I bought new 10 round NJ compliant Glock magazines. I’m no t sure who I am supposed to hate more, NJ, BATF or Glock.
Putting the 10th round in was crazy ridiculous and impossible in one of them.
I read that Glock basically got the biggest strongest guy they could to try to shove 11 rounds into it. If he succeeded they made it tighter.
I had to disassemble three brand new mags, remove some extra plastic flash that I think was my problem in the one magazine and I judiciously removed some material from the follower. They all now load better and fully. However, they are still crazy stiff compared to my old banned magazines.
I’ve got them fully loaded and hopefully compressing thing and compressing the springs. Guess I’ll leave them loaded much as I’d prefer not to do so.
I may buy extra springs and cut a coil and see what happens. Once again fuck NJ.
I’m confused at that procedure by Glock. In the DPRNY, making a magazine take below its normal capacity is accomplished by adding a pin in a spot that simply stops the magazine follower from going down further. So you get normal spring pressure for ten, then you hit the steel bar and it doesn’t go further.
What are they doing to stop at ten if they need to iteratively abuse it like that?
This is factory. You can pay to pin in NJ, but it can’t be readily reversible.
So the factory Glock nerfed magazines turn the double stack into a semi single stack. They are staggered, but not as much as they could be or are in a double stack. It’s accomplished by putting bulges in the metal magazine liner.
The last round pushes the follower basically to the plate and fully compresses the spring.
I haven’t looked into what the effect would be to unpin my nerfed CZ Magazines. But the Glock process sounds awful.

Despite her family’s wealth, she has been effectively squatting on property. The co-founder of the Los Angeles Tenants Union and co-author of “Abolish Rent: How Tenants Can End the Housing Crisis,” Rosenthal is a darling of the far left. In New York, she declared that rent is “a ransom,” and “We pay rent at the peril of our need.”
Rosenthal portrays landlords as bloodsuckers and rallied the left to refuse to pay rent even though “if we don’t make this payment, our landlords can call on agents of state violence who can use physical force to throw us outdoors.”
Rosenthal has perfected not only the squatter culture but also the use of regulations to take effective control of properties. In allegedly squatting in California, Rosenthal reportedly pushed to get her building placed under the Housing Preservation Department’s Alternative Enforcement Program. Under that, a landlord must fix problems or risk losing the property.
Does “fixing the problems” include executing the squatters and stuffing the bodies in the crawlspace?
