I didn’t find a pumpkin beer this year. I just didn’t have time to look and find one that suited my fancy. This however I nearly grabbed a couple times thinking it was Oktoberfestbier. It is not and I would argue that’s exactly what they were hoping I buy out of confusion. Its a “hoppy pilsner” so it certainly wouldn’t qualify for my other annual feature. Is it any good though? Yes, actually. Pilsner normally is balanced to slightly hoppy so this combination actually does works if you tend to drink hoppy styles anyways. I don’t just mean IPA, I am also referring to strong ales like Arrogant Bastard. Even if you don’t it doesn’t deviate so much it gives you an aneurysm and you spend your remaining years thinking you are Sydney Sweeney or Lisa Loeb. Don’t know if anyone has seen it, but Lauren Southern has condemned her former political views and claims back in like 2018 she was raped by Andrew Tate. Was meeting with him to get investment money in her words for some project. They went out that night and somehow she ended up in his hotel room and he forced it.
She claims she was horrified to say anything because:
1. She’s the girl who mocks others for putting themselves in that situation.
2. She thought the people on the right wouldn’t believe her.
She now goes around telling other right leaning women that they have a shelflife in the “movement” and that they’ll turn on her/eat her eventually.
Which is a whole shit ton of projection. No one as far as I can tell ever turned on Southern. She stepped aside. She claims now it was about this situation, but no one knew about it.
I have no idea what she does for money at this point. She apparently went broke after her husband divorced her and ended up in a trailer. So I have to wonder if this isn’t more about santizing her image.

Just filled out my ballot. No LP candidates for any office so I voted R for several races. For my state representative I had a choice between D and G so that race got zero votes. For the various amendments, state and county/city, I was 100% NO. I even got a chance to vote against land acknowledgements, establishing a LGBTIA+++ office and staff, a native Hawaiian office and staff, and several opportunities for more taxes.
I am so ready to move from this state.

Wandered around the old office neighborhood where I used to work from 1998 to 2014 and to check out the WTC activity. If anything, the area is busier than ever – especially for a Saturday.
