Since Musk&Co. took over Twitter X.com we were promised a platform that respects free speech.  So how are they doing?

This is my review of Tombstone Brewing Maris the Classy Otter:

As I have noted, the only real issues I had on Twix were related to the phrase, “show me your tits” and my distaste for manatees.  The latter should be recent enough you can find it in a search, don’t enact my labor and ask me for a link to refresh your memory.

I came across this this in my feed and decided this can’t be real.  They would be able to figure this out wouldn’t they?

So I responded that I too reported this person for clearly posting a racial slur on TwiX.  I collected my like and moved on.  In fact I forgot about it until they sent me back this email:

So I guess that means the N-Word is okay…on TwiX.  Please note any use of this word in the comment section will result in a Catbutt, or further escalation up to an including the Ban Hammer.

This funny beer name has nothing to do with hairless gay men.  Its actually a quaint reference to a British strain of barley…because they can’t call it wheat on that side of the pond.  This is one developed by a cracking team at Cambridge in the 1950’s, grown in East Anglia, and used primarily in the UK by the brewing and distilling industry.  It allows a easy reaction in the boil and produces consistent results, which makes it easier for the brewer to do his job.  For that reason, this type of malt is exported in significant quantities to the US.  I had it with a burger (obviously) but go easy on it because its over 14% abv.  In the ned this is a faithful recreation of an English Barleywine, so its rather thick and sweet as opposed to the more hop balanced version we might be more accustomed in the US.  Well made but very malt heavy.  Tombstone Brewing Maris the Classy Otter:  3.2/5
