPs bedroom to record her in action. Anyway, he got caught retrieving the tapes or something, and there was a major scandal where he got fired and she got a YUGE settlement, but all us rubes now had to go get sekshual harassment training.

Anyway, I walked into the training area, saw the hot lady that was teaching it, decided to crack a joke, and asked who I needed to harass to get back to work. My manager made me retake the class after that shrew complained.

      • R C Dean

Did you at least call her “honeybuns” during the training?

“A troubled one-time Marine recruit who was transitioning to live as a trans woman has admitted to stabbing a hiker to death — having told cops she was “what I would want to look like.”

Zion Teasley, 25, pleaded guilty to murdering beauty technician Lauren Heike, 29, in a deal that took the death penalty off the table.”

    • Ted S.

With apologies to certain people here, if there’s one thing I’ve learned about Marines here, it’s that they’re not the sharpest tools in the drawer.

      • UnCivilServant

Well, you have to remember, everyone who is a Marine made a decision to join the Marines.

Gives you a baseline for what to expect.

    • Not Adahn

Supposedly most crazy people are not a threat to anyone but themselves.

“President Trump repeatedly used an anti-trans slur against South Carolina Democratic Senate candidate Annie Andrews Monday while imploring residents of the Palmetto State to vote for Republican incumbent Darline Graham Nordone next month.

“Annie ‘Trannie’ Andrews is running against our wonderful Darline Graham for the Senate in South Carolina,” Trump began a Truth Social post in support of Graham, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) who was appointed to fill his seat following his unexpected death July 11.”

“A drunken woman allegedly rubbed passengers the wrong way when she took off her pants and began masturbating on a flight from Baltimore to Miami last month.

Katy Inzer, 46, committed the lewd act shortly after takeoff on an American Airlines evening flight on September 11, according to an incident report filed by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

A fellow passenger had complained to a flight attendant that Inzer had “remove(d) her pants and began to actively masturbate while making inappropriate sounds,” the report said.

When approached by the attendant, Inzer stopped beating around the bush, put her pants back on and “fell asleep for the remainder of the flight,” according to the report.”
